The awareness of sound impact to human organism is constantly growing, affecting in the increase of documents number aiming at limiting of general noise, reverberation noise and provision of good speech legibility. Such acoustical qualities are especially important in the offices and open plan call centres. Therefore this article was devoted to presentation of findings on theory and architectural room design practice aiming at archiving optimization of the sound field. They served formulation of guidelines and recommendation for architectural acoustical design of office space. Guidelines were formed in regards to: architectural and acoustic interior planning strategy aiming at sound absorbance, with the: general and detailed spatial and material solutions, aiding systems, fittings and fixture and proper device implementation and isolation. There are a lot of studies and works on acoustics or architecture in respect of open office, jet a huge gap between these two domains exists. Hence, this article combines them both reviling their mutual influence and relation between geometrical, building or material planning and sound absorbance with its propagation.
