Geographical aspects of organizing industry exhibition activities in the Northwestern Federal District of Russia

The exhibition industry is a relatively new and dynamically developing type of economic activity. It has a great influence on the development of trade and economic relations, promotes goods, services, technologies, forms the image of the region and generally helps the development of individual sectors of the economy, regions and the country. The author sees the main task in identifying the geographical aspects of exhibition activities in the Northwestern Federal District as one of the most vulnerable in the conditions of modern sanctions policy. The article formulates the results of the study, which are based on a database created by the author of 195 exhibitions held in the Northwestern Federal District and containing comparable information about each exhibition (venue, number of domestic and foreign exhibitors, visitors, specialization, trade policy, etc.). Its analysis made it possible to determine the region’s position in the country’s industry exhibition activities; industry structure based on the comparative geographical characteristics of exhibitions in the service sector, industrial exhibitions, exhibitions of the agro-industrial complex (the leadership position of industrial exhibitions is noted in terms of the ability to influence the economy of the region), the geographical features of industry exhibition activities in the region are identified based on the ranking of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation according to the studied indicators. The calculation of the coefficients of specialization, localization and shower production in the sectoral exhibition activities of the district made it possible to develop a classification of subjects of the Russian Federation according to the level of activity of exhibition activities.

Geography of population migration of the Southern Federal District

The article, based on state statistics, conducted a study of the transformation of geography and trends in the development of migration of the population of the Southern Federal District. Using an interdisciplinary integrated approach, an analysis of migration flows, their directions, scale and intensity was carried out, the geography of migrations of the most migratoryly attractive subject of the district - Krasnodar Territory - was determined, and mapping of migration indicators was carried out using modern information technologies for studying space and visualization.It is shown that, despite the decrease in migration turnover due to the coronavirus pandemic, the long- term trend of positive migration dynamics in the Southern Federal District has remained, and in terms of the intensity of net migration in 2021, the macroregion took first place among all Russian districts.There have been no major changes in the geography of incoming and outgoing migration flows. Intra- Russian migration is characterized by a migration outflow of the population to the Central and Northwestern federal districts, and migrants from all other districts, but most of all from Siberia and the Far East, come to the southern macroregion. The main flows of international migrants come from citizens of the CIS countries, primarily from Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.A comparative analysis of the migration movement of the subjects of the Southern Federal District showed that in the macroregion Krasnodar Territory ranks first in terms of the volume and effectiveness of migration, and in terms of the intensity of migration movement, it exceeds the Russian average. To date, the steady trend of positive dynamics in the migration balance that has developed in Kuban since the middle of the last century has been preserved. However, there has been a significant decline in net migration. The main modern vector of intra-Russian migration flows is movement to Kuban from the northern regions of Russia, Siberia and the Far East. Most international migrants arrived in the Krasnodar region from CIS countries. During the study period, the main suppliers of cross-border migrants were Ukraine, Armenia and Kazakhstan.

Assessment of the level of energy security in the regions of the northwestern federal district under emergency conditions in the gas industry

The article presents an assessment of the level of energy security using the example of the subjects of the Russian Federation located in the territory of the Northwestern Federal District. The approach to the assessment is based on the use of the apparatus for monitoring and indicative analysis of energy security (ES), developed in the ISEM SB RAS. An assessment of the level of ES in the regions is carried out based on modeling the situation with the cessation of operation of the most important facilities of the gas industry, and an analysis of the dynamics, scale and trends in the change in the state of the level of ES when modeling the situation using peak UGS facilities provided for by the General Scheme for the Development of the Gas Industry for the Period up to 2030, for the analyzed subjects of the Russian Federation.

Stand-up comedy is one of the brightest youth scenes of modern Russia, rapidly gaining popularity over the last decade. This genre of modern laugh culture rarely gets the attention of either foreign or domestic scholars and researchers. This article focuses on the career strategies of stand-up comedians, the peculiarities of their communication with audiences in the context of the formation of the stand-up scene in contemporary Russia in comparison with the formats of humor and laugh culture characteristic of the Soviet and post-Soviet times. The uniqueness of the Russian stand-up experience will be revealed through the analysis of characteristic style markers associated with the genre: the liminality / transboundary nature of the emerging culture, the high mobility of stand-up artists, creative collaborations, and touring exchanges within and between cities in their native regions. As a theoretical framework, the construct of youth cultural scene is used as the most adequate to the case under the study. The empirical base of the article is 15 semi-structured interviews with participants in the stand-up scene, non-participant observation of stand-up performances, and the textual analysis of blogs of stand-up comedians. The case study material was collected as part of a large-scale research project aimed at tracing the migration strategies and life plans of talented young people in the Northwestern Federal District of Russia.

