The theory of weak interactions based on unsubtracted dispersion relations for weak interaction form factors is reviewed, and it is further developed. A new ap proach to the non-leptonic decay of hyperons is presented and compared with experi ment. The agreement is satisfactory, and it is also shown that the theory is capable of explaining the origin of the current algebra as well as a possible mechanism of CP violation without reference to the fictitious quarks.
