About domestic technological solutions — import substitution: the experience of the manufacturer of parking equipment "CleverPark"

With the departure of foreign companies from Russia due to sanctions, the need arose to intensively develop our own production in many industries. The production of parking systems was no exception. The issue of equipping parking lots with Russian-made equipment became especially pressing last fall: in Vladivostok, Kaluga, Novosibirsk and other cities, parking meters installed by foreign manufacturers stopped working. The CleverPark company produces parking equipment and develops software for parking automation, successfully replacing departed foreign manufacturers in the market. Major projects include the supply of self-developed parking meters for the city parking space of Tyumen, the modernization of parking meters for the needs of the City Parking Management Center of St. Petersburg, as well as the modernization of equipment in parking lots for the State Central Management Center of St. Petersburg. The company also developed a central parking management system within the framework of the Unifi ed City Parking Space of St. Petersburg and equipped the parking space of the airports of Simferopol, Novy Urengoy and other facilities. Currently, CleverPark equipment has been installed or is being installed in 20 cities of Russia, including 8 airports. The article describes the experience of import substitution of foreign parking equipment and creating its own production, and also provides examples of projects implemented by the company.

MINERALOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS OF SNOW COVER WITHIN THE ANTHROPOGENICALLY DISTURBED SITES OF THE NADYM-PUR INTERFLUVE (NORTHERN PART OF WESTERN SIBERIA)

The article analyzes the content of metals in solid aerosols and snow water sampled in the anthropogeni-cally disturbed and background sites of the Nadym-Pur interfluve. The results of microscopic studies of solid aerosols showed the presence of secondary minerals, technogenic formations, as well as a large amount of pyrite in samples from the eastern part of the study area. The maximum concentrations of metals in solid aero-sols were found in snow of the sanitary protection zones of waste disposal facilities, with the exception of Ca, which prevails in snow cover of Novy Urengoy (up to 10% of dry matter). The urbanized area is characterized by the highest values of dust load (up to 111 mg/m2 a day). The local contamination with Ba within the waste landfills in Novy Urengoy is associated with the sites of barite and drilling waste processing. We applied the factor analysis to identify the main metal associations characteristic of solid aerosols from different functional zones: Ca-Co-V-Mn (city), Ba-Sr-K-Na and Cd-Cu-Pb (waste disposal sites), Cu-Ni-Cd (the entire studied area). Based on the study of the content of dissolved forms in snow water, a high mobility of metals in the northern landscapes and its decrease in urban environment were revealed. The mineralogical and geochemical analysis of snow suggests the influence of the Norilsk industrial region on the eastern part of the Nadym-Pur interfluve, Zn, Cu, Ni, Pb and the mineral pyrite being the indicators. The risks of environmental pollution under the aerotechnogenic transport are associated with high content of Zn, Cu, Ni, Pb and Ba in solid aero-sols. The calculation of the Toxicity Probability Index (MERMQ) showed that some aerosol samples from the landfill sites have a high probability of biological effects. Using data on the chemical composition of soils and soil water, no visible effect of snow pollution on the growth of metal concentrations in soil and soil water was revealed, with the exception of local contamination with Ba, which led to a twofold increase in the content of the metal in the upper soil horizon.

The relevance of optimizing the route network of public transport in Novy Urengoy is related to the annual increase in the length of urban routes, in particular due to the expansion of bus routes, and the uneven distribution of passenger traffic. The article refers to the methods for optimizing the public urban passenger transport system to meet the existing transport demand. The example of the development of a route network for Novy Urengoy have been used to performed the topology analysis of route tracing and the analysis of the cartogram of the city. Based on the results of the study, measures have been proposed to optimize the route network of public urban transport. The relevance of the present study is related to the use of algorithms and methods developed by the author to optimize transport systems while making research in the largest cities of the Russian Federation - Perm, Ekaterinburg, Samara, Kurgan, Yoshkar-Ola and Chita.

