Research on Hyperspectral Surface Reflectance Dataset of Typical Ore Concentration Area in Hami Remote Sensing Test Field

Abstract. Surface reflectance data is the basic data source for the hyperspectral parametric remote sensing products and remote sensing quantitative application, which is widely used in various application fields such as natural resources and ecological environment monitoring. At present, multispectral data takes the leading role among the common land surface reflectance datasets and the reflectance data mainly involves the types of ground objects such as farmland, forest land, water body, soil, etc., while the datasets relatively less targets the types of rock and mineral surface objects, yet especially the reflectance datasets with the combination of time series and multi-scale satellite-earth are even more scarce. In order to better promote the application of hyperspectral surface reflectance and explore the advantages of joint application of satellite-earth multi-scale reflectance data, on the basis of field-measured rock and mineral target spectral, a comprehensive surface reflectance dataset was generated by using domestically produced hyperspectral satellite data as the data source in this study, mainly focusing on the typical ore concentration area in the Hami Remote Sensing test field in Xinjiang. The dataset includes multi-period hyperspectral satellite surface reflectance images, field measured rock and mineral spectral data, and multi-period sub-pixel spectral data collected based on ground spectral measured points, which can provide significant support for the research and development and accuracy verification as well as performance evaluation of algorithms such as surface reflectance inversion, mineral identification and ground object classification.

Exploring Issues and Strategies of Rural Land Use and Environmental Protection

Land resources play a crucial role in the overall development of society, but the irrational exploitation and use of these resources have significant adverse effects on the natural ecological environment, which is detrimental to the effective construction of a harmonious society. There is an inseparable relationship between rural land use and ecological security, and in current rural land use practices, environmental protection issues are increasingly emphasized. In some rural areas, in pursuit of short-term economic benefits, the importance of environmental protection is often overlooked, leading to excessive development and use of land resources, posing a great threat to the sustainable development of rural society. The reduction of vegetation signifies a deterioration of the ecological environment, and soil erosion leads to a decrease in land resources and a decline in land productivity, while soil degradation directly affects the growth of crops and the income of farmers. Therefore, it is essential to integrate environmental protection concepts throughout the entire process of rural land use. In the development and utilization of land resources, environmental protection requirements must be fully considered, adopting scientific and reasonable planning and measures to ensure the full utilization of land resources and achieve sustainable development of rural society.

Enhancing Rural Revitalization Through Optimized Landscape Planning and Design: Insights from Beijing's Surrounding Villages

With the rapid economic development and the proposal of rural revitalization policies, the development of rural planning and construction has also received more and more attention, and the content of rural planning and construction practice is gradually expanding, but what follows is the integration of the regional cultural environment and the natural ecological environment is not high enough, and the phenomenon of disappearing village atmosphere, incomplete agricultural industrial chain, weakened functions, and incompatible ecological development has repeatedly occurred. Gradually, the village living environment has also been threatened, and the landscape planning and design of the rural living environment conveyed by different artistic modes and meanings has brought new opportunities for the realization of the rural revitalization strategy. This research takes the optimization of random forest algorithm as the core, and deeply explores the new ideas and methods of art mode and landscape planning and design of rural human settlements. This study mainly takes the surrounding villages of Beijing as an example and uses the moving window method to calculate the two-dimensional and three-dimensional landscape indices in this rural area. The multi-scale relationship of the living environment was analyzed. The power function fitting results of the window variation coefficient of the landscape index show that the optimal window size for studying the relationship between art patterns and three-dimensional landscape patterns is about 700 M.

