1. The magnetomechanical mechanisms of damping in ferromagnetic plasma coatings are not realized because of the high dispersity of the structure of these coatings and the elevated level of distortions in them. 2. Microplastic deformation responsible for the high level of damping properties of these “soft” porous plasma coatings with a diminished strength is activated substantially. 3. We have shown that it is possible to combine the two damping mechanisms, i.e., the magnetomechanical and the dislocation ones.
