FPQSPN and Its Application in Analysis of Ethernet

FPQSPN is a high level Petri net model allowing simplified analysis of systems loaded by finitely large population. FPQSPN is nearly as graphical and easy to implement as low-level nets models. Here we present the definition of FPQSPN and we present its application to throughput analysis of Ethernet. Complete accurate stochastic Petri net model of Ethernet is shown and its simulation results are presented.