Assessment of Ecotourism Environmental Carrying Capacity in the Qilian Mountains, Northwest China

Ecotourism is the main trend of global tourism development, and evaluating the ecotourism environmental carrying capacity (EECC) of ecologically fragile areas can provide a scientific basis for the sustainable development of regional tourism. This study uses the typical fragile mountain area, the Qilian Mountains (QLMs), as an example and analyzes the spatial and temporal changes in EECC by constructing an evaluation indicator system of EECC, which is based on the framework of “natural ecological environment support—socio-economic pressure—tourism activity pressure”. In the results, it is found that the natural ecological environment support, socio-economic pressure, and tourism activity pressure in the QLMs all present a spatial distribution pattern of higher in the southeast and lower in the northwest. From a temporal perspective, most of the indicators of different subsystems show an increasing trend. The whole area of EECC in the QLMs shows an increasing trend in 85.4% of the region, while the EECC in some areas in the southeastern and northern parts shows a decreasing trend. Comparing different time periods, it is found that the EECC in the whole region shows an increasing trend from 2000 to 2010, while the proportion of areas with a decreasing trend in EECC from 2010 to 2018 reaches 67.1%. The research results can provide a scientific basis for the sustainable development of ecotourism in the QLMs and other similar regions in the world, and they further contribute to the protection of the ecological environment.

Analysis of the Impact of Drought Characteristics Change on Natural Ecological Environment in the West of Hexi Corridor

The plant communities and wild animals in the Gobi desert outside the oases in the west of Hexi Corridor are an indispensable and important part of the human living environment. Affected by global warming, the spatial and temporal distribution patterns of precipitation have changed significantly. This article uses daily precipitation data from 6 hydro-logical stations in the middle and lower reaches of the Shule River Basin from 1957 to 2018, and daily precipitation data from 3 meteorological stations from 1980 to 2018. Through research on annual scale precipitation anomaly percentage, effective precipitation days and annual distribution, and drought station frequency ratio and other parameters, it is shown that there is a significant change in precipitation distribution within the year. The distribution of effective precipitation is not conducive to the survival of ecosystems, and seasonal drought is on the rise. The trend of continuous drought in two seasons and three seasons is on the rise, and the evolution of drought has a significant impact on the natural ecological environment. Effective rainfall is a key element in the rise and fall, distribution, and change of natural ecosystems. Studying the impact of changes in drought characteristics on natural ecology is of great significance for actively responding to drought disasters and maintaining basic ecology.

Overview of Marginal Lands in Henan Province, China and Evaluation of Development Potential of Biomass-To-Liquid Fuels

Developing marginal lands to plant energy crops and then develop biomass-to-liquid fuels is an effective way to ease the energy crisis, promote greenhouse gas emission reduction, and protect the natural ecological environment. Taking Henan Province, China as a research object, the research obtained spatial distributions and areas of marginal lands in the province by processing remote-sensing data for land use using software ArcGIS. Marginal lands in Henan Province were classified into the first-class, second-class, and third-class ones by selecting key natural conditions including the soil thickness, slope, soil texture (sand volume fraction), accumulated temperature above 10 °C, organic matter content, and total annual precipitation as indices. The research showed that the total area of marginal lands in the province is 1.68×104 km2, including 0.62×104 km2 of first-class marginal lands, 0.83×104 km2 of second-class marginal lands, and 0.23×104 km2 of third-class marginal lands. Taking production of bioethanol with sugar grass as an example, 8.92×107 t of sugar grass can be harvested on the marginal lands in Henan Province, which can be converted into 5.80×106 t of bioethanol, equivalent to 6.96×106 t of standard coal. The research can provide reference for realizing energy structure optimization and consolidating energy security in Henan Province.

