The Future of Hadith Studies in the Digital Age: Opportunities and Challenges

In this study that we have conducted, which is concerned with the digital progress in the study of Hadith science, which is related to Islamic studies, with a focus on the social and religious opportunities and challenges that this shift from ancient studies to a new type of studies in Hadith science brings, we begin our study by providing an overview of the religious and historical importance as well as the scientific importance of one of the most important Islamic sciences, which is Hadith science in Islamic studies. This study indicates the potential of digital technology in reshaping the traditional methodology of Hadith science. In this research paper, we will discuss the benefits that digital technology offers, especially in preserving ancient manuscripts that contain Prophetic hadiths and facilitating access to comprehensive databases, i.e. facilitating the researcher’s access to a huge number of hadiths and using artificial intelligence to analyze the complex networks of narrators and classifying hadiths according to their sources. This research also addresses the challenges facing the development of Hadith science between the past and the present, i.e. between the digitization of Hadith science and the old methods used in transferring and studying Hadith science, such as preserving the accuracy of texts when converting them from the paper system to the digital system, as well as the potential challenges in designing algorithms and ethical issues related to digital interpretations of modern texts or Hadith texts. This research paper also emphasizes the need to develop standards that include guarantees for trust, authenticity and honesty, and it addresses the social impacts resulting from the spread of hadiths via social media over the Internet, which may lead to misuse of these tools or misinterpretations of hadiths or by publishing unverified hadiths. In the future vision of this research paper, we envision this study as an integration between the traditional style in the science of hadith and modern technology and digital tools used in the science of Islamic hadith. It also contributes to establishing research networks and enhancing cooperation between hadith scholars and scholars in the digital technology system. At the end of the research paper, we analyzed a comparison between traditional and digital styles, focusing on the weaknesses and strengths of each of these two approaches. In the end, the study shows the potential of digital innovation in developing the science of hadith, provided that this modern system is used with respect for scientific accuracy and ethical standards to avoid using it in unethical and unscientific ways.

Optimal operation of the smart electrical network considering energy management of demand side

The smart electrical grid represents a significant advancement in generating, distributing, and consuming electricity. This sophisticated system integrates modern technology and communication tools to enhance energy management efficiency and improve demand costuming within the power network. In this paper, optimal operation of the electrical network with energy management and demand response program (DRP) is implemented. The implementation of the optimal operation is done via multi-stage and multi-objective functions modeling. The DRP modeling is done in first stage to optimal management of consumption in demand side. In second stage, operating cost, emission, power losses and voltage profile are optimized as multi-objective functions modeling with attention to optimal management of consumption in demand side. The solving optimal operation of the electrical network is carried out by using elephant herding optimization (EHO). This problem is implemented on 33-bus test system with hybrid energy resources. Finally, DRP leads to reducing costs, emissions and losses and improving voltage profile in proposed electrical network. Hence, operation costs, emission, power losses, and voltage deviation with the participation of DRP are minimized by 39.15%, 9.94%, 33.35%, and 30.73%, respectively. On the other side, voltage stability is enhanced by 3.66% without considering DRP.

STUDENTS’ AND TEACHERS’ PERCEPTION ON USING VIDEO STREAMING PLATFORM TO ENHANCE LISTENING SKILLS

This study investigates the influence of video streaming platforms on effective listening proficiency among English teachers and secondary school students in SMKA Tun Ahmadshah, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The research utilized a qualitative approach, interviewing 5 experienced English teachers and five students from Form 3 to Form 5. Among the reasons, the integration of modern technological tools was provided in the school. The theories of cognitivism and content-based learning (CBL) within the book are employed. The research focuses on these theories to explore cognitive and instructional merits of using video streaming platforms. Based on the findings, the content of video streaming platforms significantly sustains students’ engagement and motivation. At the same time, teachers comment on the content being interesting, relevant, and in multimedia format. It combines visual and auditory sense for their engagement. Among the challenges for the students was that they rely on subtitles on the video. The issue of buffering was not mentioned by the students, but it is likely to reduce their engagement. Teachers suggested that the platform content is authentic similar to that on social media, and students can receive other messages beside the expected ones. For effective teaching, the use of some features could be of help considering that buffering poses a major challenge, and some students rely on subtitles. Nevertheless, they could make the process simpler and with motivation by their utilization on the students’ part. The medium is significantly used in distance learning where it is effective since students rely on the authentic content and are engaged. Thus, the platform should be used for effective proficiency in listening with assistance from its video features. INTEGRATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES INTO THE PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT MECHANISM IN HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS

