On-site comparison of Quantum Hall Effect resistance standards of METAS and the BIPM: Ongoing key comparison BIPM.EM-K12

An on-site comparison of the quantum Hall effect (QHE) resistance standards of the Federal Institute of Metrology METAS (Switzerland) and of the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) was made in December 2017. Measurements of a 100 Ω standard in terms of the conventional value of the von Klitzing constant, R K-90, agreed to 5 parts in 1010 with a relative combined standard uncertainty u c = 23 × 10−10.Scaling from 100 Ω to 10 kΩ has also been addressed through the measurement of a 10000 Ω/100 Ω ratio. The CCL-K11 on-going key comparison. Final report for the year 2017

A laser from one national metrological institute (NMI) was compared in 2017 as part of the CCL-K11 on-going key comparison, initiated by the 13th meeting of the Comité Consultative des Longueurs (CCL) in 2007. The absolute frequency of R(127) 11-5 transitions of molecular iodine was measured following the technical protocol for CCL-K11. The result of this measurement is compiled in the present report. On-site comparison of Quantum Hall Effect resistance standards of the CMI and the BIPM: ongoing key comparison BIPM.EM-K12

An on-site comparison of the quantum Hall effect (QHE) resistance standards of the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI) and of the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures (BIPM) was made in April 2017. Measurements of a 100 Ω standard in terms of the conventional value of the von Klitzing constant, R K-90, agreed to 6 parts in 1010 with a relative combined standard uncertainty u c = 25 × 10−10. Measurements of 10000 Ω/100 Ω and 100 Ω/1 Ω ratios agreed to 11 parts in 1010 with u c = 22 × 10−10 and to 33 parts in 1010 with u c = 32 × 10−10, respectively.