Feasibility and effectiveness study of applying a hallucinogen harm reduction and integration model to a mindfulness thinking intervention using virtual reality: A randomized controlled trial.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether a virtual reality (VR) program designed and developed based on the hallucinogenic harm reduction and integration (PHRI) clinical model could be more effective in guiding positive thinking training, improving positive thinking awareness and ability, and, to some extent, facilitating personal efficacy and emotional state compared to a traditional VR program that places users in a virtual natural ecological environment to guide positive thinking training. We also sought to understand the factors that may influence the effectiveness of VR interventions and user experience. Seventy-six randomly recruited participants were divided into a control group and an experimental group of 38 participants, each according to a random number table, and were trained in VR meditation for eight weeks. The experimental group used a PHRI-based mindfulness program, while the control group used a traditional mindfulness meditation program. We used The Mindful Attention Awareness Scale and the PAD emotional three-dimensional scale to assess the level of state mindfulness and changes in the emotional state before and at the end of the experiment. The Immersive Tendencies Questionnaire measured the user's sense of presence and immersion in the virtual environment. The Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaires and the Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21) were used at the baseline assessment stage before and at the 4-week follow-up after the experiment to assess the change in trait mindfulness levels due to the mindfulness training. The Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaires and the DASS-21 were used to assess changes in mindfulness and mental health trait levels. At the end of the experiment, the MMSQ score was significantly lower in the control group than in the experimental group, while the ITQ score was significantly higher than in the experimental group, and both scores were statistically significant (p < 0.05). In the follow-up assessment four weeks after the end of the experiment, the FFMQ-15 score and the DASS-21 were significantly and statistically higher in the experimental group than in the control group (p < 0.05). Since the scores of the PAD scale did not obey a normal distribution, we used the Wilcoxon signed-rank test to assess the results, which proved that the experimental group had higher levels of emotional activation and arousal. The VR positive thinking program developed based on PHRI can significantly increase the positive thinking state and emotional arousal and activation of the general population participants but does not directly lead to the growth of positive emotions. Moreover, this detached psychedelic scene brings users a weaker sense of presence and presence than traditional natural space scenes. Furthermore, it does not bring any intense simulator motion sickness symptoms. These findings suggest that VR programs developed based on PHRI have a more positive facilitation effect on the positive state and that this increase lasts longer than conventional VR-positive programs.

Threats Faced by Red-crowned Cranes and Solutions

With the development of the times, more and more people are destroying the natural ecological environment and hunting wild animals for various purposes, such as social economic and agricultural development, personal desire for money and so on. One victim of human bad conduct is the red-crowned crane, as an example. Red-crowned cranes are now suffering from many threats that have led to a sharp decline in its population. If humans do not do something in time, the number of red-crowned cranes will gradually decrease until they become extinct. Therefore, this article will mainly focus on analyzing the threats faced by red-crowned cranes and the solutions that can help change the situation of red-crowned cranes which includes four threats and four solutions or methods that can help to protect the Whooping Crane. In order to better protect red-crowned cranes, increase their numbers, and safeguard some ecological environments while aiding red-crowned cranes, such as wetlands. This article is helpful for people to be able to understand the issues that red-crowned cranes face and to know the solutions.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A KNOWLEDGE SERVICE SYSTEM FOR GLOBAL LAND COVER SPATIOTEMPORAL CHANGE

Abstract. Global land cover (GLC) change reflect the distribution and evolution process of various material types on the earth's surface. It is an important basic data for global natural resources survey and ecological environment research. Although many sets of GLC information service systems have been developed at home and abroad, but the knowledge stock of GLC has not been sufficiently mined, problems such as the knowledge sharing service of spatiotemporal change of GLC have not been solved. This paper reports how to design and construct a GLC spatiotemporal change knowledge service system, which provides users with accurate and in-time knowledge services for GLC spatiotemporal change through knowledge visualization, browsing and querying, knowledge recommendation, knowledge diagnosis, knowledge sharing, process simulation, knowledge graph building and spatiotemporal deduction.

Significance of variation in wildlife red deer carcass yields

ABSTRACT Deer hunting has traditionally had great relevance due to the diversity of resources obtained from it, such as meat. Our aim has been to analyse the total post-mortem weight, dressed carcass weight and carcass yield, as well as their variations as a function of years, sex, age and hunting season (autumn vs. winter). Also, predictive equations for carcass weight from total weight were performed. A total of 947 red deer (Cervus elaphus hispanicus) of both sexes, hunted from 1989 to 1993 in the Quintos de Mora National Reserve, Spain, were analysed. Seasonal and interannual differences were detected in all weight measures and carcass yield, conditioned by sex, age and climatic factors such as temperature. In general, to obtain a higher meat yield deer extractions should be carried out in autumn. In addition, carcass weight variation (measured on cold carcasses dressed without head and feet, keeping skin, lateral diaphragm portions, fat deposits and legs) can be considered a good indicator of body condition that integrates seasonal nutritional gains and/or losses and long-term nutritional legacies. This index provides information on the animal's natural history and ecological environment conditions, making its standardized record an essential tool for monitoring wild game populations.

