DEVELOPING NAHMA (NAHWU MATCHING) FOR BASIC NAHWU LEARNING GAME: A NEED ASSESSMENT STUDY

In this epidemic era, teachers are expected to build a successful learning environment in conjunction with online learning. Basic nahwu learning is one of the lessons affected by the pandemic situation. Learning the Arabic language system is increasingly difficult to do online because the Arabic language system is very different from Indonesian, as the learners' mother language. The presentation of linguistic rules clearly cannot be done directly. Educators are responsible for innovating nahwu learning through the unity-based Nahma educational game "Nahwu Matching" so that learners can easily understand and avoid boredom during the full online learning. The use of educational games is the right solution to overcome this problem. The aims of this study are: (1) to find out the needs of lecturers and students, (2) to describe the prototype picture of the Nahma. The data of this study were obtained through test and non-test data. The tool of the test is a written test while tools of the non-test data are interviews, observations, and questionnaires on the needs of lecturers and students. Based on the findings, it can be stated that both students and teachers require engaging learning applications for Nahwu that can successfully assist the learning process.

Implementation of Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) in Nahwu Learning: Identification of Student Ability Characteristics

Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) is used as a learning method that treats differences in student abilities; this is considered appropriate for Nahwu learning. The purpose of this study is to elaborate on Nahwu's learning activities using Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) through the involvement of lecturers and students. This study uses a qualitative approach; the participants are non-Arabic speaking Nahwu students in Indonesia, totaling 40 students. Data collection techniques are using observation, structured interviews, and using questionnaires. The results showed that there were implications for the use of Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) in learning motivation, as indicated by an increase in scores on the evaluation of students' Nahwu understanding abilities and perceptions that showed a good assessment of this method. The recommendation of this research is the preparation of teaching materials based on Aptitude Treatment Interaction (ATI) for Nahwu learning that can be done at universities in Indonesia.

LEARNING NAHWU FOR ARABIC STUDENTS IN ISLAMIC COLLEGES: EXPERTS' PERSPECTIVES / تعليم النحو لطلاب تخصصات اللغة العربية فى الجامعات الإسلامية من وجهة نظر الخبراء

This study aims to find out experts’ point of view about the reality of Nahwu learning by Arabic students in Islamic Colleges. Qualitative method was used in this research. The data were collected by interviewing several experts in Arabic language. Results showed that the purpose of Nahwu learning is not only to have the ability in understanding nahwu, but also to apply it in Arabic texts and to communicate; the characteristics of nahwu materials should be easy, simple, realistic, communicative, in stages, cognitive and functional; the method of learning is group work, peer learning, integrative texts, active learning, and communicative method; the media for learning are audio, visual, and audio visual; evaluation is done by implementing nahwu rules to construct and transform sentences, giving syakl on texts, and explaining the position of words in sentences. According to the experts, the ideal nahwu learning will help students to develop the four language skills.

Al-Ittijāhāt al-Jadīdah fi Ta'līm al-Nahwi fi Indonesia: Dirāsah Tahlīliyyah li al-Muallafāt al-Mukhtaṣarah li Qirāah al-Kutub

This research based on the phenomenon of the publishing various kinds of fast methods to reading the yellow book in Indonesia since the 2000s. This phenomenon is considered as a reaction to the difficulty of learning nahwu and practicing it in reading the yellow book. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The data were taken from 7 (seven) books on the fast method to reading the yellow book, which were published from 2001 to d. 2018 namely: al-'Arabiyyah li Gair al-Arab, al-Mu'allim Method in Sharaf and Nahwu, Ibtida'i, Amtsilati, Book of Method 33, al-Miftah li al-'Ulum, and Manhaji. The analytical method used is content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the book method of reading the yellow book (kitab bald) is oriented to 5 (five) competencies, namely: reading skills (loud and silent), understanding Arabic Grammar (theoretical and practical), I'rab, understanding of the Qur'an. , and writing skills (guided, free and dictation). Thus the orientation of nahwu learning has been renewed with the existence of writing skills in al-'Arabiyyah li Gair al-Arab and nahwu learning to understand the Qur'an in Amtsilati and Manhaji.

