As a result of the acceleration of the urbanization process, the increase of megalopolis cities, and the growth of the population, the demand and need for public transport is increasing every year. This, in turn, requires improving the quality of public transport service, improving its culture, adapting it to today's times and conditions. The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan told the officials of the field to fundamentally reform public transport, to develop public transport in the districts and cities of our country, to meet the needs of the regions, to organize transport infrastructure, to take a scientific approach to transport and logistics issues, in particular, to study foreign experience, to hire modern personnel for the field. set the tasks of training and recruitment. Public transport is essential for ensuring equitable access to transportation, reducing traffic congestion, protecting the environment, promoting social interactions, shaping urban development, and providing economic benefits. It is crucial to invest in and prioritize the development of high-quality public transport systems to address our transportation needs sustainably and improve the quality of life for individuals and communities. This article presents tasks on improving the public transport system in Andijan agro-development are presented.

The Role and Legal Aspects of Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf in Realizing Economic Equality and People's Welfare

Infaq, sadaqah, and waqf are crucial instruments in promoting and realizing an economy characterized by justice and widespread community welfare. However, there are several challenges in fulfilling their significant roles, including the lack of awareness and understanding among the public regarding the concepts of Islamic philanthropy. Therefore, this research focuses on the contribution of infaq in achieving community welfare and social solidarity, the tangible expression of social concern through sadaqah in Islam, and the regulation of waqf in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative research approach, utilizing descriptive analytical methods. The findings of this research highlight that infaq has a strong relevance to its contributions to society. By optimally implementing the concept of infaq, it can provide substantial contributions in several crucial aspects of community life. Sadaqah, as a tangible expression of social concern in Islam, has significantly contributed to fostering mutual care and has implications for the equitable distribution of wealth among the community. Furthermore, the optimization of waqf implementation in Indonesia is realized based on Law No. 41 of 2004 on Waqf, the Compilation of Islamic Law Articles 215 to 229, and Government Regulation No. 28 of 1977 on Endowments.

Implementation of Circular Economy in a Developing Economy’s Mining Industry Using Institutional Theory: The Case of Namibia

Despite the global focus on sustainability, transitioning from linear to circular production systems is slow in the mining sector of most developing economies like Namibia. However, mining plays a crucial role in supporting the livelihoods of local communities. Furthermore, existing literature indicates that the potential for regenerative production systems using the remanufacture and recycle approach remains low and limited within the mining and developing economies. Institutional theory can help reveal the reasons for the slow take-up of the regenerative circular economy models in mining. This study uses a unique dataset of 40 semi-structured interviews with key players in the mining sector of Namibia to understand the current phase of circular economy adoption and the role played by institutional pressures in the process of institutional isomorphism, when companies would display a similar level of practices within a shared institutional environment. The findings reveal: (1) 72.5% of participants believe that Namibian mines are adoption-decision phase—a beginning stage of circular economy adoption; (2) companies are reliant on heavy government participation through policy/legislation and tax incentives is recommended; (3) the ranked order—coercive, normative, and mimetic pressures—describes their significance among key actors, for the successful adoption; and (4) proactive implementation and a mindset shift towards circularity is needed to meet emerging expectations on social and environmental concerns in mining.

This article focuses on the term unfinished existence, accepted by both Christian and secular anthropology; however, both perspectives differ in their understanding of how to reach existential fulfillment. Acquiring such fullness implies a liberation, both external and internal, but the attainment of personal autonomy depends on which path of liberation is given priority. According to the contemporary philosopher, Byung-Chul Han, in the new postmodern paradigm, the oppression of the person intensifies when the fruits of technical-computer progress are internalized (self-optimization). When this praxis is established as a proposal for liberation and as a way of acquiring autonomy, the contradictory and devastating nature of self-aggrandizement becomes evident. The traditional path of theosis, especially if one considers the Steinian interpretation, not only seems reasonable but acquires a particular appeal, since for it, conversion is a complete reintegration of the individual person and is the path to the reconstruction of human community, i.e. social and political life including resilience, which is opposed to the destructive economic power of the liberal market.

