Analysis of the Financial Capabilities and Performance of Local Goverments in Muaro Jambi District

This study aims to analyze the Financial Capability and Financial Performance of Regional Governments in Muaro Jambi Regency using the Financial Capability Index, Permendagri Number 62 of 2017, Independence Ratio, Fiscal Decentralization Degree Ratio, Effectiveness Ratio, Activity Ratio, and Regional Expenditure Compatibility Ratio. The results of this study indicate that the value of the Financial Capability Index of the Muaro Jambi Regency Government is in the medium category. According to Permendagri Number 62 of 2017, it is included in the low criteria. The Independence Ratio is in the very low category. The Fiscal Decentralization Degree Ratio is in the low category. The Effectiveness Ratio is in the highly effective category. Then the Activity Ratio shows that the Government allocates more funds for Apparatus Expenditure than Public Expenditure. The Regional Expenditure Compatibility Ratio shows that the government allocates more funds to Direct Expenditure.

Yield Gaps and Factors Affecting Production Inefficiency in Smallholder Oil Palm Plantations in Muaro Jambi District Jambi Province

Abstract Oil palm plantations in Indonesia, including in Jambi Province, are categorized into large private plantation, state-owned plantation, and smallholder plantation. The productivity of smallholders is the lowest compared to the other 2 categories. At the district and sub-district level, the yield of smallholder oil palm is also vary, spreading from 1,675 to 6,680 kg CPO per ha per year. The large yield variation is inseparable from the plantation management among farmers. The objectives of this research are to study the yield gap and technical efficiency of production among smallholders, and to analyze the factors that affect the technical production inefficiency in smallholder oil palm plantation. The research was conducted in Muaro Jambi District as a main palm oil producing district in Jambi Province. Data was collected from a sampel of 120 independent smallholders. One way anova test was used to study the yield gap and double natural log (ln) of Cobb–Douglas stochastic frontier production function was used to analyze the technical efficiency and some factors affects its inefficiency. The results revealed that there were significant differences in yield among smallholders based on area size, level of education, and activeness in the farmer organizations. However, on average, the management of oil palm by independent smallholders is quite technically efficient. The factor that significantly affects the level of technical inefficiency are the size of the area and farmers’ level of education.

Analisis Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Kinerja Aparat Desa Melalui Perilaku Inovatif sebagai Variabel Intervening di Kecamatan Sekernan Muaro Jambi

Research This study aims to examine the effect of transformational leadership on agency performance. The aim of this research is to explain and analyze the effect of transformational leadership style on the performance of village officials through innovative behavior in Sekernan Muaro Jambi District. The population of this research is the village government in 15 villages in Sekernan Muaro Jambi district. The sample size used was 105 respondents with a purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is path analysis using the SmartPLS approach. The research results show that (1). Transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on innovative behavior (2). Innovative behavior has a positive and significant effect on the performance of village officials (3). Transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the performance of village officials, and (4) Transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the performance of village officials through innovative behavior as an intervening variable

The Role of Parents in Developing Intrapersonal Intelligence in Early Age Children 5-6 years in Nyogan Village, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province

This research aims to examine the role of parents in developing the intrapersonal intelligence of young children aged 5-6 years in Nyogan village, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi Province. Intrapersonal intelligence in this research is being able to understand himself well, including his strengths and weaknesses, easily accepting input and even criticism of himself, knowing what he wants and having ideals. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, meaning that the work steps to describe an object, phenomenon or social setting are contained in narrative writing . The subjects of this research were parents and children aged 5-6 years. The object of research is the intrapersonal intelligence of early childhood 5-6 years old. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are 1) parenting patterns in Nyogan village, Muaro Jambi Regency are in various ways ranging from authoritarian, democratic and permissive patterns 2). Intrapersonal Intelligence of Early Childhood in Nyogan Village, Muaro Jambi Regency It is an intelligence that is not permanent so that its development is not as easy as intellectual intelligence, because intrapersonal intelligence is an intelligence that changes, sometimes experiencing increases but not infrequently also experiencing decreases. 3) the role of parents in developing the intrapersonal intelligence of young children aged 5-6 years in Nyogan Village, Muaro Jambi district is by spending time with children, opening their eyes, hearts and ears to children, will make children trust their parents and make parents their only ones. the only place where children pour everything out.