This article explores the integration of digital technologies into the personnel management mechanisms of healthcare institutions in Ukraine. In an era marked by rapid digital transformation, the healthcare sector is increasingly recognizing the importance of utilizing modern technological tools to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient care, and streamline administrative processes. The study begins by examining the current state of personnel management in Ukrainian healthcare institutions, identifying key challenges such as workforce shortages, inefficient communication channels, and inadequate training programs. The research further delves into the various digital solutions available, including human resource management systems (HRMS), telemedicine platforms, and data analytics tools. These technologies are evaluated for their potential to optimize recruitment processes, enhance employee performance tracking, and facilitate continuous professional development. The article also highlights case studies from healthcare institutions that have successfully implemented digital technologies, showcasing tangible improvements in staff engagement, patient outcomes, and overall institutional effectiveness. Additionally, the paper discusses the critical role of digital literacy among healthcare professionals, emphasizing the need for targeted training initiatives to ensure that staff can effectively utilize new technologies. It concludes by proposing a strategic framework for integrating digital tools into personnel management practices, advocating for a holistic approach that encompasses technological adoption, staff training, and organizational culture change. Ultimately, the article aims to provide valuable insights and practical recommendations for healthcare leaders seeking to navigate the complexities of digital integration in personnel management. It has been determined that further research can significantly contribute to the development of effective personnel management strategies in healthcare institutions, which will not only enhance the quality of medical services but also promote the sustainable development of the healthcare system in Ukraine.

Developing the KATAKU Mobile Application to Enhance Vocabulary Acquisition for Deaf Students

This study presents the development of the KATAKU (Kata untuk Tunarungu Interaktif dan Unik) application as an educational tool designed to support vocabulary learning for deaf students. Deaf students, who have the same educational rights as their hearing peers, often attend Special Schools (SLB). The integration of visual aids and technology in learning has proven effective in increasing their engagement and interest. This study employed a mixed-methods approach, including vocabulary assessments for deaf students, classroom observations, and teacher interviews for a needs analysis to identify the specific requirements of schools and students. Results from the vocabulary assessments revealed that deaf students face significant challenges, particularly with academic terms and word categorization. Classroom observations at three SLB schools in Jombang highlighted engaging but challenging learning dynamics, reinforcing the need for accessible and efficient teaching tools for educators. Teacher interviews indicated that using the paper dictionary provided by the Ministry of Education can be time-consuming and lacks efficiency. This study concludes that deaf students in Jombang face substantial obstacles in vocabulary comprehension, especially with academic vocabulary. The findings underscore the need for targeted vocabulary interventions using modern technological tools to better prepare students for advanced educational demands.

Research Progress of Bronze Ware Ornamentation in the Shang Dynasty of China

Bronze ware is an important representative of ancient Chinese culture, and the Shang Dynasty is the peak of China’s bronze casting technology. As an important symbol of ancient culture, the bronze ornaments of Shang Dynasty in China. Deeply reflect the religious belief, social structure and cultural value at that time. Through a systematic literature review of the origin, classification and evolution of the bronze ornament, this paper aims to deepen the understanding of the Shang Dynasty bronzes and their cultural connotation. Among the existing studies, the current research on Shang Dynasty bronze ornament mainly focuses on the categorization of ornament, its relationship with culture and the evolution rules. Specifically, the classification of bronze ornament is diverse and represents the different symbolic meanings. Shang Dynasty bronze ornaments are closely related to religious beliefs and social structures, and evolved over time. In general, these studies have enriched the cultural knowledge of Shang Dynasty bronzes, while some rare ornaments have been understudied and the research methods need to be further innovated. The significance of this study is clear: by examining Shang dynasty bronze ornament, it can increase people’s understanding of ancient Chinese religious culture and feudal social structure, and also contribute to the identification and conservation of modern bronzes. Future research can apply modern scientific and technological tools to further reveal the deeper connotations and historical value of Shang culture.