Дистанционная оценка качества атмосферного воздуха в населенных пунктах нефтегазовой специализации Ямало-Ненецкого автономного округа

The remote assessment of methane (CH4), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and sulfur dioxide (SO2) concentrations in the atmosphere of oil-and-gas profile settlements within the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for 2019–2022 was made for the first time. Data analysis from the TROPOMI spectrometer revealed that the highest levels of atmospheric pollution are observed near industrial centers and major cities (Novy Urengoy, Salekhard, Nadym). Increased impurities were identified along gas pipelines (near compressor stations). The highest average values of nitrogen dioxide content were recorded in Novy Urengoy (1,34 mol/m², with contamination peaks occurring in winter months). Excessive concentrations of sulfur dioxide were found in urban-type settlements. The highest average values were recorded in Stary Nadym (20,35 mol/m²). The maximum methane content (1866,2 ppb) was reported in Novy Urengoy. Urban air, in general, has increased methane content. However, focuses of its spread are also observed beyond cities, which may be a consequence of global warming

Hypertension and COVID-19 in the conditions of the Arctic watch (according to the data of the medical unit in Yamburg)

Objective. To study the peculiarities of COVID-19 course and gender differences in patients with arterial hypertension (HTN) in the conditions of the Arctic watch.Design and methods. In the settlement of Yamburg (Nadym district), 517 case histories were retrospectively analyzed by random sampling: 359 men (M) and 158 females (F) treated as inpatients at the medical unit of GAZPROM DOBYCHA YAMBURG LLC in the period 2019–2021. Of these, a diagnosis of COVID-19 was verified in 233 M (with HTN — 150 M (64 %) and 77 F (with HTN — 51 F (66 %)); and those without COVID-19: 126 M (with HTN — 77 M (61 %) and 81 F (with HTN — 38 F (47 %)). The diagnosis of COVID-19 was based on the detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA by polymerase chain reaction. Retrospective analysis was performed as part of routine clinical practice; patients gave written informed consent for data processing according to the order No. 36/1 dated 29.01.2020 and the approved informed consent form.Results. M and F groups who survived after COVID-19 were significantly older than those who did not. The largest number of COVID-19 patients among M and F were from the group of interregional watch — rotations from temperate regions without crossing the time zone (Tyumen, Ufa, Tobolsk), the smallest — from the group of intraregional watch (coming on a rotation from the Far North — cities Nadym, Novy Urengoy). Correlation analysis showed direct significant relationships between COVID-19 and age (p = 0,009), northern experience (p = 0,006), and history of HTN (p = 0,002). Patients with HTN who survived after COVID-19 were significantly more likely to have grade II obesity. M with HTN compared to F and M with normal blood pressure (BP), had a significant decrease in saturation (94,8 (5,0) % vs 95,9 (3,0) %, p = 0,038) and had an increase in the number of individuals with a severe course (11 % vs 4 %, p = 0,041). In 6 M with HTN who survived after COVID-19, atrial fibrillation was registered for the first time. Myocardial repolarization disorders, blockade changes (incomplete right bundle branch block), sinus tachycardia were registered more often in HTN subjects.Conclusions. Thus, our analysis showed that patients with HTN, overweight or obesity were more likely to be infected with COVID-19 under the conditions of the Arctic watch. In 65 % of cases, COVID-19 was accompanied by moderate changes in the lungs of the CT1 type, due to the timely hospitalization of patients. M compared to F more often had a severe course of COVID-19 with a significant decrease in saturation and more frequent electrocardiography changes. Observation and being on a 2-week quarantine before the watch had no significant success in limiting the incidence of COVID-19.

A predictive and normative model for the “smart city” implementation concept in expert discourse

The smart city concept strikes a discourse in the academic, media, political field in the present period. Discursive topics for that matter are the concept implementation model of choice determination, including its main structural parameters and the horizons of future develop-ment establishment. The challenge is the lack of a comprehensive approach to provide the effectiveness of social elements in the model of implementation of the concept of the smart city. The research issue includes an expert diagnosis parameter of the citizen as a subject. Set of parameters characterizing the social space of the city, namely, activity, identity, norms of trust and solidarity of the population, which together reflect the level of citizens’ subjectivity is proposed to take as a system indicator of the model of concept’s realization. The author model of the smart city concept implementation complements and expands the quadruplehelix model. The purpose of the work is aimed at predictive-normative model diagnostics by the expert community of the city for its integration into the management practice. Representatives of authorities, businesses, non-profit organizations of six cities as experts (Tyumen, Tobolsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Surgut, Salekhard, Novy Urengoy) evaluated the implementation, prospects of the approach in their cities and the possibility of including the subjective model in management practice. The survey uncovered some degree of contradictions in the positions of experts on the predictive and normative model for the concept’s implementation. Most experts admit the increasing city dwellers subjectivity, but do not see opportunities and conditions for new forms of its institutionalization. As whole expert attitudes are not predictive, but rather demonstrate a prolongation of the existing provisions and trends of urban development. Nevertheless, the study showed that the parameters of the subject model are not in conflict with the existing model and can be used in the practice of urban management.