Tahl?l al-Jumlah al-Mu’robah f? al-Qur’?ni S?roti Maryam wa Tathb?quh? f? Ta’l?mi ‘Ilmi an-Nahwi

This research aims to describe the Jumlah Mu’robah contained in the Qur'an surah Maryam, to classify the Jumlah Mu’robah in the al-Qur'an surah Maryam, and to find out the implications of the Jumlah Mu’robah on nahwu learning material. This research used a qualitative research design by implementing a library type of research. The date were collected through documentation techniques. The data in this study is the Jumlah Mu’robah contained in Surah Maryam. The result of this study showed that there 178 Jumlah Mu’robah found in the surah maryam, consisting of 10 Jumlah ismiyah, 116 Jumlah fi'liyah, and 48 Jumlah nasikhah (21 from kaana wa akhwatuha; and 27 from inna wa akhwatuha 21), and 4 were Jumlah haliyah. The result of this study can used as reference for other research having similar research context.

Namāẓij Ta’līm an-Naḥwi fī Ma’had Nūr al-Qur’ān litaḥfīẓ al-Qur’ān Magelang Jāwā al-Wusṭā

This article focused on studying the dynamic nahwu learning curriculum developed by Nurul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School for Tahfidz (PPNQ) Jumoyo Salam, Magelang, Central Java. It aimed at describing nahwu learning in the pesantren, focusing on memorizing the Qur'an. The method used was participatory, done by being directly involved in the learning at PPNQ, starting from the design of learning, students placement, building classes, and deciding the books used. Data were collected through observation, limited discussion, and interviews with the teachers, students, and administrators. The study found that the learning dynamics are developed in this pesantren because the curriculum is not yet stable. The dynamics are in the form of students' obligation to present on each subject (book) taught and to memorize at another time. The fact is different from the eras before this dynamic development. It is very interesting considering that the Islamic Boarding School for Tahfidz is known as a pesantren that firmly adheres to the principle of maintaining a tradition that has been going on for decades. Therefore, dynamic observations are also needed regarding subsequent developments.

استخدام كتاب القصص النحوي لترقية سيطرة الطلاب على النحو

Base on the observation at the Bustanul Jannah Junior High school the writer found that the majoring of student of Bustanul Jannah have low level of competance in Nahwu, they are not able to comprehend qawaidNahwu, and to apply it correctly when reading an arabic text. This is because the teachers do not use a correct and interesting text book in the techingnahwu. Therefore, The recearcher chose the title The Use of “Qashas An-Nahwi” book to improve Arabic grammatial skills for student (experimental study at Bustanul Jannah Junior High School Nagan Raya). The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiviness of using “Qhasas An-Nahwi text book to improve students ability of Nahwu, and to find out of student response of using Qashas An-Nahwi text book to improve their ability in Nahwu. This research use a qualitative approach to the type of experimental study, the population of this reseach was all students academic year 2019-2020 at Bustanul Jannah Junior high School they were 84 student. The sample of this research was 20 students from the population who were chosen randomly. The instrument used in this research were test (pre-test and pos-test) and questionnaire. Base on result of the research it was faound that Nahwu learning process by using Qhasas An Nahwi text book effective to improve student ability in Nahwu because the researcher foun that the result of calculation is large than the result of of T-Table (2,09<9,37>2,87), and that students response to the Nahwu learning process by using Qhasas An Nahwi text book is positive base on the data obtained in the student response table whith a percentage of 93,56% positive and 6,44% negative.

