Pengaruh Model PjBL Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di MTs Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang

This study aims to determine the influence of the project-based learning model on Indonesian subjects in grade VIII at MTS Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang. This research was carried out with a quantitative research method in the form of a Quasi Experiment. There were 70 students as a sample in class VIII consisting of 35 people in the experimental class and 35 people in the control class. The data collection technique used is a test at the beginning and at the end of Indonesian learning. The data analysis techniques are normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with the t-test method. The results of the study show that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model has an effect on the learning outcomes of grade VIII students, as evidenced by the t-test value that has been carried out using Microsoft Excel in this study of 9.395 which is greater than the ttable 1.668 at the significance level of α 0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. There is a significant difference between the average learning outcomes of students using the PjBL learning model. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes in Indonesian subject grade VIII MTS Kauman Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang

Kemampuan Literasi Matematis Ditinjau dari Motivasi Belajar pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang

This research is motivated by the fact that the number of students who have low mathematical literacy skills is caused by various factors. One of the factors that affects mathematical literacy ability is learning motivation. This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical literacy when viewed from the learning motivation of students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study is grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. The sample selection technique in this study uses the Stratified random sampling technique where the sample is selected based on strata. The instrument used in this study is test questions in the form of essays to see students' mathematical literacy skills. Data analysis was carried out descriptively on all research data. The results showed that the average mathematical literacy ability was 50 which was classified as low. If viewed from high learning motivation is classified as medium with an average score of 69, when viewed from medium learning motivation has low mathematical literacy skills with an average score of 56 and mathematical literacy ability reviewed from low learning motivation is classified as low in the low category with an average score of 25

The Role of Hospital By Laws in Providing Legal Protection Against Alleged Medical Malpractice at the Padang Panjang City Regional General Hospital

Hospital By Laws (HBL) is an internal hospital rule designed to provide legal protection to both patients and medical personnel. In the context of Padang Panjang Hospital, HBL should function as a reference in resolving medical disputes and maintaining the quality of health services. Based on the analysis of the situation, HBL has not functioned optimally, especially in dealing with cases of alleged medical malpractice. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of HBL in providing legal protection against alleged medical malpractice at Padang Panjang Hospital, as well as to find obstacles faced in its implementation. The method used is a sociological juridical approach with primary data obtained through interviews with related parties in the hospital, and secondary data from related legal literature. The results of the study show that many cases of alleged malpractice are resolved informally through mediation, without using strict legal procedures based on HBL. Several cases such as misalignment of surgery, incorrect installation of infusions in infants, and negligence in the installation of Nasogastric Tube (NGT) are examples of the weak implementation of HBL at Padang Panjang Hospital. The main obstacle found in the implementation of HBL is the lack of understanding and awareness from hospitals of the importance of HBL as a legal instrument. Dispute resolution is more often carried out through a family approach without involving the formal rules regulated in the HBL. This shows that there is a gap between existing regulations and practices carried out in the field. The supervision mechanism for the implementation of HBL in hospitals has also not run well, so this rule is not functioning as it should. This study suggests the need to strengthen the implementation of HBL at Padang Panjang Hospital through more intensive socialization to all medical personnel and hospital management as well as training on professional ethics and medical service standards. Supervision is needed to ensure that these rules are properly implemented in resolving medical disputes. Padang Panjang Hospital is expected to improve the quality of its services while providing better legal protection for patients.

Pengaruh Penggunaan Metode Index Card Match terhadap Keaktifan Belajar PAI Siswa SDIT Juara Padang Panjang

