Phase pure compounds of PrCd6(s) and PrCd11(s) were prepared by solid state route and by isopiestic method. Molar heat capacities of these compounds were measured by differential scanning calorimetry. Thermodynamic functions like molar enthalpy increments, entropies, Gibbs energy functions and S298o for these compounds are also calculated. The internal consistency of the measured data of PrCd11(s) and PrCd6(s) with the data reported in the literature were also verified.
