Management of Guidance and Counselling Services in Directing Students for Career Selection

This research aims to describe (1) Planning, implementation, and supervision; (2) Obstacles faced and solutions in managing guidance and counseling services to direct students in choosing a career at SMA Negeri 14 Ogan Komering Ulu. This research is qualitative research with a case study method. Data collection used in this research included (1) in-depth interviews (Depth interview), (2) participant observation (participant observation), and (3) documentation. Based on this research, the results obtained are that 1) Planning, implementation, and management supervision of guidance services to direct students in career choices has gone quite well; 2) The obstacles faced by SMA Negeri 14 OKU in managing guidance and counseling services are internal factors, lack of depth in career determination, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and teachers' busy teaching schedules; In overcoming these obstacles, four solutions have been implemented, namely 1) collaboration between BBK teachers and school personnel, 2) making a list of guidance service activities, 3) completing facilities and infrastructure BK room, and 4) manage a good time.

Opportunities and Challenges of CSR Digitalization: Lessons from Major Companies in Indonesia in Mitigating Post-COVID-19 Unemployment

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, global impacts extended beyond communities' physical and mental health, encompassing nations' economic stability. Many companies responded actively by contributing to government efforts in addressing post-pandemic economic challenges, particularly through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This research aims to identify opportunities and challenges in digitalizing CSR to mitigate the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study focuses on the CSR program, Indosat Digital Camp (IDCamp), implemented by Indosat Ooredoo. The objective is to evaluate the opportunities and challenges faced by Indosat Ooredoo in digitizing CSR to address the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing a qualitative methodology and a single case study design, the research involves interviews with 6 representatives from Indosat Ooredoo and 10 IDCamp participants from Yogyakarta, Bandung, Jakarta, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu, and Kota Tangerang. Research findings reveal that digitalizing CSR presents sustainable opportunities as it can reduce unemployment, provide industry-relevant competencies, align with Indonesia's digital era, remain relevant to post-COVID-19 digital activities, align with government programs, support the demand for digital talents, and attract community participation due to its practical nature. However, IDCamp implementation poses potential challenges, including responsive organization, internet network issues, government program support, program updates, established execution systems, coordination with mass media, and ensuring digitalization facilitates community participation in CSR programs. PREVENTIVE BEHAVIORS FOR DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER

Dengue fever is a viral infection caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected mosquito. About half of the world's population is now at risk of dengue fever with an estimated 100–400 million infections occurring annually. This study aims to determine factors related to dengue prevention behavior in the East Ogan Komering Ulu District Health Service in 2024. The design of this research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was visits to the Gumawang Health Center in 2024. The sample in this study consisted of 93 respondents. The sampling method used purposive sampling. This research was carried out on 15-26 February 2024. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Bivariate data analysis used the Chi-Square test and multivariate logistic regression. Data collection using questionnaires. Results of statistical test analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test. The results of the study knowledge (p value 0.022), draining the landfill (p value 0.047), preventive measures (p value 0.005) and ventilation (p value (0.017). Age (p value 0.35), mosquito wire installation (p value 0.47) with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) prevention behaviour at the East Ogan Komering Ulu District Health Office in 2024. The most dominant factor with dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) prevention behaviour is DHF prevention measures (p Value = 0.003) (OR 0.252). Conclusion There is a relationship between knowledge, landfill draining, preventive measures and ventilation. For the Health Office to carry out dengue prevention activities, carried out routinely and scheduled integrated in basic health services.

ANALYSIS OF THE INCIDENCE OF DIARRHEA IN TODDLERS 0-59 MONTHS IN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS

Diarrhea is one of the major health problems in children under five in many countries. Diarrhea can cause dehydration, impaired growth, and even death in children under five if not treated appropriately. Puskesmas areas are often the center of public health services, and understanding the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in these areas is important for developing effective prevention and control strategies. The research design is crossectional which aims to analyze the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers 0-59 months. Independent variables in this study are parental education, nutritional status, hand washing habits before feeding, exclusive breastfeeding, clean water sources, and family latrines. While the dependent variable is the incidence of diarrhea. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling. Proportional random sampling. Sample calculation using the lemeshow formula obtained a total of 90 with an anticipated dropout of 10% so that the sample involved in this study was 99. The analysis used was univariate, bivariate, and multivariate. The results of the study reported that there was a relationship between parental education, nutritional status, hand washing habits, exclusive breastfeeding, clean water sources, and latrines on the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers 0-59 months in the Jayapura Health Center Area, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. The most dominant variable associated is the family latrine variable. This research is recommended to further strengthen the role of posyandu and the role of cadres as a form of community mobilization so that the ODF village declaration so that PHBS runs and the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers can be overcome

