Research on Blended Teaching of College English Writing Based on 'POA' Theory Under the Background of Big Data

This paper discusses the application value of the writing teaching mode combined with the mixed teaching mode in college English writing teaching against the background of big data. Focusing on production-oriented approach (POA) theory, this paper proposes a mixed learning writing model for English teaching and applies the POA mixed learning English writing teaching model to practical teaching by using the cloud classroom platform, collecting students' big data, and analyzing students' seriousness, classroom participation, satisfaction, and English writing performance. Although the overall student engagement is not high, their classroom satisfaction is very high. Research shows that after the teacher adjusted the lesson plan and encouraged students to participate more in class interactions, their scores improved in the second exam but declined in the third exam . The levels of engagement, participation, and satisfaction have significantly decreased across all grades. The POA combined with the blended learning mode has a great application value in practical teaching in the era of big data.

The Construction of an English Network Course Based on the Theory of Hybrid Real-Time Synchronization Algorithm

Application effect of the online and offline mixed education mode in nursing practice based on the SMCR communication model.

To explore the application effect of the online and offline mixed teaching mode in nursing practice teaching based on the Source Message Channel Receiver (SMCR) communication model. By using the convenience sampling method, 15 nursing students who practiced their internship in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University for 4 weeks, from 1 April 2022 to 31 December 2023, were selected as the experimental group. A total of 16 nursing students who practiced in the same hospital in 2021 were selected as the control group. The control group used traditional teaching mode for teaching, and the experimental group used the online and offline teaching mode for teaching. The theoretical and practical achievements, competency, and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of nursing students were compared and analyzed after the internship. The theoretical knowledge, operational performance, competence of the nurses, and satisfaction with the teaching in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Based on the SMCR communication model, exploring the online and offline mixed teaching mode plays an important role in the teaching process of nursing practice, which can not only effectively improve the comprehensive performance of nursing students but also help to improve their satisfaction with teaching and has a positive impact on the cultivation of high-quality nursing talents.

Aiming at the four major pain points existing in the traditional college physics teaching in local application-oriented universities, this paper puts forward ten teaching strategies, including case visualization and problem originalization, focusing on the development of students and based on the constructivism teaching theory. The research explored the mixed teaching mode of “four dimensions and ten strategies” based on “MOOCs + PAD”. The teaching practice shows that this teaching mode can effectively enhance students’ learning interest and comprehensive ability, and the classroom teaching effect has been significantly improved.

Badminton Teaching Modes and Students’ Academic Performance: Basis for Teaching and Learning Approaches

This study aimed to determine the assessment of the application of mixed teaching mode in badminton teaching as perceived by the freshmen and sophomore students in selected universities in China. It utilized the descriptive comparative -correlational research design in the conduct of the study. To ensure the valid and systematic presentation, analysis and interpretation of the data the following statistical tools were obtained: frequency count and percentage, weighted mean, ranking, P value and t-test/ Analysis of Variance for independent samples, Pearson’s r Correlation Analysis. Results of the study revealed that the diverse modalities for teaching badminton are necessary for effective badminton instruction however these modalities may not currently be optimized for student learning. There is a wide range of perceptions and preferences among the respondents on the different teaching modalities. The average academic performance of the respondents is categorized as medium. The diversity in opinions underscores the importance of offering flexibility and choices in teaching modalities to cater to the preferences and learning styles of students. The relationship between teaching methods (face-to-face, blended, hybrid, and pure online) and students’ academic performance is multifaceted. It depends on various factors, including student characteristics, instructor quality, resource availability and motivation.

Construction and Application of MOOC + Flipped Classroom Mixed Teaching Model in Volleyball Teaching in Colleges and Universities

MOOC+Flipped Classroom (MFC) is a new model that make the online learning and offline learning integrated. And it also shows a new way in developing the teaching reform. Based on MFC, a mixed teaching mode suitable for college volleyball was studied and established. And a reasonable evaluation index system was developed. It fosters educational fairness and improvements in volleyball learning performance. To be applicable to many kinds of problems, the support vector machine (SVM) is improved to obtain the DBT-SVM based quality evaluation model of college volleyball mixed teaching. The average score of students in the mixed teaching mode was higher than that in the traditional teaching mode. The comprehensive performance scores of the former and the latter after the experiment are 9.12 ± 0.75 and 7.63 ± 0.56 respectively. The mixed teaching mode results in higher student attendance. Among the prediction results of DBT-SVM, BT-SVM and SVM, DBT-SVM has higher accuracy, less training and testing time, and smaller error. This shows that DBT-SVM can accurately evaluate the teaching effect and quality.