A multi-smart agent-based training environment for enhancing 3D graphics production and design thinking skills among elementary computer teachers

This study introduces a multi-smart agent-based training environment aimed at enhancing the production of 3D graphics and fostering design-thinking skills among primary-stage computer teachers. This environment offers a collaborative and interactive learning experience using intelligent agents represented as animated characters. The research evaluates the effectiveness of this innovative training approach through experimental groups, demonstrating significant improvements in the cognitive and psychomotor domains of 3D graphics production skills and in developing design thinking. The results underscore the potential of smart agent technology in educational settings, offering a dynamic platform for teacher professional development by integrating modern technological tools and creative problem-solving methodologies. This study pioneers using multi-smart agent environments in primary education, providing a novel framework that significantly enhances educators' skills and prepares them for future technological advancements in teaching.

Prediction of Overall Equipment Effectiveness in Assembly Processes Using Machine Learning

Abstract Nowadays, a lot of data is generated in production and also in the domain of assembly, from which different patterns can be extracted using machine learning methods with the support of data mining. With the support of various modern technical and Information Technology (IT) tools, the recording, storage and processing of large amounts of data is now a routine activity. Based on machine learning, efficiency metrics including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), can be partially predicted, but industrial companies need more accurate and reliable methods. The analyzed algorithms can be used in general for all production units or machines where production data is recorded by Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are available. This paper presents and determinates which most used machine learning methods should be combined with each other in order to achieve a better prediction result.

The Determinants of International Certification among Manufacturing Firms in Pakistan

This study investigates the factors that influence international certification among Pakistani manufacturing firms. About a third of such firms in Pakistan hold one or more certificates related to management or technical processes. The existing literature suggests that this demand is influenced by factors such as sector of activity, market competition, human capital and information environment, ownership type, and available resources. By analyzing a large, random sample of Pakistani manufacturing firms, we find strong correlations between these factors and international certification. We also discover that owner attitude, an aspect overlooked in previous studies, plays a role in the certification decision. While our statistical model does not fully explain the determinants of certification for small firms, we do find that certification is associated with increased profitability among small enterprises. This implies that small enterprise development agencies can improve the effectiveness of their programs by considering certification status as an additional criterion for allocating support funds. The results of our study have policy implications related to exporting, staff training, diffusion of firm ownership, and enhanced information access facilitated by modern technology tools.

Integrating Eclecticism and Technology in Language Teaching: The Case of Lusail University in Qatar

The objective of this research is to highlight the importance of technology in teaching languages within an eclectic framework. To achieve this goal, we have discussed how modern pedagogy strongly emphasizes integrating technology into language teaching. We have also analyzed the objective of teaching "Technology in Education" to students seeking a major in teaching English language at Lusail University, Qatar's first private national university. The paper focuses on the students' needs to enhance the teaching and learning process by integrating modern technology tools into teaching to adapt to future shifts in technology and pedagogy. We have insisted on the challenges of technological improvements, and the necessity to anticipate and adapt to unpredictable trends in education. By the time students graduate, the educational technologies can be outdated, and this impacts the relevance of gained skills in the rapidly changing educational environment. This research has therefore observed that by applying appropriate educational approaches and developing teaching practices, students can understand the rapidly changing educational contexts and develop their ability to adapt accordingly.