The low level of PAI learning activity among students is the driving force for this study. It is believed that the use of learning techniques is inextricably linked to this low activity in PAI learning. Index Card Match is one of the instructional strategies that is thought to have an impact on students' learning activities. to determine if there is a noteworthy impact on Index Card Match use. In order to go toward active learning, the author must carry out experimental study. The Quasy Experiment Design approach was used as the research method in this quantitative study. The location of this study is SDIT Juara Padang Panjang. Class IV A, IV B, and IV C, which were selected at random from 76 students' PTS scores, made up the study's population. Class IV A served as the experimental class and Class IV B as the control class. A questionnaire was one of the research tools utilized in this study (questionnaire). The t-test and F-test were used in the analytical process. The f-test was employed in the experimental class and the t-test in the control class to analyze the data. Based on the data processing results, the study findings indicate that there is a substantial difference in the usage of the Index Card Match technique on students' active PAI learning, supporting the first hypothesis. The fact that tcount (2,560) is higher than ttable (1,677) indicates this. Furthermore, it is evident that there is a considerable impact since the second hypothesis, Fcount, is 96.057 at a significance level of 0.010 <0.05, leading to the rejection of Ho and the acceptance of Ha. Thus, it can be said that using the Index Card Match Method has a big impact on active PAI learning.

Implementation of Management Function to Corn fritter Enterpreneurs in Padang Panjang City

This research is based on the background of corn business actors who are still facing challenges in applying management principles so that the production produced is not effective and efficient. The purpose of the study is to describe production management in corn farming business actors in Padang Panjang City. The type of research used is qualitative, carried out in Padang Panjang City in July 2024. The source of research data was obtained from informants, namely corn business actors. Data collection techniques by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that corn farmers in Padang Panjang City are quite good in carrying out management functions, namely: planning, organizing, directing and supervising the corn production process.

Classification of Flood Disaster Risk Areas Using Vegetation Index Calculation and Landsat-8 Satellite Imagery in West Sumatra

One of the Indonesian provinces most vulnerable to flooding catastrophes is West Sumatra. West Sumatra is a province that spans 98°36' to 101°53' East Longitude and 00°54' North Latitude to 03°30' South Latitude. Its total size is roughly 42,297.30 km2, or 4,229,730 hectares, and it is surrounded by around 391 major and small islands. Flash floods and landslides have affected a number of regencies and cities in West Sumatra, including Agam Regency, Tanah Datar Regency, Padang Panjang City, Padang Pariaman Regency, and Padang City. The objective of this study is to use vegetation index estimates based on Landsat-8 satellite images to categorise flood catastrophe risk zones in West Sumatra. NDVI = -0.106 and NDWI = -0.03999, respectively, are examples of vegetation indices that define land as either non-vegetated or sparsely vegetated, and SAVI = 0.0002447 classify areas with water bodies such as rivers/floods.

Pengembangan Materi Ajar Pendidikan Islam Bernuansa Adat Basandi Syara’, Syara’ Basandi Kitabullah Bagi Narapidana di Rutan Kota Padang Panjang

A prisoner is someone who is serving a sentence in a detention center. This research aims to: 1) describe Islamic Education teaching materials in the Padang Panjang City State Detention Center. 2) Developing Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK). 3) Revealing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the development of Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK). This research is a development research or Research and Development (R&D) with research steps referring to the 4-D development model. The findings in this study are: 1) Islamic Education Teaching Materials at the Padang Panjang City State Detention Center have not been properly arranged in accordance with teaching material components such as a) KI and KD analysis, b) Material Title and Indicators and Objectives, c) Material Outline, d) References, and e) Illustrations of Images, Tables, Diagrams. 2) Based on experiments, Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK) can be applied in all Islamic Education teaching materials. 3) The validity, practicality and effectiveness tests show that the Islamic Education Teaching Materials with the nuances of Adat Basandi Syara', Syara' Basandi Kitabullah (ABS SBK) are very valid, practical and effective.

Earned Value Analysis Terhadap Waktu dan Biaya Pada Proyek Pembangunan Gedung Pasar Padang Panjang

