Evaluating genetic diversity and seed composition stability within Pan‐African Soybean Variety Trials

AbstractGiven high animal protein costs, protein deficiency is a prevalent form of malnutrition in sub‐Saharan Africa (SSA). Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] can provide a cheaper high‐quality protein source and fortify lysine‐limited cereal‐based diets. Breeding soybean for seed composition in SSA requires understanding genotype by environment interactions (G × E). African breeding programs submit cultivars for evaluation in the Pan‐African Soybean Variety Trials (PATs), providing the opportunity to examine G × E across diverse environments. With PAT data, we conducted additive main effects and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) and genotype plus genotype‐by‐environment (GGE) biplot analyses on seed protein and oil content of 17 cultivars grown with two replications in nine environments across Zimbabwe. Across environments, protein ranged from 322.8 to 445.1 g kg−1 and oil ranged from 164.8 to 242.7 g kg−1. For protein AMMI analysis, MAKWACHA performed best for both stability and a combination of stability plus content. For oil AMMI analysis, SC SPIKE performed best for stability and KALEYA performed best for a combination of stability plus content. GGE biplot analyses identified three different mega‐environments for protein and oil, with SC EXPT2, KALEYA, and SC EXPT1 having highest protein content and TGX 2002‐9FM, LUKANGA, and SC EXPT3 having highest oil content. We also evaluated genetic diversity of 19 PAT cultivars through phylogenetic analyses with 1059 USDA Germplasm Resources Information Network (GRIN) diversity panel accessions. We recommend stable and adaptable PAT cultivars to breeders and producers while highlighting genetically distinct accessions with valuable traits as a resource for breeding programs.

Artificial intelligence detection system based on multi-sensor and wireless communication

In today’s world, Internet technology and wireless communication technology are becoming more and more mature, which has brought massive network information resources to all sectors of society. At the same time, the phenomenon of data loss caused by illegal network intrusion is becoming more and more common. Therefore, it is necessary to identify and deal with them in combination with IDS (intrusion detection system). The problem of data processing is also very important. Enterprises can build a data management system according to their own needs, and use this system to process data. With the help of science and technology, AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology has become more mature and applied in many industries. Therefore, this paper proposed to build an AI IDS, and combined the deep RL (reinforcement learning) algorithm to analyze the performance of the system. This paper tested and analyzed the system from the aspects of precision and recall. The experimental results showed that the average precision of the five data sets was 94.76%, and the average recall rate was 91.4%. From the above data, combined with the algorithm in this paper, the precision and recall of the system have been significantly improved. This paper also conducted benchmark energy consumption comparison experiments for different cloud data management systems. The results showed that in terms of loading, the benchmark energy consumption of HBase was the lowest, which was 86KJ. In terms of query, the benchmark energy consumption of GridSQL was the lowest, which was 56KJ. It can be seen that different systems have their own advantages in the benchmark energy consumption of loading and query.

Genetic assessment of diverse rice germplasm for yield-related and stress tolerance traits

AbstractThe development of stress-resistant crops without compromising their yield and nutritional quality is one of the major challenges in plant biology. Plant breeders have made considerable effort in developing cultivars with high yield and tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses. This research aimed to evaluate pre-breeding resources for favorable genes conferring good yield and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses for rice varietal improvement. Two hundred forty diverse rice cultivars from top countries with which the United States imports and exports rice were selected from the Germplasm Resource Information Network (GRIN) collection, and these were characterized using molecular markers for various desirable traits. Among the cultivars, 16 were used as checks. The genes of various traits evaluated were grain number (Gn1a), panicle weight (WFP), cold stress tolerance (qSCT-11 and qCTS-12), anaerobic germination (AG1 and AG2), rice blast disease resistance (PiB, Pi-ta, Ptr, and Piz), wide compatibility (S5-n), and restoring ability (Rf4). Out of these 240 accessions, 192 have the Gn1a gene, 168 possess the qSCT-11 cold tolerance gene, 139 carry the Rf4 gene, 152 have the qCTS12 cold tolerance gene, 87 have blast resistance genes, and 44 possess the WC gene. None of the 240 accessions possess the WFP (Wealthy Farmer’s Panicle) gene. The selections with favorable genes can be used by breeders as potential donor parents for varietal improvement programs to produce new and promising cultivars with desired specific traits that may contribute towards alleviating global issues related to food security.