Impact of modern technological methods of knowledge management and total quality management on the performance of educational colleges faculty: A case of Jordan

This research investigates the impact of modern technological methods of knowledge management (KM) and total quality management (TQM) on the performance of faculty members in educational colleges in Jordan. Drawing on a survey conducted with 306 faculty members, the study examines the influence of technology on teaching methodologies and academic quality within the Jordanian higher education context. The study utilizes the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to back up the modern technological methods of knowledge management (KM) and total quality management (TQM) models. The findings reveal a generally positive perception among respondents regarding the beneficial effects of modern technological tools on teaching effectiveness, collaboration, and innovation. Additionally, technology-enhanced TQM practices were found to contribute to improvements in curriculum design, student engagement, and administrative processes. Regression and correlation analyses support significant relationships between technology-enabled KM and TQM practices and faculty performance, highlighting the transformative role of technology in shaping the future of higher education in Jordan. Recommendations are provided for educational institutions to enhance the integration of technology and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement among faculty members.

Integrating Modern Technology with Islamic Jurisprudence: The Role of Elsimil in Enhancing Family Resilience through Sadd Dzariah Perspective

This research focuses on implementing Elsimil to increase family resilience and prevent stunting in children. This research uses library research methods. Primary data includes works such as "Ushul Fiqh" by Amir Syarifuddin, while secondary data includes books, articles, and other relevant literature. The findings of this study show that Elsimil contributes to family resilience by preventing stunting in children. This is achieved by early pregnancy planning and addressing early health problems. From the perspective of sadd dzariah, Elsimil is classified as neutral sadd dzariah by Ibn Qayyim, which involves using precautionary measures to avoid potential harm. Specifically, Elsimil serves as a means to prevent marital discord by offering early health intervention for expectant parents. Implementing Elsimil as a tool for family resilience, from Sadd Dzariah's perspective, is the right step. By planning pregnancies early and providing solutions for prospective brides and grooms, Elsimil helps prevent the birth of children with disabilities, thereby fostering household harmony. The implications of this research highlight the importance of integrating modern technological tools with traditional Islamic principles to increase family resilience and ensure the well-being of future generations.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN BLENDED LEARNING OF FUTURE OFFICERS

The article examines the organizational and pedagogical conditions of using information technolo- gies in blended learning of future officers. The purpose of the study is to justify the organizational and ped- agogical conditions of using information technologies in blended training of future officers. Methods of re- search are analysis, synthesis and generalization of the development of scientific and legal sources in the context of the use of blended learning in the educational process of higher education institutions, in partic- ular regarding the identification and justification of the organizational and pedagogical conditions for the use of information technologies in blended learning of future officers. The results of research. It is noted that the educational sector is quite sensitive to modern social chal- lenges and the emergence of digital technologies, because due to serious social problems, education of young people must continue taking into account traditional and modern practices of face-to-face (audi- tory), distance and, accordingly, blended learning. It is outlined that the blended system of learning in the system of higher military education is caused by the need to train future officers in a fairly short time, with an orientation to personal needs, requests of cadets, updating knowledge and skills, forming the necessary abilities for self-organization, self-improvement, the ability to use modern information technologies for rap- id communication, and solving professional tasks. The analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature al- lowed us to note that blended learning is considered as an educational program that includes partially on- line learning (choice and use of information technologies) and offline learning (controlled by the teacher). In the context of the research, it is indicated that the combination of traditional pedagogy with mod- ern information technologies contributes to the individualization of learning, increasing motivation and the development of cognitive interest, adaptability skills, independence, self-control of future officers, collab- oration and group work; ensures flexibility of the training process, quick feedback between the subjects of educational activity, development of digital skills; improves the quality of education; provides access to the latest scientific and educational resources that are constantly updated; increases the level of readiness to perform combat tasks in real conditions; and prepares cadets for remote coordination and management of units. Among the organizational and pedagogical conditions of the use of information technologies in the blended learning of future officers, the following ones are highlighted: infrastructural support of blended learning in the institution of higher military education; creating content with methodical materials; use of forms and methods of interactive learning; ensuring convenience and accessibility to educational materials; security and information protection in the institution of higher military education. The blended system of education enables teachers of the higher education institutions to combine the best methods of traditional pedagogy with modern technological tools, which contributes to a more flexi- ble, interactive and effective learning process that meets the requirements of the modern military environ- ment. The use of online resources in the conditions of blended education has significant advantages, in- cluding: reducing costs for educational materials and organizing classes; increasing motivation to acquire knowledge; supplementing traditional teaching methods with information technologies, including the use of multimedia resources, virtual simulations and interactive educational materials in combination with lec- tures and practical classes; creation of adaptive training programs that take into account the individual needs and level of preparation of each student; involvement of students by means of forums, online discussions, testing and group projects to acquire knowledge for performing functions in professional activities; stimulation of active participation of students in the educational process; development of critical thinking and teamwork; and providing feedback. Conclusions. However, blended learning requires special training from institutions of higher military education: teachers must have appropriate knowledge and skills for the effective use of information tech- nologies in the educational process, which includes regular refresher courses and exchange of experience with colleagues; provision of necessary technical resources and support, modern equipment, software and Internet access; constant evaluation of the effectiveness of the use of information technologies, which en- sures timely identification and elimination of problems, improvement of training methods; consideration of information security issues, protecting student data and ensuring the confidentiality of educational ma- terials. It is worth noting that the use of information technologies in blended learning of future officers re- quires a complex approach and compliance with certain organizational and pedagogical conditions, which ensures the training of highly qualified specialists capable of effectively performing their duties in modern conditions.