Implementation of Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) Learning Methods to Improve Nahwu Learning Outcomes for Class 4 Students at KMI Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Boarding School for Girls

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) method in improving the learning outcomes of Naḥwu for KMI Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor Students. The research subjects were students of KMI class 4E. This research uses classroom action research (CAR) with Kemmis and McTaggart models. The research was conducted in three cycles, and each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed that the application of theStudent Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) method couldimprove the learning outcomes of Naḥwu students of Kulliyyatu l-Mu'allimat Al-Islamiyah (KMI) Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor for Girls campus onethe academic year 1440-1441 H. Although there was a decline at the cycle stage 2 after being developed and improved again, the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) method can significantly increase the value of student learning outcomes. It can increase student activity in the learning process. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average of 85, in the second cycle with an average of 83.1, and in the third cycle with an average of 90.45. These results indicate that the average cycle I to cycle II decreased and increased after the third cycle was held.

 Abstrak
 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas metode Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Naḥwu pada Siswi KMI Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. Subjek penelitian adalah siswi KMI kelas 4E. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Naḥwu siswi Kulliyyatu-l-Mu’allimat Al-Islamiyah (KMI) Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Putri kampus 1 tahun ajaran 1440-1441 H. Meskipun terjadi penurunan pada tahap siklus 2 namun setelah dikembangkan dan diperbaiki kembali metode Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) dapat meningkatkan secara signifikan nilai hasil belajar siswa dan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil belajar siswi pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 85, pada siklus II dengan rata-rata 83,1, dan pada siklus III dengan rata-rata 90,45. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa rata-rata siklus I ke siklus II menurun, dan setelah diadakan siklus III mengalami peningkatan.

STUDI PERBANDINGAN METODE MUBĀSYARAH DENGAN METODE HERBARTH PADA HASIL PEMBELAJARAN NAḤWU

<p><em>Based on the observations of the researchers, in learning Arabic, especially in the Naḥwu subject, the use of the lecture method, the rule and translation method, and the reading method were, in fact, less effective looking at the mid-semester exam results, the average student got a low score below the average. On average, on that basis, the researcher will offer a Mubāsyarah Method and the Herbarth Method to have experimented with the intent and purpose of improving student learning outcomes in the Naḥwu class II KMI learning outcomes at the Darul Huffadh Tuju-Tuju Islamic Boarding School, Kajuara Bone. The type of research in this scientific paper is quantitative research with an experimental research model. In this study, the researcher is a teacher directly supervised by one of the nahwu Pondok subject teachers. So in this research, the researcher applies the mubāsyarah method first and then the herbārth method in naḥwu learning. The method of collecting data is by testing, observing, and documenting using XL Microsoft in finding the average value</em><em>. </em><em>Based on the results of the recap of the average values of the classes (II B & II C), it was concluded that the herbārth method was more effective after being compared to the results of the mubāsyarah method with the average results of the mubāsyarah method in class II B 7.2 and II C 6 and the herbārth method II B 8.6 and II C 7.7.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: Mubāsyarah Method, Herbārth Method, Nahwu Learning.</em></strong><em></em></p>

Nahwu Learning at Darul Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School Mandailing Natal

The researcher chose this topic because in the first observation, the researcher found that the teacher only used one method, and many students were skilled at reading books, and some graduates were able to study in the Middle East, from the results of teaching grammar.how is nahwu learning at the Darul Ikhlas Dalan Islamic boarding school Leading Mandaeling Natal? The purpose of this research is to reveal the teaching of grammar in terms of the objectives, materials, methods and means of teaching nahwu and its evaluation. This research Is based on field research using a descriptive methodology. The tools to collect i formation are observation, interviews and documentation. After researched about teaching grammar in this institution, he concluded that the purpose of teaching grammar in this institution is fo rstudents to be able to read and translate Arabic texts. And able to parse correct Arabic sentences. The grammar teaching material in semester 2 at Darul Ikhlas Islamic boarding schoo lDalan Lidang Mandaling Natel is very short written by Mr. Ahmed Zainy Dahlan consisting of speech, syntax, knowing the signs, nominative nouns, accusative nouns, and subjunctive nouns. The method of teaching grammar at the Darul Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School Leading Mandailing Nattal is the standard method. Pengembangan Buku Ajar Nahwu Tsimarul Janiyah Berbasis Mind Mapping Untuk Meningkatkan Qawaid Santri TPQ Nurul Hikmah Tanggan Sragen

