Corrosion performance of carbon steel and 304 stainless steel in activated methyldiethanolamine solution using autoclave tests

This study evaluated the corrosion performance of carbon steel (CS) and 304 stainless steel (304 SS) under high temperature and pressure (inside an autoclave) in a CO2-saturated solution of activated methyldiethanolamine (aMDEA). The aim was to determine the effect of temperature, presence of chloride ions, degradation of the aMDEA and amount of dissolved oxygen on the corrosion resistance of these materials. The results indicated that raising the temperature between 50 and 120°C led to a higher corrosion rate of both CS and 304 SS. However, the corrosion rate of 304 SS decreased and remained stable at higher temperatures as the corrosion reaction became mass-controlled. Oxygen loading results in the passivation of both CS and 304 SS. The amine degradation products were found to accelerate the corrosion rate of CS at 50°C due to a chelation effect of iron ions, and also increase the corrosion rate of 304 SS at 120°C by causing the passive film rupture. The SCC test on U-shaped 304 SS samples showed transversal microcracks with a depth of more than 25 µm after 2 months of immersion in an autoclave containing CO2-saturated aMDEA at 120°C, which confirmed the SCC risk of 304 SS.

Modeling H2S solubility in aqueous MDEA, MEA and DEA solutions by the electrolyte SRK-CPA EOS

In this study, an electrolyte cubic plus association equation of state (e-CPA EOS) has been proposed to predict the vapor–liquid equilibrium of (H2S) in aqueous solutions of monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), and methyldiethanolamine (MDEA). This EOS is composed of repulsive forces, short-range interactions, short-range ionic interactions, association term, long-range ionic interactions, and Born term. The Soave– Redlich– Kwong EOS is used as a non-electrolyte part. A new iterative procedure based on the Jacobi method is introduced to obtain the compositions of all species in the liquid phase. The genetic algorithm (GA) is used to find the optimal values of binary interaction coefficients between molecules and ions. Compared with experimental data, the e-CPA EOS model successfully describes the vapor–liquid equilibrium of H2S in the aqueous solutions of MEA, DEA, and MDEA. The average absolute deviations for 313 data of MEA-H2S-H2O, 156 data of DEA-H2S-H2O, and 145 data of MDEA-H2S-H2O systems were obtained as 8.20 %, 8.04 %, and 9.41 %, respectively. In addition, for some similar cases, the capability of the e-CPA EOS was compared with the Clegg–Pitzer, N-Wilson-NRF, e-NRTL, and e-CTS models. The results indicated that the e-CPA EOS has less error than the four other models.

Highly efficient CO2 capture using 2-methylimidazole aqueous solution on laboratory and pilot-scale

To date, the primary industrial carbon capture approach is still absorption using aqueous solutions of alkanolamines. Here, to pursue a substitute for the amine-based approach to improve the CO2 capture efficiency and decrease the energy cost further, we report a new carbon capture approach using a 2-methylimidazole (mIm) aqueous solution. The properties and sorption behaviors of this approach have been experimentally investigated. The results show that the mIm solution has higher CO2 absorption capacity under relatively higher equilibrium pressure (>130 kPa) and lower desorption heat than the methyldiethanolamine solution. 91.6% sorption capacity of mIm solution can be recovered at 353.15 K and 80 kPa. The selectivity for CO2/N2 and CO2/CH4 can reach an exceptional 7609 and 4324, respectively. Furthermore, the pilot-scale tests were also performed, and the results demonstrate that more than 98% of CO2 in the feed gas could be removed and cyclic absorption capacity can reach 1 mol·L–1. This work indicates that mIm is an excellent alternative to alkanolamines for carbon capture in the industry.