Application of entertainment virtual technology based on network information resources in piano teaching

With the rapid development of digital technology, e-learning and robot technology are gradually applied in various fields. As an innovative form of traditional piano education, digital piano teaching is faced with the challenge of how to improve the learning effect and add interest. The purpose of this study is to explore the application of e-learning and virtual robot technology in digital piano teaching, so as to provide an effective teaching method and improve the learning experience and effectiveness of learners. This paper uses e-learning platform and virtual technology software to create a virtual piano learning environment. Through robotics, interaction with learners is achieved to simulate a real piano teacher. Design appropriate teaching content and assessment methods to ensure that learners can fully understand and master relevant knowledge and skills. The results show that the digital piano teaching method using e-learning and robot virtual technology can effectively improve learners' interest and participation, improve their piano playing skills and music understanding ability. Learners give positive evaluation to this new teaching method, and think that it is highly practical and innovative.

Research on Strategies for Improving the Quality of English Blended Teaching in Vocational Colleges through Network Informatization Resources

<p>The blended teaching mode of “online+offline” has gradually become a widely used teaching mode due to its flexible teaching form and rich and vivid course resources. In the blended teaching mode, this article mainly focuses on how to improve the teaching quality of vocational English courses. Firstly, an analysis was conducted on the learning situation of English courses among vocational college students, including their source structure, learning characteristics, and current development status of English courses. In order to facilitate a structured analysis of students’ learning ability in English courses, a learning ability analysis model for vocational college students was constructed, and a survey questionnaire was designed to analyze their learning behavior and data. Finally, through data analysis, it was found how to use network information resources to improve the quality of English blended learning courses.</p> <p> </p>

Variation in the concentrations of phenolic compounds and carotenoids in the grain of a large collection of Triticum durum Desf. accessions

Carotenoids and phenolic compounds play an important role in durum wheat grain by influencing its health-promoting properties and processing suitability. The aim of this study was to determine the variability in the concentrations of carotenoids and phenolic compounds in genetic resources that can be potentially used to breed new durum wheat varieties. A total of 101 spring accessions from Germplasm Resource Information Network (GRIN) and three reference cultivars were examined. The concentrations of eight flavonoids (apigenin, catechin, kaempferol, luteolin, naringenin, quercetin, rutoside, and vitexin), eleven bound phenolic acids (4-hydroxybenzoic, caffeic, chlorogenic, ferulic, gallic, p-coumaric, protocatechuic, sinapic, syringic, t-cinnamic, vanillic acids, and vanillin), and three carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin, and β-carotene) were determined. Quercetin and naringenin were the predominant flavonoids (45.7 and 33.7 mg kg−1, respectively), whereas ferulic acid and t-cinnamic acid were the predominant phenolic acids (660.1 and 498.2 mg kg−1, respectively). The grain of ten accessions (9.8%) contained more than 3 mg kg−1 of lutein, and lutein concentration exceeded 6 mg kg−1 in the grain of five accessions (4.9%). The antioxidant activity of grain (ABTS) was positively correlated with the total content of all analyzed metabolites (r = 0.5435), but no linear correlations were observed between ABTS and each of the three examined groups of compounds.

The method of protecting information resources based on the semiotic model of cyberspace

The subject of research in the article is the processes of ensuring the protection of information resources in the cyber-physical space. The goal is to develop a model for implementing a method of information protection in cyber-physical space. The development is based on a semiotic model of cyberspace. The task is to develop effective strategies for protecting information resources and managing cyber security in cyberspace, taking into account social and perceptual aspects. Used methods: methods of analytical modeling and fuzzy logic. The following results were obtained. It is shown that the complex, multifaceted presentation of information in the network requires a complex approach with the separation of mixed content of information into interconnected levels. A semiotic approach is proposed, which allows for a more in-depth analysis of the interaction between people and technologies, which is especially important for understanding and managing complex information security systems. A six-level model of cyberspace was developed with a method of assessing the level of security for each of the levels of the developed model, and an integral indicator of potential threats to the owners of network information resources was proposed. The developed model was verified. The developed semiotic model of cyberspace and the integrated indicator of potential threats make it possible to improve the monitoring and management of cyber security of the owners of network information resources by taking into account various factors, including taking into account social and perceptual aspects, which is a key factor for the development of effective strategies for the protection of information resources in cyberspace.