A woman who consistently obeys Allah's instructions and abstains from His prohibitions is known as an Al Mar'atus shalihah or shalihah woman. She will naturally obey Allah's Messenger if she obeys Him, which will give her moral responsibility and a significant position in communal life. A group of morally upright women who uphold and defend their honor and self-worth is known as Al Mar'atus shalihah. The purpose of this study is to ascertain Mar'atus Shalihah's true standing with regard to the implementation of Islamic principles in the town of Aek Sitio-tio. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Research that describes an item, situation, or social context and will be expounded upon in narrative writing is classified as descriptive research. The findings that the investigator discovered were the aqidah, sharia, and moral standards of Islam that are effectively enforced by the mar'atus shalihah, a group of women and teens in the village of Aek Sitio-tio, Pandan District, Kab. Central Tapanuli because village officials and community leaders are also involved in the program to form these values, especially aqidah values. Various factors influence how the formation of mar'atus shalihah in the application of these three values. Crisis aquatic biodiversity is a critical environmental issue, triggered by human activities such as overfishing, pollution, and climate change, which have serious impacts on the stability of ecosystems and the climate change, which has serious impacts on the stability of ecosystems and the livelihoods of coastal communities. livelihoods of coastal communities. The Importance of Measures Undertaken to Improve the Quality of Life in the Problem Areas: A Case Study in Warmia and Mazury Region in Poland

State agencies set up to manage the agricultural properties of the State Treasury, in subsequent years of their operation, have been implementing programs that are also intended to improve the social and living situation of the inhabitants of former state-owned farm villages. Such measures include non-refundable financial support distributed by the National Support Centre for Agriculture (NSCA). The research aimed to assess whether non-refundable financial aid improves the quality of life of local communities living in rural areas, particularly in former state-owned farm areas identified as problem areas. Another objective aspect of the research was to indicate the importance of this assistance in the opinion of the beneficiaries of this form of support (district authorities) and local communities. Improvement of the quality of life of rural inhabitants and support for the development of rural areas by local governments can be achieved by taking advantage of potential development factors and opportunities emerging in the environment and by being able to establish effective cooperation with various institutions. For local development to proceed smoothly, especially in rural areas, various institutions and economic players need to reach a consensus, become involved, and work together efficiently. A possible instrument to achieve this is the non-repayable financial support distributed by the National Support Centre for Agriculture (NSCA), which-according to the research-brings measurable effects.

A Multifunctional Project Study for Elazig: Botanic Park, Pumped Irrigation Line, and Solar-Hydroelectric Power Plant

Urban centers serve as more than just hubs of economic activity; they are also focal points of community life and social interaction. It is incumbent upon local authorities to elevate the standard of living within these urban environments by establishing communal spaces conducive to enhancing the well-being of residents. To this end, botanical gardens and recreational areas have been established in numerous developed cities worldwide. These amenities not only enrich the lives of inhabitants and local fauna but also constitute significant contributors to the municipal economy. Recognizing their pivotal role in urban economies, the imperative lies in implementing projects that optimize the utilization of available water resources. The prospect of establishing such a facility in the heart of Elazig holds promise. This study undertakes a preliminary assessment of the feasibility of establishing a botanical garden within the designated area, exploring avenues such as tapping into the Keban Dam reservoir, constructing a micro-hydroelectric power plant utilizing downstream water, and other potential initiatives

Rewilding psychology.

Some commentators have recently argued that scientific psychology is overly reliant on artificial laboratory-based activities and that it undervalues field-based investigations. However, it remains unclear how a field-based programme of psychological research might be organized in a scalable way. We examine and compare two existing field-based approaches: Roger Barker's behaviour settings programme and Edwin Hutchins's distributed cognition programme. Both programmes prioritize observational work, and both reject the individual as the unit of analysis in favour of a community-scale unit. However, whereas the behaviour settings programme is concerned with structural properties of community life, distributed cognition is concerned more narrowly with the functional analysis of expert team performance. We discuss how these programmes can inform a future community-scale approach to studying psychology in the wild. We conclude that the two programmes are proof of concept of the possibility of a scientific psychology that rejects methodological individualism. Ethnic culture in urban space: a theoretical review