Monitoring, modeling, and optimization of parameters affecting the recovery efficiency of acid gases from a sweetening unit

Amine processes are the advanced technology available today for the removal of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) acid gases. Methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) is a well-known tertiary amine used selectively for the removal of carbon dioxide from natural gas. There are many parameters that can affect the efficiency of separating these acid gases from natural gas. In this paper, we have studied, modeled, and optimized different operating parameters of sour gas feed and MDEA solution which affect the CO2 recovery efficiency from an existing sweetening unit. These operating parameters are the sour gas feed temperature and pressure, volume ratio (%) of carbon dioxide in the feed gas, amine inlet temperature, and amine circulation rate. Actual data were collected from an industrial CO2 sweetening unit over one year. These data were used to study the effect of the studied operating parameters on the recovery efficiency of CO2 from the sweetening unit. All studied operating parameters were found to have an impact on the recovery efficiency of the removed gases. A response surface methodology approach was used in Design-Expert software version 13 to model the relationship between considered operating parameters and CO2 recovery efficiency. In addition, Design Expert numerical optimization has been used to maximize CO2 recovery efficiency. The results showed that the optimal range of sour gas feed temperature is 34.71 to 45.56 °C, sour gas feed pressure is 8.32 to 10.04 barg, the volume ratio (%) of carbon dioxide in the sour gas feed is 8.51 to 10.15, the temperature of the amine is 38.03 to 43.96 °C, and the amine circulation rate is 788.39 to 1122.35 m3/h. The presented work can be considered as a guideline for increasing the recovery efficiency of CO2 for both new and existing sweetening units.

Rate-based modeling and energy optimization of acid gas removal from natural gas stream using various amine solutions

Reduction in energy consumption of industrial plants is always an essential need due to high cost, CO2 emissions and global warming caused by energy supply from fossil fuels for boilers and electricity consumers. Iran has been struggling to compensate the lack of gas supply for domestic and industrial demands in winter within the past decade despite of having large natural gas resources. One of the most economical methods to decrease energy requirements in hydrocarbon plants is process improvement and revamping by changing existing solvents. There are already 44 identical acid gas removal units under operation in the South Pars Gas Complex (located in Iran) with the same feed composition. The gas-sweetening unit in the Phase 12, operating with the solution of 45.5 wt% methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), was modeled by Aspen Plus for acid gas removal (CO2 and H2S) as a rate-based model with the application of electrolyte non–random two–liquid (E-NRTL) activity model and Peng–Robinson equation of state in addition to the actual characteristics of the absorber and regenerator, and the operational conditions of the gas and liquid streams. After validation of the model by the real data from the plant, the incumbent amine solution was replaced with five proposed amine solutions – one single and four blended amine mixtures – in the same mass concentration to select the most efficient alternative from the aspects of outlet acid gas concentration, H2S content in the treated flash gas, required total power, reboiler power supply, and regeneration heat duty. The simulation results revealed that H2S was sharply absorbed on the top of the column, while CO2 was smoothly removed from the gas phase to the MDEA and blended solutions along the absorber and it occurred at the bottom of the column for the DEA solution. The blended amine solution of 1.5 wt% sulfolane + 44 wt% MDEA (Sulfinol-M) has shown to be the most appropriate option instead of the solution of MDEA compared to other suggested absorbents, with several advantages such as higher selectivity of H2S over CO2, low temperature bulge, highest H2S loading, and outlet sweet gas flow rate while required total power, reboiler power supply, and regeneration heat duty were reduced by 21.19%, 21.26%, and 23.54% respectively. The operational conditions of the unit with the application of the Sulfinol-M solution were optimized to achieve three specifications (constraints) and the minimum required total power (objective function) through a sensitivity analysis and optimization using a genetic algorithm to assure the reliability of values for three independent parameters, namely, amine solution temperature, amine solution flow rate, and gas temperature. The optimum limits and values of these parameters were 47–50 °C, 220 – 240 ton/h, and 34 °C respectively.

Absorpsi CO2 Pada Wetted Wall Column dengan Variasi Laju Alir NaOH dan Konsentrasi Methyldiethanolamine

This research describes the biogas purification process by reducing CO2 content using NaOH solution as an absorbent and methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) as a promoter in Wetted Wall Column (WWC). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of MDEA concentration and flow rate of NaOH + MDEA solution on CO2 absorption. The column is made of acrylic material with a diameter of 4.5 cm, height 50 cm, equipped with a tube with a diameter of 1.27 cm, height 45 cm. The tube is in the center of the column. The flow rate of absorbent solution for each run was varied as 150, 200, 250 and 300 ml/min and the concentration of MDEA for each run was 4% wt and 6% wt in 1 M NaOH. The biogas flow rate was 6 L/min, which was fed from the bottom of the column. The samples were analyzed by Gas Chromatography 2014 AT (SHIMADZU Corp 08128). The results showed that at 6% NaOH + MDEA solution, the solution flow rate of 150 mL/min was the best. Under these conditions, the output CO2 content is 13.306% and the output CH4 content is 81.737%. The results of the output CO2 content did not reach the 90% target because the biogas was contaminated by gas from the environment and the lack of control over the condition of the equipment during the absorption process.