The article is a reflection of research on web design and blog design in modern society. The work considers the relevance of learning the basics of designing a network information resource in the system of art education, analyzes the composition of its main functions and tasks. The study also highlights the main stages of designing a website, reveals their content and essence, forms an understanding of the aspects of brain activity in the perception of virtual and augmented reality, determines the neuropsychological factor of reality perception in the conditions of the information society. The phenomenon of web design is considered in the context of the cultural and professional activity of a professional specialist in the artistic design of the aesthetic appearance of the elements of the subject environment. According to researchers, web design has a significant impact on the level of aesthetic culture of various categories of the modern Internet audience, their visual thinking and worldview. An important factor in the formation of a new worldview is the intensive development of information and communication technologies, which cover all spheres of human activity. Accordingly, new needs arose in the formation of space for human life activities and human perception of the virtual world. Web design and blog design are new manifestations of the realization of personality in combination with information and communication technologies. Web design models space and projects a virtual world. Theoretical and methodological approaches are formed in the article based on the research of scientists in the field of art and the latest information technologies. Scientific, research and explanatory methods were used to achieve the goal. The purpose of the study is to determine the neuropsychological factor in the perception of virtual and augmented reality, in particular in Web design and blog design. The results of the study do not exhaust all possibilities, but they are sufficient for determining the most important priorities of human activity in the information space.

Application of computer aided audit system and innovation research of enterprise financial audit under the background of big data

In the rapid development of social economy and science and technology, in the face of the continuous increase of network information resources, the Internet, computer technology, information technology, etc., has changed the content form of daily life and social production, and brought great convenience for people's life and work. From the perspective of enterprise financial audit, the financial audit work with big data technology as the core is much higher than the traditional financial audit work in terms of work efficiency and work quality. Priority Areas and Challenges in the Digital Transformation of Libraries

Priority areas and challendges in Digital Transformation (DT) of libraries are formulated. It briefly discusses the coordination of DT of libraries on an interagency basis and the development of quality standards for library services, ensuring constitutional guarantees and equal opportunities for citizens’ participation in cultural life, accessibility of cultural goods and services regardless of income level, social status and place of residence. The creation of a system of information and library services not limited by physical barriers, the transformation of municipal libraries into multifunctional intellectual cultural and leisure centres “within walking distance”, and into points of free access to network information resources has been analysed. It is necessary to eliminate the uneven development of libraries in different regions, to develop the professional and intellectual potential of Russian libraries. Modernisation of the approach to the acquisition of library collections, active replication of best practices in the digitalisation of individual library services and the introduction of methods of data mining are also a priority. The system of scientific support for DT processes in libraries should be developed. If the DT of libraries is consistent and effective, a new model of library organization will emerge in the country, involving the DT of this sector as a strategic resource for the new economy and for ensuring the innovative development of Russia. The process of implementing the DT programme for libraries will require the mobilization of all participants in library activities and the growth of social and economic efficiency of librarianship, as envisaged in the currently existing forecast documents.

Data Mining and Analysis Algorithm of Smart City Network Information Resource Description Framework Based on Fuzzy Association Rules

Abstract Aiming at the problems of poor effect, low precision, and a long time frame in the current data mining analysis algorithm of the network information resource description framework (RDF), a data mining analysis algorithm of the network information RDF based on fuzzy association rules is proposed. Using association rule mining technology combined with fuzzy set theory, a fuzzy association rule algorithm is obtained to deal with quantitative data. Fuzzy c-means (FCM) is used to discretize continuous attributes, and the fuzzy concept pattern and its support and credibility are defined. Add a Mining Query flag to extend the SPARQL Protocol and RDF Query Language (SPARQL) syntax, define the user specified mining model, generate the corresponding project set and transaction, adopt the fuzzy association rule algorithm to generate fuzzy association rules, and realize the RDF data mining analysis of network information. The experimental results show that the network RDF data mining analysis effect of the proposed algorithm is good, which can effectively improve the network RDF data mining analysis accuracy and shorten the mining analysis time.