ANALYSIS OF STUNTING INCIDENTS OGAN KOMERING ULU REGENCY IN 2024

Stunting represents a significant nutritional issue in Indonesia must be solved to achieve the health success indicators outlined in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). This research aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of stunting in the Tanjung Lengkayap Community Health Center Working Area, Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. Quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all parents of children under five who visited the Tanjung Lengkayap Community Health Center, Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. The sample in this study consisted of 99 respondents. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. This research was carried out from March 22 to April 25 2024. Data was collected using a research questionnaire. Bivariate data analysis using Chi-Square and multivariate tests with logistic regression. The research results showed that there was a relationship between giving MP-ASI (p value 0.04) and body mass index (p value 0.015). There is no relationship between mother's age (p value 0.35), comorbidities (p value 0.61) and smoking habits (p value 0.58) with the incidence of stunting in the Tanjung Community Health Center working area Lengkayap Lengkiti District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. The most dominant factor in the incidence of stunting is body mass index (BMI) (p value 0.032) OR (2.68). The conclusion of this study is the provision of MP-ASI feeding and body mass index significantly influence the incidence of stunting. Community health centers should screen children under five who are at risk of stunting, or have a history of being at risk of stunting

Pengaruh Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Timur

The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of competence on employee performance at the East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Education and Culture Service, with a total sample of 54 people using the saturated sampling method. Meanwhile, for hypothesis testing, a quantitative approach is used by distributing questionnaires with the aim of obtaining data that can be analyzed accurately and the results can be generalized. The results of this research show that competency has a significant effect on employee performance at the East Oku Education and Culture Service.

LEGENDA GOA PUTRI DAN SI PAHIT LIDAH DESA PADANG BINDU: TINJAUAN STRUKTURALISME LEVI-STRAUSS

This research aims to examine the structure of the legend of Goa Putri and Si Pahit Lidah in the Padang Bindu area, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method combined with Levi-Strauss's Structuralism theory. Data mining techniques were carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that there are four episodes of the Legend of Goa Putri and Si Pahit Lidah, namely (1) the initial episode and the origins of Putri Dayang Merindu, (2) episodes of the characters' lives and daily lives, (3) problem episodes, and (4) final episodes. There are four myths in the Legend of Goa Putri and Si Pahit Lidah, namely (1) the myth of the tiger guarding Goa Putri, the friend of Princess Dayang Merindu, (2) the myth of Sumuhun water which can make you stay young, (3) the myth of Si Pahit Lidah's curse on Princess Dayang Merindu, and (4) the myth of the curse of the Si Pahit Lidah for the village area. There are three forms of binary opposition relations, namely relations of differences in status between characters, relations of place, and relations of differences in time. The values contained are (1) friendship can be made with anyone, (2) an invitation to love the environment, especially water, maintaining the sustainability, cleanliness and clarity of water as a source of life for humans and other living creatures, and (3) teaching humans to be able to hold back anger or be patient and be kind to anyone. Coffee Farmers' Obligations Response to 4C Certification in South OKU Regency South Sumatra Province, Indonesia

The increasing demand for certified coffee has encouraged coffee exporters in Indonesia to try to help and certify coffee in their areas. Sustainable standards and certification can encourage coffee farmers to implement GAP rather than economically, socially and environmentally sustainable coffee production, the standard code coffee community (4C) certification used globally reaches 1,768,272 tons. The study aimed to determine whether farmers agreed to the implementation of 4C coffee certification in South OKU Regency. The sample was made of coffee farmers in South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency located in Pulau Beringin and Runjung Agung Districts, taken randomly and measured using a Likert scale. The study results showed that farmers agreed to implement 4C, which is in the economic, social, and environmental dimensions. Regarding environmental aspects, several important things are overlooked, especially restrictions on the use of pesticides, considering that farmers are currently accustomed to using insecticides and herbicides.