Teaching Arabic in madrasa education institutions is faced with several problems. Among them, students are less interested in understanding grammar, especially foreign languages, namely nahwu because Nahwu has too many vocabularies, even the number reaches more than 12 million words. This study aims to make it easier for students to learn the nahwu tsimarul janiyah book. This study uses a 4-D model by Thiagarajan. data collection resulted by observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, documentation. The results of the validation of learning media from material experts show the number 93.3% and the validation from design experts shows the number 98.3%. Based on this, the qualifications of the media developed are very valid. The results of the instructional media design carried out by the researcher showed that learning using the mind mapping-based learning media of Nahwu Tsimarul Janiyah textbook in Nahwu learning was effective. This is evidenced by the sig value. (2 tailed) from Pretest and Postest is 0.00, the value of sig. <0.05 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, so there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest.

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Nahwu Berbasis Macromedia Flash 8 Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Santri

Nahwu is a science that studies the rules of the Arabic language. Nahwu is the main lesson in pesantren education. One of pesantrens is Al-Muhajirin 1 Jombang Islamic boarding school, the students are required to master the nahwu lessons. Based on the results of observations and interviews, the researcher concluded that students' understanding of the nahwu was low, for example in the i'rob chapter, some students were not able to memorize the divisions and signs of i'rob. This is because the learning media used is only a blackboard, so students feel bored during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine how the development of nahwu learning media based on macromedia flash 8 to improve the learning outcomes of students at Pondok Al-Muhajirin 1 class 1 and to find out the effectiveness of these learning media. This study uses the ADDIE model of research and development (R&D) method. The data collection technique was done by observing, interviewing and testing. The results of the validation of material experts reached 100% and media design experts 95%, indicating that this learning media reached a very decent level. Based on the results of the test (T) with the Paired Sample T Test, the value of T test 15,575 and T table 2,845 indicates the value of T Test> T Table. Then the hypothesis (H0) is rejected and (H1) is accepted, then the conclusion is that the use of nahwu learning media based on macromedia flash 8 is effective in improving student learning outcomes

Taṭwīr Kitāb al-Madrasīy Buku Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Kelas V Kurikulum 2013 Bi al-Wasāil al-Sam`iyyah al-Bashariyyah `Alā Fahm al-Qawa`id al-Nahwiyyah Bi al-Madrasah al-Ibtidāiyyah al-Islāmiyyah al-Ahliyyah Cendekia Darussalam

Textbooks are the main media used by teachers and students in instructional process. Therefore, the qawaid nahwu learning book that are unstructured, general and not equipped with various examples, it will make students feel bored and do not understand about the qawaid nahwu. In this study, the researcher was developing an Arabic learning book for grade five in 2013 curriculum by using audio-visual media. This research was designed to find out how to develop Arabic learning books for grade five in 2013 curriculum using audio-visual media and how to determine the effectiveness of Arabic learning books for grade five in 2013 curriculum by using audio-visual media. Furthermore, the Research and Development model by Borg and Gall was conducted in this study as research method. Data collection consisted of interviews, questionnaires and tests. In addition, the participants in this study were 280 students as population, and the students in all grade five insists of 25 students were taken as sample. according to the results, the researcher found that book development has been carried out through 10 stages: Potential and problems, gathering information, product design, design validation in this the value of the first expert was 78 % and the second expert was 77 % it showed that this bool agrees to be used learning qawaid nahwiyah, design improvement, product testing, product revision, usage testing, product revision and mass product manufacturing . meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness test using the t test showed that the t count was greater than the t table, namely 4.1 based on a significance level of 5% 2.06 and 1% 2.80.