Decentralized heat supply systems for industrial buildings using natural gas from the Arctic zone

The article discusses the issue of saving fuel resources, a significant reduction in the cost of maintaining and purchasing gas high-temperature sources of heat supply. The paper proposes for comparison a radiation heating system and a system with a water coolant, taking into account the design features of production shops. This assessment was carried out for an industrial facility to be located in Novy Urengoy, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia.

Distribution of mercury concentrations in lichens, mosses and larch needles in Western Siberia (according to the 2019 data)

Abstract. This paper presents data on mercury concentrations in samples of lichen and moss, as well as needles of trees (larch, cedar and pine), taken in September 2019 along a rare sampling network on the meridional transect from the Novy Urengoy area in the north to Tobolsk in the south. The mean Hg concentration (ng/g) in samples of moss, lichen and larch needles was 26, 15 and 17, respectively. The Hg concentrations in samples of annual needles of pine and cedar were below the detection limit of the method (<10 ng/g). We discuss possible factors that affect the heterogeneity of the Hg distribution in biomonitors and the discrepancy between the Hg concentrations for samples taken at the same sites. There was a systematic increase in background mercury concentration near the Novy Urengoy city and the Gubkinsky town. We assume a possible decrease in the Hg concentration in the mosses of the middle part of Western Siberia compared to its northern part.

Stay or Leave? Arctic Youth Prospects and Sustainable Futures of the Russian Arctic Communities

Based on quantitative and qualitative analysis, this paper attempts to answer a research question that is critical for many Arctic communities: “What makes local youth want to leave?” Using the Russian Arctic cities of Naryan-Mar, Salekhard, and Novy Urengoy (Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets regions) as case studies, this article explores how local youth contribute to social sustainability and define the futures of their Arctic cities. The study identifies new variables relevant to the youth cohort built on the Urban Sustainability Index and social sustainability model. Based on 400+ questionnaires and interviews with Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth, education professionals, and public officials, this study looks at the youth’s educational and professional strategies, social activities and cultural consumption, migration patterns, and civic engagement in a broader context. This article also discusses how local youth feel disempowered in building their futures and highlights the importance of access to educational opportunities and wider career choices in the Arctic.

The extraction of the training subset for the spatial distribution modelling of the heavy metals in topsoil

The choice of the method of raw data dividing into train and test subsets in the models based on the artificial neural networks (ANN) is one of the underexplored problems of continuous Spatio-temporal field interpolation. Selecting the best training subset for modelling the spatial distribution of elements in the topsoil is not a trivial task since the sampling points are not equivalent. Errors and outliers, which are present in the distribution, can be misleading. Most of the points, which contain utility information, should be involved in modelling. The raw data were Chromium (Cr) and Manganese (Mn) contents in the topsoil on the residential areas in Noyabrsk and Novy Urengoy (South Part) cities (Russian subarctic zone). A three-step algorithm for extraction of the raw data dividing into training and test subsets for modelling the spatial distribution of the feature presented. The spatial distributions of the element contents in the topsoil, which constructed by the multilayer perceptron (MLP), consider spatial heterogeneity and training rules. The MLP structure was chosen by the minimization of the root mean squared error (RMSE). For each territory, according to the number of hits in the training subset, the points divided into three classes: the «elite», «middle», and «useless». Considering this information at the stage of dividing the raw sample makes it possible to increase the accuracy of the predictive model.

Plant species diversity in urban areas of Northwest Siberia

The flora of two towns and two settlements in the northern taiga and forest-tundra of Northwest Siberia (Russia) are considered. Urban species lists are limited (61–119 vascular plant species) and mainly consist of native species with a predominance of perennial herbs. Various urban functional zones (industrial, residential, recreational, vegetable patches) differ by species composition, and this difference increases in the course of city development. In the industrial zone, vegetation composition is closer to the native flora, because of the low number of adventive species. Maximal diversity is due to decorative plants, cultivars and southern weed distribution, and is typical to residential neighborhoods. Species diversity increases mainly because of woody plants introduction. Alien species are represented generally by a small number of individuals. The severe climate and poor soils limit their abilities to spread in the Far North. Urbanization forces the reduction of aboriginal biodiversity, but in northern areas where native species have the adaptive advantage, this effect is minimal. Changes in flora since 1995 were analyzed in the town of Novy Urengoy (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Russia). Plant diversity increased by about 20 % in all functional zones, although some alien and natural species were not recorded in 2018.