Along with the population and economic growth of West Sumatra, especially in Padang Panjang City, West Padang Panjang District, the need for public facilities is urgently needed, one of which is the Padang Panjang market. In a project, planning and controlling costs and time is part of overall project management, especially at the implementation stage of the case study reviewed by researchers, namely the Padang Panjang market building construction project. In this research regarding time and cost control, the earned value method is one method that can monitor project performance in terms of time and cost. Which aims to determine project performance in terms of time and costs each week and predict the time and costs to complete the remaining work. So that we can get corrective actions to be taken next to progress the project. In this research, to obtain a basic basis for writing, secondary data collection is used as supporting data for the analysis of the results themselves. The analysis and discussion carried out were calculating the BCWS value, BCWP value and ACWP value in order to obtain the time variance value (SV), cost variance value (CV), calculating the productivity index, calculating project performance and calculating the estimated analysis of total project costs and completion time. The results of the research carried out are, the overall BCWS value of the Padang Panjang market project is IDR 96,213,315,046.3, for the BCWP value at the end of the 22nd week of review IDR 12,688,575,967, the ACWP value at the end of the 22nd week of review is IDR. 12,389,476,444.2 . As for the analysis results obtained from several existing indicators, the SPI value was 1.384 > 1, while the CPI was 1.003 > 1, which means that the project was accelerated in terms of schedule but incurred actual costs that were smaller than the work that had been carried out. The ETC value is IDR 84,134,151,328.9 and the EAC value is IDR 96,523,627,773.1, while the ECD value is 373 days for the project completion time.

Pemetaan Daya Saing Produk Industri Kreatif di Sumatera Barat

This research aims to determine the level of economic competitiveness through competitive sectors based on shift-share analysis, leading sectors based on Location Quotient analysis, creative industry mapping, and creative industry product potential in West Sumatra. This research is field research using survey methods. The approach method uses a quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach. The research results show that based on the results of the shift-share analysis there are seven competitive sectors, namely wholesale and retail trade sector, followed by construction, educational services, mining and quarrying, government administration, provision of accommodation and food and drink, services others, while tourism has not been able to compete. Based on the results of the Location Quotient analysis, there are 13 basic and superior business sectors, and the tourism sector which is among the most basic or superior sectors in West Sumatra. The results of mapping the creative industries in West Sumatra showed that Tanah Datar is the area with the most creative workers. Most of the creative industry potential in culinary businesses and is located in Tanah Datar, Pesisir Selatan, Payakumbuh, Padang Panjang, South Solok, Solok, Sinjunjung, Limapuluh Kota, Dharmasraya, Pariaman Districts.

CYBERSPACE AS A PORTRAIT OF EDUCATION INOVATION FOR ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL IN THE SERAMBI MEKAH CITY WEST SUMATERA

Cyberspace is examined in this study as an example of innovation in Islamic boarding schools in Veranda of Mecca, Padang Panjang. This study is restricted to six Islamic Boarding Schools located in Padang Panjang: the Padang Panjang Putra Thawalib, the Muhammadiyah Kauman, the Veranda of Mecca Integrated Islamic Boarding School, the Thawalib Putri Islamic Boarding School, and the Puteri Diniyyah College. This study approach makes use of qualitative research, and approaches for observation, documenting, and interviewing are used to acquire data. The findings revealed that a number of Islamic boarding schools made use of cyberspace as a teaching innovation during the pandemic, including the usage of robotics, YouTube, WhatsApp, Zoom, and other social media platforms, in addition to using lab space as a resource for learning innovations. The less competent signal, the fact that some professors still do not grasp technology, and the insufficient internet allowance are some of the suggestions and difficulties that educators and students encounter. Furthermore, a lot of students still do not comprehend distance learning, and there is still a lack of student enthusiasm in studying remotely.

Analysis of Minimal Marking Technique on Student’s Writing Given by Teachers at MAN Kota Baru, Padang Panjang

This research was based on a phenomenon that the students’ writing ability was still low. It was assumed that there were two main factors influencing the students’ writing. One of them was about facilitating the students with appropriate written feedbacks. In line with that, this research was a kind of descriptive study, which was aimed at finding a deep description of the implementation of minimal marking technique given by teachers at MAN Koto Baru Padang Panjang. Participants of the research were all English teachers there. Furthermore, the data were collected by using two instruments, documents and interview. There were two findings of the research. First, almost all of the written feedback items given through the minimal marking technique were provided to help students working on their grammatical mistakes or forms of the writing, it was proven by the percentage that 99.66% of the written feedback items were focused on forms whereas only 0.34% of the written feedback items were focused on contents. Second, the written feedback technique applied by the English teachers was minimal marking technique. It is used since it is effective for teachers, particularly, in the process of giving the feedback which is time-saving. In addition, it also helps the students to be a critical writer because this technique lets the students working on the mistakes they have made.