Исследование влияния примесей различного характера на пенообразование аминовых абсорбентов установок очистки высокосернистых газов

The article focuses on studying the foaming process in the amine solutions (diethanolamine (DEA) and methyldiethanolamine (MDEA)) on an example of the model mixtures containing different organic and inorganic impurities and their combinations: oxalic acid, formic acid, corrosion inhibitor, hydrocarbons, amine decomposition products, mechanical impurities. It has been found that the greatest influence on foaming in the DEA solution is exerted by its decomposition products containing the formic acid, and at a concentration of 3% by weight the foam height increased by more than 3 times, and the foam stability - by 20 times. Oxalic acid also has a significant effect on foaming: at a concentration of 1 g/l the foam height increased by 3 times, and the foam stability - by more than 5 times. The decomposition products of DEA containing oxalic acid have a rather noticeable effect - the height and stability of the foam increased by 2.8 and 6.8 times, respectively. The foam grew least in the presence of formic acid - by 2 times, at the same time the stability was enhanced by more than 4 times. It has been stated that hydrocarbons have the greatest influence on foaming of the MDEA solution - at a concentration of 0.5% vol. the foam height increased by more than 1.7 times, and the stability of the foam - by 5 times. Similarly, the decomposition products of MDEA made a significant impact – the foam height increased by more than 1.7 times, and the foam stability - by 11 times. Mechanical impurities caused an increase in the foam height by more than 1.6 times and in stability by 1.4 times. Introducing a corrosion inhibitor foaming gave the least result - the foam height decreased by 2.8 times, and the stability increased by 2 times. There has been found the mutual influence of impurities in the MDEA solution, which could be seen in the mutual suppression of foaming in the double and triple mixtures compared with the single-component solutions.

Solid base LDH-catalyzed ultrafast and efficient CO2 absorption into a tertiary amine solution

Due to its high capacity, low energy consumption, and low corrosiveness, chemical absorption using aqueous tertiary amine solutions is a potential approach for CO2 capture. The fundamental limitation of this technology is its low CO2 absorption kinetics (rate), which impedes its large-scale use. Here, five typical solid-base catalysts, MgAl-layered double hydroxide (LDH) and its corresponding layered double oxide (LDO), BaCO3, MgCO3, and CaCO3, were adopted to improve the rate of CO2 absorption in an aqueous methyldiethanolamine solution (MDEA). The results indicated that LDH and LDO promoted CO2 absorption, with LDH exhibiting significantly superior catalytic activity. In particular, compared to the non-catalytic absorption, using LDH considerably improved the CO2 absorption rate by 92.7%. The catalytic effects of LDH on CO2 absorption were demonstrated by 13C NMR and FT-IR techniques, and theoretical calculation. A possible catalytic CO2 absorption mechanism over LDH was suggested. Additionally, the stability of LDH was certified with 10 cyclic CO2 absorption–desorption experiments. The excellent catalytic CO2 absorption performance of LDH may be primarily owing to the chemical absorption improvement mechanism of basic sites. Therefore, the LDH-catalyzed CO2 absorption process is a promising option for increasing the CO2 absorption rate in tertiary amine solution. This work may open up a new approach to developing plentiful and affordable solid-base catalysts for CO2 capture technologies with faster absorption kinetics and lower energy requirement.

