Keefektifan Bahan Ajar Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri (UKBM) Teks Esksplanasi Berbasis Literasi untuk Siswa Kelas XI MAN 3 Kediri

This study aims to test the effectiveness of UKBM teaching materials Literacy-Based Explanatory Text for Class XI Students of MAN 3 Kediri. The type of research used in this research is experimental research with the Pre-Experimental Design research with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class XI Religion 2 MAN 3. Data collection methods used are tests, questionnaires, documentation, and observation. Meanwhile, to analyze the data using the effectiveness test. The results showed that the average pretest score was 69.24 and the posttest average score was 80.24. This means that student learning outcomes have increased by 14.28, and the average gain test is included in the moderate criteria, which is equal to 0.36 or 36%. Based on the explanation above, the use of UKBM teaching materials is effectively used to improve students' literacy skills in learning explanatory texts for class XI MAN 3 Kediri.

Development of Hypercontent-Based Open-Ended Approach-Based Learning Devices to Improve SMK Students' Creative Thinking Abilities

This study aims to: 1) obtain learning tools developed using an open-ended approach using hypercontent that meet validity, practicability, and effectiveness to improve students' creative thinking skills; and 2) describe how to apply learning tools developed using an open-ended approach using hypercontent to improve students' creative thinking skills. This study is concerned with development. The ADDIE development paradigm was used in this study. 1) The development of learning tools based on an open-ended approach using hypercontent meets the criteria of validity, practicability, and effectiveness of learning tools; 2) In trial I and trial II, the ability to improve creative thinking skills using learning tools based on an open-ended approach using hypercontent increased from 0.22 with low criteria to 0.39 with moderate criteria.

Status of mangrove ecosystems in the waters of Senggarang Besar, Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands Province

The waters of Senggarang Besar are located in Senggarang Village, Tanjungpinang Kota District. The waters of Senggarang Besar have a fairly large mangrove ecosystem plus many mangrove seedling planting activities in the coastal waters of Senggarang Besar. Mangrove ecosystems have a variety of natural resources that are abundant and diverse. Mangroves are the most potential ecosystems because mangroves support the diversity of flora and fauna in aquatic communities and play a significant role in human survival based on economic, community and environmental perspectives. This study aims to determine the density, canopy cover, and status of mangrove ecosystems in the waters of Senggarang Besar. This research was conducted in September-December 2022 located in the waters of Senggarang Besar Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands Province. Determination of observation stations using direct survey method in the field with 3 station points with 6 plots at each station, based on the presence of mangrove ecosystems. Determination of the retrieval point using purposive sampling method. Mangarove ecosystem species found in the waters of Senggarang Besar Tanjungpinang City Riau Islands Province there are 4 species including: Rhizophora apiculata, Bruguiera gymnorhiza, Xylocarpus granatum, and Avicenia marina. With density and cover values at station 1, 3900 ind/ha and 81.00%, at station 2, 1433.33 ind/ha and 69.98%, and station 3, 1446.7 ind/ha and 69.08%. The level of damage to the mangrove ecosystem in the waters of Senggarang Besar Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands Province at station 1 includes good, very dense criteria based on KepMen LH No. 201 of 2004. While at stations 2 and 3 the level of damage includes good, moderate criteria based on KepMen LH No. 201 Year 2004.

Effectiveness of Discovery Learning Model Based on Team Games Tournament Assisted with Thematic English Media on Learning Achievement

Learning achievement in learning is very important because the success of learning carried out in teaching and learning activities can be seen from student learning outcomes. Learning achievement is the result achieved by students or someone after carrying out learning activities. Thematic learning achievements at SD N 1 Patukangan class IV in 2018/2019 still vary widely. Not all students' Thematic learning outcomes are high or good. There are several Thematic learning achievements that are unsatisfactory. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using the discovery learning model based on team games tournaments assisted by thematic workshop media on student achievement in class IV SD N 1 Patukangan. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental method with a research design using Nonequivalent [Pre-Test and Post-Test] Control Groups Design (NCGD). The results showed that the experimental class mean was 82.50, while the control class showed a result of 71.09. This shown that the average learning achievement of students in the experimental class is higher than the average learning achievement of students in the control class. The n-gain results in the experimental class show moderate criteria with an average gain of 0.45 while those in the control class show moderate criteria with an average of 0.30. This shows that there is the effectiveness of the discovery learning model based on team games tournament assisted by thematic workshop media on student achievement. The Relationship Between Student Stress Level and Clinical Registration Outcomes in Students of The Faculty of Medicine Yarsi University Class Of 2016 and Views According to Islam