Penentu Industri Kecil Unggulan Dikabupaten Muaro Jambi Menggunakan Metode Simple Additive Weghting (SAW)

Small and Medium Industries (IKM) have an important role in economic development. Muaro Jambi Regency is one of the districts in Jambi Province whose people are engaged in small and medium industrial businesses (IKM). This is inseparable from the important role of the Muaro Jambi Regency Government in supporting the development of small and medium industries (IKM). SMEs in Muaro Jambi Regency are grouped into 5 groups, namely craft SMEs, chemical and building materials SMEs, metal and electronics SMEs, food SMEs, and clothing SMEs. Of these 5 groups, it is necessary to know which group of IKM is growing widely both in terms of the number of IKM, number of workers, investment value and production value. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze which small and medium industrial groups (IKM) are superior in Muaro Jambi district and help simplify the process of selecting superior SMEs in Muaro Jambi district. The analytical model used to determine priorities for leading small and medium industries in Muaro Jambi district is the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) model. The SAW model is used to formulate a weighted sum of priorities for the performance ranking of each alternative on all attributes, while the system design method uses the System Prototyping method. The result of this research is the SPK system with the SAW model which shows that the leading small and medium industries in Muaro Jambi district selected based on predetermined criteria are the Chemical and Building Materials industry with a total of 0.813

 Forest and land fires (Karhutla) have received great attention because of their large impact on the environment. Fire contributes to deforestation rates, habitat loss & species extinction, as well as greenhouse gas emissions. Jambi is the smallest province of the provinces in Sumatra which is a land and forest fire-prone area compared to the provinces of Riau and South Sumatra. This study examines the dynamics of karhutla disaster mitigation communication between the government and the community in Muaro Jambi district, Jambi Province, which is the district with the most high level of karhutla. Through the use of a constructivist paradigm, this study is expected to uncover the dynamics of communication between the government and community karhutla disasters that occur in Jambi Province and how these dynamics cause forest and land fires in Jambi which occur every year. The results of this study found the dynamics of communication between the government and the government, the government and the community, and the community and the community in mitigating karhutla disasters in Jambi Province.
 
 
 

ANALISIS SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN GURU TERBAIK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE WASPAS DI SMK NEGERI 3 MUARO JAMBI

SMK Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi is a vocational high school in Taman Rajo District, Muaro Jambi District, Jambi Province. At the end of each school year, The principal of SMK Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi has been selecting teachers achievement. The principal identifies outstanding teachers at SMK Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi so far is still subjective. This selection was deemed less effective because it was also influenced by factors outside of the provisions of the criteria, resulting in conflict and decision results does not correspond to the actual decision results. Criteria used such as length of service, last education, class rank, competency and discipline of teachers. The research aims to examine related methods on Decision Support Systems (DSS) using Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS). The basic concept of the method namely carrying out a complex calculation process according to certain criteria has been determined to obtain ranking results. The results obtained are that The application of the WASPAS method can provide school principals with the ability to determine one of the outstanding teachers based on the highest ranking results.

Implementation of an Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) at the Muaro Jambi Regency Communication and Information Service

This research aims to investigate the implementation, inhibiting factors, and actions taken in the implementation of the electronic-based government system in the Muaro Jambi District Communication and Informatics Office. This research uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach and collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that the implementation of the electronic-based government system in the Muaro Jambi District Communication and Informatics Office plays a crucial role in enhancing government efficiency and transparency. The main obstacle in the implementation of this system is the lack of human resources with adequate information technology knowledge. To address this challenge, the Muaro Jambi District Communication and Informatics Office needs to enhance the competencies of human resources in the field of information technology. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in the Muaro Jambi District Communication and Informatics Office has not achieved optimal results, as evident from the actions taken.