In recent years, various forms of interaction between the state and business have been developing. Business interest in state industrial parks is associated with the possibility of quick launching of production, optimizing logistics costs, meeting domestic demand for domestic prod-ucts and expanding existing facilities. In order to attract residents to parks, the state provides tax and legal preferences, preferential lending and support to investors and residents. Creating new jobs and attracting investment in production contributes to the economic growth of the region, improving the quality of life of the population through rising incomes and improving infrastruc-ture. All these factors associated with the development of state industrial parks in the region have a significant impact on its sustainable development. The analysis of sustainable development of the region aims to maintain equality in the social, economic and environmental spheres. However, existing approaches to assessing the sustainability of a region do not include the presence of in-dustrial parks on its territory and the volume of investment in their development. The article pro-poses a methodological approach to assessing the sustainable development of a region, taking in-to account the peculiarities of the functioning of state industrial parks in it. As a result of the study, an index of sustainable development of the regions of the Northwestern Federal District was calculated and its relationship with the volume of investments in state industrial parks was assessed. The proposed methodological approach makes it possible to improve the quality of decisions made on the development of state industrial parks in the regions. The obtained research results are necessary for management companies for the purpose of making management decisions and for residents when choosing a site for placement.

Межрегиональное неравенство в России и постсоветских странах в XXI веке

The article analyzes the level and dynamics of interregional inequality in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and some European countries (in terms of NUTS-2 territorial units) according to available data from official statistics of the CIS countries (1995–2022) and Eurostat (2011–2022). The Gini coefficient, weighted by population and normalized depending on the number of territorial units, was used as the main evaluation parameter. The lower level and stability of interregional inequality in the countries of the European Union and Belarus are associated with a high and more uniform development of the territory and a more stable economic structure. In large post-Soviet countries, the dynamics of interregional inequality are multidirectional; there is no stable trend, which is associated with resource and capital rent in a limited range of regions. In Russia and Uzbekistan since the late 2010s. inequality grew, decreased in Kazakhstan, and was small and stable in Belarus due to the peculiarities of the economic structure and institutional factors of development. Assessments of the influence of the macroeconomic factor on interregional inequality did not provide obvious confirmation of its impact. The impact of the state’s redistribution policy can only be assessed for Russia: it was more noticeable during the crises of 2009 and 2020. Within Russian federal districts, differentiation is lower. High inequality is typical for the extremely heterogeneous Ural Federal District and the Central Federal District, where it has been declining in recent years. In the Far Eastern Federal District, regional differentiation grew, and its gradual increase also occurred in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District.