Enhanced CO2 absorption and reduced regeneration energy consumption using modified magnetic NPs

This study aimed to investigate the ability of nanofluids in improving CO2 absorption and reducing regeneration energy demand in a bubble column reactor in the presence of functionalized-magnetic NPs. The first step was to synthesize Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs), which were then functionalized with Aspartic-acid and Lysine. Next, to study CO2 absorption and stripping performances, the NPs with different concentrations were dispersed in an aqueous methyl diethanol amine (MDEA) solution (10 wt%). The investigation of CO2 absorption performance, CO2 loading and pH of all nanofluids were reported at different times of absorption experiments. The obtained results indicated that Fe3O4@Aspartic (Fe3O4@Asp) and Fe3O4@Lysine (Fe3O4@Lys) NPs improved CO2 loading up to 15.3% and 21.4%, respectively, as compared to Fe3O4 NPs. In addition, the functionalized-magnetic NPs showed more positive effects on CO2 desorption compared to bare Fe3O4. To show regeneration efficiency, the outlet gas flow rate and its CO2 concentration were measured and the CO2 loading and pH were determined at the end of the desorption experiment. The results revealed that at 70 °C, the CO2 loading was reduced by 58.9% and 55.1% applying Fe3O4@Lys and Fe3O4@Asp, respectively. Therefore, more energy could be saved in desorption process using functionalized magnetic NPs.

Selective removal of H2S over CO2 in a membrane gas–liquid microdisperison microreactor

Efficient selective removal of H2S over CO2 is the critical absorption process for the gas desulfurization in the petrochemical and refining industries. In this work, we tried to achieve high-selective removal of H2S from a mixed gas with CO2 using a nonaqueous methyldiethanolamine solution in a membrane gas–liquid microdispersion microreactor. The influence of structural parameters and operation parameters on the removal efficiency of H2S and CO2 were systematically investigated. In addition, the mechanism of selective absorption H2S over CO2 was explained in detail. Furthermore, the selective absorption performance of the membrane microdispersion microreactor was compared with other devices. The results showed that the H2S removal efficiency and selective factor could be up to 99.4 % and 16.6, respectively. The selectivity factor of H2S to CO2 in the membrane microdispersion microreactor is higher than that of most of reported devices. This work provides a promising selective absorption H2S device and technology for the process intensification of gas desulfurization.

Experimental investigation of carbon dioxide absorption by amine-based nanofluids containing two-dimensional hexagonal boron nitride nanostructures

In this research, the influence of the two-dimensional hexagonal boron nitride nanostructures (hBNNs) upon the process of carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption into the aqueous solution of methyl diethanolamine (MDEA) was investigated. The absorption tests were performed using the pressure drop technique in a stirred thermostatic reaction chamber. The hBNNs were synthesized through the sonication-assisted hydrolysis method and characterized by FTIR, XRD, FESEM, EDX, and TGA techniques. After synthesis and characterization, the nanostructures were dispersed in an aqueous MDEA solution at different concentrations via ultrasonication and without surfactants. The stability of the nanodispersions was measured by the zeta potential analysis. The effect of hBNNs loading, MDEA concentration in the base fluid, and amount of nanofluid on the absorption process was also studied. The results revealed that the addition of hBNNs into the base fluids up to a concentration of 0.025 wt% improves the initial CO2 absorption rate and the total amount of absorbed CO2, yet, by further increasing the concentration, the mentioned values are decreased. According to the absorption measurements, for the 5 wt% aqueous solution of MDEA containing 0.025 wt% hBNNs, the highest enhancement of the initial CO2 absorption rate and the total absorbed CO2 into the nanofluid were 5.1 and 3.98%, respectively. The results also indicated that higher MDEA concentrations weaken the enhancement effect of the nanofluids. Furthermore, it was observed that the effect of the nanofluids on the absorption process is independent of their amount. According to the experiments, hBNNs could be reused for at least five consecutive cycles, without a significant drop in the nanofluid efficiency. The results of this study indicated that the use of the two-dimensional hBNNs at very low concentrations improved the CO2 absorption process.