National Economic Recovery (PEN) Through Data Strengthening and Digitization of General Trade in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia

MSMEs are one of the actors that play a role in the Indonesian economy. The occurrence of Covid-19 greatly impacted the performance of MSMEs. National Economic Recovery (PEN) through strengthening data and digitizing MSMEs is an important thing to do. The aim is to minimize the impact of losses experienced by MSMEs actors if their products are not sold. However, this effort has several obstacles including human resource problems, infrastructure and information systems, network problems and social & behavioral problems.

Impact of Digital Tools and Technologies on The Effectiveness of Financial Control

The article presents dwells on the legal consolidation of the principles of public financial control in the era of digitalization and used as part of the control of digital tools and technologies in the Russian legal field. The study materials include the Constitution of the Russian Federation, Russian and international legal acts (laws and standards), and the websites of Russian public authorities with powers in the field of financial control. To process such materials, the authors used technical and legal analysis as the main method. They conclude that the legal regulation of the principles of public financial control in the Russian Federation is fragmentary. Based on the study of network information resources of Russian public authorities, there is a set of digital tools and technologies used to organize and conduct financial and control activities in a non-contact form. This system includes three main blocks: information systems, personal accounts, and registers. According to the authors, the legal relations that arise in connection with the use of digital tools in financial control are heterogeneous: some are directly related to particular digital technologies (tools); others do not consider a digital product an object of legal relations and assign it an auxiliary value.

Unraveling phenotypic diversity in Cynodon spp. germplasm for forage accumulation and nutritive value in the transition zone

AbstractCharacterizing phenotypic variation in germplasm collections is crucial for plant breeding. Cynodon spp. accessions maintained at the USDA National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS), and the core forage collection were screened in a replicated trial under two nitrogen rates (0 and 150 kg ha−1 per harvest) in Ardmore, OK. The goals for this study were to: (a) estimate genetic parameters for forage accumulation (FA) and nutritive value (NV), (b) estimate genotype × harvest (rgh) and genotype × environment (rge) interaction for all traits, (c) quantify FA and NV for commercial cultivars and selected accessions. The experiment was setup as a row‐column design with two replicates and augmented representation of controls: Tifton 85, Wrangler, Midland, and Cheyenne. The trial was harvested five times (twice in 2016 and three times in 2017) and data were analyzed using linear mixed models. Genetic parameters revealed the presence of significant phenotypic variation for FA and NV. Low genotype × harvest and genotype × environment interactions indicated genotypic stability and potential for selecting improved accessions for FA and NV. Several plant introductions (PIs) were identified for their improved FA and NV. The application of N increased FA and CP concentration in all harvests but did not significantly impact phenotypic variation in other NV traits. Phenotypic data will be deposited in the Germplasm Resource Information Network (GRIN)‐Global database.

Comparison of Tetraploid Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) Populations Collected from Turkey and Former Soviet Countries

Tetraploid Medicago sativa L. subspecies; M. sativa subsp. sativa, M. sativa subsp. falcata and M. sativa subsp. varia form the primary gene pool of the alfalfa. The center of diversity for this subspecies is seen as the Caucasus, Northwest Iran and Northeast Turkey, and its natural range is the former Soviet Union and the southern border of North Africa as the northern border. Genetic diversity among the primary gene pool and comparisons between regions of diversity provides a good reference for breeders when utilizing genetic resources. The United States Department of Agriculture Genetic Resources Information Network (USDA-GRIN) System provides reference data from its entire natural range, including Turkey and the Former Soviet region. In this study, seven populations collected from Turkey and thirteen alfalfa populations collected from Former Soviet Countries held in the USDA GRIN System were evaluated using 20 SSR markers. Within the scope of the study, the information between the locations of the subspecies was compared to reveal the hierarchical population structure. The results obtained from the STRUCTURE and PCA analyzes show that the populations are clustered in two main groups for both countries, but there is a high similarity in hybrid genome contents in the subspecies belonging to the Former Soviet countries. In addition, it was determined by AMOVA analysis that the variance within the populations was higher than that between the populations according to the subspecies analyzed from both countries. It is thought that the results will be effective in terms of using alfalfa genetic resources of these countries in breeding programs.

