Uplc Detection of Acid Dyes in Sports Drinks

In recent years, sports drinks continue to be pursued and admired by sports groups, especially sports enthusiasts. It can be said that as long as there is a drinks area, it will exist. Because of the vigorous development of sports drinks market, some unscrupulous businessmen, in order to seize the market, reduce costs, and seek huge profits, illegally addsynthetic colorants to the products to replace the natural colorants. In contrast to the various illegally added substances suitable for drinks, it is found that acid dyes,this kind of synthetic pigment can effectively reduce the production cost in the production, and the production process relative to the natural edible pigment is short in cycle, high in efficiency, and low in price, thus easy to be used by unscrupulous businessmen. In this paper, the detection of the most common illegally added substances - synthetic colorants in sports drinks is studied. It establishes ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) method for rapid detection of colour agent in the sports drink. The method is sensitive, efficient and good in separation effect, which can be used in routine testing for a variety of synthetic colorants - acidic industrial dyes in sports drinks.

Determination of dasatinib in the tablet dosage form by ultra high performance liquid chromatography, capillary zone electrophoresis, and sequential injection analysis.

Dasatinib is a novel oral prescription drug proposed for treating adult patients with chronic myeloid leukemia. Three analytical methods, namely ultra high performance liquid chromatography, capillary zone electrophoresis, and sequential injection analysis, were developed, validated, and compared for determination of the drug in the tablet dosage form. The total analysis time of optimized ultra high performance liquid chromatography and capillary zone electrophoresis methods was 2.0 and 2.2 min, respectively. Direct ultraviolet detection with detection wavelength of 322 nm was employed in both cases. The optimized sequential injection analysis method was based on spectrophotometric detection of dasatinib after a simple colorimetric reaction with folin ciocalteau reagent forming a blue-colored complex with an absorbance maximum at 745 nm. The total analysis time was 2.5 min. The ultra high performance liquid chromatography method provided the lowest detection and quantitation limits and the most precise and accurate results. All three newly developed methods were demonstrated to be specific, linear, sensitive, precise, and accurate, providing results satisfactorily meeting the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry, and can be employed for the routine determination of the active pharmaceutical ingredient in the tablet dosage form.

Identification and Determination of Phenolics in Lamiaceae Species by UPLC-DAD-ESI-MS/MS.

This study reports the phenolic profile screening of aromatic Lamiaceae species such as marjoram (Origanum majorana L.), lavender (Lavandula officinalis) and pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium L.) using a novel and validated ultra performance liquid chromatography method coupled with DAD diode array detector and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) in negative mode of electrospray ionization. Identification and quantification of phenolics in these plant extracts has been realized within 12 min. This method showed good precision (percentage relative standard deviation; RSD% 0.54-2.72 for intra-day, 1.71-4.64 for inter-day), reproducibility (percentage recovery, REC% 92.0-109.0) and linearity (r = 0.9988-0.9999). Limits of detection ranged from 0.02 to 18.2 ng/mL. The extraction of plants was performed using microwave-assisted extraction technique and 60% (v/v) aqueous methanol solvent medium was selected as suitable solvent because of maximum extraction efficiency. Total antioxidant capacity, total phenolic content and free radical scavenging activity of these plant extracts were tested and the results correlated well among each other. According to the Folin assay, phenolic contents of Origanum majorana L., Mentha pulegium L. and Lavandula officinalis were calculated as 119 ± 3.4, 85.1 ± 2.8 and 57.8 ± 2.1 mg GAE/g dry matter, respectively.

A New UPLC Method with Chemometric Design-Optimization Approach for the Simultaneous Quantitation of Brimonidine Tartrate and Timolol Maleate in an Eye Drop Preparation.

