Tingkat Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa Kelas IV Ditinjau Dari Gender Di SD N Galiran

This research aims to analyze of mathematical reasoning ability student grade IV from gender in SD N Galiran.This research is quantitative correlation with correlation method. The population this research is student of grade IV in SD N Galiran in study year of 2022/2023 and than 28 student and sample with totally sampling technique. The instrument in the research is test questions of mathematical reasoning ability with 8 questions. The result in research get conclusion mathematical reasoning ability of male student is subordinate from female student with score presentation male student is 42,79% and female student is 57,20% and this research get conclusion to occur connection of mathematical reasoning ability with student gender with grade 0,142.

Pengaruh Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here terhadap Minat dan Hasil Belajar Matematika Materi Pecahan di Madrasah Ibtidaiah

The purpose of this study was to find out whether by applying the Everyone is teacher here learning method, there was an increase in the learning interest of fourth graders in the Mathematics subject matter of fractions at MI Tanwirul Mubtadiin Pendil-Banyuanyar. The method used in this research is classroom action research method. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Based on research that has been carried out in class IV MI Tanwirul Mubtadiin and from the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that through the learning method everyone is teacher here can increase student interest and learning outcomes. This is indicated by the increasing average mathematical reasoning ability and student interest from pre-cycle 40 to 65.71 in cycle 1 and increased to 88.57 in cycle 2. Likewise, students' interest in learning which was originally with a percentage of 52.04% in cycle 1 to 85.71% in cycle 2.

High School Course-Completion Trajectories and College Pathways for All: A Transcript Analysis Study on Elective Computer Science Courses

Whereas researchers regard high school math and science coursework as the best indicator of college readiness for students in the United States, computer science coursework and its relationship to college attendance, particularly for minoritized students, have not received due attention despite its root in the mathematical and scientific reasoning ability. We examined students’ high school course completion patterns across subjects and grade levels with a special focus on elective computer science courses and whether the coursework pattern transitions worked differently for minoritized students in Texas, USA. Latent profile analysis and latent transition analysis revealed multiple patterns of coursework, including Regular, Trailing, and Computer Science-Intensive. However, high school students seemed to attempt computer science courses with an experimental attitude. High school girls, low-income, and Latinx and African American students were less likely to complete computer science courses, despite demonstrating a similar coursework pattern in the previous year. Similarly, students with limited English proficiency, those eligible for free- or reduced-price lunch programs, and Native American students systematically have a lower chance to attend college, despite sufficient academic preparation in high school. Findings highlight the challenges minoritized students face and how students approach elective computer science courses in high school.

The Analysis of Parents' Understanding in Understanding Balanced Nutrition in Children

This study aims to describe the understanding of parents in fulfilling balanced nutrition in group B children of TK Pertiwi XI Merauke. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted in group B of TK Pertiwi XI Merauke. The research subjects were Parents, Teachers and Principals of TK Pertiwi XI Merauke. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation. The instrument used was a mathematical reasoning ability test sheet and a mathematical connection ability test sheet as well as student and teacher activity observation sheets. The results showed that the fulfillment of children's nutrition activities can be seen from the type of children's food which includes 4 healthy 5 perfect, the child's nutritional needs are quite good consisting of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals. This activity is very effective because it makes it easier for children to carry food and become independent. The Pertiwi XI Merauke Kindergarten teacher is quite creative in feeding children. Second, understanding of parents in fulfilling children's nutrition, of course, parents start from parental awareness to support optimal child development through nutrition fulfillment and nutrition fulfillment through child health checks in collaboration with the puskesmas. Teachers and parents must have obstacles to meet the different nutritional needs of children. Broadly speaking, parents already understand about the fulfillment of children's nutrition.

The Influence of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Learning Approach on Mathematical Reasoning Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar.