The dynamic evolution of an industrial innovation ecosystem: a case study of Around-Tongji Knowledge Economy Circle (Shanghai)

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyse the development and evolution of industrial innovation ecosystems of Around-Tongji Knowledge Economy Circle from the three levels mentioned above, focusing on knowledge-producing populations, core populations and service-supporting populations, and to further develop this research framework by combining with the latest developments. Design/methodology/approach Based on the five-helix theory and economic census statistical data, this paper adopts geographic information system technology and examines the characteristics of the industrial innovation ecosystem and the synergistic evolution process in Around-Tongji knowledge economy circle. Findings The knowledge product populations lead the development of industries in Around-Tongji Knowledge Economy Circle. It contributes political capital output for the government. It innovates community cooperation and governance mode, and it improves the natural ecological environment. In the face of the changes and challenges in the development environment, the future development must be recognised from the height of the iterative development of the interaction mode between university knowledge production and economic and social development. Originality/value Based on the five-helix theory and economic census statistical data, this paper examines the characteristics of the industrial innovation ecosystem and the synergistic evolution process in Around-Tongji Knowledge Economy Circle. It further expands the research framework used to develop a synergistic evolution model, which reveals the interactive and synergistic relationship among the populations and the evolution characteristics of the entire industrial innovation ecosystem. This paper also provides useful perspectives for the study of the industrial innovation ecosystem.

Effective removal of Cr(VI) in water by bulk-size polyaniline/polyvinyl alcohol/amyloid fibril composite beads.

With the rapid expansion of industrial activities, chromium ions are discharged into the environment and cause water and soil pollution of various extents, which seriously endangers the natural ecological environment and human health. In this study, polyaniline/polyvinyl alcohol/amyloid fibril (PANI/PVA/AFL) composite gel beads (PPA) were prepared from polyaniline and amyloid fibrils with HCl as doping acid and PVA as a cross-linking agent. The results showed that PPA was an irregular composite bead with a diameter of 6 mm. The adsorption of Cr(VI) on the PPA gel beads followed the pseudo-second-order kinetics model, suggesting that chemical reactions were the controlling step in the Cr(VI) adsorption process. Though the Redlich-Peterson isotherm model had the best fit for the adsorption data, the isothermal adsorption process can be simplified using the Langmuir model. The maximum adsorption capacity for Cr(VI) in water was 51.5 mg g-1, comparable to or even higher than some PANI-based nanomaterials. Thermodynamic parameters showed that the adsorption process was a spontaneous, endothermic, and entropy-increasing process. Microscopic analysis revealed that the capture of Cr(VI) on PPA was mainly governed by electrostatic attraction, reduction, and complexation reactions. PPA can be used as a kind of effective remediation agent to remove Cr(VI) in water.

Research on the evaluation of ecological environment quality based on Fuzzy and PCA-AHP

Since the natural ecological environment tends to change slowly and the indicators are easy to quantify in a graded manner, while the social ecological environment tends to change rapidly under the intervention of human production and life, and it is difficult to quantify with the same grading standard in different regions and at different times. Therefore, we propose a Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for the evaluation of the quality of natural ecological environment and a PCA-AHP comprehensive evaluation model for the evaluation of the quality of social ecological environment. Based on the hierarchical analysis method, 12 indicators were selected from five criteria levels, namely water and soil conservation, ecological stability, water conservation, soil improvement and air purification, and the affiliation degree of each indicator to the set of comments was calculated using the Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Taking the evaluation of ecological and environmental quality of 31 provincial regions in China as an example, 12 indicators were selected from three criterion levels, namely natural conditions, social economy and environmental pollution, and the combined weight values of each indicator were calculated using PCA and AHP, and the final ecological and environmental quality ranking of each province was obtained based on the data of each of the 31 provinces. The two experimental results were highly consistent with the actual expert evaluations, verifying the rationality of the Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and the PCA-AHP comprehensive evaluation model.