Efektifitas Senam Hipertensi terhadap Tekanan Darah Lansia di Puskesmas Rawat Inap Muaro Kumpeh

Elderly (elderly), is a process of the final stages of a human life. One of the problems that often occurs in the elderly is hypertension. Hypertension is a condition where the elderly have blood pressure above 14/90 mmHg. One way that can be done to lower blood pressure is hypertension exercise. In Muaro Jambi Regency, based on data from the Muaro Jambi District health office, the health center with the highest number of elderly people with hypertension was the Muara Kumpeh inpatient health center with a total of 2190 cases of hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypertension exercise on elderly blood pressure at the Muara Kumpeh Inpatient Health Center in 2021. This research is a quantitative study using the pre-experimental method with one group pre-test post-test design. This research was conducted in September 2021 – August 2022 at the Muara Kumpeh Inpatient Health Center. The total population is 2190 people with a sample of 10 people taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by observing blood pressure before and after the intervention, which was carried out once a week for three weeks. Blood pressure data were analyzed using paired sample t-test with α < 0.05. The results of research conducted at the Muaro Kumpeh Inpatient Health Center found that hypertension exercise had an effect on elderly blood pressure (p-value = 0.000). Where the average systolic blood pressure decreased by 40 mmHg and the average diastolic blood pressure decreased by 20 mmHg. Suggestions that elderly hypertension exercise can be an alternative exercise that can be given to the elderly to lower blood pressure and for further research can add insight to researchers on the relationship between the level of influence of hypertension exercise on elderly blood pressure.

Evaluation of the School Literacy Movement in Primary Schools

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of a literacy program based on predetermined indicators, with the expectation that the findings will benefit future policy formulation. The research used a qualitative approach, specifically the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation. Data collection involved interviews and observations. The School Literacy Movement is a government initiative aimed at improving literacy levels in Indonesia. In the Muaro Jambi District, a primary school serving as an implementer of the School Literacy Movement experienced a decline in literacy education based on educational report card scores. After conducting the research, it was found that the school already had clear goals in the context, but it required additional inputs such as integrating the vision and mission to motivate teachers and students, establishing a School Literacy Team (TLS), implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and optimizing the use of facilities and resources. In the process, academic supervision and creativity in finding appropriate learning media were still needed, along with personalized guidance for students to identify their learning styles to ensure that the outcomes aligned with the intended goals. The research highlights the importance of various factors in implementing the literacy program, and the findings can contribute to improving future literacy policies in schools.

Upaya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit filariasis di Desa Kemingking Dalam Kecamatan Taman Rajo

ProvinceJambi is one of the filariasis endemic areas. Almost all regencies / cities in Jambi Province have filariasis cases. Cumulatively the number of chronic filariasis cases reported in Jambi Province in 2014 was 375 cases spread across 9 Regencies / Cities with the highest cases in Muaro Jambi District. Based on the results of the 2014 Finger Blood Survey (SDJ), 180 cases of filariasis in Muaro Jambi District were scattered in 13 health centers in 8 sub-districts of 11 sub-districts. With the discovery of new cases as many as 9 cases. And the most cases were in the MuroKumpeh Health Center area of ​​50 cases. Community service activities are carried out with counseling methods and demonstrations related to filariasis and methods of prevention. From the results of the survey it is known that Muaro Jambi Regency is still an endemic filariasis area with an Mf rate of 1.8%. There was an increase in the average knowledge of the community from before and after the socialization of filariasis in the village of KemingkingDalam.

Prevention of Fraud to Achieve Accountability For Village Fund Management

The study aims to analyze the influence of internal control and competence on fraud prevention to achieve accountability for village fund management in pandemic times. Internal control and competence of village officials become one of the challenges in this pandemic period where the village government is more efficient and effective in using the budget. But there are still factors that cause reduced accountability in the management of village funds caused by the change of village heads that bring an overhaul of their leadership structure. In addition, there are still many activities that are not in accordance with Permendes priority.This resulted in one of the causes of weak internal control and competence possessed by the village apparatus. This study used Purposive sampling in Muaro Jambi district as many as 50 respondents. This research is quantitative research with a causality research design. Cross-section data types and primary data sources. Data analysis techniques using SEM-PLS. The results showed that internal control significantly affects fraud prevention directly, and indirectly affects accountability. Conversely, competence does not affect fraud prevention and does not affect either directly or indirectly on accountability for village fund management. Fraud prevention affects accountability of village fund management.