Mathematical reasoning ability is one of the learning objectives that are expected to develop optimally in students. But in reality, students' mathematical reasoning abilities cannot always be achieved by students optimally. This is also found in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. One of the factors that causes this to happen is the lack of trained students to use and develop mathematical reasoning skills properly. One of the efforts that can be done to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities is to apply a contextual teaching and learning approach. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the mathematical reasoning ability of students who used a contextual teaching and learning approach was better than the mathematical reasoning abilities of students who used conventional learning in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control design. design. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. Class VIII-7 was selected as the experimental class and class VIII-8 as the control class. The research instrument used was a final test sheet in the form of description questions to see students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Based on the analysis of the results of the final test of students' mathematical reasoning abilities, it was concluded that mathematical reasoning abilities by learning using a contextual teaching and learning approach were better than learning using conventional learning, which could be seen at an error rate of 5%. This shows that there is an influence on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The average test for the experimental class is 82.63 and the control class is 60.59

ANALISIS SOAL-SOAL MATEMATIKA TIPE HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS (HOTS) UNTUK MENDUKUNG KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA SMP

The ability to think logically and draw conclusions using logic is known as mathematical reasoning. Students understand how to use mathematical reasoning to manipulate formulas and properties, construct proofs, and explain ideas in mathematical statements. Answering HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) questions improves mathematical reasoning. HOTS questions are higher-order thinking skills questions that require a reasoning process to be demonstrated when knowledge and skills are applied in new or more complex contexts. The purpose of this research was to determine the results of an analysis of HOTS type questions that could aid students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This study takes a qualitative approach, with content analysis serving as the descriptive research method. The HOTS type of question was found in 9 of the 40 Madrasah Exam questions examined. Analysis of Students’ Mathematical Reasoning Abilities in Solving Linear Equation in Two Variables on Android Game Called Ganjaran

Game Penjelajah Ruang (The Space Exploration Game, Ganjaran) is a learning media in the form of an Android-based educational game to practice the mathematical reasoning skills of class VIII students on SPLDV questions. The purpose of this study was to describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities in solving SPLDV questions on Android-based of Ganjaran. The students' mathematical reasoning ability can be seen from the results of working on the SPLDV questions by students which are made based on mathematical reasoning indicators. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Krian as many as 4 students who had played the Ganjaran. The test instrument used in this study was a 5-point SPLDV reasoning question with short answers. From the results of the study, the average value of students' mathematical reasoning abilities was 56.25 which was quite sufficient. Overall, the indicator of mathematical reasoning ability that is mostly mastered by students is indicator c (drawing conclusions, compiling evidence, providing reasons or evidence for the correctness of the solution), while the indicator of student mathematical reasoning that is less mastered by students is indicator a (proposing conjectures).

Pengaruh Penggunaan Multimedia Interaktif Terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Peserta Didik Pada Materi Prisma

This study aims to examine the effect of interactive multimedia on students' mathematical reasoning abilities on prismatic material. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a post-test-only control group design. Students in one of the junior high schools in Gorontalo were the samples in this study, where class VIII-2 was the experimental class, and class VIII-1 was the control class. The experimental class was a class that was given learning treatment using interactive multimedia, and the control class was a class that was given learning treatment using PowerPoint. Data on students' mathematical reasoning abilities were collected by giving tests of mathematical reasoning abilities using questions in the form of descriptions. The data collected was then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained are the average mathematical reasoning ability of students in the experimental class is higher than the control class. These results are supported by the inferential analysis, which reveals that interactive multimedia has more effect on students' mathematical reasoning abilities than PowerPoint.

Pengaruh self-efficacy matematis terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam situasi online learning

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of mathematical self-efficacy on mathematical reasoning abilities in online learning situations. The research design is quantitative descriptive on 75 students of class XI SMA Negeri in one of Mataram City State. The data collection is in the form of a mathematical reasoning ability test score consisting of 5 items, and a 20-point SEM questionnaire. Data analysis using simple regression. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between mathematical self-efficacy and students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The simple regression equation, namely: Y = 38.075 + 0.483X explains how students' mathematical reasoning abilities can be improved by increasing mathematical self-efficacy. Observation of other factors in the formulation of the regression equation is important for further research, considering that the results of these findings show that the correlation between mathematical self-efficacy and mathematical reasoning ability is only 14.8%.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) Terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa SMP

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The population in this study were all students of class VII MTs. Al-Hidayah. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling, in which the sample was taken with certain considerations. Then it was found that class VII A had 28 students as the experimental class and class VII B had 28 students as the control class. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental (quasi experiment research) with a nonequivalent group design type. The research design at this time used was to provide a pretest and also a posttest in the experimental class and control class. The research instrument used was a test of mathematical reasoning abilities on students, amounting to 5 questions in the description of which the instrument had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of the t-test on the posttest data of the experimental class that have been carried out with a significant level of 5% are obtained by the price of t_ (count)> t table (2.4892> 2.0048) so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect of mathematical reasoning ability between students who are given the PBL learning model with those given the conventional learning model. Meanwhile, to determine the effect size of 0.67 with the classification of medium or medium. So it can be concluded that the PBL learning model has an influence on students' mathematical reasoning abilities

