Management of Islamic Education Curriculum Development in Tanjungpinang City

The current phenomenon is that there are still many curricula that need improvement with regard to Islamic values. This happens due to the change of curriculum every time in the development of the learning process, one of which is in Tanjungpinang City. The purpose of this research is to further identify the administrative or management process in the development of the Islamic education curriculum in Tanjungpinang City. The research method used is to conduct a literature study process on references related to the research, this type of research is descriptive qualitative and the data analysis technique used is drawing conclusions. The results of the research obtained are (1) There is still a need for improvement of the Islamic Education curriculum at the initial level, namely public and integrated Islamic elementary schools in Tanjungpinang City, (2) The implementation of teacher capacity building in educating students by holding internal school meetings and preparing curriculum recommendations that are appropriate to be taught in public and integrated Islamic elementary schools in Tanjungpinang City. The conclusion obtained in this study is that Tanjungpinang City has endeavoured to develop Islamic education management in schools in Tanjungpinang City, especially at the elementary school level. Not only that, professional competence is carried out in the form of Continuing Professional Development (PKB) for teachers.

Effective Laboratory Management: Efforts to Improve Science Education Management in Islamic Boarding Schools

Effective laboratory management can be applied as an effort to improve science education management in secondary schools. This study aims to explore effective laboratory management as an effort to improve science education management at MA Citra Cendekia South Jakarta. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and laboratory staff, and analysis of related documents. The results showed that effective laboratory management involves several important aspects, namely careful planning, procurement and maintenance of adequate laboratory equipment, and competency development of teachers and laboratory technicians. In addition, collaboration between science teachers and laboratory staff in designing and conducting experiments also contributes significantly to improving the quality of science learning. The implementation of good laboratory management at MA Citra Cendekia South Jakarta is proven to be able to increase student learning motivation, improve understanding of science concepts, and produce more interactive and contextualised learning. This study concludes that effective laboratory management is one of the key factors in improving the quality of science education in Islamic educational institutions.

Islamic Boarding Education Management Reform: Transformation Strategies to Improve Competitiveness and Relevance

This study explores the reform of Islamic boarding school (pesantren) education management and transformation strategies aimed at enhancing competitiveness and relevance in the context of globalization and modern educational challenges. The focus is on understanding how pesantren can adapt and thrive in the evolving educational landscape. Utilizing a qualitative approach, this literature review examines various sources related to pesantren education management reforms and transformation strategies implemented in several Indonesian pesantren. The study systematically analyzes existing literature to identify key themes and insights. The findings reveal significant challenges faced by pesantren, including outdated management practices, limited resources, and resistance to change. However, several pesantren have successfully implemented transformation strategies such as curriculum modernization, the integration of technology in teaching, and the development of partnerships with external educational institutions. These strategies have significantly improved the competitiveness and relevance of these institutions. The study highlights the critical role of stakeholders, including educators, administrators, and policymakers, in driving the reform process. Effective leadership, community involvement, and continuous professional development are identified as crucial factors in achieving successful transformations. The insights gained underscore the importance of adaptive and innovative approaches in education management to meet contemporary demands. This research provides valuable insights into the strategies and challenges of reforming pesantren education management. The successful implementation of transformation strategies can enhance the competitiveness and relevance of pesantren, enabling them to meet the demands of modern education and globalization. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies to assess the long-term impact of these reforms and explore additional strategies to further improve pesantren education management.

Education Management in Multicultural Schools: Building Tolerance and Inclusion

This research examines educational management strategies in multicultural schools with a focus on building tolerance and inclusion in the educational environment. Multicultural schools face unique challenges in integrating students from different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. This research aims to identify effective managerial approaches in creating an inclusive and tolerant learning environment. Through qualitative methods, data were collected from in-depth interviews with principals, teachers and students in several multicultural schools. The results showed that successful education management in multicultural schools relies heavily on inclusive policies, continuous teacher training and active participation from the school community. The implementation of a curriculum that values cultural diversity and extracurricular programs that promote intercultural interaction were also found to contribute significantly to building tolerance among students. This study suggests that national education policies should further support multicultural schools by providing the necessary resources and guidance to manage diversity. Thus, effective education management in multicultural schools can play an important role in creating a more tolerant and inclusive generation.