The purpose of this research is to determine audit opinion and sharia compliance in increasing trust in zakat in Baznas Padang Panjang City. Type of qualitative research, phenomenological approach method. Baznas Research Location Padang Panjang City. The results of research on audit opinion and sharia compliance are complementary audit instruments. Sharia compliance audits complement conventional financial audits, so that the picture of Baznas' financial performance reports is more comprehensive. So that Baznas is worthy of being an authority institution in carrying out zakat management professionally and with integrity in zakat management, realizing a commitment to transparency, increasing the value of accountability as a manager of zakat funds and finally building a positive reputation and image in society. Public trust is the main factor in increasing zakat receipts at Baznas. A positive audit opinion and sharia compliance predicate is a combination of instruments that contribute to increasing Baznas zakat receipts. The research is implemented in providing recommendations to zakat management institutions that have not carried out audit activities to start implementing them. Audits help zakat institutions in building public recognition and trust.

Application of Design Thinking in Building a Product Design Study Program Profile Website Using Content Management Site Wordpress

ISI Padang Panjang product design study program still has many obstacles, one of which is that the community, prospective students, students and lecturers are still difficult to find real-time study program information and are still difficult to promote. Therefore, in order to keep up with technological developments, this study program is motivated to build a product design study program profile website by applying the design thinking method using CMS (Content Management Site) WordPress. The design thinking method is appropriate in this research because it is considered effective in overcoming challenges or problems and creating solutions based on user needs. Through the five stages of design thinking, namely, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing, it can provide convenience for researchers in searching for data, analyzing and identifying a problem, validating the idea of building a product design study program website to make it easier for users to access information on study programs, lectures, lecturers, activities and products produced by students. This can be seen from user feedback conducted at the testing stage regarding the appearance of the website with good results by the wishes and needs of the Product Design study program.

Implementation of Character Education Values Through Drawing Learning in Arts and Culture Subjects at Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri 3 Padang Panjang

The implementation of character education values through drawing in the Arts and Culture subject at SMP Negeri 3 Padang Panjang involves the process of instilling moral and ethical principles depicted in the image of the Garuda bird. This approach aims to enable students to apply these values in their daily lives. The research involves students, subject teachers, and instructors responsible for general subjects such as Religion, Pancasila, and Citizenship (KWN). The primary objective is to instill character education values by teaching students to draw the Garuda bird, the symbol of Indonesia, and to emphasize the character values embedded in it within the Cultural Arts curriculum for Secondary School students. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The research findings indicate that utilizing drawing activities, specifically focusing on the Garuda bird, effectively instills character education values in students. This is achieved through incorporating drawing lessons into the Arts and Culture curriculum. The character education values derived from the Garuda bird drawing material include religiousness, honesty, responsibility, discipline, creativity, social concern, environmental awareness, tolerance, strong work ethic, independence, democratic principles, nationalism, love for the motherland, friendliness/communicativeness, and a passionate sense of nationality.

ANALISIS LAPORAN KEUANGAN PEMERINTAH DAERAH KAB. PADANG PANJANG DAN KAB. MAGELANG TAHUN 2019-2020

Analysis of the financial performance of the Regional Governments of Padang Panjang Regency and Magelang Regency in 2019-2020 was carried out to evaluate differences in budget realization, financial performance ratios, efficiency and financial effectiveness between the two regions. The findings show a significant increase in the effectiveness of local revenue (PAD) in Padang Panjang Regency in 2020, while Magelang Regency recorded a surplus. Analysis of financial efficiency ratios and operational reports also highlights differences in the presentation of Regional Government Financial Reports between the two districts.