Differentiation of Trace Metal Contamination Level between Different Urban Functional Zones in Permafrost Affected Soils (the Example of Several Cities in the Yamal Region, Russian Arctic)

Dynamically developing urbanization causes a number of environmental effects, including those related to the chemical transformation of soils. Relatively less information about the urban areas of the Arctic and Subarctic zones, constructed mostly on permafrost and intensively populated areas can be found. By the example of the analysis of basic soil properties and concentrations of trace metals in the soils of the cities of Salekhard, Urengoy, Nadym, Novy Urengoy and Gaz Sale (the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District), as well as various functional zones within the cities, the relationship between the age of the cities, the level of anthropogenic pressure and the type of parent materials and the character of accumulation of metals in the soil profile of urban soils have been described. The direct correlation was found between the content of Pb, Cr, Ni, As and soil sorption characteristics. In young cities built on sandy sediments, there is less accumulation of heavy metals in the topsoil horizons. Relatively higher concentrations of Cu and Cd were noted in soils of industrialized cities, regardless of functional zones. The higher content of Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn, As and Pb has been registered in older zones also frequently used for residential purposes. The calculated values of the PI index for some functional zones of young cities show the medium and high content of heavy metals. The analysis of Igeo and PLI indices shows a large diversity both in relation to individual cities and their functional zones. Soil quality, in spite of the high level of anthropogenic load, was assessed as mostly satisfactory.

Methods for Calculating the Population Size in Transport Modelling

The article discusses the problem of choosing a method for calculating the population size for feasibility studies in transport modelling of the design road network of cities in the northern regions of the Russian Federation, using the example of the city of Novy Urengoy. The objective of the study is to determine the optimal method for forecasting the population size to obtain initial data for transport modelling. During development of feasibility studies for the city of Novy Urengoy, features of the demographic structure of the northern cities of the Russian Federation affecting the choice of the method for forecasting the population size were identified. Based on the theoretical analysis of scientific literature, the article discusses various methods of calculating the population, analyses the relationship of the existing demographic structure and its influence on the methods of forecasting the population size for transport modelling. In the context of aggravation of demographic problems of the Russian Federation, it is important to assess the regional features of the prospects for changing the population size. The article suggests recommendations on the use of the method of forecasting the population size, considering regional features of cities founded in 20th century because of development of mineral deposits in the northern regions of the Russian Federation.

СОВРЕМЕННЫЕ ТЕНДЕНЦИИ СМЕРТНОСТИ НАСЕЛЕНИЯ ПРОМЫШЛЕННЫХ ГОРОДОВ АРКТИЧЕСКОГО МАКРОРЕГИОНА: СХОДСТВО И РАЗЛИЧИЯ

The authors have evaluated dynamics in indicators of standardized mortality and life expectancy in the industrial cities of the Arctic macroregion. Those cities are characterized by a higher mortality rate including mortality from external causes compared to the Russian indicators. The highest mortality from lung cancer is registered in the city of Norilsk. Purpose. To identify trends in life expectancy and main causes of death in a number of cities with the developed industry of the Arctic macroregion, namely: Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk, Syktyvkar, Norilsk and Novy Urengoy, in comparison with the urban population of Russia as a whole. Material and methods. Analysis of mortality in the selected cities was carried out on the basis of the Rosstat data with a breakdown on sex, age and causes of death for 2008-2019. To level random annual fluctuations, mortality rates were calculated for four three-year periods. The decomposition method was used to analyze contribution of groups of causes of death to changes in life expectancy. Results. Dynamics in life expectancy in the Arctic cities generally follow he national trends with certain differences. Cities in the Arctic macroregion are characterized by a greater contribution of the reduced mortality from external causes to the rise in life expectancy. Moreover, in Norilsk, the contribution of diseases of the circulatory system in both men and women was negative, and it was the decrease in mortality from external causes that contributed to the increase in life expectancy. However, mortality from external causes of death in the Arctic cities remains higher compared to the all-Russia indicator. This city is characterized by higher mortality from neoplasms, (mortality from lung cancer is 1.2-2.5 times higher). Despite the increase in life expectancy in the Arctic cities over the past decade, trends in mortality from some causes of death in some cities remain negative. Conclusion. Trends in mortality in the Arctic cities largely repeat the national ones but are characterized by a number of features that should be taken into account while developing regional measures for effective mortality reduction. A special attention should be focused on such reserve of mortality reduction as diseases of the respiratory and digestive system, neoplasms, infections as well as external causes of death.