Staffing of the hematology service of the Russian Federation

Introduction. As part of the implementation of the federal project Development of a network of national medical research centers and the introduction of innovative medical technologies, one of the activities of the National Medical Research Center for Hematology (Center) is the analysis of the staffi ng of medical organizations (MO) of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (RF) by hematologists.Aim — to analyze the dynamics of staffi ng by hematologists of MO in the RF.Materials and methods. Data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) — Federal Statistical Observation Form No. 30 “Information about a medical organization” of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for 2012–2020, reference books of the Central Research Institute of Organization and Informatization Health of the Russian Ministry of Health in the Russian Federation, information obtained from the results of on-site events of the National Medical Research Center for Hematology, including expert assessments were used.Results. The hematological service is organized in all subjects of the RF, with the exception of the Chukotka and Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Republic of Kalmykia and Altai, as well as the Jewish Autonomous Region. As of December 31, 2021, 1,594 hematologists work in the constituent entities of the RF, of which 460 specialists are in outpatient care and 1133 specialists in hospital settings. Analysis of the availability of full-time positions of hematologists per 10,000 populations in the Russian Federation in dynamics for 2012–2020 revealed fl uctuations in the values of this indicator from 0.06 to 0.17. The largest “failure” in the provision of hematologists occurred in 2014 in almost all federal districts (FD) of the Russian Federation. Only the Urals FD maintains the stability of the indicator of availability of these specialists. Over the past 3 years, there has been an increase in the number of full-time positions of hematologists, while the staffi ng of individuals reduced due to the lack (increase) of new employees and slightly offset by an increase in the coeffi cient of internal part-time work. Thus, the highest combination coeffi cient was noted in 2020 in the Ural (1.49) and Siberian (1.45) FD, the lowest in the North-Western FD (1.09). In accordance with the legal act regulating the activities of the hematology service, the standard for calculating the positions of outpatient hematologists is 1 doctor per 200 thousand of the population, however, the provision of full-time positions for the outpatient stage of care remains not achieved (2021 — 0.92 per 200 thousand); at least 731 doctors are needed against the existing 456 specialists. The staffi ng standard of the department of hematology corresponds to one medical position per 10 beds. Compliance with regulations regarding the formation of the staffi ng table of the inpatient unit was noted in 95% of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.Conclusion. The issues of personnel shortage of hematologists are relevant. The shortage of hematologists in the Russian Federation indicates the lack of attractiveness of remuneration and indicates the need for management decisions to be made by the Government of the Russian Federation and executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation aimed at developing mechanisms for maintaining the human resource of hematologists in the healthcare system.

Molecular characteristics of Cryptosporidium scrofarum in pig farms of the Vologda region of the Northwestern Federal District of the Russian Federation

The purpose of these studies was to identify, identify, analyze and study the distribution of Cryptosporidium scrofarum in pigs in the farms of the Vologda Region of the Northwestern Federal District of the Russian Federation.For the first time in the Russian Federation, using the example of the Vologda Oblast of the Northwestern Federal District in pig farms of various types using the latest molecular genetic methods, namely using high-throughput sequencing of amplicon libraries of fragments of the 18S rRNA gene obtained because of nested PCR, we have established the infection of C. scrofarum in all age groups of examined animals. The contamination of animals kept in pig farms was 34%, in farms - 32.4%. Animals that are fattened at the age of 13-24 weeks are most susceptible to infection.Analysis of ASV taxonomic affiliation using phylogenetic analysis, supplemented by analysis using the blastn algorithm in the GenBank database, showed that a total of 10 ASV types (amplicon sequence variant) are present in all tested samples, which have high similarity to sequences deposited in GenBank as fragments of the 18S p gene Cryptosporidium scrofarum RNA. It has been established that the types of ASV1 and ASV2 detected in various geographical regions of the world from Portugal and Great Britain to China, India and Australia are identified in all examined farms, although in significantly different quantities. The remaining ASVs are present in much smaller numbers and do not repeat from farm to farm. These sequences probably belong to local populations of subspecies Cryptosporidium scrofarum. It is interesting to find a unique sequence of the genus Cryptosporidium of type ASV8, which can later be described as a new species.

Analysis of the primary incidence of drug addiction disorders in regions including cities with a population of over a million and regions without such cities

To analyze the primary incidence of mental disorders and behavioral disorders associated with the use of psychoactive substances in subjects with cities with a population of over a million and in subjects where there are no such cities, using the example of the Volga and North-Western federal districts. Material and methods. The study compared the detection rates for these disorders obtained from the forms of federal statistical observation №11 «Information on diseases with narcological disorders» for 2020 in all subjects that are part of the Volga and North-Western federal districts. Results. When assessing the detectability of narcological disorders between the North-Western and Volga federal districts, significant differences were found in the detectability of alcoholism, harmful use of alcohol and harmful use of narcotic substances. In all cases, the detection of such disorders was higher in the Volga Federal District. At the same time, when assessing the detection of drug addiction, no differences were found. It was established that the primary incidence of drug addiction, the harmful use of alcohol and drugs was significantly higher in the cities with a population of one million in the Volga Federal District. And in the Northwestern Federal District, the opposite situation was observed. It draws attention to the fact that the detection of alcoholism, the harmful use of alcohol and the harmful use of drugs is significantly less in St. Petersburg, compared with other subjects of the district. Conclusion. The incidence of narcological disorders depends on many factors, including economic, social, as well as the territorial location of the subject. In addition, the identified differences both between the compared federal districts and between regions with cities with a population of over a million and regions without such cities indicate different approaches to organizing drug treatment services for the population, in particular preventive and diagnostic measures.