Elucidation of Operating Parameters Influencing the Ultrasonic-Assisted Absorption of Bulk CO2 Using Unpromoted and Promoted Methyldiethanolamine

Various acid gas sweetening processes can be used to separate CO2 from natural gas. As one of the most matured and widely utilized gas sweetening processes, absorption has been continuously improved to meet the stringent separation requirement. Ultrasonic irradiation has recently been introduced as an alternative technique to intensify the absorption process. Nevertheless, further studies are still needed to mature this new technique, particularly using slow kinetic absorbents possessing high inherent CO2 absorption capacity. Moreover, performing experimental studies using blended solvents in the high-frequency ultrasonic-assisted absorption system has also introduced a new idea in this field. This experimental study presents the CO2 absorption into aqueous solutions of methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) and piperazine (PZ)-promoted MDEA in an ultrasonic-assisted batch reactor. The influences of various operating parameters on CO2 absorption performance were evaluated in both promoted and unpromoted conditions. The parameters of the experiments included ultrasonic power at a frequency of 1.7 MHz, absorbent concentration, temperature, and CO2 partial pressure. Based on the results, ultrasonic power was found to be the most critical factor influencing the CO2 absorption rate. Moreover, the potential of the high-frequency ultrasonic-assisted CO2 absorption reactor was further elucidated via comparison with the conventional stirring and silent conditions under identical operating conditions. The highest CO2 absorption rate was achieved at an ultrasonic power of 12.36 W, a temperature of 70 °C, a CO2 partial pressure of 10 bar, an absorbent concentration of 50 wt %, and a promoter concentration of 5 wt %. In addition, the CO2 absorption rate in the high-frequency ultrasonic-assisted reactor using the MDEA absorbent was 28 and 52 times higher compared to stirring and silent conditions, respectively. The CO2 absorption rate enhancement was approximately 17 and 54 times higher for the PZ-MDEA.

Utilization of an innovative sono-microreactor for CO2 stripping from aqueous methyldiethanolamine solution

In the present study, a novel designed ultrasound-equipped microchannel reactor has been used to improve the CO2 desorption process from aqueous N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) solutions. CO2 desorption rate for a microreactor without ultrasound irradiation was compared with an ultrasound-equipped one at various temperatures, flow rates, and ultrasound powers. The results revealed that ultrasound vibrations could facilitate CO2 desorption and cause a significant increase in the rate of that through generation of cavitation bubbles and turbulence. Evaluation of energy and mass transfer characteristics was performed; 37.8% energy saving and 144.2% increase in mass transfer coefficient was obtained using ultrasound at its maximum power compared to microreactor without ultrasound irradiation. Also, comparisons between the designed sono-microreactor and conventional methods for CO2 desorption were performed in terms of desorption energy consumption and mass transfer coefficient, indicating 40.9% energy saving compared to 30 wt% MEA benchmark process and 160 times increase in mass transfer coefficient. Due to its high performance in terms of energy saving and mass transfer enhancement compared to the conventional method, the newly designed sono-microreactor can be introduced as a highly efficient technique for solvent regeneration.

Reduction of waste disposed to the environment through recycling of unused methyldiethanolamine

A 30% aqueous solution of waste methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) can be regenerated, reused in gas treatment, and its residue can be used as a secondary raw material in another area of production. (HOCH2CH2)2NСH3 is separated from water by a 30% aqueous vacuum-extraction method. MDEA and its destroyed part remain in the column. In laboratory conditions, it was shown that the degree of purification from destruction products by this method is from 60 to 78%. The analysis of the research results showed that the parameters of the main operational properties (density, viscosity, surface tension, foaming) of purified amine were significantly improved.

Formation of protective surface films on carbon steel in mildly alkaline aqueous alkanolamine CO2 solutions

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and open circuit potential (OCP) measurements, complemented by solution speciation predictions and ex situ surface analyses, were used to investigate film formation on carbon steel in CO2 saturated methyldiethanolamine(aq) solutions at 80 °C, pH 7.9–8.6. Pure FeCO3 films, evidenced by OCPs of ca. −0.5 to −0.4 V (SHE), were formed under anoxic conditions and provided corrosion protection to the underlying substrate, increasing charge transfer resistances tenfold. O2 ingress caused a positive OCP shift to ca. > +0.35 V (SHE), resulting in formation of traces of iron oxide at the interface, which was less protective.

Interrogating the chemical mechanism for carbon dioxide (CO2) reactivity in aqueous tertiary amine solutions: Can a simple parallel hydration reaction mechanism work?

