A systematic method of optimal location of sensors in the stochastic extrapolation problem is considered. After general formulation and the simplest practical case, an approximated criterion of optimal sensors' location is proposed. Finally, an example indicating the advantages of the systematic methods and the influence of nonhomogeneity of a random field on the locations of sensors is shown.