Ecosystem governance of rural water ecosystem services under sustainable utilization

Abstract Water resources not only threaten the physical health of rural residents but also affect their drinking water needs, causing certain damage to the rural water ecosystem services (WES) and threatening the coordinated development of the natural ecological environment. In response to issues such as outdated personnel awareness, severe WES waste, and low resource utilization in current WES governance, this article optimized and monitored relevant governance methods for the rural WES environment to improve the sustainable utilization of WES. This article analyzed the main types of WES and studied the monitoring and governance methods of WES governance. This article used the projection pursuit model to evaluate the governance methods of WES comprehensively and proposed corresponding strategies for optimal utilization to improve the utilization rate of WES. The WES utilization rate and rural sewage treatment capacity after optimization measures were higher than those before optimization measures. The utilization rate of WES after the optimization strategy was 15.4% higher than before, and the rural pollution treatment capacity was 17.8% higher than before the optimization strategy. Improving investment in water pollution technology and environmental infrastructure in rural areas is important and positive in improving rural WES governance and sustainable utilization.

The relationship between geological disasters with land use change, meteorological and hydrological factors: A case study of Neijiang City in Sichuan Province

Sichuan hilly area is located in southwest China, which have many hilly area, is a densely populated, economically active, frequent geological disasters area. In this paper, Neijiang City in the region is taken as the test sample. This article, which analyzes Land-Use and Land-Cover Changes (LUCC), meteorological and hydrological data from 2015 to 2020, takes Neijiang City in this region as the research object. We explored the relationship between geological disasters such as collapse and landslides that often occur in the natural ecological environment with LUCC and meteorological and hydrological factors, using GIS spatial analysis and statistical analysis methods. The research results indicate that geological disasters mainly occur in farmland areas. The density of geological disaster points is highest within urban areas, making them the most prone to geological disasters. Geological disasters are more densely distributed in the area within 600 to 800 m from the river. There is a strong correlation between the average rainfall amount and the probability of geological disasters occurring. This study provides a scientific basis for the geological disaster risk assessment, prevention and control in this region. It has certain reference significance for the ecological environment governance, land resources planning and management in other similar regions.

A Technique for Generating Preliminary Satellite Data to Evaluate SUHI Using Cloud Computing: A Case Study in Moscow, Russia

The expansion of construction zones, transportation, and utilities for industry and high-tech areas due to human activities has caused the deterioration of the natural ecological environment. As cities face problems related to the surface urban heat island (SUHI) effect and environmental pollution, there is an urgent need to develop new methods for the ecological–microclimatic assessment and structural–functional planning of urban areas. The main goal of this study was to demonstrate the evolution of the surface urban heat island (SUHI) effect in Moscow over a long period and to determine the interaction between SUHIs and urban pollution islands (UPIs) using a geospatial analysis platform while optimizing vegetation classification with machine learning. Additionally, we are creating a digital database for modeling the sustainability of cities on the GEE platform using cloud computing. This study used cloud computing and remote sensing image analysis platforms for a 17-year temporal-series ecological–microclimatic assessment, which provided a sequence of values describing the ongoing process of changes in the ecological conditions of Moscow over time. Combining machine learning with the random forest algorithm (RF) improved vegetation classification accuracy while reducing computation time. The study findings demonstrated how the SUHI affected Moscow’s territory and showed the urban areas significantly impacted by this phenomenon. The locations of surface urban heat islands in Moscow and areas affected by SUHI and UPI were identified using numerical modeling of the urban thermal field variance index (UTFVI). From the findings, we identified the need to develop a new method for obtaining geospatial data for assessing the interaction between UPIs and SUHIs using cloud computing and mathematical data models.