Stress is a pattern of reaction and general adaptation, in the sense that the pattern of reaction to a stressor, which can come from within or outside the individual concerned, can be real or not real in nature. This study aims to determine the level of stress experienced by students of the Faculty of Medicine, Yarsi University class of 2016 and its relation to the results of the clerk's office. The research design used was cross sectional. Student stress levels were measured using the Perceived Stress Scale questionnaire. Data on clinical clerkship results were obtained from exam results. The results of the study were obtained from 85 students, 47.1% of Yarsi University Faculty of Medicine students class of 2016 experienced mild stress levels, 31.8% experienced moderate stress levels, and 21.2% experienced severe stress levels. This means that the stress level of Yarsi University Medical Faculty students is in the mild to moderate criteria. The results showed that the level of mild stress was higher in the number of students who got an A clerkship score, namely 3 out of 40 people (3.54) and 37 people (43.53%) got an A- clerkship score. Furthermore, students with high levels of stress got more AB scores, namely 12 students out of 18 students (14.12%). In this study, it was found that there was a relationship between stress levels and the results of clinical clerkship scores (p value <0.05).

Prospective Elementary School Teachers’ Reading Literacy Profile Based on Minimum Competency Assessment with the Implementation of the Discovery Learning Model

Every student needs to have learning and innovation skills, media, information, and technology literacy, as well as life skills so they can work and survive in the 21st century. Reading literacy skill is required for developing 21st-century life skills. According to empirical data from the PIRLS test in 2011 and the PISA test in 2018, Indonesian students’ reading literacy skill is still subpar worldwide. High reading literacy skill is required of prospective elementary school teachers. Utilizing a discovery learning approach that strengthens prospective elementary school teachers and students reading literacy skills can help reduce these issues. The two main objectives of this study are: 1) to profile the reading literacy skill of prospective elementary school teachers based on the Minimum Competency Assessment and 2) to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the discovery learning model on prospective elementary school teachers’ reading literacy skill. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design that sequentially combines quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results showed that: 1) based on the Minimum Competency Assessment, prospective elementary school teachers’ reading literacy profile was still relatively low (i.e., average score: 54.03, average score for each indicator—finding information, understanding, evaluating and reflecting: 48, 51.8, and of 56.3 respectively); 2) based on the average score of the prospective elementary school teachers’ reading literacy skill before and after the implementation of discovery learning model (54.03 and 72.18 respectively), the implementation of the discovery learning model is effective in improving the reading literacy skills of prospective elementary school teachers who are included under the moderate criteria. This outcome is a result of the integration of the discovery learning model of each syntax training with reading literacy activities, which stimulates students’ reading literacy skills.

PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN VIRTUAL MOODLE BERBANTUAN GEOGEBRA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning independence by implementing Geogebra-assisted Moodle virtual learning. The method used is the experimental method with a one group pretest posttest research design. The research subjects were class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Serang City. The data collection technique uses independent learning by distributing questionnaires before and after product trials during limited trials and field trials. An increase in learning independence is known by using the n-gain test to obtain an average result of 0.6 with moderate criteria during the limited test and field test

Effectiveness of Purple Sweet Potato Extract and Disclosing Substance for Plaque Identification

Oral hygiene is an indicator of oral and dental health which can be assessed based on the presence or absence of organic deposits, such as pellicle, materia alba (dental deposit), food residue, calculus, and dental plaque. Plaque is the cause of tooth decay among the world's population. Plaque on the tooth surface can be used as an indicator of oral hygiene. Poor cleaning can lead to stickier plaque and tartar after calcification. The thin plaque is almost the same as the color of the teeth, so that plaque cannot be seen with the naked eye. The presence of plaque that is formed from contact with oral fluids can be detected by using certain dye. This study aims to determine the Effectiveness of Purple Sweet Potato Extract and Disclosing substance for Plaque Identification among the children in Aisyah Orphanage, Tilatang Kamang Sub-District, Agam District. This was a quasi-experimental study with a post-test-only design. The samples of this study were 30 children at Aisyah Orphanage, Tilatang Kamang Sub-District, Agam District, with the inclusion criteria of children with permanent teeth and index teeth. The samples were selected through total sampling technique. The results showed that after applying purple sweet potato extract to the children at Aisyah Orphanage in Bukittinggi City, most of them had the Patient Hygiene Performance index (PHP) in the moderate criteria (50%). Furthermore, after applying disclosing substances to the children at Aisyah Orphanage in Bukittinggi City, most of them had the PHP index in the poor criteria (56.7%). The t-test independent statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.005), indicating a significant difference between sweet potato extract and disclosing substance. Disclosing substance was more effective than purple sweet potato extract in identifying plaque on the tooth surface. Further study is recommended to apply purple sweet potato extract with different concentrations as an alternative ingredient to identify plaque on the tooth surface.