Business Management and Feasibility Of Beef Cattle In Muaro Jambi District

This study aims to analyze the management and feasibility value of beef cattle business in Muaro Jambi Regency. The focus of this research area was carried out in Bahar Mulya Village, Bahar Utara District, Muaro Jambi Regency, this area was chosen as the research location with the consideration that most of the people in this area have side businesses as beef cattle breeders. The number of samples is 30 people. This study uses two kinds of data collection methods, namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection techniques include surveys and structured interviews. During the interview, questions were asked to respondents based on a questionnaire that had been prepared to explore the data that they wanted to know in the research. The results showed that the management of the beef cattle business in the study area was still managed traditionally by applying the cattle umbaran system. Financially, the potting cattle business was declared feasible with an NPV feasibility value of 345,606,133 and a Net B/C value of 2. 10.

Pengendalian dan Pencegahan Komplikasi Hipertensi pada Lansia Melalui Pendidikan Kesehatan Perilaku Patuh dan Teknik Relaksasi Otot Progresif

Hypertension is still a major problem in the world, both in developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. Based on Riskesdas 2018 data, there was an increase in hypertension cases by 34.1%, especially in the elderly group, and for Muaro Jambi district, especially Muaro Kumpeh district, it is the no. 2 disease after ARI. Hypertension is nicknamed the Silent killer because it does not show symptoms, so it is necessary to carry out treatment to control hypertension and prevent complications early. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase understanding for the elderly about hypertension and things that can aggravate the condition of hypertension, the importance of obedient behavior and complementary therapy, namely progressive muscle relaxation techniques to control and control hypertension. The implementation of the activity begins with a pre-test, giving material, demonstration of progressive muscle relaxation techniques, post test and ends with a blood pressure check. The result of this activity is that the elderly's knowledge about the control and prevention of hypertension complications was obtained by most of the elderly's knowledge lacking (57.2%) before the activity and the majority of the elderly's knowledge was good (45.7%) after health education activities. It is necessary to carry out health education on an ongoing basis and intensify physical activity progressive muscle relaxation techniques at least 3 times a day to control blood pressure in elderly people with hypertensionso as to realize a better quality of life

Deciphering Spatial Variability and Kriging Mapping for Soil pH and Groundwater Levels

Spatial variability of peatlands is mostly related to natural variations and environment. Thus, it is natural and manageable. This study aimed to determine deciphering spatial variability and kriging mapping for soil pH and groundwater levels. The study was conducted on peatlands in Seponjen Village, Kumpeh Sub-District, Muaro Jambi District, Jambi. The collected data were analyzed using ArcGIS 10.3 and Geostatistics. The validation analysis of soil pH showed good performance where the actual soil pH and the estimated results of soil pH had the same fluctuation pattern, with high reliability (r = 0.94) and accuracy (R2 = 0.89) positive. It means that the interpolation performance of soil pH data can be used to create soil pH maps. The soil pH on very thick peat (the area A) showed a strong autocorrelation with a variogram range of 768 m, while on medium peat (the area B) it showed an anisotropic tendency towards rivers with a maximum variability of 273 m. The depth of the groundwater levels in the two areas is autocorrelative, it has a spatial dependence where the variability of the groundwater levels is small at close ranges and increases at long distances.

Analisis Faktor Pencegahan Stunting di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Tahun 2022

Stunting if the height of a child is not the same as the standard height of children in the normal population of the same age and sex. The National Medium-Term Plan (RPJMN) is to improve the nutritional status of the community, including reducing the prevalence of Stunting. This study aims to analyze in depth Human Development Cadre in preventing Stunting. Based on the results of the study by describing the phenomenon based on the perspective of the informants, finding various realities and developing a holistic understanding of a phenomenon in a particular context, it shows that the performance of the Human Development Cadre (KPM) in the Health Office of Muaro Jambi Regency depends on the involvement of cross-sectors in Stunting reduction acceleration program, in addition to cross-sectoral involvement, knowledge, the role of officers, training and support for government officials are very much needed to improve the performance of all Human Development Cadres (KPM) within the Muaro Jambi District Health Office. This research is a qualitative research by describing the phenomenon based on the point of view of the informants. The results of the performance of the Human Development Cadre (KPM) are still not in accordance with the guidelines, the role of officers in the KPM guide and the lack of knowledge of KPM in carrying out their duties.

