COMMON FIXED POINTS OF NONCOMMUTING DISCONTINUOUS WEAKLY CONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS IN CONE METRIC SPACES

In this paper we prove the existence of coincidence points and common fixed points for a large class of noncommuting discontinuous contractive type mappings in cone metric spaces. These results generalize, extend and unify several well-known recent related results in literature.

Fixed Point Results for Multivalued Maps in Cone Metric Spaces

We prove some fixed point theorems for multivalued maps in cone metric spaces. We improve and extend a number of known fixed point results including the corresponding recent fixed point results of Feng and Liu (1996) and Chifu and Petrusel (1997). The remarks and example provide improvement in the mentioned results.

The aim of this paper is to present coincidence point result for two mappings in cone metric space which satisfy new contractive conditions. Our results generalize fixed point theorems of Jungck [G. Fisher, Four mappings with a common fixed point. (Arabic summary), J. Univ. Kuwait Sci. 8 (1981) 131–139] in cone metric spaces to symmetric spaces.

KKM mappings in cone metric spaces and some fixed point theorems

In this paper, we define KKM mappings in cone metric spaces and define N ℜ -cone metric spaces to obtain some fixed point theorems and hence generalize the results obtained in [A. Amini, M. Fakhar, J. Zafarani, KKM mapping in metric spaces, Nonlinear Anal. 60 (2005) 1045–1052].

Remarks on “Quasi-contraction on a cone metric space”

Recently, D. Ilić and V. Rakočević [D. Ilić, V. Rakočević, Quasi-contraction on a cone metric space, Appl. Math. Lett. (2008) doi:10.1016/j.aml.2008.08.011] proved a fixed point theorem for quasi-contractive mappings in cone metric spaces when the underlying cone is normal. The aim of this paper is to prove this and some related results without using the normality condition.

Fixed point theorem for two non-self mappings in cone metric spaces

In this paper we extend a fixed point theorem of Imdad and Kumar, for a pair of non-self maps, to non-normal cone spaces.

Common fixed points of two maps in cone metric spaces

We prove the existence of points of coincidence and common fixed points of a pair of self-mappings satisfying a generalized contractive condition in cone metric spaces. Our results generalize several well-known recent and classical results.