Food source diversity and honey production in stingless bee meliponiculture, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur, South Sumatra, Indonesia

Biodiversitas 25: 2747-2756. This research, conducted with meticulous care, aims to collect data on the diversity of food source plants and analyze vegetation, honey production, and quality in stingless bee cultivation (Meliponiculture) in East Ogan Komering Ulu District (OKUT), South Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The research was carried out using a comprehensive survey method with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The qualitative methods record the type of stingless bee food sources, while qualitative methods are used for honey quality. Direct observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews with beekeepers were carried out to collect data on honey production. The investigation involved observing food-supply plants in the meliponiculture area designated as the research site. Meliponiculture area location is the presence of beekeepers actively engaged in producing honey. The results of the inventory of food plant types at the meliponiculture location showed that the composition of food source plants consisted of six species of forestry plants, three species of plantation plants, seven species of MPTs, one species of crop plant, eight species of home garden and four species of shrubs. The planting pattern of plantation and forestry possesses the highest honey yield, which is 360 kg per year. Cultivated honey products have good quality and comply with Indonesian National Standards (SNI), which include organoleptic tests and laboratory tests, with results: Water content 27.14% w/w, reducing sugar content 62.05% w/w, degree of acidity 101.64 ml NaOH Kg, Total solids insoluble in water 0,066% w/w, Ash Content 0.24% w/w, and acidity degree (pH) 3.25.

Analysis of Performance Management And Work Achievements of Agricultural Extenders Assisting For Agricultural Economic Improvement (PPEP) South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency

This research aims to analyze the performance management of agricultural extension in organizing agricultural extension in South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The subjects of this research are agricultural instructors assisting agricultural economic improvement (PPEP), which is an agricultural instructor recruiting from the South Sumatra Province Governor's Program based on South Sumatra Governor Regulation Number 45 of 2020. The sampling method was carried out using a census where the entire population was used as a sample, namely 113 respondents in 19 sub-districts. The performance of extension workers is measured using a scoring method with measurement indicators by the Minister of Agriculture Regulation Number. 91/Permentan/OT.140/9/2013. The data analysis method used is Job Performance Value (NPK) analysis. The research results from the analysis show that the performance management of agricultural extension workers has a score with an average value for planning preparation of 4.70. Implementation of agricultural extension 3.61, while evaluation and reporting 4.87. The work achievement score has a score in the Fair category, namely 50%.

Pelatihan Pembuatan Terarium Sebagai Produk kewirausahaan Bagi Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sindang Danau Kabupaten Oku Selatan

Formal school education institutions, one of which is Senior High School (SMA/SMK/MA) both public and private, which is in the process of achieving success in the teaching and learning process, are currently starting to implement entrepreneurship programs for students, especially since the Covid pandemic -19 hit. South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKUS) is one of the districts in the province of South Sumatra, administratively located on the Sumatran highway so that the development of this district continues to progress. Various educational institutions both private and public, including SMAN 1 Sindang Danau. This PkM program aims to provide information for students and teachers in making terrariums as entrepreneurship learning based on science lessons. The activity was carried out on October 20 2022 at SMAN 1 Sindang Danau, OKU Selatan Regency. The implementation method is done by direct simulation. The results achieved by students of SMAN 1 Sindang Danau can apply terrarium making techniques as an application of science learning.

Relationship Between Physical Activity and Body Mass Index with Uric Acid Levels in The Community

Physical activity is related to uric acid levels in the blood, and an increase in body mass index (BMI) is associated with an increase in uric acid levels due to increased triglyceride synthesis in the liver associated with increased purine synthesis by new routes, thereby accelerating uric acid production. The results of Riskesdas in 2018 showed the number of joint diseases from the weighted average results in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency was 1,040. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between BMI, physical activity, and uric acid levels in the community in Sukaraya Village, East Baturaja District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2023. This study used an accidental sampling method with a cross-sectional approach and involved 67 respondents with criteria aged between 26 and 45 years, living in Sukaraya Village, being able to read and communicate well, and being willing to be respondents, while the exclusion criteria in this study were not willing to be respondents and could not communicate, and willing to be a respondent, while the exclusion criteria in this study are not willing to be a respondent and cannot be communicated with. The instruments used were the International Physical Activity Quitioner (IPAQ) questionnaire to measure physical activity, scales to measure body weight and height, and uric acid sticks and digital devices (easytouch) to measure uric acid levels. Data were processed using SPSS and chi-square analysis to determine the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. The results of chi-square data analysis showed a relationship between physical activity and uric acid levels (p-value 0.005) and a relationship between BMI and uric acid levels (p-value 0.000). Physical activity and BMI index correlate with uric acid levels in residents in Sukaraya Village, East Baturaja District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. It is necessary to increase knowledge about joint health for the community by providing counseling on joint health and also holding activities such as gymnastics so that physical activity and body mass index can be controlled so as to reduce the risk of high uric acid levels.