The study is dedicated to identifying the peculiarities of the formation of the content of primary education in Great Britain. In the modern conditions of globalization the study of the main laws affecting the formation and modernization of primary education content in Great Britain is relevant and necessary for the domestic national education system development. The research aim: to reveal the organizational and managerial conditions for the formation of primary education content in Great Britain. Methods of research: analysis, synthesis, generalization, specification, and comparison. Primary education in Great Britain occupies a prominent place in the education system, it is the basis of schooling. The content of education, primary including, is based on a combination of three key components: the formation of a management system based on educational results; stimulation of diverse cooperation of education subjects; implementation of freedom of choice principles. The countryʼs educational policy is aimed at developing and modernizing the content of primary education while preserving the country culture and history. In Great Britain, organizational and management actions are considered in terms of modern trends of management decentralization and centralization in the field of school education. The model of strategic development, financing, and management of general school education is an organizational condition for the formation of the primary school education content. The British centralized model of school education is a single-state management of general education throughout the country. Standardization is the basis of the organizational and management model of the formation of the content of primary education, which is mandatory with a variable structural and content component, implemented through the National Curriculum. Formation of primary education content in Great Britain depends on many factors, including the basic organizational and management conditions, which is a model of strategic development, management, and financing of general school education.

This research aims to determine the educational management of the Nurul Huda Islamic boarding school in the 5.0 era. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach, with the research object being the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School. Data analysis used analysis before in the field and during the field such as data reduction, data presentation, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. Data collection procedures commonly used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that in implementing the quality management of Islamic boarding schools, cooperation, and mutual reminders are needed so that the work programs that have been designed continue to improve so that the quality of Islamic boarding school education and graduates will be great. There are several supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of quality management in Islamic boarding schools, namely lack of awareness of the management in carrying out the tasks and responsibilities that have been given because they are busy with their interests, teachers are less active in teaching and often neglect the work program that has been designed. so that in its implementation many work programs were neglected. In conclusion, the quality management of Islamic boarding school education needs to be formulated carefully to be able to produce quality educational output. Digital leadership: a systematic literature review and future research agenda

PurposeIn view of the increasing exploration and scattered literature on digital leadership, this study aims to clarify the concept, characteristics and structure of digital leadership, identify its focus research themes and further determine future research directions in this field.Design/methodology/approachA systematic literature review is adopted in this study using 53 academic documents published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, which comprehensively combs and analyzes the research achievements.FindingsThe key characteristics of digital leadership are vision motivation, digital empowerment, innovation and entrepreneurship, cross-boundary collaboration and dynamic adaptation. Digital strategic thinking, digital insight, digital change and digital talent development are the core dimensions of digital leadership. Besides, there are three main research topics: the application of digital leadership in certain contexts including school education, government governance and business management; the development of digital leadership scale within diverse contexts; and the effectiveness of digital leadership at the organizational, team and individual levels. Digital leadership has a positive role in organizational change and innovation, team effectiveness, and employee creativity and innovation behavior.Originality/valueThis study helps to clarify the connotation of digital leadership and its research progress, status and gaps, which contributes to the thorough knowledge system in the digital leadership area and the promising avenues for future research.

Management of Secondary School Education and Politics in Nigerian: Its Implications in a Changing World

The interplay of politics and education cannot be over emphasized, it is drawn from the development of human beings in the society. Various societies developed from the ancient era where people subject themselves to authorities for leadership and control. Based on the permissibility of the authorities, the agents of societal development as economic, cultural, social, and political are influenced directly or indirectly by the authorities. Based on these axioms, this paper is anchored on management of secondary school education and politics in Nigeria: its implication in a changing world. The interplay of these two variables were considered from various diversities of educational finance, curriculum design, educational development, student’s evaluation and teachers union. This paper however, suggested that appointment of educational leadership should be based on merit, policies should be made in line with the needs of the society. Student teaching and learning should be directed to the needs of the society and economy. Curriculum development should be designed to focus on the overall aims and objectives of Nigeria's education system to meet with other societies of the world no matter who is involved. Teachers’ unions should be allowed to function independently without political interference to strengthen the union and pursue its objectives vigorously. Finally, education in Nigeria should be adequately financed to effectively and efficiently meet contemporary societal demands in a changing world.

Principal Strategies in School Management at the State Vocational High School

This article aims to describe the principal's management in implementing education management in vocational high schools. This article uses case study research with data collection from observation interviews and documentation. The informants consist of the principal, vice principal, teachers, staff, and some school members. The findings of this study are Program implementation at SMK Negeri 1 Dlanggu has a prominent position compared to other elements of the education management standard. Each program is implemented by each school community with a high level of awareness and with a predetermined division of tasks. Monitoring and evaluation are carried out based on the education management standards that have been set. School leadership at SMK Negeri 1 Dlanggu follows the education management standard. This can be seen from the hierarchical structure consisting of the Principal, Vice Principal, and Affairs Coordinator. Each member of the leadership team is aware of their respective roles and responsibilities, and they work collaboratively to improve overall school management, with the ultimate goal of achieving educational excellence. The development of the management information system shows relatively good results, although there is still room for further improvement in the utilization of resources to facilitate school administration and management.

