This investigation was performed to the middle aged men who took part in dance sport to grasp the motive patterns of the men who participated in dance sport and to analyze the influence that cause the intention factors and satisfaction of the participation. This investigation was performed to 120 middle aged men who took part in dance sport from 40`s to 59 years in Chung nam province, and the amount of 105 men`s surveys was applicated to the consequence of this analysis, excepting the unfaithful answering. For the consequence of analysis, the SPSS 23.0 program was applicated, the frequency analysis, explora factor analysis, reliability analysis were applicated and the correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were also applicated to find the intention factors of the participation and satisfaction of the participation by the patterns of the participation motivation. As the analysis result, First, it was showed the external motive was higher than the internal motive to middle aged men who participate in dance sport. Next by the consequence of the analysis, about the social satisfaction, statistically, only the external motivation influenced them, but in psychological, physical, educational satisfaction, both the external motive and the internal motive influenced them. Consequentially, in psychological satisfaction, internal motive influenced them(544.%) more than the external motive(32.7%) did. However, in social satisfaction, physical satisfaction, educational satisfaction, the external motivation(60.3%, 42.5%, 41.0%) influenced them more than the internal motive(12.6%) did. Last, by the analysis result, the effect of the motive patterns to the intention factors, among the strengthing and the possibility, only the external motivation influenced them and in the tendency, both the external motive and the internal motive influenced them; external motive(49.1%) was higher than he internal motive(34.3%). This result shows that the middle aged men who has been taking part in dance sport now show even higher tendency, compared with the internal motive. Also, it is judged that the external motive was more influenced in the satisfaction of the participation and the intention factors of the participation of middle aged men in dance sport.