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL LITERASI MATEMATIKA DITINJAU DARI GAYA KOGNITIF SISWA

The purpose of this research is to describe the mathematical reasoning ability possessed by students have to solve mathematical literacy problems in a cognitive style. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive research design. The data collection techniques used are written tests and interviews. The validity of the data used is technical triangulation. Data analysis in this study is to reduce data, present data, and draw a conclusion. The instruments involved are the GEFT test to categorize students' cognitive styles that will be used in determining research subjects, a written test with mathematical literacy questions for SPLDV material and interview guidelines. The subjects used are 4 students in the field dependent and the field independent cognitive style. The results of this study indicate that FD students are less likely to make assumptions, formulate and provide reasons for solutions. But in terms of manipulating mathematics able to do well. In addition, in drawing conclusions and checking the validity of FD students, they were unable to do so. Meanwhile, FI students are able to make conjectures, manipulate mathematically, draw conclusions from statements and check the validity of an argument. However, in terms of drawing conclusions, compiling and giving reasons for solutions, FI students are less able to do so. So it can be concluded that the mathematical reasoning ability of FD students is lower than that of FI students.

STUDENTS' MATHEMATICS POWER VIEWED FROM THE STUDENT'S CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical power viewed from the students' critical thinking skills. This study was conducted at State Junior High School 3 Polokarto. The subjects of the study were determined using the snowball sampling technique. The research instrument was in the form of essay test questions and interview guidelines. The triangulation method was used as a reference to check the data. The data were analyzed using data collection, data reduction and data categorization, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) students with high critical thinking skills have good mathematical reasoning abilities with deductive mathematical reasoning models and they also have good mathematical communication and mathematical connections; 2) students with moderate critical abilities have deductive mathematical reasoning abilities with poor mathematical reasoning and mathematical communication skills, but they have good mathematical connections as e students have a longer time in understanding oral questions than written questions; and 3) students with low critical thinking skills have low mathematical deductive reasoning abilities, mathematical communication, and mathematical connections. The low students' mathematical power is caused by the difficulty in understanding the problem.

Analisis kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dengan pendekatan realistic mathematics education pada materi barisan dan deret

This study aims to describe and analyze the mathematical reasoning abilities of high school students with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in the material of sequences and series. The RME approach in this study was applied in the form of RME reasoning questions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects in this study were 33 students of class IX-E SMA, then reduction was made by taking three students, one with high, medium, and low reasoning abilities. The data was collected using an instrument of mathematical reasoning ability test in the form of an essay consisting of 4 valid and reliable questions, and by using interviews to obtain data in the form of student responses directly by providing a series of questions posed by the researcher to the subject. Based on the results of the study, several conclusions were obtained that the three subjects had a fairly good understanding of using questions that were close to examples in everyday life. Students who have high reasoning ability are able to master the five indicators of mathematical reasoning ability. Students who have moderate reasoning ability are only able to master three indicators of mathematical reasoning ability. Students who have low reasoning ability, are able to master one hand of mathematical reasoning ability.

Literature Review Using Think Talk Write (TTW) Cooperative Learning Model in Students' Mathematical Reasoning Ability

The purpose of this research is to analyze Think Talk Write (TTW) learning whether this model is effective in improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This type of research is a literature review related to the theory of the Think Talk Write (TTW) type cooperative learning model and mathematical reasoning abilities. This research uses library materials as the main data source that discusses the effectiveness of using cooperative learning models to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The selection of sources from the literature review is chosen according to the development of the journal for the last 5 years, namely 2018 to 2022. Reasoning ability is the ability to draw conclusions or make new statements based on previous statements. For cooperative learning model type Think Talk Write (TTW) is an activity to think about reading material by listening, criticizing, and providing solutions. The results of this study indicate that increasing mathematical reasoning ability is more effective using Think Talk Write (TTW) compared to conventional learning, because the use of Think Talk Write (TTW) type learning model will make students understand the material better because they learn from thinking, compiling, testing. , reflect, and write down ideas.

