Purpose: The purpose of this study was find out the influence Green Bean extract in increasing Hemoglobin Levels in Trimester II Pregnant Women in Pratama Clinic of Bunda Tessa Dusun IA Sidourip Subdistrict Beringin District Deli Serdang in 2023. Method: Types of Quasy Experiment with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest. The population was 20 people. Sampling technique with purposive sampling was a selection of samples based on certain characteristics as many as 10 people, the statistic test used wilcoxon test. Result: Based on the result showed that the data obtained was pre-test minimum value of 8.4 maximum 11.9 while post-test minimum 10.8 maximum13.7. From the results of statistical tests thatwas with wilcoxon test known value P-value= .11 <. 05. Conclusion: The ability in this study is the effect of green bean extract on increasinghemoglobin levels in trimester II pregnant women in Pratama Clinic of Bunda Tessa Dusun IA Sidourip Subdistrict Beringin District Deli Serdang in 2023. It is suggested to be an evaluation and reference material for health workers to be applied and can inform pregnant women who have anemia in a natural way that is by consuming green bean juice as much as 200 ml.

Integrated Curriculum Management in Integrated Undergraduate Programs

This research aims to analyze program factors, implementation, evaluation and barriers to curriculum integration between Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah and the Faculty of Islamic Religion (FAI) Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra (UMSU) in the Integrated Undergraduate Program. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research findings show; 1) The curriculum integration program between Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah and FAI UMSU in the Integrated Undergraduate Program is a strategic collaboration to provide service diplomas to students, as well as facilitate students to continue higher education and improve the quality of Islamic education. 2) Implementation of curriculum integration between Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah and FAI UMSU in the Integrated Undergraduate Program is carried out through three aspects, namely integration of lecture schedules, integration of courses, and integration of assessments. 3) Evaluation of curriculum integration between Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah and FAI UMSU in the Integrated Undergraduate Program is carried out every semester. This program is able to provide positive impacts such as stability in student numbers, increasing student interest in learning, increasing the number of students with various abilities. 4) Obstacles in implementing curriculum integration between Ma'had Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah include; lack of communication and coordination, time and cost constraints, delays and division of focus, curriculum changes, and students' perceptions of the value of knowledge.

The results of this aquaponics can be used for household-scale food consumption for vegetable and fish, or as an alternative additional income for the community.

UJI AKTIVITAS STIMULANSIA EKSTRAK DAUN BANGUN-BANGUN (Coleus amboinicus L.) DENGAN METODA ROTAROD

The leaves of the Coleus amboinicus commonly consumed in North Sumatra, are known for their diverse benefits, including their use as a stimulant. These leaves contain various chemical compounds such as carvacrol, quercetin, and alkaloids. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and optimal dosage of the stimulant effects of the bangun-bangun leaf extract using the rotarod method. The extraction method used was maceration. The bangun-bangun leaf extract (EDB) was tested as a stimulant on 30 male mice, divided into six groups: negative control (CMC-na 5%), positive control (caffeine 0.36 mg), and treatment groups given different doses of ethanol extract EDB1 2.8 mg/20g bw; EDB2 5.6 mg/20g bw; EDB3 8.4 mg/20g bw, EDB4 11.2 mg/20g bw. After oral administration and a one-hour interval, the mice were placed on a rotarod and the duration of their endurance was observed. Statistical analysis showed that the endurance duration of the mice given EDB significantly differed from the negative control, indicating that EDB has a stimulant effect. EDB1 showed no significant difference with caffeine, implying its stimulant effect is comparable to caffeine. Meanwhile, EDB2, EDB3, and EDB4 showed higher endurance duration and significant differences with caffeine, implying that these EDB doses have a stronger stimulant effect than caffeine. However, there was no significant difference between EDB3 and EDB4.

The results of the analysis show that inflation has a significant influence on the unemployment rate in North Sumatra Province. High inflation can reduce people's purchasing power and create uncertainty in the labor market. In addition, the study also found that the minimum wage plays an important role in influencing the unemployment rate. Setting a minimum wage that is unbalanced or too high compared to labor productivity can limit the growth of new jobs.

Strategi Promosi Tari Tortor sebagai Daya Tarik Wisata Budaya Berkelanjutan (Studi Kasus di Provinsi DKI Jakarta)

The Tortor Dance Performance has a cultural tourism attraction, and its role in increasing tourism is no less important when compared to other cultural attractions belonging to the Batak Tribe. This research is interesting because it was conducted in DKI Jakarta, as it is known that Jakarta is the national capital as a representation of a mini-Indonesia. Jakarta no longer only belongs to the Betawi tribe, but also to immigrant tribes who have lived in Jakarta for a long time, including the Batak tribe. The analytical method used is SWOT using a qualitative approach through data collection techniques through interviews. The results of this study stated that the potential for the Cultural Arts of the Tortor Dance in DKI Jakarta obtained positive results, meaning that the Tortor Dance has good potential, even though this dance originates from North Sumatra Province, the community still has high interest in this traditional dance. The role of stakeholders in DKI Jakarta towards the Tortor Dance Cultural Arts is considered very good, but there has not been a significant role in supporting the preservation of the Tortor Dance Cultural Arts in Jakarta. The strategy for promoting the Tortor Dance Cultural Arts in DKI Jakarta by using information technology is considered the most appropriate form to reach all levels of society. In an effort to increase the interest of the younger generation in terms of publication and information, stakeholders disseminate information about the Tortor Dance Cultural Arts through websites and social media such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and linked in.

