Determining Factors of Liquidation of Regional Public Companies: Case Study of Perumda Banongan, Situbondo Regency

The research entitled Determining Determinants of Regional Public Companies Liquidation: Case Study of Perumda Banongan, Situbondo Regency using qualitative methods. Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the determining factors for the liquidation of regional public companies at Perumda Banongan, Situbondo Regency. The data source for this research uses primary and secondary data from the Banongan Regional Public Company, Situbondo Regency. The results of the research show that the determining factor for liquidation lies in unhealthy financial conditions and problems with the Governance of Perumda Banongan. So it can be concluded that the Regional Government as the Capital Holding Authority must immediately improve management governance, human resources, and implementation supervision over the performance of Perumda and Perseroda so that they can run more effectively.

PT DANONE'S HANDLING OF FINANCIAL ISSUES AND CRISIS DUE TO THE ISSUANCE OF THE MUI FATWA BOYCOTT

This article discusses the issue management and crisis communication implemented by the food and beverage company, Danone, in responding to the spread of hoax news related to the MUI fatwa accusing its products of supporting Israel. This fake news poses a serious threat to the reputation and trust of consumers so it also affects the company's finances and requires an effective financial management strategy. This article analyzes in depth the steps taken by Danone in responding to these problems, including problem identification, crisis planning, forming a crisis management team, and implementing appropriate management strategies to maintain financial liquidity. This research also highlights the impact of boycott news on the liquidity of the PT Danone company. The results of this research provide insight into how large companies such as Danone are able to handle complex issue challenges in the era of social media and the rapid dissemination of information in maintaining company financial liquidity. It is hoped that these findings will contribute to business practitioners, policy makers and researchers interested in the financial sector, especially in the highly sensitive food and beverage industry. This research also emphasizes the importance of targeted issues and financial management strategies as a key factor in maintaining company liquidity in the midst of an unexpected crisis situation.

The Effect of Liquidity Ratio, Capital Structure and Activity on Company Profitability

The study aims to measure the impact of liquidity ratio, capital structure and activity on profitability in financial sector companies. This study uses an associative quantitative approach with secondary data sourced from the annual reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2023 period. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method with certain criteria, namely the company must consistently publish financial reports during 2023, use the rupiah currency, and include values ​​for the liquidity ratio, capital structure, asset activity ratio, and profitability. Based on these criteria, 97 companies met the requirements. Multiple regression analysis is a method for measuring research hypotheses through the use of SPSS v.29 statistical software. The results of this study indicate that the company's liquidity ratio, capital structure and asset activity ratio can have an effect on the profitability of the finance sector in 2023.

Every organization that is profit-oriented or non-profit, regardless of the size and nature of its business, requires a number of working capital. Working capital is the most important factor for maintaining liquidity, survival, solvency and profitability of the business. Working capital management is one of the most important areas when making comparisons between a company's liquidity and profitability, which involves a decision on the number of current assets and asset financing. The efficiency of working capital management is very important especially for manufacturing companies, where most of its assets consist of current assets. This directly affects the profitability and liquidity of the company. The trade off between liquidity and profitability is important because if working capital management is not given, companies tend to fail and face bankruptcy. The importance of efficient working capital management is undoubted. Because working capital provides strength for each economic and management unit which is considered to be one of the most important functions of corporate management. Therefore, given the importance of working capital management management this research was focused on evaluating the effect of working capital on profitability, in the LQ45 index manufacturing company for the 2003-2007 period. Impact of Inflation and Financial Ratios on Dividend Distribution in Healthcare Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2020-2022)

Objective: To examined the influence of inflation, current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and return on equity on dividend distribution in health sector companies during the 2020 to 2022 period, because this period includes the COVID-19 pandemic. Study Design: This kind of research is quantitative and depends on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the acquisition of secondary data. Study Location and Duration: 2020–2022 listings of health sector firms on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Methodology: Purposive sampling was used in this study to identify 10 companies that met the objectives of the investigation. The analysis technique used is panel data regression, the analysis tool EViews 12. Results: Research findings show that inflation, DER, and ROE do not have a significant negative impact on dividend distribution, while CR shows a significant positive impact. This shows that liquidity plays an important role in dividend distribution decisions during the Covid 19 pandemic. TImplication: This study underscores the importance of maintaining adequate levels of liquidity for healthy companies when determining dividend policy, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic. Investors and policymakers are advised to consider these factors when evaluating a company's financial health and dividend prospects.

DESEMPENHO ECONÔMICO-FINANCEIRO DAS EMPRESAS LISTADAS NO ÍNDICE DE SUSTENTABILIDADE EMPRESARIAL ISE B3

The study investigates the effect of including companies in the theoretical portfolio of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE B3) on the average values of financial indicators. The variables of interest encompassed general liquidity (ILG), general indebtedness (IEG), return on investment (ROI), and return on equity (ROE). The ISE B3 consists of companies selected based on financial and sustainability criteria, with financial indicators crucial for monitoring business performance. The methodology was descriptive, quantitative, and qualitative, with hypothesis testing on two databases, including companies listed on the B3 between 2013 and 2022, comparing those that were included and those that were not included in the ISE B3 portfolio. Results revealed that companies included in the ISE B3 portfolio had higher ROI during the membership period, while those outside the portfolio showed higher ILG, indicating better liquidity. IEG was higher for companies outside the portfolio, suggesting higher indebtedness, while ROE was superior for companies included in the portfolio, indicating higher profitability on equity. Inclusion in the ISE B3 portfolio significantly influenced IEG, suggesting lower indebtedness for included companies, while ILG also showed statistically significant differences, indicating lower liquidity for companies in the portfolio, with ROI and ROE demonstrating significance at different levels, suggesting higher profitability returns for investments and equity in these companies. Further investigation of other indicators is recommended to better understand the variations influenced by companies' participation in the sustainability journey.