AbstractIn this study, the kinetics of CO2 absorption into tertiary amine methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) was studied intensively using both experimental and theoretical approaches. The experimental work measured the kinetics of CO2(aq) react with MDEA over a range of concentrations including dilute (0.5–10.0 mM) and concentrated (0.5–2.5 M) solutions via stopped‐flow spectrophotometric at 25.0°C. The resulting kinetic data has been theoretically evaluated using three chemical reaction mechanism variants including the complete base catalysis mechanism, the simplified base catalysis mechanism, and the parallel CO2 hydration mechanism. Results showed that the simplified base catalysis mechanism in the absence of the kinetic pathways for CO2 via hydroxide and water is insufficient to predict the measured kinetic data while the complete base catalysis mechanism and parallel hydration mechanisms can accurately predict the kinetics of CO2 absorption into MDEA solutions. In particular, the experimental data of reversibility of the hydration reactions at low pH was in poor agreement with the simplified model predicted results. Given the simplicity of the parallel hydration mechanism with no requirement for determination of rate constants of the base catalysis reaction unlike the complete base catalysis mechanism, the parallel hydration mechanism can be considered the simplest and preferred mechanism describing the reaction between tertiary amine MDEA and CO2. © 2022 Society of Chemical Industry and John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Absorption of carbon dioxide in mixture of N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone and six different chemical solvents

Today, the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2) has increased sharply as a result of world industrialization and an increase in energy demand. Therefore, finding an economic way to reduce CO2 emissions has been considered a crucial subject for industries. In this research, the mixture of n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) and six various chemical solvents of monoethanolamine (MEA), methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), potassium carbonate (K2CO3), potassium glycinate (KGly), potassium argininate (KArg), and triethylenetetramine (TETA) is applied in a semi-continuous bubble column reactor system at pressure 1 bar and room temperature. Based on the result, the addition of the NMP to water causes the absorption capacity to increase. But, it has a negative effect on the absorption capacity of chemical absorbents so that the order of absorption is aqueous solvent (water 95 wt% + chemical compound 5 wt%) > semi-aqueous solvent (water 45 wt% + NMP 50 wt% + chemical compound 5 wt%) > non-aqueous solvent (NMP 95 wt% + chemical compound 5 wt%), respectively. TETA with 637 and 538% absorption enhancement among aqueous and semi-aqueous solvents, respectively, and MEA with 572% absorption increment compared to water among non-aqueous solvents have shown the best absorption capacity. Also, KArg has the highest CO2 loading (mole CO2/mole chemical), therefore, KArg is a promising solvent to use in CO2 absorption. Further, due to the inability of the bubble column to tolerate high pressures, the effect of pressure (2, 5, 10 and 30 bar) on MDEA solutions has been investigated in a high-pressure batch system at temperature 298 K. It has been observed that an increase in pressure strongly affects the performance of non-aqueous solvents. So, the non-aqueous solvents are more effective when the partial pressure of CO2 is high.

Reducing the impact of emissions of pollutants, including carbon dioxide, formed during the combustion of fossil fuels, can be carried out with the use of technologies of capture, disposal and burial. The absorption of CO2 after combustion is mainly used in operating boiler units – sources of emissions, where various solvent -absorbers are used for the chemisorption of carbon dioxide. The urgency of solving the problem of carbon dioxide capture from natural gas combustion products of industrial boilers is shown. A method of carbon dioxide capture by chemical absorption using solutions of methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) is proposed on the example of a production boiler house of JSC Altayvagon. Flue gases containing CO2 are supplied to the carbon dioxide workshop of the enterprise for cleaning, followed by the utilization of carbon dioxide, which is used at Altaivagon JSC for welding operations. The proposed chemosorbent MDEA of domestic production in comparison with the imported analogue currently used at the enterprise has certain advantages, which will reduce the circulation of the absorbent solution, use the chemosorbent more fully, reduce energy consumption; due to the low corrosion activity of the absorbent used and the absence of tar formation, the costs of maintenance and repair of equipment will decrease. Due to the use of domestic MDEA instead of imported analogues, as well as due to a longer service life of the absorbent without reducing its characteristics and adding fresh absorbent during operation, significant savings on the purchase of the absorbent will occur. Capturing emissions of pollutants from flue gases will solve the issues of both resource conservation and reduction of anthropogenic load on the environment. In addition, carbon dioxide capture will contribute to achieving carbon neutrality of the enterprise.