Relevance. Cities are centers of attraction for people of different nationalities and cultures. In the context of urbanization and globalization, various ethnic cultures interact, which leads to their transformation. The study of ethnic culture in urban space makes it possible to understand how culture changes under the influence of new living conditions, which is especially important for the formation of intercultural relations and tolerant attitude towards representatives of other cultures and nationalities.The purpose is to analyze theoretical studies of ethnic culture in urban space, including issues of tolerance, identity, and urban mentality.Objectives: to consider the elements of ethnic culture; to analyze the connection between ethnic culture and urban space; to determine how identity manifests itself in urban space; to characterize cultural ethnic practices in urban space; to characterize the visual artifacts of ethnicity in urban space.Methodology. The socio-cultural paradigm of studying urban space was used as the methodological basis of the study. The authors also applied general scientific methods: analysis, comparison, generalization.Results. A theoretical analysis of the developments of domestic authors on the topic of manifestations of ethnic culture in urban space, including aspects of national symbols, architecture, mentality, identity, tolerance, is carried out.Conclusions. Ethnic culture in urban space is a complex phenomenon encompassing socio-cultural and ethnodemographic aspects of urban community life. It finds expression in architecture, cultural practices of events, ornaments, everyday life, and the media. Today, despite the unification of everyday life and lifestyle, there are trends towards strengthening national identity, preserving national identity and cultural traditions, in particular through elements of urban public spaces.

Prefigurative Peace in Philippians

Paul refers to peace twice in Phil. 4:7 and 4:9. This paper argues that the peace of God is a prefiguration of the eschatological peace to come in God’s world. It is be proposed that as Philippians is dealing with a social order (i.e., that of life in Christ) that is distinct from the dominant social order of the Roman empire or that of the colony of Philippi, political implications are at the very least a corollary of what Paul is writing to the Christ devotees in this city. The main points that will be argued are that peace is best understood as a key dimension for God’s upcoming new world that is already present “in Christ”. The Philippian community is called upon to stand firm in Christ (Phil. 4:1), which is, due to devotional and ethical practices, to result in the experience of God’s peace or the God of peace. This must be understood as both a present and a future reality. Accordingly, the Philippian community can be seen as prefiguring God’s future world by inhabiting this world now already in their communal life.

Evaluating the economic impact of distant water fleet activities on small-scale fishers in the South China Sea

This study assesses the economic impact of the People's Republic of China's Distant Water Fleet (DWF) on small-scale fisheries (SSFs) in the South China Sea (SCS), a vital area for marine biodiversity and the livelihoods of coastal communities. Through analysis of vessel tracking and local fisheries statistics from 2012 to 2020, the research investigates the effects of DWF activities on marine fish capture rates and socio-economic indicators in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Results indicate that a 1 % increase in PRC DWF activity leads to a 0.1 % decrease in SSF marine capture in Indonesia's FMA 711, a 0.05 % reduction in Malaysia, a 0.01 % drop in the Philippines, and a 0.04 % decrease in Vietnam. These findings highlight the significant negative impact of PRC's DWF presence on local marine fish captures, suggesting adverse effects on SSF livelihoods. The study underscores the importance of implementing sustainable fishing practices and strengthening regional cooperation to mitigate the negative consequences of foreign DWF activities on local economies and ecosystems. This research contributes to the discourse on marine policy and sustainable fisheries management in the SCS, emphasizing the critical need for international collaboration to address the challenges of DWF operations.

Flood threat to livable communities: Understanding the impact of emotional conflicts and information availability on disaster preparedness through mitigation capacity in Nigeria's coastal region

Climate change poses significant risks to coastal regions, compromising habitats, economies, and well-being through flooding. This research assesses the indirect effects of information availability and emotional factors, such as property emotional attachment and emotional burdens on flood disaster preparedness through mitigation capacity. Data from 360 individuals across three Nigerian coastal communities were analyzed using a partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM). Evidence demonstrated that information availability directly enhances disaster preparedness. Conversely, information availability is not significantly associated with mitigation capacity. Strong emotional attachment to property negatively impact mitigation capacity, but no direct effect on disaster preparedness. Mitigation capacity exhibits a significant positive direct effect on disaster preparedness. Notably, heightened emotional burden bolsters flood disaster preparedness by first increasing mitigation capacity. In contrast, intensified emotional attachment to property dampens mitigation capacity, thereby diminishing disaster preparedness. These insights highlight the necessity of integrating frameworks for addressing issues of information dissemination, property emotional attachment, and emotional burden when devising flood risk reduction strategies for coastal communities.