Improve Beginning Reading Skills Through Flashcard Learning Media in Children Aged 5-6 Years

The development of reading skills needs to be stimulated from an early age through various media, starting with symbols. The media used must be able to stimulate children's interest in reading. The results of observations that have been made in Kindergarten/ Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al Falah Bogor, there is a low initial reading ability, which is characterized by the low ability of children to recognize letter symbols, syllables, and words. Most children cannot read their own names yet. The learning method used by the teacher has not varied, it is done conventionally, namely through writing written by the teacher on the blackboard. The purpose of this study was to improve early childhood reading skills through flashcard media in RA. Al-Falah Bogor. The methodology in this study is Classroom Action Research which is qualitative with data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews, or interview and documentation to obtain the necessary data. shows an increase in the ability to read beginners who can achieve success criteria, namely the acquisition of an average percentage of more than 75%. In the Pre-Action stage, children's initial reading ability obtained an average percentage of 36.09% with poor criteria and increased to 52.30% with moderate criteria in Cycle I, and to 79.86% with high criteria in Cycle II. Results of this study indicate that flashcard media can improve beginner reading skills.

Penapisan Senyawa Bioaktif Antimikroba dari Ekstrak Campuran Daun Inggu (Ruta angustifolia L.) dan Bakteri Endofit Pseudomonas azotoformans UICC B-91 sebagai Sediaan Oral Nutraceutical

The oral cavity as a passageway for various types of substances can be a nesting place for various types of microbes that can cause microbial infections, including candidiasis. Inggu leaf extract and extract of the endophytic bacteria Pseudomonas azotoformans in previous studies have shown the resulting antimicrobial activity. The aim of the study was to screen for antimicrobial bioactive compounds from inggu leaf extract and endophytic bacteria as nutraceutical oral preparations. A mouthwash formulation was made with the addition of crude extract of inggu leaves and pure extract of the endophytic bacteria Pseudomonas azotoformans as antimicrobial agents. The method used is laboratory experimental. The formulation was made by adding the crude extract of inggu leaves and pure extract of the endophytic bacteria Pseudomonas azotoformans and divided into 3 formulations A, B, and C with a ratio of 1:1, 1:2, and 2:1 respectively. The results showed that each mouthwash preparation had an inhibition zone on preparations A, B and C, which were 8.55 mm; 8.55mm; and 9.53mm. The normality test result for each preparation was 0.05. The homogeneity test results obtained a significance value of 0.074 (p > 0.05). The results of the one way ANOVA test found a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), there was a significant difference in the variation in the concentration of the mouthwash formula in inhibiting the growth of the Candida albicans fungus. The inhibition zone formed indicated the presence of antimicrobial activity from the mouthwash and all formulas were included in the moderate criteria according to the Davis & Stout method. All preparations are homogeneous because there is no precipitate, have the dominant smell and color of inggu leaves, and have a sweet taste that is slightly mixed with bitter and spicy from inggu leaves.

Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Problem Based Learning pada Materi Sistem Pernapasan untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa SMP

The effectiveness of use of printed teaching materials such as student textbooks, such as textbooks, opens up opportunities for integrating a teaching material supplement with the latest information technology to support the achievement of 21st century skills. One of them is the development of an e-module based on Problem Based Learning. This research aims to develop valid, practical, and effective Problem Based Learning e-modules. This research uses research and development methods with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The test subjects in this study were class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 17 Pon Village, Sei Bamban District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province. The results showed that: 1) the validation results of media experts obtained an average percentage of 77.63% in the valid category. The results of the material expert validation obtained an average percentage of 97.61% with a very valid category. The results of the linguist validation obtained an average percentage of 100% with a very valid category; 2) the results of the teacher's response assessment obtained an average percentage of 81.06% in the very practical category. The results of assessing the responses of students in the small group tryout obtained an average percentage of 87.22% in the very practical category, and in the large group tryout an average percentage of 87.84% was obtained in the very practical category; and 3) product effectiveness test using the N-gain test obtained an average score of 0.59 indicating an increase in cognitive learning outcomes with moderate criteria. Based on the results of testing the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the product, the e-module based on Problem Based Learning on respiratory system material developed is valid, practical and effective for teachers and students to use in the process of learning natural sciences.