Resource Provision of the Obstetric Service of St. Petersburg with Beds and Medical Personnel

Introduction. In the context of a declining birth rate, maintaining and improving the level of women's reproductive health is the main task in the activities of the obstetric service, the normal functioning of which is impossible without satisfactory resource provision.
 Purpose. To conduct a comparative assessment of the resource provision of the obstetric service of St. Petersburg with obstetric beds and medical personnel with indicators in the Russian Federation and the Northwestern Federal District in dynamics for 2017–2021.
 Material and methods. Using the information obtained from statistical collections Federal State Budgetary Institution «Central Research Institute for the Organization and Informatization of Healthcare» of the Ministry of Health of Russia, a comparative assessment of the indicators of the provision of the obstetric service of the metropolis with obstetric beds and medical personnel in dynamics over five years was carried out. Statistical analysis of the obtained data was carried out using StatSoft STATISTICA 10.0.
 Results. In 2017–2021 the obstetric service of the metropolis had a lower, compared with Russia and the Northwestern Federal District, availability of obstetric beds, more than half of which were beds for pregnant women and women in childbirth. In the dynamics of the provision of St. Petersburg with obstetric beds in general, beds for pregnant women and women in childbirth, and beds for the pathology of pregnancy, a trend of annual reduction in beds, common with the Russian Federation and the federal district, was observed. However, the rates for all obstetric beds have declined less significantly than the national and county averages. Provision of women of childbearing age in St. Petersburg with obstetrician-gynecologists exceeded the average figures for Russia and the Northwestern Federal District. With the annual negative dynamics of the decrease in the provision of the obstetric service in the Russian Federation and the federal district with medical personnel, in the metropolis the increase in obstetrician-gynecologists for five years was 1.6 %, and the provision with midwives decreased less significantly. The contribution of the metropolis to the obstetric bed fund and medical personnel of the obstetric service of the federal district was more than a third and increased almost every year.

Epidemic status in Russia’s Northwestern Federal District: tick-borne encephalitis and ixodes tick-borne borreliosis (lyme disease), 2002–2021

The study's objective was to reveal trends in tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) and Ixodes tick-borne borreliosis (ITBB) epidemic processes in Russia's Northwestern Federal District (NWFD) in 2002–2021. In the NWFD during the analyzed period, more than 1.1 million patients sought medical help following tick bites (14% of all cases registered nationwide). The long-term average tick bite incidence rate in the NWFD exceeded the nation-wide value: 409.5 and 280.7, respectively. In the NWFD, the highest long-term average tick bite incidence rates were recorded in Vologda Oblast, Pskov Oblast, and Novgorod Oblast. The tick bite incidence rate tended to grow in the NWFD, as well as nationally. The growth in tick bite incidence was statistically significant in the Republic of Komi, Kaliningrad Oblast, and Arkhangelsk Oblast. In 2002–2021, more than 6000 TBE cases were registered in the NWFD (11% of all cases registered nationwide), and the TBE long-term average incidence rate in the NWFD exceeded the national value: 2.3 and 2.0, respectively. The Republic of Karelia, Arkhangelsk Oblast, and Vologda Oblast were three NWFD subjects with high TBE epidemical hazard. TBE incidence in the analyzed period tended to decrease, both in the NWFD and nationwide. A statistically significant decrease in TBE incidence was revealed in St. Petersburg, in the Republic of Karelia, in Novgorod Oblast, and in Leningrad Oblast. About 22 000 ITBB cases were reported in the NWFD during the analyzed period (15% of all ITBB cases in Russia). The ITBB long-term average incidence rate in the NWFD exceeded the national value: 7.9 and 4.9, respectively. Vologda Oblast, Kaliningrad Oblast, and Pskov Oblast were three NWFD subjects with high epidemical hazard in terms of ITBB. ITBB incidence during the analyzed period tended to decrease, both in the NWFD and nationwide. The decrease in ITBB incidence was statistically significant in Vologda, Kaliningrad, Novgorod, Leningrad and Pskov Oblasts, as well as in St. Petersburg. In the Republic of Komi, in contrast to other NWFD subjects or national data, there was an uptrend in both TBE and ITBB incidence.

РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ И ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТЬ РАБОТЫ ГОСУДАРСТВЕННОГО СЕКТОРА В РЕГИОНАХ СЕВЕРО-ЗАПАДНОГО ФЕДЕРАЛЬНОГО ОКРУГА

Studies of the spatial aspect of the public sector efficiency are relevant for Russia because there is a tendency to increase the inequality in the development of Russian regions. For the subject of this study stand the results of public sector activities in the Russian economy in regional context and costs of achieving them. PSE (Public Sector Efficiency) was assessed for 85 regions of the Russian Federation for two periods: 2008–2014 and 2015–2021, and a spatial visualization of the obtained values of the public sector efficiency index is presented. The efficiency rating was headed by the Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Okrugs, the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg turned out to be the least effective. The production possibility frontier of the public sector of the subjects of the Russian Federation has been constructed. An in-depth analysis of the results and efficiency of the public sector in the Northwestern Federal District was carried out, and practical recommendations for their increase were presented. A large interregional differentiation in the public sector efficiency in the NWFD has been revealed. The advantage of the NWFD regions was noted in almost all areas of public sector activity, especially in Environment and Economic Development, with a small lag in the Security block.

ВЛИЯНИЕ СМЕРТНОСТИ ОТ COVID-19 НА ИЗМЕНЕНИЕ ОЖИДАЕМОЙ ПРОДОЛЖИТЕЛЬНОСТИ ЖИЗНИ В СТАРШИХ ВОЗРАСТАХ В РЕГИОНАХ СЗФО РОССИИ

The article is a continuation of the study of life expectancy (LE) at older ages in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District of Russia [1] and is devoted to the analysis of the impact of mortality from the cause of death of COVID-19 on the life expectancy of men and women at older ages in the regions of the Northwestern Federal District of Russia. The paper presents the dynamics of life expectancy at birth and at older ages (60, 70 and 80 years) from 1990 to 2021. Particular attention is paid to the decrease in life expectancy in the period 2020–2021. The effect of excluding the cause of death from coronavirus infection on life expectancy in older ages has been studied. The regions with the maximum and minimum decrease in life expectancy during the pandemic were identified. The regions that would benefit the most and least from the exclusion of this cause of death were determined.

Multidimensional Comparative Analysis of the Development of Agriculture in the Regions of the Northwestern Federal District

The development of the agrarian sector in the conditions of the Northern Nonchernozem belt of Russia (the Nonblack Soil Zone) provides for food security at the level of the regions. Diagnostics of agriculture at a regional level taking into account an investment component allows identifying the vectors of its development with the consideration of the complex of the factors.The purpose of the research – the working-out and practical approval of the methodology of a multidimensional comparative analysis of the development of agriculture through the example of the territorial subjects of the Northwestern Federal district.Materials and methods. The research is based on the study of earlier published academic papers of the scientists in the area of the appliance of the statistical methods by the evaluation of the dynamics of the development of the regions and diagnostics of the condition of the agrarian sector. The use of regulatory legal acts of the industry development and data provided by Rosstat (Federal State Statistics Service) insured the objectivity of the conducted calculations. The use of the classical statistical methods, including the multidimensional comparative analysis, provided for the systematic approach to the evaluation of the development of agriculture at the regional level.Results. The developed methodology of a complex comparative evaluation of the regions proposes the multidimensional comparison of indexes characterizing each object submitted in a form of the system of indexes divided into problem sections. As the result of algorithm realization and a calculation ordering specified by the methodology for each region, an integrated index of the complex comparative evaluation of the development of the sector of agriculture was received in comparison with the other regions of the Northwestern Federal District. The received comparative evaluation on problem sections and subsections of indexes and integrated across their whole system serves as a basis for forming-up of ratings of the compared regions for defining their weak and strong points in the development of the studied sector. The methods of the analysis includes norm setting of each index on an aggregate basis of the compared regions, calculation of specific comparative evaluations for each one in a matrix form, creating a midline evaluation table, based on the calculation of the sum of their values throughout the system of analyzed indexes of the condition and development of agriculture for each region. The generalization of the evaluation result is realized by the summation of earlier calculated indexes. An integral estimation of the regions is based on bringing the obtained generalized comparative evaluations to a non-negative form and the percentage expression of their values. The analysis of the specific comparative evaluations of each problem section allows determining the impact of the factor corresponding to this section in creation of the value of an integrated evaluation, therefore estimating the problematic sides of the development of the agricultural sector in comparative evaluation with the situation existing in other regions.Conclusion. The diagnostics of the development of agriculture based on the suggested methodology allows defining the key factors of the implementation of the development strategy of the sector for making reasonable managerial decisions.