This research aims to analyze the determinants that influence audit opinions on district/city government financial reports in North Sumatra in the form of the level of disclosure and audit findings on regional government financial reports. The number of samples used in this research was 33 Regency/City LKPD in North Sumatra province period 2019-2021. This research was processed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) software version 26. The focus of the research is partial and simultaneous in the multiple linear regression research model. The results of this research show that partially the level of disclosure has no effect on audit opinion and audit findings have no effect on audit opinion, but simultaneously the level of disclosure and audit findings have an effect on audit opinion.

Transformation of Community Reading Garden Based on Social Inclusion

Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) is one of the means of providing reading materials managed by the community and the community. The purpose of this research is to find out the changes in TBMs in the context of implementing social inclusion in North Sumatra. Using a qualitative approach, case studies were conducted on several TBMs in North Sumatra that successfully implemented changes towards social inclusion. Information was collected through observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. The results showed that TBMs have transformed from just a provider of reading materials into inclusive literacy for all levels of society, regardless of social, economic, cultural backgrounds, or special abilities. This change can be seen in the programs implemented such as mobile libraries, literacy courses for people with disabilities, and reading and learning activities together for marginalized communities. Factors that support the success of change are management commitment, active community participation and partnerships with various parties. This study concludes that TBMs play an important role in promoting social inclusion by providing equal access to literacy to all levels of society.

This research method is a qualitative and secondary method, namely research that uses short-term time or with supporting data and qualitatively by conducting direct interviews with sources. The subject of this research is a meatball trader named Zaky Darius who is 31 years old. The research results obtained were that the maximum profit from chicken noodles was IDR 842,000, regular meatballs IDR 1,154,000, and large meatballs IDR 920,000, so that within a week Zaky's Bakso business experienced a net profit/profit of IDR 2,916,000.

Ecological dynamics and conservation implications of Indo-Pacific Tarpon (Megalops cyprinoides) in Lake Siombak, North Sumatra, Indonesia

This study presents a comprehensive examination of the Indo-Pacific Tarpon (IPT) population in Lake Siombak, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Through a year-long investigation, we analyzed various facets of IPT ecology, encompassing population structure, growth dynamics, reproductive behavior, feeding habits, and mortality parameters. Male dominance in collected specimens, coupled with consistently immature gonads in females, suggests a unique reproductive pattern influenced by the brackish nature of Lake Siombak. Utilizing the von Bertalanffy method, we determined a moderate growth rate in IPT, with a predominance of medium-sized, sexually immature individuals. The dietary analysis revealed an omnivorous nature, with a notable reliance on zooplankton, particularly Cladocera and Copepods. However, the most significant concern arises from the estimation of the exploitation rate (E), surpassing the annual optimum exploitation threshold, indicating a state of overexploitation. This underscores the urgent need for regulatory measures to ensure the sustainability of IPT resources in Lake Siombak. Our findings contribute to a nuanced understanding of IPT ecology in this specific ecosystem, emphasizing the importance of balanced conservation and management practices. The documented reproductive, growth, and feeding patterns provide crucial insights for informing targeted conservation strategies and safeguarding the enduring viability of the IPT population in Lake Siombak. This research serves as a foundational contribution to the broader field of fisheries science, advocating for evidence-based management to preserve the ecological balance of aquatic ecosystems.

The Effect Plant Media Composition on the Growth and Production Some Varieties Strawberry

This research was conducted in Barus Jahe Village, Barus Jahe District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, with an altitude of 1,367 meters above sea level. This study aims to determine the effect of the composition of the planting medium and several varieties on the production and growth of strawberry plants. The design used in this research is a Factorial Split Plot Design (RPT), which consists of two factors. The first factor is the main plot, Variety (V), with 3 levels: V1 = California, V2 = Local Bandung, and V3 = Local Brastagi. The second factor is the subplot, namely Planting Media Composition (M), which consists of Soil: Charcoal Husk: Chicken Manure, namely: M1= 1:1:1, M2= 2:1:1, M3= 1:2:1, and M4= 2:1:2.The variables observed were plant height, plant wet weight and plant dry weight, fruit weight and sugar content (Brix). Analysis of variance was used to test the effect of treatment and mean differences between treatments; honest significant difference tests, regression, and correlation were carried out at a test level of 5%. The research results showed that the composition of the planting media had no significant effect on the observed parameters. However, in some varieties, V1 (California) has a substantial impact on fruit weight and sugar content (Brix), and V2 (Local Bandung) has a significant effect on plant height, wet weight, and dry weight.

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of product quality and brand image on the purchasing decisions of Ms Glow skincare products at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra. This type of research is associative with a sample of 62 students from the 2020 Management Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra, using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that product quality has a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decisions of Ms Glow skincare products at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of North Sumatra.