Artificial Intelligence Enhanced Digital Learning for the Sustainability of Education Management System

Maintenance schedules are scheduled ahead of time and automatically based on the continuous monitoring of the equipment by statistical methods, thanks to artificial intelligence-enabled digital transformation and the best fit model based on Machine Management Index in a pedagogical system. One of the most important aspects of universities is the widespread use of machine learning methods to evaluate students' progress. Machine learning approaches are designed to speed up the learning process without sacrificing accuracy. The dynamics of teaching and learning have shifted since the introduction of modern technological tools. The educational system as a whole has changed and developed over time. These days, people can get an education outside of the classroom as well, thanks to the proliferation of online courses and resources. Everyone's professional life begins with their education. By analyzing past data, artificial intelligence methods can resolve existing problems. When applied properly, artificial intelligence can be a highly efficient method for solving problems with a predictable and repeatable solution space. The learner's personality can be predicted based on a number of factors using machine learning approaches. This article examines how AI may improve digital learning in education management systems to sustain the education ecosystem. AI in education improves student results, learning experiences, and administrative processes. This study discusses AI applications in education management systems and associated problems and opportunities. We also explore ethical issues and the roadmap for using AI to improve education. Educational institutions can provide individualized curriculum for students based on their unique personalities and areas of interest. Institutions of higher learning can benefit greatly from this instrument for personality prediction by recommending a course of study that will better prepare students to enter the field of their choice and achieve professional success.

Technologies and the elderly

Abstract Technological development and the increase in the elderly population are undoubtedly the two phenomena that have most characterized the last forty years. Although the elderly are credited with a certain resistance towards new things, in the last 20 years there has been a growing interest in the use of technological tools such as smartphones, PCs and tablets by the elderly population. This phenomenon has undergone a strong acceleration starting from the COVID-19 pandemic which has made technological tools indispensable in order to maintain virtual social and family relationships as it was not possible to meet people directly. Technologies promise undoubted advantages, especially for elderly people who are more easily subject to fatigue and walking problems and are more in need of constant monitoring of their health, but, at the same time, it exposes everyone, especially those over sixty-five, to collateral damage, such as reduction of in-person relationships and exposure to online scams. In this article we will try to identify the pros and cons of the diffusion of modern technological tools among the elderly.

Advancing teacher competencies: assessing the influence of faculty development programs (FDP) on embracing modern innovations in teaching

