Existence of positive solutions for a class of p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with nonlocal boundary conditions

This article is devoted to proving the uniqueness of positive solutions for p-Laplacian equations with Caputo and Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. The uniqueness result and the dependence of the solution on a parameter are established based on the fixed point point theorem of mixed monotone operators. In the end, a numerical simulation is given to verify the main results.

On System of Variable Order Nonlinear p-Laplacian Fractional Differential Equations with Biological Application

The study of variable order differential equations is important in science and engineering for a better representation and analysis of dynamical problems. In the literature, there are several fractional order operators involving variable orders. In this article, we construct a nonlinear variable order fractional differential system with a p-Laplacian operator. The presumed problem is a general class of the nonlinear equations of variable orders in the ABC sense of derivatives in combination with Caputo’s fractional derivative. We investigate the existence of solutions and the Hyers–Ulam stability of the considered equation. The presumed problem is a hybrid in nature and has a lot of applications. We have given its particular example as a waterborne disease model of variable order which is analysed for the numerical computations for different variable orders. The results obtained for the variable orders have an advantage over the constant orders in that the variable order simulations present the fluctuation of the real dynamics throughout our observations of the simulations.

Study on a new [formula omitted]-Laplacian fractional differential model generated by instantaneous and non-instantaneous impulsive effects

In this paper, we discuss a new p-Laplacian fractional differential equation involving instantaneous and non-instantaneous impulses, supplemented with Sturm–Liouville boundary conditions. To study the stated problem, we introduce a new norm for fractional space, denoted by Eα,p. Under this framework, using the critical point theorem proposed by Bonanno and Marano, we prove the existence result of multiple solutions. Finally, an illustrative example is presented.

Unique positive solutions for boundary value problem of p-Laplacian fractional differential equation with a sign-changed nonlinearity

This paper investigates the existence of a unique positive solution for a class of boundary value problems of p-Laplacian fractional differential equations, where its nonlinearity is signchanged and involves a fractional derivative term, and its boundary involves a nonlinear fractional integral term. By constructing an appropriate auxiliary boundary value problem and applying a generalized fixed point theorem of sum operator and properties of Mittag-Leffler function, some sufficient conditions for the existence of a unique positive solution are presented, and a monotone iterative sequence uniformly converging to the unique solution is constructed. In addition, an example is given to illustrate the main result.

Multiplicity solutions for a class of p-Laplacian fractional differential equations via variational methods

Abstract While it is known that one can consider the existence of solutions to boundary-value problems for fractional differential equations with derivative terms, the situations for the multiplicity of weak solutions for the p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with derivative terms are less considered. In this article, we propose a new class of p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with the Caputo derivatives. The multiplicity of weak solutions is proved by the variational method and critical point theorem. At the end of the article, two examples are given to illustrate the validity and practicality of our main results.

Existence of multiple positive solutions for a class of infinite-point singular p-Laplacian fractional differential equation with singular source terms

Based on properties of Green’s function and by Avery–Peterson fixed point theorem, the existence of multiple positive solutions are obtained for singular p-Laplacian fractional differential equation with infinite-point boundary conditions, and an example is given to demonstrate the validity of our main results.

On the solvability and approximate solution of a one-dimensional singular problem for a p-Laplacian fractional differential equation

In this paper, using the monotone iterative technique, we discuss a new approximate method for solving multi-point boundary value problems of p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with singularities, which are of great importance in the fluid dynamics field. To do this, first, a sequence of auxiliary problems that release the nonlinear source terms contained in the equations from the singularities is set up, and the uniqueness and existence of their positive solutions are established. Next, we show the relative compactness of the sequence of unique solutions to these auxiliary problems to prove the solvability of our given problem. And we present some sufficient conditions to construct a sequence of approximate solutions that converges to an exact solution of our problem. Finally, we give two numerical examples to demonstrate our main results.

Variational Method to p-Laplacian Fractional Dirichlet Problem with Instantaneous and Noninstantaneous Impulses

In this paper, a research has been done about the existence of solutions to the Dirichlet boundary value problem for p-Laplacian fractional differential equations which include instantaneous and noninstantaneous impulses. Based on the critical point principle and variational method, we provide the equivalence between the classical and weak solutions of the problem, and the existence results of classical solution for our equations are established. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the major result.