A new ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) with photodiode array was proposed for the quantitation of Brimonidine Tartrate (BRI) and Timolol Maleate (TIM) in eye drop using experimental design and optimization methodology. A 33 full factorial design was applied to uncover the effects of the selected factors and their interactions on the chromatographic response function for the optimization of experimental conditions in the development of a new UPLC method. As a result, the optimal chromatographic conditions giving a better separation and short analysis time were found to be 49.2°C for column temperature; 0.38 mL/min for flow rate and 56.7 % (v/v) for 0.1 M CH3COOH used in mobile phase. The elution of BRI and TIM was reported as 0.508 and 0.652 min within a short runtime of 1.5 min, respectively. Calibration graphs for BRI and TIM were obtained by the regression of the concentration on the peak area, which was detected at 246 and 298 nm, respectively. The method validation was performed by the analysis of the synthetic mixtures, intra-day and inter-day samples and standard addition samples. This study shows that the optimized and validated UPLC method is very promising and available for the quantification of BRI and TIM in an eye drop formulation.

Migration of formaldehyde and melamine from melaware and other amino resin tableware in real life service

ABSTRACTThe migration of formaldehyde and melamine monomers has been measured on 90 samples of plastic tableware in three different situations – new articles, already used articles and artificially aged articles – by using simulant, contact times and temperatures prescribed by Commission Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. Formaldehyde was determined by ultraviolet spectroscopy analysis of the coloured complex obtained by reaction with chromotropic acid. Melamine was measured by an ultra high performance liquid chromatography method. Fourier Transformed – Infrared Analysis was applied to characterise the plastic. The results highlighted the presence of different amino resins based on formaldehyde-melamine, urea-formaldehyde or melamine-urea-formaldehyde with different migration behaviour. The migration of monomers was related to progressive degradation of the resins. Ageing studies demonstrated that the potential degradation of the resins and the consequent migration of the monomers may continue throughout the service life of the product. The specific migration limit (SML) of melamine was exceeded after ageing.

Simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid and caffeine in commercial soft drinks using reversed-phase ultraperformance liquid chromatography

A new reversed-phase ultraperformance liquid chromatography method with a photodiode array detector was developed for the quantification of ascorbic acid (AA) and caffeine (CAF) in 11 different commercial drinks consisting of one energy drink and 10 ice tea drinks. Separation of the analyzed AA and CAF with an internal standard, caffeic acid, was performed on a Waters BEH C18 column (100 mm × 2.1 mm, 1.7 μm i.d.), using a mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and 0.2M H3PO4 (11:89, v/v) with a flow rate of 0.25 mL/min and an injection volume of 1.0 μL. Calibration graphs for AA and CAF were computed from the peak area ratio of AA/internal standard and CAF/internal standard detected at 244.0 nm and 273.6 nm, respectively. The developed reversed-phase ultraperformance liquid chromatography method was validated by analyzing standard addition samples. The proposed reversed-phase ultraperformance liquid chromatography method gave us successful results for the quantitative analysis of commercial drinks containing AA and CAF substances.

Extraction optimization of gallic acid, (+)-catechin, procyanidin-B2, (–)-epicatechin, (–)-epigallocatechin gallate, and (–)-epicatechin gallate: their simultaneous identification and quantification in Saraca asoca

The objective of the present investigation was to optimize extraction conditions for maximum recovery of bioactive phenolics from different parts of Saraca asoca. Extraction recovery was optimized using a mixture of methanol and water in different proportions. For identification and quantification of six analytes, a rapid reversed phase ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) photo diode array detection method was developed. UPLC separation was achieved in a gradient elution mode on a C18 column with acetonitrile and aqueous phosphoric acid (0.1%, pH = 2.5). Extraction solvent for maximum recovery of analytes varied depending on the nature of matrices. The developed UPLC method was validated in accordance with International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines. Wide linearity range, sensitivity, accuracy, short retention time, and simple mobile phase composition implied that the method could be suitable for routine analysis of all six analytes with high precision and accuracy. The uniqueness of this study is the determination of the distribution of these compounds in the various parts of S. asoca.

Multiresidue Pesticide Analysis Using QuEChERS Method in Vegetable Samples by Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography

A multi-residue Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC) method has been developed and validated for the determination and quantification of 30 pesticide residues in vegetable. Samples were prepared by QuEChERS (Quick, Easy, Cheap, Effective, Rugged, Safe) method using acetonitrile as a solvent. And an additional clean up step of PSA and GCB is used. The composition of mobile phase was optimized to get good peak resolution and sensitivity. The developed method showed an average spiked recoveries of more than 80.0% and 105.0%. The method was applied to determine the pesticide residues in cauliflower, cabbage, onion, potato, chilli, bendi, brinjal and tomato samples. Trace amounts of acephate and cabaryl were found in chilli and potato samples respectively.

