Polarized Raman spectra of semiconducting ${\mathrm{CdF}}_{2}$:In(0.1 mol %) monocrystals have been measured for different excitation energies (1.83--2.71 eV) and different polarization configurations in the temperature range 9--300 K. The spectra indicate the existence of two defect modes of different symmetry and different intensity versus temperature and excitation-energy behavior. It appears that one of them (395 ${\mathrm{cm}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}1}$) belongs to a symmetry group lower than that of the host crystal. Two new Raman bands at 150 and 1175 ${\mathrm{cm}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}1}$ are reported. The origin of the Raman spectrum is discussed.
