The article discusses the features of teaching multimedia to environmental designers as part of training sessions. A brief review of sources was carried out, attention was paid to the definition of the concept of multimedia in the context of the study. Special applications and programmes for the development of multimedia materials used in educational practice are indicated, their capabilities are defined. The main problems in multimedia training of environ mental designers are considered. The authors present the methodological components of the educational process, aimed at the formation of skills in the development and use of multimedia technologies by students, including in the design of the interior and exterior environment. The article discloses the issues of the development of knowledge and skills of students necessary for the creation of professional presentations of their research and creative works, as well as the presentation of copyright projects in the form of a virtual space. Ways to solve the stated problem are proposed.