Balanced Scheduling Method of Network Information Resources for Cloud Storage

In the network communication environment, the balanced scheduling of network information sharing resources can better improve the service quality of network communication. In the current network communication sharing resource balanced scheduling process, there are some problems, such as the completion time of resource scheduling is too long, the cost consumption is large, and so on. This paper proposes a balanced scheduling method of network information resources for cloud storage. By constructing the storage model of network communication shared resources, the network communication structure under big data is layered. Through the characteristic analysis of shared resource, equilibrium ratio is introduced to obtain the fitness function of network communication shared resources. The fitness function and convergence factor are used to solve the problem. The experimental results show that the network information resource balanced scheduling method for cloud storage needs shorter completion time and lower cost, which fully meets the research requirements.

Application of Fuzzy Clustering in Higher Education General Management Based on Internet Environment

General education is an important part of university education aiming at cultivating students’ comprehensive quality and sense of responsibility. As professional sports colleges and universities, higher sports colleges implement the curriculum reform of general education relatively late, and there is a problem of curriculum system construction in the process of implementing general education. The purpose of this paper is to research and discuss the application of general education management in higher education based on fuzzy cluster analysis in the Internet environment. This paper first discusses the teaching mode in the Internet environment and then analyzes the application of fuzzy cluster analysis in general education. Through fuzzy cluster analysis, the students’ understanding of general education before and after learning general education courses is compared, which paves the way for the promotion of general education in colleges and universities. Finally, this paper takes the general education curriculum system of higher physical education colleges as the research object and conducts fuzzy cluster analysis on it. The experimental results show that before studying general courses, 66.7% of the students hope to improve their language communication and expression skills, and 52.8% and 46% of the students hope to improve their practical ability and logical thinking ability. After receiving general education, only 23.5% of students have improved logical thinking ability, and only 13.7% of students have improved language communication and expression skills. The results show that general education does not meet the expectations of students, general education in higher physical education colleges is not effective, and the realization of general education needs to be further improved. To this end, schools can purchase network information resources, cooperate with well-known universities at home and abroad, develop general education courses with a global perspective, train students’ spirit of independent thinking, and master correct thinking methods.

How virtual reality technology and multimedia information can be commercialized.

Multimedia carries rich network information resources. Network information resources preservation can realize long-term access of information resources, which lays the foundation for multimedia information collection and long-term preservation. In order to better achieve the effect of media information processing, this paper studies the application method of virtual reality technology in multimedia information collection algorithm. The significance and process of multimedia information collection are different from network information resource collection, and the collection results are classified and processed to effectively realize multimedia information screening and ensure the effect of information collection and processing.

Dynamics and structure of youth preferences in the information space of the Republic of Crimea

The article actualises the issues of information security in the conditions of transformations of the media space in the regions of Russia (on the example of the Republic of Crimea). Attention is focused on the preferences of young people regarding the sources of obtaining and usage the information received. The main contours of preferences in the choice of information source are determined. The specificity of the choice of information sources typical for young people in the Republic of Crimea is shown. In addition to the Internet, an important source of information for regional youth is direct social contacts and personal communication. In the list of Internet sources, social network information resources have an advantage. It is proved that the information preferences of young people and older generations do not always coincide. For this purpose, the results of sociological studies conducted in 2018-2020 in the Republic of Crimea (before and during the coronavirus pandemic) are presented. Studies have shown that it is distance learning and self-isolation that are factors undermining the existing system of social relations, social subordination and social control. Particular attention is paid to the study of the manifestation of youth interest in information sources of extremist content. The gender and age structure of those interested in Internet sources of extremist content has been revealed. Despite the fact that the identified "risk groups" are relatively small, they significantly increase the likelihood of participating in various kinds of informal organisations, including those of a radical nature. The problem is exacerbated by the secrecy and vagueness of the existence of such groups that function in the information space as flexible and combinatorial social formations capable of rapid structural change and renewal. As the results of the research showed, the tendency of young people to “leave” into the virtual space was intensified by the factor of social isolation and the introduction of forms of distance learning, that contributed to the erosion of strong social ties and their replacement with weak ones (in accordance with the terminology of network analysis theory). It is shown that the state and society in the interests of ensuring internal stability and security, should, undoubtedly, must seriously take into account the processes of transformation of the media space, where a significant proportion of the activity of today's youth is transferred.