Transport factors in the long-term development of the eastern part of the Arctic zone of Russia

The authors consider the importance of the transport factor in the development of new territories and formation and functioning of territorial socio-economic systems in the East of the Arctic zone of Russia. Transport links are primary in the development of socio-economic systems, since mastering of a territory and the formation of the corresponding territorial systems begin with them. The features of the natural resource potential of the East of the Arctic zone of Russia as the basis of its economic activity are highlighted. In this regard, a certain similarity was noted between the regions of the Arctic zone of Russia in their industrial production specialization i.e. mining of non-ferrous and precious metals are present in all regions. The basic functions of all modes of transport for the East of the Arctic zone of Russia are shown. The specific role of transport factors in mastering of natural resources in the Arctic regions is also recognized. To ensure integrated long-term (sustainable) development of the East of the Arctic zone, it is proposed to consider a promising option for the construction of the Arctic Railway from the Anadyr and Beringovsky settlements along the Arctic coast to Tiksi, Norilsk, and Novy Urengoy. The proposed Arctic railway will become a powerful regional factor. On the one hand, it will have a great impact on the development of supporting economic centers on the coast, both existing and new. On the other hand, it will sharply increase the adaptive potential of the population living in this zone. At the same time, effective complementarity of the developing Northern Sea Route by rail can be achieved. All that will become important prerequisites for the long-term development of the Arctic zone of Russian Far East.

Anthropometric characteristics of 8-14 years old children in three Russian cities

The aim of the study was to assess and compare the main anthropometric characteristics of children aged 8 to 14 years living in three northern cities. Methods. The consisted of schoolchildren living in St. Petersburg (n = 4 621), Surgut (n = 3 606) and Novy Urengoy (n = 1 101). Indigenous ethnic groups were not included. Body weight and height were measured. Arithmetic means (M), standard deviations (SD) and 95 % confidence interval (CI) were calculated. Between-groups comparisons were performed by independent-samples t-tests. The level of significance was set as 0,017 using Bonferroni correction. Results. Schoolchildren in Surgut were taller in most age- and gender groups than their counterparts from St. Petersburg. Significant differences in height were observed among 8, 9 and 11 year-olds (p = 0.001 p = 0.015). In weight the differences were observed among 11 and 14 years old (p = 0.004 ÷ 0.006). Radioisotope 7Be, 210Pb, 137Cs and 40K in the needles of larch and cedar in the Novy Urengoy region (Arctic part of Western Siberia)

Annual needles of larch and cedar were sampled in the tundra zone of the Arctic part of Western Siberia in order to determine 7Be, 210Pb, 137Cs and 40K specific activities. Higher concentrations of 137Cs and 40K in the needles of cedar relative to the needles of larch can be associated with a clear difference in the properties of accumulation and translocation of cesium and potassium among these species. Higher concentrations of 7Be and 210Pb in the needles of larch relative to cedar needles and close isotopic ratios (7Be/210Pb) are probably due to more efficient aerosol deposition on vegetative canopies of larch.

The Construction Of Roadbeds on Permafrost and in Swamps from Reinforced Soils of Increased Strength