ANALISIS KINERJA BADAN PERMUSYAWARATAN DESA SENDAWAR DALAM PENYUSUNAN PERATURAN DESA KECAMATAN SEMIDANG ALAS MARAS KABUPATEN SELUMA

The Village Consultative Body (BPD) has an important role in drafting village regulations. The Village Consultative Body discusses and approves draft village regulations proposed by the village head, and supervises their implementation. They also collect input from residents and ensure village regulations meet community needs. The preparation of village regulations is the process of forming rules that apply at the village level, aimed at regulating the lives of village communities and the administration of village government. The aim of this research is to determine the performance of the Sendawar Village Consultative Body in drafting village regulations in Semidang Alas Maras District, Seluma Regency. The type of research used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The unit of analysis in this study consisted of 8 (eight) informants chosen deliberately who were considered to know best what the researcher expected. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research state that the performance of the Sendawar Village Consultative Body, Semidang Alas Maras District, Seluma Regency has not gone well. This is because in this village there are no village regulations prepared by the Village Consultative Body and Village Government. The absence of village regulations results in a lack of guidelines for regulating village social, economic and environmental life, which can trigger conflicts between residents and slow down village development. Apart from that, legal uncertainty can also reduce public trust in village government. This also indicates that the function of the Sendawar Village Consultative Body in discussing and approving village regulations is not running well or is not optimal. The relationship between pain, quality of life and physical activity in older community living Australians

The objective of this analysis was to investigate the relationship between pain and quality of life and physical activity as a mediator in the relationship between pain and quality of life. This study utilised a combination of questionnaire data from 503 community-living people aged 70-years and over concerning quality of life, pain, and physical activity. Participants with higher levels of pain intensity experienced lower quality of life and engaged in lessphysical activity (P < 0.05). Physical activity was a mediator in the relationship between pain and quality of life(6.5 %). This study confirms an association between pain and quality of life and highlights physical activ-ity as an essential component of this relationship; further research is needed to understand the mechanism of this relationship.

Revolutionising the Indian Government School System with the Help of AI and other New Age Technological Developments

Hence a strong public education system is a requisite for the needs of all, even for the poor and marginalised sections of the society. The norm followed in India is to run behind private education institutes and run away from government schools because of the inadequate infrastructure and demotivated staff. Hence to break these shackles of stereotype mindset, implementing AI at government schools to maximise the quality of education and reach every part of the number one populous country stands important. Not just reaching a large number but also to alter the age-old pattern of learning, with the aid of new technologies and AI the learning process could be given a new direction where the needs of each learner will be met based upon their grasping and understanding of the subject. AI will also play a crucial role in beating the shortage of staff. Private organisations have adopted VR and AR to create immersive and engaging learning experiences, while other new-age technologies such as cloud computing, learning analytics, and blockchain are also used to achieve monopoly in the private education industry. The Indian government should invest in developing and implementing AI-powered learning platforms and other new-age technologies in government schools to serve every Indian who can not afford private institutions. The government should also provide training to teachers on how to use these technologies effectively with certification. By doing so, the Indian government can help to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality modern education. For a country as massive as India in terms of population and democracy both, implementing it is not an easy task, but if changes are made in the legislation to revolutionise the Government school system in India , days are not far where AI will take the whole education system on to an affirmative path. Prevalence of Smoking Among School Students in Iraq.