Uplc method for determination of glibenclamide residual on manufacturing equipment

Pharmaceutical products may be contaminated by various substances such as microbiological contaminants, previous products (residues of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients), the residuals of cleaning products and residue generated during the cleaning process, using strong acids and bases, and degradation of detergents, acids and bases that can be used as part of the cleaning process. Requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice include prevention of possible contamination and cross-contamination arising from pharmaceutical starting materials, products, cleaning equipment. Appropriate purification techniques play an important role in the prevention of contamination and cross-contamination. Effective cleaning ensure reduction in the risk of contamination to the lowest acceptable level. Validation confirms the efficiency of the cleaning process, which is necessary to achieve adequate cleanliness of equipment to prevent product contamination. The aim of this work is to present ultra performance liquid chromatography method (UPLC) for determining residues of glibenclamide on production equipment. The optimum results were obtained were: column C-18; 2.1 mm x 50 mm; 1.7 μm, kept at 35°C. The mobile phase was 45% V/V acetoniril, contains 1 ml of phosphoric acid. Flow rate was 0.2 ml/min. UV detection was performed at 230 nm. The method has been validated accordance Guidelines ICH Q2 (R1).

Interaction between Darunavir and Etravirine Is Partly Mediated by CYP3A5 Polymorphism.

ObjectivesTo assess the impact of the loss-of-function CYP3A5*3 allele (rs776746, 6986A>G SNP) on darunavir (DRV) plasma concentrations.Methods135 HIV-1 infected patients treated with DRV-based therapy were included in the study and plasma samples were obtained immediately before drug intake in order to determine DRV trough concentrations using an ultra performance liquid chromatography method (UPLC) with diode-array detection (DAD). Noteworthy is the fact that in 16 (11.9%) patients, etravirine (ETR) was combined with DRV. CYP3A5 genotypes were determined using real time PCR method (TaqMan® genotyping assay). The patients were then classified into CYP3A5 expressors (CYP3A5*1 allele carriers) and non-expressors (CYP3A5*3 homozygous). Subsequently, the association between DRV plasma trough concentration ([DRV]plasma) and CYP3A5 genotype-based expression status was analyzed.Results45% of the patients were classified as CYP3A5 expressors. In the whole cohort, mean [DRV]plasma was not different between CYP3A5 expressors and non-expressors (1894ng/ml [CI95%: 1566–2290] versus 1737ng/ml [CI95%: 1468–2057], p = 0.43). However, in the subgroup of the 16 patients receiving DRV combined with ETR, a significantly lower [DRV]plasma was observed for CYP3A5 expressors when compared to non-expressors (1385ng/ml [CI95%:886.3–2165] versus 3141ng/ml [CI95%:2042–4831], p = 0.007).ConclusionsInteraction between DRV and ETR is partly mediated by CYP3A5 polymorphism with lower DRV plasma trough concentrations in CYP3A5 expressors suggesting a specific ETR-driven CYP3A5 activation only in CYP3A5 expressors. Consequently, these patients might be more at risk of infra-therapeutic [DRV]plasma. This potentially important observation is a good illustration of a genotype-based drug interaction, which could also have considerable consequences if translated to other CYP3A5-metabolized drugs. Further investigations are thus needed to confirm this association and to explore its clinical impact, mainly in the African population among whom CYP3A5 expressors are more frequent, before recommending systematic CYP3A5 pre-emptive genotyping for DRV-ETR co-administration.

