Such dosage regimens almost invariably produced significant degrees of toxicity. Favorable tumor responses to other suppressive agents administered in similar intermittent large dosage regimens have gone far toward almost standardizing this therapeutic approach in the treatment of malignant disease.Recent experience has demonstrated that equal or superior responses can be achieved with some compounds when they are administered in continuous low dosage regimens with minimal...
