Res. d'A. Two decades ago, Paleoindian studies reached a plateau with relatively new sites being discovered. Since then, the situation has changed with the discovery of a number of new paleoindian sites and the reinvestigation of a number of older sites. New methodologies are being applied to old data and the development of the AMS system of radiocarbon dating along with an intense interdisciplinary approach to Paleoindian sites with hight integrity have greatly increase the potential for better interpretations. Students may now direct their interests toward many aspects of Paleoindian studies with the potential to continualy add signifiant new data and interpretation