A COMPARISON OF ZAKAT MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION IN EAST LOMBOK, TEGAL AND PADANG PANJANG DISTRICTS

This study aims to analyze the differences in the implementation of zakat management in three different regions, namely East Lombok, Tegal, and Padang Panjang districts. Different approaches, such as economic empowerment, information technology, and integration with local government programs, underlie the implementation of zakat in each region. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews and document analysis. The results of zakat implementation in the three regions reflect variations in community empowerment. In East Lombok Regency, the economic empowerment approach has successfully increased the economic independence of zakat recipients through business training. In Tegal, information technology is used to facilitate zakat collection and distribution, creating efficiency and transparency. In Padang Panjang, the integration of zakat with local government programs resulted in the synergy of broader empowerment. The determinants of successful implementation include regional context, commitment to zakat institution, and community participation. Similar research by Muhammad Zumar Aminudin, Lila Pangestu Hadiningrum (2019) has described zakat approaches in different contexts, providing in-depth insights into variations in zakat implementation. The theoretical implication of this research highlights the importance of a contextual approach in zakat implementation. The practical implication provides guidance for zakat institutions, local governments, and communities in improving the effectiveness of zakat programs. In conclusion, the successful implementation of zakat requires an in-depth understanding of regional characteristics, selection of appropriate approaches, and adaptation to social and economic dynamics.

ANALISIS PAJAK RESTORAN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH KOTA PADANG PANJANG

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of restaurant taxes and the contribution of restaurant taxes to increasing local revenue in the city of Padang Panjang. In this research using quantitative and qualitative analysismethods. The results of the research conducted suggest that the effectiveness of restaurant tax collection for 2017-2021 is quite effective, with an average effectiveness rate of 89.05%. The highest percentage of effectiveness wasin 2021 at 98.13% and the lowest in 2018 was 81.21%. Meanwhile, the contribution of restaurant tax in 2017-2021was very less, with an average contribution of 1.30%, the highest contribution in 2018 is 1.53% and the lowest in2020 was 1.18%.

Efektivitas Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam Di Kelas VIII MTsN Padang Panjang

The background of this study is the large number of students who scored below KKM in the subject of Islamic Cultural History at MTsN Padang Panjang. To help solve these problems, researchers are interested in trying the Value Clarification Technique learning model to improve student learning outcomes. The type of this research is experimental with Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. The population in this research is VIII class at MTsN Padang Panjang. The sample is selected purposively from a specific population. Researchers chose class VIII E as the experimental class, and class VIII C as the control class. The instrument used is a test. For testing research hypotheses, researchers use t-tests and data processing using SPSS. The results of this study concluded that the Value Clarification Technique learning model is effective for student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History. Based on data analysis that shows the tcount results are greater than ttable. Tcount is 84.094 and ttable is 1.670. The average score in the experimental class is 88,37 and the average score in class VIII C is 71,15.

Upaya Mencapai Kebahagiaan oleh Remaja Broken Home ‎Kelurahan Pasar Baru Kota Padang ‎Panjang

This research is motivated by the existence of children from broken home families where their parents are divorced and the children do not live with both parents. The obligation to support their children is not carried out, these children feel unhappy like other friends who have intact parents. The aim of the research is to determine the efforts to achieve happiness by broken home teenagers in Pasar Baru district, Padang Panjang city. Descriptive qualitative research. Informants or people who act as information providers in this research are broken home teenagers in Pasar Baaru Village, Padang Paanjang City. Data were collected by interviews and then the data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques and data triangulation, namely by comparing data obtained from observations and interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that several efforts were made to achieve happiness by broken home teenagers, namely 1) having good relationships with other people, in this case, broken home teenagers have poor relationships with their parents, which can be seen from the fact that they rarely communicate as they should because their parents have separated. and live far away. 2) involve themselves in all aspects of life (full involvement), knowing that they are not fully involved either in making decisions about themselves, or in situations outside themselves. Teenagers are required to accept everything that has been chosen and arranged by their parents. Teenagers are also not involved in activities in. 3) finding the meaning of life, it is known that no one wants to be born into a disharmonious family. They only hope and aspire to help the mother who raised them.