HUBUNGAN KREATIVITAS GURU MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BERBASIS CANVA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between teacher creativity in teaching variations using Canva-based media and student learning outcomes in science.The research method used is correlational quantitative. The population of this study were all fourth grade students as well as a sample of 63 students. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The techniques used in this research are descriptive analysis, normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing using the Pearson product moment test assisted by SPSS 25.The results of this study indicate that: teacher creativity in science learning has moderate criteria. Class IV science learning outcomes have a high average score with a percentage (82.3%). Based on the results of data analysis between teacher creativity and science learning outcomes there is a significant relationship with tcount 6.752 greater than ttable 2.000 or (6.752 2.000) out of n = 63 at a significant level of 5%. This shows that there is a strong, positive, and significant relationship between teacher creativity using Canva-based media and science learning outcomes for fourth grade students at SDN 006 Langgini, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency.

Penerapan model problem based learning (PBL) berbantuan media iSpring pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit

This study aims to determine the average learning outcomes and learning motivation with the iSpring Media Assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model compared to conventional learning models. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal with the samples in this study were 2 classes, namely the experimental class in class X IPA 2 and the control class in class X IPA 3 which were obtained using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of a test instrument in the form of validated questions and a non-test instrument in the form of a learning motivation questionnaire. The results of the study for learning motivation using the independent sample t-test at = 0.05, the tcount value was 1.81. The results of the study on learning outcomes showed that the average value with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model was 84.58 while the average value in the conventional learning model was 77.50. The gain calculation shows that the increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class is 72% with criteria while the control class is 68% with moderate criteria. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the tcount value was 4.94 Ha, which was accepted, namely the learning outcomes of students who were taught with the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by the Ispring media were higher than the learning outcomes of students who were taught using conventional learning models on electrolyte and non electrolyte solutions. While the research results for the correlation test is 0.333. Thus, there is a significant correlation between learning motivation to increase student learning outcomes in the experimental class by 11%. This shows that the higher the motivation, the higher the learning outcomes, and vice versa.

Hubungan Layanan Konseling Individu Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020

Abstracts written in Indonesian with a maximum of 250 words. Times This diary is intended to determine the relationship between individual counseling services and the confidence of Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang. This research is in the form of quantitative research, namely data collection using library research, observations, interviews, documents and questionnaires. Then analyzed by statistical analysis, namely linearity and hypothesis testing. The results obtained from the study were that low grade students accounted for 30.55%, average graded students accounted for 77 students with the rate of 53.47 n high grade students had 23 students with a rate of 15.97%. Overall, Personal Counseling Services students have moderate criteria with a rate of 53.47%. The conclusion of the study is that the relationship between counseling services and student confidence is correlated with a correlation value of 0.713 and a percentage of 71.3%. Recommendations For instructors and counselors in schools, it is hoped that they can provide group and individual counseling for the purpose of correcting students' confidence issues

Identification of Students' Misconceptions on Hydrocarbon Material Using a Four-Tier Multiple Choice Diagnostic Test

As one of the sciences, some students consider chemistry complex and abstract, so many misconceptions arise. One of the chemistry topics that cause many misconceptions is hydrocarbons. A misconception is an understanding of concepts in students' minds that are contrary to scientific concepts. This research aimed to identify the student’s understanding and misconception of hydrocarbon. The study was qualitative descriptive research. Qualitative descriptive research was used to identify student misconceptions using the four-tier test. The sample of the research was 24 students. The instruments used in this research are four test levels which include (1) multiple-choice, (2) confidence rating of the answer beliefs, (3) reason for the answer, and (4) confidence rating of the reasoning. The result shows that 24,7% of students well-understood hydrocarbon concepts, 32,1% do not understand, and 43,2% have misconceptions. Misconceptions in this research are divided into three categories: low, moderate, and high. The students experience misconceptions with high criteria on the concept reaction of hydrocarbon (66,7%), moderate criteria on the concept of determining hydrocarbon compound (31,3%), the nomenclature of hydrocarbon compound (56,3%), types atom carbon (37,5%), Physical and Chemical Properties (45,8%), isomers (47,9%) and low criteria on the concept of characteristics of carbon atoms (16,7%).

