Die immunelektrophoretische technik auf der zellulose-acetat-folie

Cellulose-acetate foil is also suitable as carrier medium for immuno-electrophoresis. In contradistinction to the technique in agar gel, the precipitation lines shown immuno-electrophoretically on the membrane foil concern mainly the proteins of the α 2, β and γ-range, whereas the fast-migrating proteins can be shown only incompletely. For the immunodiffusion, in the technique on cellulose-acetate foil a horse anti-human serum should be used. With the technique described, on the membrane foil the precipitation lines of 14 different serum proteins could be shown in a reliable manner; of these, 5 have been identified so far.