This study aims to obtain an overview of the influence of salafi Islamic boarding school education management on student achievement in MA Al-Islah. The educational background of children at salafi Islamic boarding schools is a supporting factor for student achievement. Because in salafi Islamic boarding schools, children study a lot of religious knowledge taught by a kiyai. Learning achievement is evidence of learning success or one's ability to carry out learning activities in accordance with the weight achieved. The question is how does the educational background of children at Salafi Islamic boarding schools affect student achievement at MA Al-Islah Cikeusal. Based on the background of the problems above, the formulation The problems in this study are: 1) What are the differences between children who study at salafi Islamic boarding schools and children who do not study at salafi Islamic boarding schools? 2) How is student achievement in fiqh subjects at MA Al-Islah Cikeusal? 3) What is the influence of the educational background of children in salafi Islamic boarding schools on student achievement in fiqh subjects at MA Al-Islah Cikeusal? The aims of this study were: 1) to find out the differences between children who study at salafi Islamic boarding schools and children who do not study at salafi Islamic boarding schools 2) to determine student achievement in fiqh subjects at MA Al-Islah Cikeusal. 3) to determine the effect of the educational background of children in salafi Islamic boarding schools on student achievement in fiqh subjects at MA Al-Islah Cikeusal. This research was conducted at MA Al-Islah Cikeusal. With a total sample of 40 people from a population of 200 students. The population was taken from all students of class XI and class XII MA Al-Islah Cikeusal. The method used is field research, namely research conducted directly to the subject through a questionnaire technique, a series of questions that must be answered by the respondent. The approach used in this thesis is a correlational analysis approach, namely testing the effect of the educational background of children in salafi Islamic boarding schools (Variable X) on student achievement (Variable Y) using the product moment correlation formula. The conclusions obtained from the results of this study are: Based on the results of correlation analysis using Product Moment, it shows a correlation position of rxy 0.31. This shows a low correlation, this is shown by the results of 41.39 th which is greater than tt 0.95, so tcount is greater than ttable. As for the influence of the contribution (coefficient of determination) of the educational background of children in salafi Islamic boarding schools (Variable X) on student achievement (Variable Y) of 9.61%, the remaining 90.39% is influenced by other factors that can be re-examined both internally and externally. external.

Analysis of the Existing Problems in the Management of Basic Education Schools

Under the background of the deepening of education reform, school education management is faced with more challenges and opportunities, which requires education managers to constantly change their teaching concepts and strengthen their attention to students' study and life. As an important part of school education and teaching work, the school management of basic education can not only effectively promote the smooth development of school education and teaching activities, but also effectively promote the all-round development of students. However, there are still some problems in the management of many basic education schools, which to a large extent hinders the smooth development of basic education school education and teaching work. This paper analyzes and expounds the existing problems in the management of basic education schools in detail, and puts forward some measures to improve the management of basic education schools, aiming to provide reference for relevant educators.

The Concept Of Education Management In The Post-Conflict Regions Of West Kalimantan: A Study Of Ibn Khaldun’s Thought

This article discusses the management of education in schools in the thought of Ibn Khaldun. The approach used in this study is qualitative, and the type of research is literature research. This research combines data collection techniques with document studies so that data in the form of journals and books related to Ibn Khaldun are used as primary sources in this study and refer to the work of Ibn Khaldun. The data used relates to Ibn Khaldun’s thoughts on Islamic education management. This research shows that, at least in the implementation of education management in schools, four aspects are mutually integrated: educators, students, learning materials, and learning methods. Ibn Khaldun’s perspective on educational management can be applied to educational institutions such as the Madrasah in West Kalimantan. Moreover, educational practices in West Kalimantan are still unable to overcome problems, especially in building an atmosphere of peace between students, both ethnic and religious. Educators in Madrasah, especially in West Kalimantan, can integrate learning materials with tolerance and student backgrounds without raising ethnic or religious stereotypes. The learning method can be done by understanding the material and mapping the material that can be related to building peace in West Kalimantan.