Metallurgical Waste as a Raw Material Reserve for Achieving Carbon Neutrality of the Construction Industry. Part 1. Ability of Metallurgical Waste to Bind CO2

The solution to global environmental problems is to reduce the anthropogenic impact on the environment through the utilization of carbon dioxide emissions and the use of industrial waste to produce new materials and products. Technogenic wastes of the metallurgical industry are considered as raw materials for the production of building materials and products with the ability to bind gaseous CO2. The analysis and selection of waste from metallurgical enterprises located in the Central and North-Western Federal Districts of the Russian Federation is carried out. The results of studies of environmental friendliness, chemical, material and phase-mineralogical compositions of technogenic metallurgy waste, their hydration activity and ability to bind carbon dioxide are presented. It is shown that the most promising raw materials for the production of building materials and products are steelmaking slags and nepheline sludge from the processing of alumina raw materials. The greatest ability to absorb and bind CO2 is distinguished by nepheline sludge (up to 12% CO2 by weight of sludge), steelmaking (converter and electric steelmaking) slags (up to 8.8 and 9.2% CO2 by weight of slag, respectively). The compressive strength of the prototypes on these types of slags depends on the degree of their carbonation and reaches values of 100 MPa or more after 6 hours of forced carbonation. It is concluded that the material obtained from man-made metallurgical waste by carbonation hardening technology can be used as a matrix substance for various building materials and products.

The state of cancer care in Russia: breast cancer. Epidemiology and survival of patients. The impact of the SARS-CoV-2-beta-coronavirus epidemic (clinical and population study)

Background. Breast cancer is the main cause of morbidity and mortality of the female population among economically developed countries, including in Russia. Despite the continued increase in morbidity, mortality is decreasing, which is confirmed by a decrease in the index of accuracy (the ratio of the number of deaths to the sick). Calculations of survival at the population level (the most important criterion for evaluating the activities of the oncological service) in Russia are carried out only on the basis of databases of the population cancer registry of the North-Western Federal District. The accumulated 1.5 million primary cases of malignant tumors allowed for the in-depth development of data on rare tumor localities, including breast cancer among the male population.Aim. To study the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the dynamics of the process of detection, mortality and survival of breast cancer patients in Russia and in the North-Western Federal District of the Russian Federation.Materials and methods. The material of the study is the reference books of the P. Petrov National Medical Research Oncology Center, Ministry of Health of Russia, and the database of the population cancer registry of the North-Western Federal District, clinical materials of the surgical department of breast tumors of theN.N. Petrov National Medical Research Oncology Center. More than 110 thousand primary cases of breast cancer were selected. Data processing was carried out by standard methods of oncology statistics recommended by the International Association of Cancer Registries (Eurocare program).Results. A significant impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the primary registration of breast cancer in Russia from 2019 to 2020 has been established, with some weakening of its impact in the subsequent period. The pandemic has had a significant impact on the quality of primary registration of patients. The value of the index of accuracy has been set back five years, but there is a sign of its improvement in 2021. The positive dynamics of one-year and five-year survival of patients with breast cancer is shown. The quality of registration of patients with breast cancer by detailed localization and histological structures of breast cancer was investigated. A significant decrease in the mortality of patients was noted when studying the patterns of dynamics in annual mortality over three follow-up periods.Conclusion. A steady increase in the incidence of breast cancer among women has been established, and the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic has been noted. The mortality rate of the Russian population from breast cancer continues to decrease. The localization and histological structure of the incidence of breast cancer in women remains unchanged. The one-year and five-year survival rate of breast cancer patients continues to grow.