The using Google Meet as a new platform for the learning process and the obstacles for teachers and students when using it.This research aims to discover: 1) Learning process of Nahwu Study via Google Meet in Ma’had Khadimul Haramain Asy-Syarifain Banda Aceh. 2) Problems faced by teachers and students in learning Nahwu Study via Google Meet in Ma’had Khadimul Haramain Asy-Syarifain Banda Aceh. This research is of analytical descriptive type. Samples of this research are 56 girl students from Akhwat class. The research methods employed are direct observation and interviews. The results of this research are: 1) Learning process of Nahwu Study in Ma’had Khadimul Haramain Asy-Syarifain Banda Aceh implement the direct method, lecturing method, reading method, question-and-answer, and deductive method, which means Nahwu learning method by explaining the rules first followed by examples. Teachers also utilize Power Point to explain I’rab materials, Microsoft Word as a whiteboard, Google to search for sources for pictures of difficult Mufradat, and a PDF book of Arabic language as the source materials of Nahwu Study. However, problems faced by teachers in teaching Nahwu via Google Meet are: 1) Internet connection 2) difficulty in supervising students 3) passive students 4) difficulty in evaluating the study. Furthermore, problems faces by students in learning Nahwu via Google Meet are : 1) internet connection 2) internet quota 3) lack of learning focus 4) lack of learning spirit 5) difficulty in understanding the lessons 6) too many students in one class.

Implementasi Metode Mind Mapping dengan Menggunakan Media Power Point dalam Pembelajaran Nahwu

This reseacrh aims to describe the process and how to implement mind mapping methods using power point media in nahwu learning in third semester students of Arabic education at the Bani Fatah Islamic Institute in Jombang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using observation and documentation research instruments. The subject and object of research are the third semester students of Arabic education. The results of the reseacrh are as follows: First, the learning process of nahwu by implementing the mind mapping method using power point media is very active with indicators in the form of: a) Students prepare and present learning material with mind mapping created with power point media. b) Discuss between groups after presentation. c) Design learning material with mind mapping using power point media. d) Present the results in sequence. e) Lecturers reflect on learning by involving students. Second, how to implement it as follows: a) The lecturer prepares the material and the projector. b) The lecturer conveys the learning objectives. c) Students and teachers do questions and answers. d) Students are divided into five groups. e) Students present their mind mapping results using power points systematically. f) The lecturer guides the discussion. g) Lecturers appreciate and correct the results of student mind mapping. h) The lecturer explains and summarizes the materials that have been presented by students.

Aktualisasi Penggunaan Metode dan Pengembangan Materi Nahwu di Pondok Pesantren Salafi Al-Fathaniyyah Serang

The background of the problem of the number of students studying Nahwu material shows that the Nahwu learning method tends to memorize the Nazham verse and the development of Nahwu material which tends to be traditional and editorial which is not functional and not contextual. This study aims to make an inventory of the Nahwu learning method developed at the Al-Fathaniyyah Islamic boarding school in Serang and the development of the Nahwu material developed at the Al-Fathaniyyah Islamic boarding school in Serang. Identifying the Nahwu learning method used by the Nahwu instructor and the development of the Nahwu. a Nahwu learning material developed in the classroom for students at the Al-Fathaniyah Islamic boarding school. This research methodology used an expository survey approach. This approach is carried out to describe the Nahwu learning method used by Nahwu instructors at the Al-Fathaniyyah Islamic boarding school and the development of Nahwu material that is conveyed to students in receiving Nahwu material which can be meaningful to students and teacher. Data collection techniques were obtained from interviews and observations of researchers in the field. The results of the study found that the Nahwu learning method in the process of delivering the Nahwu material is the al-tharîqah al-qiyâsiyyah method (deductive method). The process of presenting Nahwu material with the books studied at the Al-Fathaniyyah Islamic boarding school includes Jurûmiyyah, Matan Binâ, Mutammimah, 'Awâmil, and Matan Alfiyyah. The Nahwu first, then followed by examples that can clarify the rules that have been learned. Meanwhile, the development of Nahwu material as the "substance" of Arabic. The Nahwu material that was studied was passed through memorizing the verses of the Nahwu rules, starting from the book Imrithî to Ibn Malik's Alfiyyah, which was still quite dominant, and the orientation of Qawa'id learning still tended to be traditional and reduction, not functional and not contextual.