OPTIMIZATION OF SCHOOL EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT: ACADEMIC EVALUATION AND SUPERVISION

The objective of this research is to optimise school education management through academic evaluation and supervision. The method employed in this research is qualitative research, specifically using a case study approach. The use of a case study is chosen because it allows the researcher to deeply understand the context, processes, and complexities of the phenomenon under investigation. The research findings indicate that the optimisation of education management has made significant progress through the evaluation and supervision conducted by school principals and relevant supervisors. However, challenges such as additional workload, the need for leadership skill enhancement, and the involvement of parents and the community still need to be addressed. Strategic steps that can be taken to overcome these challenges include increased investment in professional training and development, expanded collaboration with external parties, and the strengthening of the role of parents and the community in evaluation and supervision. Other measures involve implementing mentoring programmes, advocating for changes in the education system, and investing in educational technology infrastructure.

Cross-entropy method for interval-valued neutrosophic number multiple attribute decision making for education quality management evaluation in higher education institutions

Under the premise of today’s socialist modernization construction, the development and progress of the country require more outstanding talents such as aspiring youth and intellectuals to participate, which puts forward higher requirements for education quality indicators and various aspects of operation. As the main institution and environment for implementing educational activities, the effectiveness of school management organization has a direct impact and even a decisive role on the quality of education. Therefore, how to improve the quality management of school education has become a hot topic in the education industry. The education quality management evaluation in higher education institutions is viewed as the multiple-attribute decision-making (MADM) issue. In this paper, the interval-valued neutrosophic number cross-entropy (IVNN-CE) technique is built under interval-valued neutrosophic sets (IVNSs) based on the traditional cross-entropy technique. Then, combine traditional cross-entropy technique with IVNSs, the IVNN-CE technique is constructed for MADM under IVNSs. Finally, the numerical example for education quality management evaluation in higher education institutions was constructed and some comparisons is employed to verify advantages of IVNN-CE technique. The main contribution of this paper is constructed: (1) the cross-entropy model is extended to IVNSs; (1) the CRITIC technique is employed to construct the attribute weights under IVNSs; (3) the IVNN-CE technique is constructed to manage the MADM under IVNSs; (4) a case study about education quality management evaluation in higher education institutions is constructed to show the built technique; (5) some comparative algorithms are constructed to verify the rationality of IVNN-CE technique.

Application of Balanced Scorecard in Performance Evaluation of Educational Management

Abstract Good or lousy school education management is closely related to students’ growth, so research on the improvement of education management performance has become a hot topic. Taking School H as an example, this study utilizes the balanced scorecard to construct a system for evaluating school education performance at four levels: financial, customer satisfaction, internal operation processes, and learning and growth. Based on this basis, the weights of the educational management performance evaluation indicators at all levels are calculated by combining the entropy method and hierarchical analysis method, and the comprehensive evaluation scores of all indicators are derived. In addition, the multiple concurrent causal relationships and realization paths of the high-level development of educational management are also explored using the qualitative comparative analysis model. The results show that the evaluation score of educational management quality is 4.108, and the scores of each dimension of the secondary indexes are 4.102, 4.05, 4.13, and 4.15, respectively, which are above 4, indicating that the quality of educational management in the sample universities is good. This study provides the implementation steps of balanced scorecard performance evaluation for colleges and universities and, at the same time, provides a reference for other colleges and universities’ performance evaluations.

High school education management: Significance of teacher care in student learning

In order to find out how different high school students' perceptions of teachers' caring behaviors affect their ability to learn and how well they do in school. A total of 259 individuals in their sophomore year of high school were chosen for the study using a convenience sample technique. Our survey data was analyzed statistically using the following instruments: teacher care behavior questionnaire, learning efficacy questionnaire, perceived stress and motivation questionnaire. There are three types of research subjects that can be classified based on how high school students perceive the pressure and motivation from teachers regarding care behavior: dynamic type, balanced type, and pressure type. The former group has high scores for both factors, while the latter has low scores for dynamic perception. There was a positive correlation (P<0.05) between the caring behavior of teachers in dynamic research subjects and learning efficacy, and a positive correlation (P<0.05) between the caring behavior of teachers in balanced research subjects and exam scores and learning efficacy. The correlation analysis revealed that the learning efficacy of balanced research subjects was positively correlated with two indicators: exam scores and class ranking, and with a positive correlation between the learning efficacy of dynamic research subjects and class ranking. The analysis of the mediating effect found that learning efficacy plays a complete mediating role in the prediction of teacher care behavior on exam scores.
