The article analyzes the dynamics and level of remuneration of employees of agricultural organizations. It was revealed that the level of wages of agricultural production workers increased during the study period, which has a favorable effect on the results of its activities. The dynamics of labor productivity of workers in the agricultural sector is studied. The results obtained indicate that the labor productivity of farmers increased during the study period. The assessment of the level of use of labor potential by the size of the gross value added created in agriculture per employee was carried out in order to level out the impact on the reliability of labor productivity data of the growth of material and monetary costs. The results of our study show that in the agriculture of the Kursk region, the creation of gross value added per employee has increased, which is a reflection of positive changes in the use of labor. The efficiency of labor and the organization of its payment in the agricultural sector of the region's economy is studied. The results obtained indicate that along with the growth of labor productivity, its efficiency also increases. The high growth rates of indicators for assessing the effectiveness of wages indicate that in the region, the increase in the level of average monthly wages for agricultural workers contributed to an increase in the volume of production of gross agricultural products, had a positive impact on the increase in gross value added and led to a significant increase in financial results. It is proved that the effective use of the system of state, regional and corporate tools and mechanisms that stimulate labor motivation in the agricultural sector of the economy will help to increase the level of wages of employees, which should ensure the solution of strategic tasks of the industry and a decent standard of living for rural residents.