Analysis of Factors Associated with the Incidence of Hypertension in Community Health Centres

There is still a high number of cases and there is an increase from year to year in cases of hypertension in the work area of the Community Health Center and there is a risk of uncontrolled blood pressure, causing complications in hypertensive patients. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension at the Martapura Health Center, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. The design of this research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study were people seeking treatment in Martapura in 2024. The sample in this study was 98 people. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. This research was carried out on February 22-March 15 2024. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Bivariate data analysis used the Chi-Square test and multivariate logistic regression. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between age (p value 0.00), body mass index (p value 0.005), physical activity (p value 0.000), consumption of fatty foods (p value 0.011), and family history (p value 0.029) with the incidence of hypertension at the Martapura Health Center, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. The most dominant factor in the incidence of hypertension at the Martapura Health Center, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024 is age (p value 0.000), (OR 0.062). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between age, body mass index, physical activity, consumption of fatty foods and family history with the incidence of hypertension at the Martapura Health Center, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. Suggestions for the Martapura Health Center can improve the PTM program, especially hypertension in the elderly, as well as provide education in the community to carry out routine control of hypertension status.

Performance Analysis of Non-Communicable Disease Integrated Care Post Cadres at Community Health Centres

The implementation of the Posbindu PTM programme encounters many obstacles such as insufficient facilities and infrastructure, lack of training and limited human resources, This study aims to determine the factors associated with the performance of Posbindu PTM cadres at the Martapura Health Centre. This research is quantitative with a crossectional approach. The population of this study were cadres Posbindu PTM in Martapura Year 2024. The sample in this study amounted to 60 people. The sampling method uses total sampling. This research was conducted on 22 February - 15 March 2024. Data collection techniques by interview using a questionnaire. Bivariate data analysis using Chi-Square test and multivariate using logistic regression test. The results showed that there was a relationship between motivation (p value 0.006) and training (p value 0.00) on the performance of NCD posbindu cadres at Puskesmas Martapura, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. There is no relationship between age (p value 0.59), attitude (p value 0.21) and supervision (p value 0.46) to the performance of NCD posbindu cadres at Puskesmas Martapura, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. The most dominant factor with the performance of cadres posbindu NCD at Puskesmas Martapura East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Year 2024 is motivation (p value 0.004) (Odds Ratio 0.179). Conclusion there is a relationship between motivation and training on the performance of cadres posbindu NCD at Puskesmas Martapura East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency Year 2024. Suggestions for Puskesmas should provide motivation to cadres posbindu PTM, such as giving appreciation or reward to cadres who excel.

Implementation Analysis of the Role of Promotional Media, Husband Support, and the Role of Health Professionals on Visual Inspection Acetate Test at Community Health Centres

Cancer is still one of the highest causes of death in the world, still not achieving the coverage of IV test examinations in women of childbearing age in the Puskesmas work area, where achievements are still below the achievement of national targets This study aims to determine the factors associated with the implementation of the IVA Test examination at the Kota Baru Health Center, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. This research design is quantitative with a crossectional approach. The population of this study were women of childbearing age (WUS) in 2024. The sample in this study amounted to 84 people. Inclusion criteria for women of childbearing age who are willing to become respondents, while the exclusion criteria are in a state of illness. The sampling method uses Purposive sampling. This study was conducted on 07-29 February 2024. Data collection using questionnaires. Bivariate data analysis using Chi-Square test and multivariate logistic regression. The results showed there was a relationship between knowledge (p value 0.016), husband support (p value 0.000), promotional media (p value 0.000) and the role of health workers (p value 0.015). There is no relationship between age (p value 0.50), age at first marriage (p value 0.42) and attitude (p value 0.18) with the implementation of the VIA test at the Kota Baru Health Centre, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. The most dominant factor with the implementation of VIA examination is husband support (p value 0.000). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge, husband support, promotional media and the role of health workers with the implementation of the VIA test at the Kota Baru Health Centre, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2024. Suggestions for the Puskesmas should be in the implementation of the IVA tets method, involve the husband, provide counseling to the family so that the implementation can run well.

