Building a System Dynamic Model of Regional Low-Carbon Development

The development of low-carbon economy is considered as a top-down economic transformation driven by policy. The realization of low-carbon economy is not simply been technical but policy-making methods need to be conducted in-depth research. This paper delivers a policy influence research method by constructing a regional low-carbon development model based on System Dynamics, and validates this model by comparing the simulation data and the Chinese calendar year statistics. Finally, some policy making suggestions based on the research are provided.

Policy Effects Assessment System Dynamic Model of Regional Low-Carbon Development

Since the British first proposed the concept of "low-carbon economy", the international community had made a great effort in controlling greenhouse gas emissions and developing a low-carbon economy. However, the development of low-carbon economy is a top-down economic transformation driven by policy, which is different from the bottom-up economic transition driven by technology progress in the past. The influence of policy-making in low-carbon economy is everywhere, so the study of policy formulation and decision-making can be significant for low-carbon economy transition. This paper delivers a policy influence research method by constructing a regional low-carbon development model based on System Dynamics, and validates this model by comparing the simulation data and the Chinese calendar year statistics. Finally, some policy making suggestions based on the research are provided.

Study on Development Model of Low-Carbon Tourist Scenic Spot

With the development of the tourism industry, tourist attraction is one of the most important core elements. And low-carbon development plays an increasingly important role. Based on analysis of the status of low-carbon tourism, this paper designs a low-carbon development model of tourist scenic spot, including the “four-wheel drive " development strategy model, intelligent design patterns and digital integrated management mode. These models are interrelated to promote the construction of low-carbon tourist attractions, which points out the direction for low-carbon tourist scenic spots.

Study on Low-Carbon Development Approaches in China

The change of global climate is closely linked to all the countries in the world. A low-carbon development model based on high energy efficiency, low power consumption and low emissions is the best choice for China to address climate change and to achieve a virtuous cycle of economic and environmental development. Under the guidance of a series of policies, some achievements in low-carbon development has been made in China. In this article, a brief introduction is given about the background, concept and necessity of low-carbon development, and then seven approaches used to achieve the goal of low-carbon development are proposed in detail, including low-carbon energy, low carbon layout, low-carbon industries, low carbon buildings, low carbon transport, low-carbon agriculture and low-carbon consumption. The positive roles of technological development and institutional innovation in low-carbon development are also described with examples.

The Low-Carbon City Construction Problems and Measures of Energy Scarcity Developed City in the Southern Jiangsu

In order to deal with Energy scarcity and economic development problem, more and more city turns to the Low-carbon development model. The paper describes the Low-carbon city constructive condition of the Southern Jiangsu Province, and analyzes current main problems from the viewpoint of the industry, the traffic, the architecture, the consumer Low-carbon consumption consciousness and policy. After referring to experiences home and aboard，the paper puts forward some suggestions to deal with the before-mentioned problems.
