A Neutrino Factory (NF) could deliver precision measurements of the CP-violating phase, δCP, to rival measurements in the quark sector. Current NF designs require muon beam cooling, which the Muon Ionisation Cooling Experiment (MICE) will demonstrate. A lower energy approach to the NF concept, using neutrinos from stored muons (nuSTORM), does not require muon cooling and can contribute significantly to neutrino physics, specifically in the area of cross-section measurements and sterile neutrino searches.