The paper presents the history of the transport infrastructure of the West-Siberian oil and gas complex in the last century and ways to solve the problems of road construction in the twenty-first century. The development of the territory of Siberia and the North in the present period is constrained by the low rates of development of the transport structure. One of the reasons for this lag is the lack of regulatory documents to substantiate transport structures in the harsh climatic and difficult soil and geological conditions based on the use of new modern road-building materials. The development of new resource-saving materials, structures and technologies based on local building materials, products and industrial waste using modern methods and research methods in materials science is an aim of current study. The general research methodology consisted of theoretical, laboratory and field studies. The developed designs and technologies for the construction of embankments in permafrost and in swamps using geotechnical holders filled with unsuitable soils (thawed and frozen waterlogged peat and clay soils) can reduce the volume of work and the cost of construction by one and a half to two times while increasing the service life of structures. The experimental sites of embankments constructed between 1995 and 2009 in the wetlands of the Uvat Group of deposits in the Tyumen Region and in permafrost in the areas of Novy Urengoy have been observed for more than ten years. The artificial stone material tested in Murmansk and Surgut based on the strengthening of local soils with inorganic binders with polymer additives using modern technologies allows it to be used instead of imported stone materials and reinforced concrete slabs for the construction of structural layers of road pavements, reinforcing slopes, as well as in hydraulic structures. The new artificial stone material is characterized by high strength and durability in areas with a temperature gradient of the external environment of more than 100 (from +50 to -50 °C).

Accumulation of natural radionuclides (7Be, 210Pb) and micro-elements in mosses, lichens and cedar and larch needles in the Arctic Western Siberia.

This is a study of the atmospheric-origin natural radionuclides (7Be and 210Pb) and a wide range of micro- and macro-element accumulation in mosses, lichens, cedar and larch needles in Arctic western Siberia (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District). Based on the specific activities measurements of atmospheric precipitation markers (7Be and 210Pb), this study found that the concentration of dust particles in the studied objects incrementally increases in the following order, from lowest concentration to highest: cedar needles, larch needles, lichens and mosses. Concentrations of Zr, Hf, Ti, Th, Fe, V, Li, Na, Si, Be, Y, rare earth elements (REE) and Sc in this area also increase in the same ascending sequence. Enrichment factors of these elements (EF) relative to the North American Shale Composite (NASC) are close to unity, which proves their terrigenous origin. Also, the terrigenous origin of the elements in the studied biological objects is confirmed by their high correlation coefficients with Sc. This means that their concentration in the studied biological objects is the result of a background of solid atmospheric precipitation. Enrichment factors of biogenic elements and their analogues (P, Se, Mn, Mg, Ca, K, Zn, Sr, Ba, Rb, Cs) are significantly greater than unity, and this is associated with high concentrations of these elements in the biological part of the samples. A radially symmetric distribution of Pb content in biological objects is observed over the surface of the studied area (with a center located within the city of Novy Urengoy). This leads to the conclusion that there is a point source around which anthropogenic precipitation of Pb takes place. This distribution is most clearly manifested by the example of larch and cedar needles. Anthropogenic deposition of other elements has not been detected in this study area.

7Be, 210Pbatm and 137Cs in Snow Deposits in the Arctic Part of Western Siberia (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District)

Radioactive isotopes (7Be, 210Pbatm and 137Cs) are used as indicators of processes associated with the transfer of matter from the atmosphere. Studying snow cover can provide information about the seasonal deposition flux of the isotopes to the Earth’s surface over the entire period of snow accumulation. The purpose of this study is to identify the features of 7Be, 210Pbatm and 137Cs deposition with the atmospheric precipitation in winter in the Arctic part of Western Siberia and to study the contribution of the particulate fractions of suspended matter in snow water to the total content of the radionuclides in samples of integrated seasonal snowfall. Snow samples were taken over a wide area along the highways around Novy Urengoy in April 2019. The suspended matter in snow samples was divided into three fractions. The isotopic composition was determined by high-resolution semiconductor gamma-spectrometry. The seasonal deposition flux of 7Be and 210Pbatm in the winter at the time of sampling averaged 58.7 and 25.2 Bq m−2 season−1, respectively. The average specific activity of 7Be and 210Pbatm in the snow water was 248.0 and 104.5 mBq L−1. The deposition flux of 137Cs from the atmosphere was low compared to 7Be and 210Pbatm and did not exceed 0.39 Bq m−2 season−1 at all sampling points. This indicates an insignificant modern flux of the radionuclide from the atmosphere. The separation of suspended matter in snow water by particulate fractions shows that the studied isotopes are present in all the extracted fractions: >3, 0.45–3 and <0.45 μm. The main part of 210Pbatm in all studied samples is in the coarse-grained fraction >3 μm. Most 7Be is contained in finely dispersed aerosols, colloids, or a dissolved component (where the fraction <0.45 μm). A significant increase in the contribution of coarse-grained fractions of suspended matter in snow water to the total activity of 7Be in snow precipitation was observed in territories with a higher anthropogenic impact.