Discussion on the design of compensation standards for regional environmental pollution from the perspective of new structural economics

How to effectively protect the ecological environment while socio-economic development, to achieve the harmonious and sustainable development of human society and the natural ecological environment, has been paid more and more attention by governments and academic circles around the world. Therefore, the design of compensation standards for regional environmental pollution is proposed from the perspective of new structural economics. Based on the perspective of new structural economics, this paper provides a new explanation of the impact of fiscal decentralization on environmental pollution, according to the economic and technical indicators related to ecological environmental pollution, with the help of the subjective and objective empowerment method combined with the analysis of hierarchy method and entropy method, the weight of each ecological environment pollution evaluation index in the evaluation and division of ecological environmental pollution level is studied, and the comprehensive evaluation method is used to construct the ecological environment pollution technology rating evaluation model, and the compensation value of regional environmental pollution is finally obtained by combining the panel regression model. The method of this paper has wide applicability and significant advantages. The experimental results show that the COD emission of the North Water Source Area (QZ) of the Qingzhang River is 208t/a, and the upstream of the drinking water source area needs to compensate 3.88 million yuan downstream for water quality and water ecological restoration.

Optimization Design of Mountain and Water Landscape of Traditional Mountain Village Based on New Robot Visual Technology

The reasonable application of the random sampling consistent algorithm can be used to eliminate the theoretically possible error points and then complete the initial aiming pairing. The interior points obtained after this algorithm are used to estimate the relative adjacent poses of the new robot in the operation of the least squares method, so as to make certain improvements to the ICP (iterative closest point) algorithm, making it useful for accurate aiming pairing. Finally, by using the optimization method of G20, the posture of the new mobile robot relative to the adjacent position is optimized to a certain extent. In order to reasonably plan and design the landscape of mountain villages, this paper proposes the corresponding solution by analyzing the multidimensional value and landscape design data of traditional mountain villages, which not only needs to adapt to modern economic development but also needs to live in harmony with the natural ecological environment. Taking a village as a case for analysis, the village houses, roads, services, greening, ecology, and other aspects were reconstructed, and then, the detailed landscape design of the multimedia multidimensional resource village was analyzed and implemented.

Since the 21st century, the progress of electromechanical and vehicle engineering technology has promoted the prosperous development of social economy, accelerated the construction of transportation infrastructure, and also had a profound impact on the natural ecological environment. During the course of rapid technological development, lots of related technologies and products have been produced, achieving fruitful academic results and application transformation.Under such background, the 2022 2nd International Conference on Smart Transportation, Energy and Power (STEP 2022) was held on December 16th-18th, 2022 in Sanya, China (virtual conference). STEP 2022, a leading academic platform, provided an opportunity for academic communication and scientific innovation, promoted the industrial cooperation of academic achievements, and facilitated the collaboration in the future among all the participants.The scope of the conference covered all fields of research in smart transportation, energy and power, including Intelligent transportation, Wisdom logistics, Energy engineering, Power and Automation, Electrical Engineering, The Smart Grid, The Power System, etc. The conference brought together about 100 participants, primarily from China, but also from Singapore, Germany, Australia and other countries.A three-day program of the conference was divided into three sessions, including keynote speeches, oral presentations, and academic investigation. Each keynote speaker was given 30-40 minutes for keynote speeches and every presenter was given 10-15 minutes. Among them, Prof. Wei Wei from Xi’an University of Technology, China performed a keynote speech: Based on IoTs Parking Navigation with Continuous Information Potential Field research. As Internet of Things (IoTs) are increasingly being deployed in some important applications, it becomes imperative that we consider application requirements in in-network processes. He intended to use a WSN to aid information querying and navigation within a dynamic and real-time environment. He proposed a novel method that relies on the heat diffusion equation to finish the navigation process conveniently and easily, used multiple scales to reach the goal of accurate navigation and presented a multi-scale gradient descent method to satisfy users’ requirements in WSNs. The insightful speeches of each keynote speakers triggered heated and interesting discussions and a good number of informal talks between all the participants.We would like to thank all the participants in the 2022 2nd International Conference on Smart Transportation, Energy and Power.