Variational approach to p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with instantaneous and non-instantaneous impulses

In this paper, we studied the existence of solutions for fractional differential equations of p-Laplacian with instantaneous and non-instantaneous impulses. The existence of solutions for a class of fractional differential equations with instantaneous and non-instantaneous impulses is obtained by using the critical point theory. Unique iterative positive solutions for a singular p-Laplacian fractional differential equation system with infinite-point boundary conditions

By using the method of mixed monotone operator, a unique positive solution is obtained for a singular p-Laplacian boundary value system with infinite-point boundary conditions in this paper. Green’s function is derived and some useful properties of the Green’s function are obtained. Based upon these new properties and by using mixed monotone operator, the existence results of the positive solutions for the boundary value problem are established. Moreover, the unique positive solution that we obtained in this paper is dependent on lambda ,mu , and an iterative sequence and convergence rate, which are important for practical application, are given. An example is given to demonstrate the application of our main results.

Maximal and minimal iterative positive solutions for singular infinite-point p-Laplacian fractional differential equations

The existence of maximal and minimal positive solutions for singular infinite-point p-Laplacian fractional differential equation is investigated in this paper. Green's function is derived, and some properties of Green's function are obtained. Based upon these properties of Green's function, the existence of maximal and minimal positive solutions is obtained, and iterative schemes are established for approximating the maximal and minimal positive solutions.

Existence of positive solutions of a class of multi-point boundary value problems for p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with singular source terms

In this paper, we obtain the existence results for positive solutions of a class of multi-point boundary value problems for p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with singular source terms by using the fixed point theorem for mixed monotone operators. Furthermore, some examples are given to illustrate our results.

Existence and Nonexistence of Positive Solutions for Fractional Three-Point Boundary Value Problems with a Parameter

In this work, we investigate the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions for p-Laplacian fractional differential equation with a parameter. On the basis of the properties of Green’s function and Guo-Krasnosel’skii fixed point theorem on cones, the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions are obtained for the boundary value problems. We also give some examples to illustrate the effectiveness of our main results.

Positive solutions to p-Laplacian fractional differential equations with infinite-point boundary value conditions

This paper is devoted to an investigation of the multiple positive solutions to a class of infinite-point boundary value problems of nonlinear fractional differential equations coupled with the p-Laplacian operators and infinite-point boundary value conditions. By means of the properties of Green’s function and fixed point theorems, we establish the suitable criteria to guarantee the existence of positive solutions. Finally, an example is given in order to illustrate the main results.

Impulsive Fractional Differential Equations with p-Laplacian Operator in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we study a class of boundary value problem (BVP) with multiple point boundary conditions of impulsive p-Laplacian operator fractional differential equations. We establish the sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions in Banach spaces. Our analysis relies on the Kuratowski noncompactness measure and the Sadovskii fixed point theorem. An example is given to demonstrate the main results.

CONVERGENCE ANALYSIS OF ITERATIVE SCHEME AND ERROR ESTIMATION OF POSITIVE SOLUTION FOR A FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION

In this paper, we focus on the iterative scheme and error estimation of positive solutions for a class of p-Laplacian fractional order differential equation subject to Riemann-Stieltjes integral boundary condition. Under a weaker growth condition of nonlinearity, by using a monotone iterative technique, we first establish a new result on the sufficient condition for the existence of a unique positive solution to the above problem, then construct an iterative scheme which converges to the unique positive solution, and then present an error estimation and the exact convergence rate of the approximate solution.

The convergence analysis and error estimation for unique solution of a p-Laplacian fractional differential equation with singular decreasing nonlinearity

In this paper, we focus on the convergence analysis and error estimation for the unique solution of a p-Laplacian fractional differential equation with singular decreasing nonlinearity. By introducing a double iterative technique, in the case of the nonlinearity with singularity at time and space variables, the unique positive solution to the problem is established. Then, from the developed iterative technique, the sequences converging uniformly to the unique solution are formulated, and the estimates of the error and the convergence rate are derived.

Iterative unique positive solutions for singular p-Laplacian fractional differential equation system with several parameters

By using the method of reducing the order of a derivative, the higher-order fractional differential equation is transformed into the lower-order fractional differential equation and combined with the mixed monotone operator, a unique positive solution is obtained in this paper for a singular p-Laplacian boundary value system with the Riemann–Stieltjes integral boundary conditions. This equation system is very wide because there are many parameters, which can be changeable in the equation system in this paper, and the nonlinearity is allowed to be singular in regard to not only the time variable but also the space variable. Moreover, the unique positive solution that we obtained in this paper is dependent on λ, and an iterative sequence and convergence rate are given, which are important for practical application. An example is given to demonstrate the application of our main results.

On fractional Langevin differential equations with anti-periodic boundary conditions

In this paper, we provide existence criteria for the solutions of p-Laplacian fractional Langevin differential equations with anti-periodic boundary conditions. The Caputo fractional as well as Caputo q-fractional operators are used to address the derivatives. The main results are verified by the help of Leray–Schaefer’s fixed point theorem. We construct an example to illustrate the feasibility of the main theorems. Our results are new and provide extensions to some known theorems in the literature.
