APPROACH TO FEED-FORWARD ADAPTIVE CONTROL FOR VARIABLE PUMP AND VALVE CONTROLLED ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

The variable pump makes the open loop gain change and decrease , the tracking control accuracy is difficult to be achieved by traditional feedback control A/O cascade control. Effective compensation to the change of open loop gain can be achieved with micro-controller and compound control methods. Using the MCS-96 chip technology, feedback control, feedforward control and adaptive control principles, The chip computer feed-forward adaptive controller is developed, and the adaptive digital control to the system is realized and tested. The tests results show that the controller is the effective control method for the variable pump valve controlled system.

MC68HC11 Microcontroller Control of a Greenhouse Environment as a Time Delay System

The paper presents a microcontroller design and control implementation for modern greenhouses. The nature of the greenhouse problems in conjunction with the microcontroller capabilities is given as a time delay control system and states decoupling problems are discussed. The greenhouse modelcontroller system operation is simulated and the results are discussed Different plants greenhouse environmental demands are taken into account by changing controller set points, control architectures and data base integration. Greenhouse control is considered a batch control system during start-up and run as continuous time discrete control algorithm later in the background. Greenhouse control is a typical time delay system.

A communication method for an industrial multiple-microcontroller distributed control system

A group of microcontrollers was used in the real-time control of a cement production process both for their low cost and for their reliability. They are connected with each other and linked up with a central computer to form a multiple microcontroller control system or loosely coupled distributed control system. This paper describes the design method used for the system and its behaviour at the message passing level. Problems relating to data communication are addressed and solutions to these problems are then presented in detail. A comparison between several candidate communication architectures is given.