PurposeThe present research aimed to examine the role of FDP in enhancing the teachers' competencies through modern technological tools and innovative teaching methods. And also, to evaluate the impact of FDPs on teachers' attitudes and motivation to integrate modern teaching innovations into their classroom practices.Design/methodology/approachUsing a pre-post study design, the study was conducted in two phases, Phase I was conducted one week before conducting FDP (14th to 20th August 2023) and Phase II was conducted after one week of FDP (15th to 21st September 2023). The data were gathered through structured questionnaires from the participants in FDP and collected data were processed and analyzed through a statistical package for social sciences.FindingsThe study found that undergoing FDP by teachers significantly influences the adoption of advanced pedagogical approaches and technology integration during their teaching practice. This indirectly helps in promoting quality education at large and contributes to the UNSDG-4. The study also revealed that the effective FDP not only helps in advancing teaching methods but also influences instructors' philosophies and attitudes towards students' overall learning and development.Practical implicationsThese findings have several key implications for higher education institutions, policymakers and teachers at large. Firstly, HEIs should prioritize undertaking FDPs that promote in adopting advanced pedagogical approaches. This indirectly equips the instructors with the knowledge and skills necessary to integrate modern teaching methods into their real classroom practices. Further, by adopting FDP as a strategic initiative to improve the quality of education and work by aligning these programs with broader SDG goals.Originality/valueAdvancing education for enhancing the overall quality of learning depends on the competencies of instructors. The competencies of instructors rely upon the involvement of instructors in life-long learning, level of adoption of technology, innovative approaches used, etc. This study may help higher education institutions adopt FDP as a strategic initiative to improve the quality of education and work by aligning these programs with broader SDG goals.

Applying Digital Technology Opportunities to Education System of Azerbaijan

One of the areas in which the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) has made the greatest contribution is education. The introduction of new technology in education increases the quality of the educational process and creates conditions for the adoption of ICT by the younger generation. Modern technology opportunities have changed education process. It has opened new ways to a massive amount of information through online books, podcasts, images, and videos. Some years ago technology was only used for completing assignments. But nowadays it is used for various aims, from learning to communicating and collaborating. Technology has also opened up numerous opportunities for communication and collaboration. For instance, students in a classroom in rural part of the world can learn from an article published by a other developed countries. Students can communicate through email and even have a lecture, or class virtually via video conference. Furthermore, technology has changed the role of teachers and students. Traditionally, teachers were the centre figure of the learning process, and it was called teacher-centered model. However, with the digital technology sources, information is accessible to everyone, and it gives us more chances for student-centered learning model. In this case the role of teachers is as a guide, and students try to search, to analyze the materials themselves. Of course, the State Program implemented by the Ministry of Education regarding the electronicization of education has created a serious change in this field. During the implementation of the program, modern technological tools were installed in many schools from the capital to the regions. There is no such school that does not have a computer room for the use of students, and does not have an Internet network installed. In most of the capital's schools, the high stage of the electronicization of the educational process has begun. The main purpose of the study is to search literature materials and policy papers about this topic and making description. Learning paragraph writing electronically: An insight into impact of blended learning strategies on ESL learners in Pakistan

A comprehensive teaching plan, mindful practices and effective use of technology can boost the writing skills of Second Language Learners by improving spontaneity, naturalness, and accuracy. A vibrant learning community, strongly connected through on-site and online mediums, is ideal for enhancing the skills of foreign language students. This research focuses on enhancing students’ paragraph writing skills by blending traditional and modern technology tools in a hybrid form of instruction. The participants of the study were divided into experimental and control groups; they were students of English as a Second Language (ESL) learners at a private university in Pakistan. After the pre-test, both groups were taught the same curriculum through different pedagogy for six weeks. The experimental group received instructions in a blended mode with the help of technology tools. The results were analyzed at pre and post-research levels by applying a t-test. The results showed a noticeable improvement in the skills of the experimental group. The same course taught with a traditional pedagogy could not produce the desirable results in the control group. The analysis includes vocabulary, reflective thinking, adherence to language mechanics, and grammar to boost the students’ creative writing ability for paragraph composition.

The study employs a qualitative approach, including interviews and surveys with educators, administrators, and policymakers involved in the implementation of technology in education. The findings reveal that while there is a growing interest in the use of innovative technologies, there are also significant challenges, including limited access to technology, inadequate training for teachers, and a lack of clear policies and guidelines. Despite these challenges, there is optimism about the potential of technology to improve teaching and learning outcomes in Kazakhstan. The study concludes with recommendations for policymakers and educators to overcome these challenges and fully realize the benefits of innovative technologies in education.