Nahwu Learning for Madrasah Tsanawiyah Students at Islamic Boarding Schools

Nahwu science is a science that is not easy to understand and is one of the branches of science that studies the rules of the Arabic language. As well as Arabic literature is needed to make it easier to learn the science of nahwu. However, there are shortcomings in learning that is applied to formal education, both schools and Islamic boarding schools, causing understanding that is not optimal. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a method in learning Nahwu Science. This research was conducted at the Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Abbas As-Salafy Beku, Keliwonan, Masaran, Sragen, Central Java. It has a fairly good quality in the science of nahwu. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data analysis used in this research are observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the study revealed the findings that the learning of Nahwu by the students of Madrasah Ibn Abbas As-Salafy Sragen with the istimbad research method in Arabic was considered more effective. And applying the rules of Arabic by using Arabic everyday makes the students of Madrasah Ibn Abbas As-Salafy Sragen better understand. the method used is through the istimbad learning method and the results of the Nahwu learning.

Eksperimentasi Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam Pembelajaran Nahwu di Kelas X SMA

This study aims to find out how the application of the problem based learning (PBL), and the learning outcomes of Nahwu students; and to know the effect of the problem based learning model on Nahwu results at Wahid Hasyim Sleman High School. This type of research is Experimental Research with comparative data. The subject of this research is class X Mipa 1 as an experimental class and class X IPS as a control class. The results of this study indicate that the average experimental class students before applying the PBL learning model is 74. While the average control class students before being given treatment is 72. The average experimental class students after applying the PBL is 85, and the average control class after being given a treatment of 74. From the results of the T test analysis obtained a significance value of 0,000. That is, the PBL is influential in improving student Nahwu learning outcomes. This shows that the class given a PBL model on average is bigger than the class applied in the conventional learning model. The difference is significant. That is, the PBL model is influential in improving the learning outcomes of Nahwu.

Recitation: An Alternative Method For Virtual Nahwu Learning

This research is based on the learning state that requires maximum learning even during the pandemic. The researchers assume that the recitation method in virtual nahwu learning can be used to overcome this problem. Then the researchers conducted an initial study, observation, and conducted experiments in a particular class. With observation, the researchers can examine the implementation of virtual nahwu learning. Whereas with experiments, the researchers found that this method is very relevant and could be an option for virtual nahwu learning at STAI Attanwir. It is evidenced by the results of the experimental class's average values before using this method were 67.94 (experimental) and 66.93 (control). After applying the learning method, it was found that the average value was 85.2 for the experimental group and 74.7 for the control group. This result is helpful as an illustration of the virtual Nahwu learning method and a reference for future researchers.

The Students' Perspective Towards YouTube as the Replacement of Lecturer in Nahwu Learning

The existence of YouTube social media as a medium to support the Arabic learning process has been widely discussed by researchers. However, the existence of this media has the potential for misunderstanding of educators in implementing YouTube as a substitute for the role of educators in the learning process. This article aims to explore students' perspectives regarding the phenomenon of misunderstanding in Nahwu science learning and recommendations so that the lecture process can run effectively. Narrative approach was used in this research. The research data were obtained from interviews with 32 students from various districts in Central Kalimantan Province. From the results of the study, it was found that students gave positive and negative perceptions about Nahwu science learning using the YouTube media. However, negative perceptions dominate more with various expressions of disappointment from students. The students definitely felt aggrieved by the implementation of the Nahwu lecture which was limited to using the YouTube media without being accompanied by further explanations from the lecturers who taught the Nahwu course. Students recommend lecturers to be more involved in the Nahwu lecture process rather than simply sharing video material that is already available on YouTube media.