Peningkatan Imunitas Tubuh Melalui Tanaman Herbal Nusantara pada Komunitas Fathayat Nahdatul Ulama Kabupaten Muaro Jambi

Corona Virus Disease (Covid) is a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms. Indonesia is the country with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in Southeast Asia and ranked 18th in the world with a total of 2,229,938 cases (2 July 2021). The most common symptoms of Covid-19 are fever, fatigue and a dry cough. Some patients may experience aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat or diarrhea. These symptoms are usually mild and occur gradually. Some infected people do not experience any symptoms and do not feel any problems with their bodies. Diseases caused by viruses are generally self-limiting diseases that rely on the body's defenses. Because it has been widely campaigned to increase the body's resistance to prevent contracting viral infections, and even if infected, the body will be strong against it. Therefore, community service activities aim to improve the quality of public health by providing information to increase immunity through Indonesian herbal medicines. This activity will be held in September 2021 – February 2022 at the Fathayat Nahdatul Ulama Community at the Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School, Muaro Jambi district. The target in this activity is the women of the Fathayat Nahdatul Ulama Community, Muaro Jambi district. The minimum number of participants is 50 people. This service activity received extraordinary enthusiasm from the participants as evidenced by the presence of all participants from the beginning to the end of the activity and the feedback from participants in the form of questions or experiences from participants in the material on increasing body immunity with herbal plants.

Associated Factors of Male Participation in Antenatal Care in Muaro Jambi District, Indonesia.

Objective This study aims to evaluate the level of male participation and factors associated with male participation in antenatal care. Methods A cross-sectional study was performed, involving a survey of 381 men, selected through multistage random sampling. The outcome variable male participation in antenatal care was constructed from eight dichotomized indicators, and measurement results were low (scored 1 and 2) and high (scored 3 and 4). Multiple logistic regression analysis was performed using SPSS 24.0 at a significance level of 0.05. Results The percentage of male participation in antenatal care was low (41.2%). Associated factors included age (OR = 1.858, 95%CI = 1.066–3.240), number of children (OR = 2.909, 95%CI = 1.532–5.522), income (OR = 1.715, 95%CI = 1.060–2.775), and knowledge (OR = 3.706, 95%CI = 2.320–5.919). Knowledge was found to be the main factor for male participation in antenatal care in Muaro Jambi Regency. Conclusion Male participation in antenatal care in Muaro Jambi District was low and was influenced by age, number of children, income, and knowledge. Health promotion programs are needed to empower men to participate in antenatal care by providing communication, education, and information.

Analisis Ketimpangan Ekonomi Dan Sektor Ekonomi Unggulan Di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi Provinsi Jambi

The purpose of this study is to determine inequality and the leading economic sector in Muaro Jambi district with a period of 5 years from 2016 to 2020. The research method used is to use the Williamsom index calculation and Static Location Quotient by taking secondary data obtained from sources. Central Bureau of Statistics Muaro Jambi. The results of the study show that inequality is increasing from 2016 to 2020 from the calculation of the Williamson index. Meanwhile, from the calculation of the Static Location Quotient , the leading sectors in Muaro Jambi district are the agriculture, forestry and fishery sectors, processing industry, transportation and warehousing, and other services. The non-leading sectors in Muaro Jambi district are mining and quarrying, electricity and gas supply, water supply, waste management, waste and recycling, construction, wholesale and retail trade, car and motorcycle repair, accommodation and food and drink provision, information and communication, financial and insurance services, real estate, corporate services, government administration, defense and compulsory social security, education services, and health services and social activities.
