Conclusion1. Treatment with penicillin G in oil and wax has been effective in lowering the fatality rate of experimental hemorrhagic pancreatitis in dogs. 2. Total pancreatectomy as a treatment or preoperative oral streptomycin or sulfasuxidine as prophylaxis have been ineffective.