One policy but different interpretations: A case of agricultural policy implementation in Indonesia

AbstractThe Indonesian governments developed the Upsus Pajale policy to achieve a goal and solve the problem of food self‐sufficiency. Rice, corn, and soybean were the main commodities in the plan of Upsus Pajale Policy implementation. UPSUS Pajale improve rice, corn, and soybean production for food self‐sufficiency. This study examined UPSUS Pajale policy implementation at the province, district, subdistrict, and farmer levels. This study examined rice growing in Banyuasin's tidal lowlands, Ogan Komering Ilir's swamplands, and East Ogan Komering Ulu's irrigated rice fields. The research method used a combination model of quantitative and qualitative (mixed method). Sampling data used purposive sampling. NVivo 12 software examined provincial, district, subdistrict, farmer interviews, and group discussions. Results affected typology management constraints differently. Production input costs were the most common issue. This study found that policy was differently implemented at various levels. It would be impacted to the success of the policy.

Analysis of Food and Non-Food Consumption Patterns Household

Purpose: This study aims to determine the influence of household income, head of household education level, and number of family members on consumption patterns in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Methodology: The study uses quantitative descriptive analysis with multiple linear regression analysis tools. Results: The findings show that household consumption is influenced not only by regional typology but also by socioeconomic conditions. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that household income, head of household education level, and number of family members positively correlate with food and non-food consumption patterns in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Findings: Hypothesis testing indicates that household income significantly affects food and non-food consumption patterns. The education level of the head of household also significantly affects both food and non-food consumption patterns. However, the number of family members significantly affects food consumption patterns but does not significantly affect non-food consumption patterns. Novelty: This research provides insights into how socioeconomic factors influence consumption patterns in a specific region. Originality: The study offers a detailed analysis of the relationship between household socioeconomic characteristics and consumption patterns. Conclusions: Household income and head of household education level significantly influence both food and non-food consumption patterns, while the number of family members significantly influences only food consumption patterns. Analysis of rice paddy farmers' perceptions of subsidized fertilizer policy on tidal and irrigated land

This study aims to analyze farmers' perceptions of subsidized fertilizer policies, on tidal and irrigated land. The research was conducted on 2 types of paddy fields, namely tidal land in Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency and irrigated land in Buay Madang District, East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The sampling technique was Simple Random Sampling, which obtained a sample of 50 respondents in each type of tidal and irrigated land, so that the total sample was 100. Then the respondents were interviewed using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively using 4 indicators of the effectiveness of subsidized fertilizer policies, namely the right price, right place, right amount, and right time. The results showed that the right place and right time indicators were effective in tidal land, but the right price and right amount indicators were not effective. On irrigated land, the right price and right place indicators are effective, but the right amount and right time indicators are not effective.

Biodiversity, ecology, and bionomic aspects of Anopheles mosquitoes during the dry season in southern Sumatra

Biodiversitas 25: 1644-1654. South Sumatra and Lampung are western parts of Indonesia’s provinces that are endemic to malaria. This study aimed to determine Anopheles mosquitoes’ diversity, ecology, and biting behavior in both provinces. Understanding the diversity, ecology, and bionomy of Anopheles supports malaria elimination in endemic areas as well as surveillance of vectors in malaria-eliminated areas. The study was conducted during the dry season from June to July 2023. Mosquitoes were collected from southern Sumatra, Indonesia, i.e. Segara Kembang Village in Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) District, South Sumatra Province, as well as Gayau and Durian Villages in Pesawaran District, Lampung Province. Adult mosquitoes were caught by human landing, resting, and cattle bait collection, while larvae were collected with dippers in the breeding habitat. A total of 4426 mosquitoes from 8 species of Anopheles were identified based on their morphology. The diversity index of Anopheles from all sample areas during this season was low (H’<1). Anopheles barbirostris s.l. and An. vagus found in habitats such as paddy fields and former fish ponds in OKU and Pesawaran District. As for abandoned shrimp ponds in Pesawaran, An. sundaicus s.l. and An. subpictus s.l. were the dominant ones. Mosquito An. sundaicus s.l seems to have a greater tendency to bite humans, whereas An. subpictus s.l was generally zoophilic. An. vagus was always present in all collection methods in all villages, with the greatest abundance in OKU. The finding indicates An. vagus appears to be the most variable in the behavior of all captured mosquitoes; therefore, in the future, it may be able to act as a major vector if transmission is not prevented.
