Introduction: Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a condition that affects the blood vessels, heart, brain and eyes. If left untreated, it can even lead to kidney failure. The condition arises when blood pressure readings are repeatedly recorded above the 140 by 90 mmHg range. One form of treatment is pharmacological, with classes of drugs known as antihypertensives. Objective: To verify the dispensing profile of antihypertensive drugs in a pharmacy belonging to the Popular Pharmacy Program in the city of Aliança do Tocantins, showing the classes of drugs most commonly used to treat hypertension. Materials and methods: The data was collected from the drug dispensing records between January and April 2024 from a pharmacy in the municipality of Aliança-TO. The pharmacy in question provided spreadsheets containing detailed information on the medicines dispensed daily. This data was then compiled and analyzed. Final considerations: Through the data survey, it was concluded that Losartan was the most dispensed antihypertensive between January and May 2024 at Drogaria Brasil Popular in the city of Aliança do Tocantins-TO.