A rapid method for the simultaneous determination of 25 anti-hypertensive compounds in dietary supplements using ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography

ABSTRACTA novel, stable, simple and specific ultra-performance liquid chromatography method with ultraviolet detection (205 nm) for the simultaneous analysis of 25 anti-hypertensive substances was developed. The method was validated according to the International Conference of Harmonisation guidelines with respect to linearity, accuracy, precision, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantitation (LOQ) and stability. From the ultra-performance liquid chromatography results, we identified the LOD and LOQ of solid samples to be 0.20–1.00 and 0.60–3.00 μg ml−1, respectively, while those of liquid samples were 0.30–1.20 and 0.90–3.60 μg ml−1, respectively. The linearity exceeded 0.9999, and the intra- and inter-day precisions were 0.15–6.48% and 0.28–8.67%, respectively. The intra- and inter-day accuracies were 82.25–111.42% and 80.70–115.64%, respectively, and the stability was lower than 12.9% (relative standard deviation). This method was applied to the monitoring of 97 commercially available dietary supplements obtained in Korea, such as pills, soft capsules, hard capsules, liquids, powders and tablets. The proposed method is accurate, precise and of high quality, and can be used for the routine, reproducible analysis and control of 25 anti-hypertensive substances in various dietary supplements. The work presented herein may help to prevent incidents related to food adulteration and restrict the illegal food market.

UPLC-PDA estimation of curcuminoids as marker compounds for Curcuma longa L. in spice mixtures and herbal formulations

A simple, sensitive and precise ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) method for the analysis of curcuminoids in spice products was developed and compared with high-performance liquid chromatography method. The method was validated in terms of linearity, range, precision, accuracy and the results of validation studies were within the acceptable range. The UPLC method was applied to analyse curcuminoids in spice mixtures, herbal pharmaceutical and cosmeceutical formulations to establish curcuminoids as marker compounds for the standardisation of turmeric products. The indicative content of turmeric in the formulations was also calculated by considering 1 g/100 g of curcuminoids in turmeric and most of the formulations were found to contain lesser amount of turmeric than that in label claim.

Simultaneous Quantification of Antioxidant Compounds in Phellinus igniarius Using Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography-Photodiode Array Detection-Electrospray Ionization Tandem Mass Spectrometry.

Natural antioxidants are widely used in the life sciences. Phellinus igniarius is a historically used natural antioxidant containing a variety of active compounds. Phenols, particularly Inoscavin A and Hypholomine B, are found in the high concentrations. Better quantitative methods are needed to perform quality control in order to support further research of this mushroom. An ultra-performance liquid chromatography method coupled to photodiode-array detection and an electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry method (UPLC-PAD-MS) was developed to simultaneously quantify Inoscavin A and Hypholomine B levels in the medicinal fungus Phellinus igniarius. The two compounds were quantified using UPLC-PAD and UPLC-MS. The methods were accurate (mean accuracy for spiked matrix ranged from 101.5% to 105.8%), sensitive (limit of detection ranged from 0.28 to 1.14 mg L-1) and precise (the relative standard deviations ranged from 0.13 to 2.8%). Inoscavin A and Hypholomine B were purified using high-speed counter-current chromatography (HSCCC), structural evaluated to meet the request of standard substances. UPLC separation was performed on a reversed-phase C18 column using gradient elution with acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid over 10 min. The developed method was successfully applied to determine Inoscavin A and Hypholomine B in twelve Phellinus igniarius samples of different origins and the results showed that it was suitable for the analysis of these active components in Phellinus igniarius samples.

Pretreatment of Shaoyao Gancao Decoction () alters pharmacokinetics of intravenous paclitaxel in rats.