The development of analytical rubrics: An avenue to assess students' mathematical reasoning behavior

A rubric is a logical set of criteria that teachers can use to evaluate students to determine criteria for obtaining complex competencies. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop a rubric and assess its effectiveness in evaluating students' mathematical reasoning behavior when solving mathematical problems. This rubric was developed based on four stages: reflecting, listing, grouping, and applying using generic model research design in education. Furthermore, the meta-rubric and expert input results are applied to improve its quality. The results showed that the rubric developed was able to consistently provide more feedback and provide teachers with additional opportunities to optimally assess the mathematical reasoning behavior of the students. This study recommends that there be further studies on the ability of teachers to understand students' mathematical reasoning levels to help students progress from the lowest level of reasoning to the highest level. Improving learning activities and mathematical reasoning skills for class x students applying problem-based learning

Mathematical reasoning abilities and learning activities of MAN 2 Kota Padang students are still low. Several aspects are believed to be the cause of the low reasoning ability, one of which is the monotonous learning model. The purpose of this study was to improve the activity and mathematical reasoning abilities of class X students through a problem-based learning model using the Class Action Research (CAR) method. The research subjects were students of class X IPA 9 MAN 2 Kota Padang, totaling 36 people. The data in this study were collected through student activity observation sheets, mathematical reasoning ability tests carried out at the end of the cycle, practice questions, field notes, videotaping and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the Problem-Based Learning model could increase student activity but could not significantly improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The completeness of the mathematical reasoning ability test results obtained by students at the end of the study only reached 8%, far below the research target of 50%.

Analysis of Students Mathematical Reasoning Abilities in Terms of Self-Regulated Learning

The implementation of research activities in this paper is intended to provide an analysis related to the ability of students to reason mathematically in terms of self-regulated learning using qualitative methods and descriptive approaches. Data collection techniques will be obtained through filling out 6 test questions, 28 questionnaire statements, and interview activities. The subjects to be observed were carried out through a technique called purposive sampling so that 6 students were obtained which were divided into two students in each category. The datta will be arranged sequentially using data analysis technique consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the data found identify that students in the high self-regulated learning category have mathematical reasoning abilities as well. Furthermore, students in the medium categori have the ability to do moderate mathematical reasoning. Finally, students who are in the low category have low mathematical reasoning abilities. So based on the data above, it can be concluded that the higher the level of self-regulated learning. The less likely it is to make mistakes in solving problem related to the ability to do mathematical reasoning. The gives an indication that the better the level of intelligence and critical thinking that a person has, the mathematical reasoning ability will follow in the same.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN AUDITORY INTELLECTUALLY REPETITION (AIR) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN DAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIK PESERTA DIDIK SMP

The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in the mathematical reasoning and communication skills of junior high school students by applying the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a design pretest-posttest control group desaign. The population of this study were all students of class IX MTs Diponegoro in the 2021/2022 school year. The type of sample used in this study was random assignment. As for the research sample, two classes were selected, namely class IX A as the control class and class IX B as the experimental class. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and tests. The observation sheet was used to determine the suitability of learning in the classroom with Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model. The test instrument used in this study was a description question to measure students' mathematical reasoning and communication abilities. The data obtained were processed with two statistical data processing programs, namely SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the increase in the reasoning ability of the experimental class was in the medium classification and the control class was in the low classification. Meanwhile, for the improvement of mathematical communication skills, the experimental class is in the medium classification and the control class is in the low classification. So that the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) learning model can improve students' mathematical reasoning and communication skills. Problem-Solving-Oriented Training Teaching Method to Improve Mathematical Logical Reasoning Ability on Middle School Students

With the deepening of the reform and development of the new curriculum education in the 21st century, the mathematics core accomplishment has been paid more and more attention by middle school teachers, among which, the logical reasoning ability is one of the important contents of the mathematics core accomplishment in middle school. The research purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of middle school students mathematical logical reasoning ability is not strong, starting from the mathematical problem itself, to explore how to cultivate students' logical reasoning thinking ability and teaching methods. This paper adopts the literature analysis method to summarize and analyze the relevant literature, uses the case analysis method to deeply analyze the relevant classic examples, and uses the statistical analysis method to analyze the students' logical reasoning literacy. Through the analysis of cases and students, this study believes that having the ability of mathematical logic reasoning can help students to solve mathematical problems, and similarly, it also promotes the development of students' mathematical logic reasoning ability in the process of solving problems. When cultivating students logical reasoning ability in problem-solving problems, we can start from the following aspects, 1. Pay attention to the study of basic knowledge, 2. Cultivate students' observation ability, 3. Analysis and prove with the help of innovative problems.