The Effectiveness of Inquiry-Group Based Blended Learning Management System on High School Physics of High School Students of North Sumatera-Indonesia

The merging of these systems is based on the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning and teaching processes. Offline teaching which is combined with online makes the teaching and learning processes more effective in the way the students have more effective discussions and enable students to collaborate to present the few topics being discussed. This type of learning and teaching will provide flexibility for schools to adapt to government policies to prevent students from being too crowded by dividing students into offline and online groups. Blended learning will also make learning more effective and efficient where students can study more independently as well as have access to learning material resources. This system can deepen the mastery of material through more exercise by exposing to learning resources that are available on the internet which are unlimited. Misunderstood blended learning and teaching models and they think of blended learning as a model of learning. Several studies use blended learning with conventional teaching methods. Some works have also combined blended learning with various models of teaching. A choice of a suitable model of learning on a specific topic is also required. It depends on the learning outcomes. Different models of learning have different direct and nurturant effects. This work tries to look at A compact blended learning mode that was used in this work the Flip model with 50% Face to Face and 50% online alternating. This is required to split the students into two groups by reducing the number of students present at school at the same time. The target of this research is to see the effectiveness of an inquiry-group based blended learning management system (IGBLMS). Analysis of the results of the study was carried out using N-gain analysis and non-parametric statistics. Non-parametric statistics are used to analyze in detail the specific effects of processes and outcomes. This analysis will show in detail the direct impact of the research design. The conclusion that can be reached is that the effectiveness of blended learning carried out in supporting learning activities is effective learning even with moderate criteria. This makes a breakthrough in learning to be able to support learning activities without reducing the existence of learning with pre-existing systems.

The Effects of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Model and Initial Abilities of Students Critical Thinking Skills in Class VII Natural Science Subject MTsN 2 Kerinci

The observation results show that students' critical thinking skills are still low. This is due to low learning activity, lack of teacher innovation, teachers do not pay attention to initial abilities and conventional learning. Efforts that can be made to overcome this problem are by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the CTL model and initial abilities on students' critical thinking skills in science learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The research population was students of class VII MTsN 2 Kerinci. The sample was taken by purposive sampling, so class VIId was the control class and class VIIc was the experimental class. Data analysis on hypothesis testing was carried out using two-way ANOVA. The research results obtained were (1) The average value of critical thinking skills in the experimental class was 78.02 with high criteria while the control class was 67.60 with moderate criteria. (2) The value of students' critical thinking skills with high initial abilities in the experimental class was 83.96 with very high criteria while the control class was 72.12 with high criteria. (3) The value of critical thinking skills of students with low initial abilities in the experimental class was 72.08 with high criteria while the control class was 62.08 with low criteria. (4) There is no interaction between the CTL learning model and students' initial abilities in influencing students' critical thinking skills.

DEVELOPMENT OF ETNOSCIENCE BASED INTERACTIVE SCIENCE MODULE TO IMPROVE STUDENT'S CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY

This study aims to produce an interactive ethnoscience-based science module that is valid, practical and effective to improve students' critical thinking skills in science subjects with the subject matter of environmental pollution. This research is included in research and development (Research and Development) referring to the ADDIE development model including the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation stages. Testing of ethnoscience-based interactive science modules in learning and critical thinking skills tests were conducted on seventh grade students of MTs Nahdlatul Wathan Suela and SMP Nurul Jihad NW Senyiur, NTB. The trial design of this study used the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results showed that the average percentage of the feasibility value of the ethnoscience-based interactive science module from the three validators was 80.6% with very decent criteria, critical thinking ability instrument was 77.7% with proper criteria. The practicality of using an interactive science-based science module based on enscience in the trial got an average score of 75.2% with practical criteria. The ethnoscience-based interactive science module is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills with an average N-gain score of 68 with moderate criteria. These results indicate that the developed interactive science module has valid, practical and effective criteria to improve students' critical thinking skills

The Relationship between Family Support and Levels of Depression with the Quality of Life of Elderly During the Pandemic Period in Pasekan Health Center, Indramayu District year 2022

Quality elderly life is the functional condition of the elderly in optimal conditions so that they can enjoy their old age with meaning, happiness, and usefulness. This study intends to examine the association between family support and depression level and the quality of life of senior patients at the Pasekan Health Center, Indramayu Regency, during the pandemic. This study is quantitative research. The Pasekan Public Health Center, Indramayu Regency's population, consists of an average of 86 senior persons per month; therefore, a total sample is taken. The results showed: 75.6% of families supported the elderly during the pandemic, 53.5% of the elderly experienced moderate depression during the pandemic, and 59.3% of the quality of life of the elderly included moderate criteria. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between family support and the level of depression in the quality of life of the elderly during the pandemic. It should be remembered that the quality of life of the elderly has to do with family support and the level of depression. The elderly should reduce the things that can cause depression by doing regular exercise, positive thinking, and others, as well as the need for family support so that the impact on the quality of life is increasing.