To investigate the effect of Shaoyao Gancao Decoction (, SGD) on the pharmacokinetics of intravenously administered paclitaxel in rats. Paclitaxel was intravenously administered to rats (3 mg/kg) with or without the concomitant administration of SGD (752 mg/kg, a single day or 14 consecutive days pretreatment). The paclitaxel in the serum was quantified using a simple and rapid ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) method for the pharmacokinetic study. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated via a non-compartment model using the computer program DAS 2.0. The pharmacokinetic parameters of paclitaxel were significantly altered in response to 14 consecutive days of pretreatment with SGD. The area under the curve (AUC0-t, from 4 820±197 to 4 205±186 ng·mL-1·-1) and AUC0-∞ (from 5 237±280 to 4 514±210 ng·mL-1·-1) significantly decreased in response to the 14-day pretreatment with SGD. The values of Vdss (L/kg) were 10.74±1.08 and 9.35±0.49, those of CL (L/kg) were 0.67±0.03 and 0.57±0.03 and the t1/2 (h) values were 11.17±0.84 and 11.32±0.93, respectively, for the 14-day SGD pretreatment and intravenous paclitaxel alone. The AUC0-t and AUC0-∞ values decreased by 13% and 14% (P<0.01), respectively. The area under the curve decreased signifificantly (P<0.01), and the total clearance increased by 1.2-fold (P<0.01), after 14 consecutive days of pretreatment with SGD. A single-day pretreatment with SGD did not signifificantly affect the pharmacokinetic parameters of paclitaxel. SGD administration for 14 consecutive days increased the metabolism of paclitaxel, while a 1-day pretreatment had little effect. The results would contribute important information to the study on interaction between Chinese medicines and chemotherapy and also help to utilize SGD better in the adjunctive therapy of cancer patients.

Biphenyl Phytoalexin in Sorbus pohuashanensis Suspension Cell Induced by Yeast Extract.

Biphenyls are unique phytoalexins de novo synthesized in plants in response to pathogen attack. These compounds are found in Maloideae, a subfamily of the Rosaceae. The anti-microbial activities of biphenyls have been reported in a number of studies and they appear to represent an important defense strategy against pathogens common in the Maloideae, such as species in Malus, Pyrus, Sorbus, and Chaenomeles. Here, cell suspension cultures of Sorbus pohuashanensis were established to study biphenyl phytoalexins formation after yeast extract (YE) treatment. An ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) method coupled with quadrupole time of flight mass spectrometry (Q-TOF-MS) LC−MS/MS was applied to determine the time course of these biphenyl biomarkers accumulation in YE-treated S. pohuashanensis suspension cells. The results of quantitative analyses show the content of Noraucuparin, 2′-Hydroxyaucuparin, and their glycosides initially increased, then decreased over time. The Noraucuparin content reached its highest (225.76 μg·g−1) at 18 h after treatment, 6 hours earlier than that of Noraucuparin 5-O-β-d-glucopyranoside. The content of 2′-Hydroxyaucuparin reached its highest (422.75 μg·g−1) at 30 h after treatment, also earlier than that of its glycoside. The understanding of phytoalexin metabolism in this study may provide a basis for improving Maloideae resistance to pathogens.

Study of Forced Degradation Behaviour of Brinzolamide Using LC–ESI–Q-TOF and In Silico Toxicity Prediction

Brinzolamide (BZA) is a topical ophthalmic drug which is generally used to lower the intraocular pressure during glaucoma. It was subjected to forced degradation studies under hydrolytic (acidic, basic), oxidative, photolytic and thermal stress conditions; the drug degraded significantly in hydrolytic and oxidative conditions, leading to the formation of seven degradation products in total. It was stable on exposure to light and dry heat in the solid state. An ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) method was developed on a Waters CSH phenyl hexyl column (100 × 2.1 mm, 1.7 µm), using gradient elution of 0.1 % formic acid and methanol as mobile phase. The method was extended to quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (Q-TOF–MS) for the structural characterisation. All degradation products were comprehensively characterised by UHPLC–ESI/MS/MS experiments. The most probable mechanisms for the formation of degradation products were also proposed. In silico toxicity of the drug and its degradation products was determined using TOPKAT toxicity prediction software.

QbD-driven development and validation of an efficient bioanalytical UPLC method for estimation of olmesartan medoxomil

ABSTRACTThe present studies describe quality by design-based development of bioanalytical ultra performance liquid chromatography method of olmesartan medoxomil. Initially, method objectives were defined and critical analytical attributes (CAAs) earmarked. Method optimization was conducted using a central composite design for optimizing mobile phase ratio and injection volume as the critical method parameters (CMPs) identified from risk assessment and factor screening studies, and evaluated for their influence on peak area, theoretical plates, and asymmetry factor as CAAs. Chromatographic separation was achieved using acetonitrile:water solvent system containing 0.1% orthophosphoric acid (54:46, v/v) as the mobile phase with UV detection at 243 nm. Further optimization of bioanalytical extraction process was accomplished using a Box–Behnken design selecting extraction time, centrifugation speed, and centrifugation time as the CMPs identified from failure mode and effect analysis, and evaluated for percent recovery, peak asymmetry, and theoretical plate count as the CAAs. Establishment of calibration curve indicated linearity between concentration range of 100 and 800 ng mL−1, excellent accuracy and precision with limit of detection and limit of quantification as 6.2 and 19.0 ng mL−1, respectively. Drug stability studies indicated mean percent recovery ranging between 92.4 and 97.3% under various stress conditions.