Background Developing communities like Iraq are critical to building a good community environment. Many complex patterns of behaviors like smoking among adolescents have been exacerbated rapidly in the current era which led to changes in the Iraqi community's perspectives and life expectancy. This study aims to find out the prevalence of smoking among secondary school students in Iraq and their perceived contributing factors. Methods A cross-sectional study design was used with a representative sample of Iraqi school students recruited through a multistage cluster randomization from the Nineveh Governorate's intermediate and secondary schools to ensure the representation of the general public strata. A total of 330 students were randomly selected from eight schools distributed all over Mosul city (the center of Nineveh Governorate) and its boundaries semi-rural areas. Data collection utilized a standardized, anonymous questionnaire based on the Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) administered within classrooms with the researcher's presence. The questionnaire included questions related to sociodemographic characteristics of the students, smoking state, smoking types, frequency of smoking, relative smoking state, opinion on predisposing factors for initiation of smoking, and knowledge about hazards of smoking. Data analysis was done using SPSS version 26 to calculate frequency distribution with further logistic regression analysis was performed to identify statistically significant factors contributing to initiation of smoking among the student participants with p-value estimation of any compares considered significant below 0.05. Results Prevenance of all types of smoking was 24.5% from 330 students with 30% from 246 males and 7%from 84 females has been encountered. Hookah (Shisha) was the most prevalent type of smoking.About a third of the smoker sample reported smoking at least once daily. Peer pressure (OR=3.49, P< 0.001) or family smoking (OR=1.769, P=0.019) emerged as the strongest influence for initiation of smoking, besides stress (OR=2.23, P= 0.04) and personality traits like stammering and jealousy (OR=2.58, P= 0.013), (OR=2.22, P= 0.017, respectively) have also significant odds. Interestingly, media (movie star) influence played a significant role also. (OR=1.492, P= 0.045). Conclusion The prevalence of smoking among the study sample was 24.5 % out of 330 participating students. Significant influencing factors were found that raised the concern and necessitated the development of targeted interventions. Implementing evidence-based strategies, such as comprehensive school-based educational programs and smoke-free indoor air policies, can significantly improve public health outcomes.

Non-carbon benefits of REDD+ implementation and sustainable emission reductions – a review

ABSTRACT REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation) is a potentially powerful policy instrument for climate change, considering the continued loss of tropical forests. While emissions reductions are the primary aim, the Warsaw Framework for REDD+ recognizes the significance of non-carbon benefits to countries in the Global South. We here attempt to provide a balanced assessment of the achievements over the first decade of this policy instrument, paying special attention to whether non-carbon benefits to tropical countries are materialising. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses principles, 136 studies were identified and screened for evidence. We observe that, while forest governance structures have been strengthened, delivery of environmental and socio-economic non-carbon benefits to forest communities appears to be unsystematic, partly due to the absence of formally agreed guidance on how they could be provided. As REDD+ programmes often impinge directly on the livelihoods of local communities, non-timber forest products are sometimes promoted as alternatives to forestry commodities, even if they provide scant compensation. Except for Ghana’s cocoa program, commodity-driven value chains tend to be neglected. As more funds are expected to finance REDD+ programmes, there could be opportunities for innovation in the delivery of non-carbon benefits.

Landfill reclamation using the example of the municipal waste disposal plant in Puławy – a case study

Landfilling remains a dominant method of waste disposal worldwide, largely due to inadequate waste management frameworks, despite efforts to promote recycling and reuse. As populations and consumption levels grow, waste generation continues to increase, highlighting the need for effective waste management solutions. Landfills are sites where waste undergoes various physical, chemical and biological transformations, making the implementation of safety measures, leachate collection and gas recovery systems critical. This article presents a case study of the reclamation of the Puławy municipal landfill, which has been in operation since 1998. The reclamation process involved extensive steps such as forming the landfill body, securing the slopes, constructing a degassing layer, implementing a sealing layer and applying a cover layer. These measures were crucial in mitigating the negative environmental impact of the landfill, reducing harmful emissions and improving local groundwater quality. The results of the Puławy municipal landfill reclamation include reductions in leachate and gas emissions, improvements in air/groundwater quality and the transformation of the site into a green space that provides recreational opportunities for the community. This reclamation project serves as a model of responsible waste management and community involvement, demonstrating how degraded landfills can be transformed into valuable public resources. The article also discusses the broader implications of landfill reclamation, noting both the positive and negative aspects. Benefits include environmental protection, resource recovery, enhanced biodiversity and improved quality of life for local communities. However, challenges such as the long-term monitoring and maintenance of reclaimed sites and the financial costs associated with reclamation efforts are also considered. This study also underscores the importance of landfill reclamation in the process of shaping and promoting environmental sustainability, as well as addressing modern waste management challenges.