Characterization of the Fluorescent Spectra and Intensity of Dabigatran and Dabigatran Etexilate: Application to HPLC Analysis with Fluorescent Detection†.

There is considerable interest in dabigatran etexilate (Pradaxa) and its major metabolite, dabigatran, which has been shown to be an important inhibitor of thrombin and clotting. In this study, the fluorescent excitation and emission spectra of dabigatran and dabigatran etexilate were characterized. In addition, a ultra performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method using fluorescent detection was developed for the analysis of dabigatran. Dabigatran and dabigatran etexilate were found to have excitation and emission maxima of 310 and 375 nm and 335 and 400 nm, respectively. UPLC analysis of dabigatran standards and plasma dabigatran samples were analyzed on a reversed phase C-18 column with methanol-water (70:30, v/v) as the mobile phase. The lower limit of quantitation for dabigatran was 10.0 ng/mL for both the standards and plasma samples. Standard curves were linear from 10.0 to 1000.0 ng/mL (R2=0.995). Within-day coefficient of variations of the fluorometric method at 50.0, 100.0 and 500.0 ng/mL were 1.38%, 4.83% and 2.31%, respectively. The intense fluorescent properties of dabigatran permit the sensitive and specific UPLC or HPLC fluorescent analysis of dabigatran.

A validated stability-indicating ultra performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of potential process-related impurities in eplerenone.

A simple, sensitive, and accurate stability-indicating analytical method has been developed and validated using ultra high performance liquid chromatography. The developed method is used to evaluate the related substances of eplerenone (EP). The degradation behavior of EP under stress conditions was determined, and the major degradants were identified by ultra high performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry. The chromatographic conditions were optimized using an impurity-spiked solution, and the samples, generated from forced degradation studies. The resolution of EP, its potential impurities, and its degradation products was performed on a Waters UPLC BEH C18 column (50×2.1 mm, 1.7 μm) by linear gradient elution using a mobile phase consisting of 10 mmol/L ammonium acetate adjusted to pH 4.5, methanol and acetonitrile. A photo-diode array detector set at 245 nm was used for detection. The flow rate was set at 0.3 mL/min. The procedure had good specificity, linearity (0.02-3.14 μg/mL), recovery (96.1-103.9%), limit of detection (0.01-0.02 μg/mL), limit of quantitation (0.03-0.05 μg/mL), and robustness. The correction factors of the process-related substances were calculated.

Rapid Fingerprint Analysis of Flos Carthami by Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography and Similarity Evaluation.

Flos Carthami (FC), the dried flower of Carthamus tinctorius L., has widely been used for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases in China. A rapid fingerprint analysis method of FC was established by ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) for the quality control. The analysis time was shortened by 45 min, from 75 min on conventional high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to 30 min on UPLC. Ten batches of FC samples from various sources were analyzed by the UPLC method. Coexisting peaks in FC chromatograms were chosen to calculate their relative retention time (RRT) and relative peak area (RPA). Thirteen characteristic peaks were illustrated on UPLC fingerprints. In the 24-h stability test, the relative standard deviation (RSD) for the RRT and RPA was <0.08% and 4.41%, respectively. The RSD for precision of the RRT and RPA was <0.05% and 4.26%, respectively. And the RSD for repeatability was <0.05% for the RRT and 3.91% for the RPA. The similarities of the 10 batches of FC were ranged from 0.938 to 0.995.Compared with the HPLC method, UPLC provided shorter analysis time, higher resolution and better separation performance, which is feasible for the quality control of FC.