Analisis Kinerja Keuangan Untuk Mengukur Tingkat Kesehatan Perusahaan Manufaktur Sub Sektor Farmasi pada Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode Tahun 2018-2022

The aim of this research is to analyze the company’s financial performance to measure the health level of pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in terms of liquidity, solvency, profitability and activity ratios for the 2018-2022 period. The sample used was 9 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. The data analysis method used is quantitative descriptive. The research results show that the average ratio of liquidity, solvency, profitability and activity for pharmaceutical sub-sector companies fluctuates. Based on the liquidity ratio, Kimia Farma Tbk has the highest average value of the current ratio, Sido Muncul Herbal & Pharmaceutical Industry Tbk has a quick ratio and Indofarma Tbk has a cash ratio so it is classified as a company with the highest level of health. The solvency ratio in the debt to equity ratio and debt to asset ratio of the Sido Muncul Herbal & Pharmaceutical Industry Tbk has the lowest average value ratio, while the long-term debt to equity ratio of Darya Varia Laboratoria Tbk is classified as a company with the highest level of health. Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk’s profitability ratio has the highest average ratio value for net profit margin and return on assets and Pyridam Farma Tbk for return on equity so it is classified as a company with the highest level of health. The activity ratio in the inventory turnover ratio and the fixed asset turnover ratio of Darya Varia Laboratoria Tbk and Organon Pharma Indonesia Tbk in the total asset turnover ratio each have the highest average ratio values so they are classified as companies with the highest level of health.

Logistics optimization and inventory control in Peruvian grocery companies

The company being analyzed, which specializes in selling groceries, faces significant challenges in its logistics management. Lack of supply chain visibility prevents informed inventory decisions, resulting in product overages or shortages. Supply chain delays affect profitability, and inaccurate demand planning generates additional costs and financial losses. This study, which is relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals, mainly in combating poverty through the economic success of SMEs, evaluates the effectiveness of logistics management in inventory control. The results show an increase in ending inventory by 105.12% and a decrease in inventory turnover by 29.29%, suggesting a strategic accumulation of stock. In addition, an improvement in the company's liquidity was observed, with an increase in total current assets by 107.66% and a financial restructuring oriented towards expansion projects. These findings underscore efficient logistics management's importance in optimizing resources and improving customer satisfaction. Future research should focus on the integration of advanced technologies and the implementation of sustainable financing strategies to further improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Analisis Prosedur Pemberian Kredit Dan Penagihan Piutang Pada Kantor Cabang PT. BPR Pijer Podi Kekelengen Simpang Selayang

This study aims to analyze the procedures for granting credit and collecting receivables in a company in order to identify the effectiveness and efficiency of the system used. Credit granting is an important aspect in financial management that can affect the company's liquidity and profitability. However, if not managed properly, this can increase the risk of bad debts and have a negative impact on the company's financial health. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the credit granting procedures in the company analyzed have followed applicable standards, but there are still some weaknesses in the credit assessment process that can lead to the risk of bad debts. On the other hand, receivables collection in the company still faces challenges in terms of timeliness and effectiveness of communication with customers. Thus, it is expected that the company can increase liquidity and reduce the risk of bad debts, which ultimately contributes to the company's financial stability.

Joint Impact of Market Volatility and Cryptocurrency Holdings on Corporate Liquidity: A Comparative Analysis of Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Other Firms

This study examines the impact of market volatility and cryptocurrency holdings on corporate liquidity, with a particular focus on the differences between cryptocurrency exchanges and other businesses. The analysis is based on 181 firm-year observations from 2017 to 2022, using Bitcoin volatility, VIX, and VKOSPI as indicators of market volatility. Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and robust regression analyses are employed to assess the relationships between these variables. It is first noted that, albeit insignificant, market volatility has a detrimental influence on company liquidity. The positive correlation for cryptocurrency exchanges, however, suggests that cryptocurrency exchanges could potentially leverage market volatility as a strategic advantage. Additionally, the study shows that cryptocurrency holdings enhance corporate liquidity, with a stronger association observed in cryptocurrency exchanges. The analysis also incorporates lagged variables to capture delayed effects, confirming that cryptocurrency holdings exert both immediate and delayed positive impacts on liquidity, likely due to effective strategic management practices within exchanges.

STUDI EKSPLORASI FAKTOR PENENTU PENILAIAN HARGA SAHAM PT SEMEN INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK

This research explores the share price performance of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk from 2019 to 2023 using descriptive analysis methods. The research focus includes variables such as Earnings Per Share (EPS), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Return on Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Net Profit Margin (NPM). The data used comes from the annual financial report of PT Semen Indonesia. Research findings show that the company experiences significant fluctuations in EPS which are influenced by sales dynamics and operational costs.ROE shows variations in the efficiency of using own capital, while DER decreases consistently, reflecting good management in debt management. TATO and ROA experienced fluctuations, reflecting the company's efforts to optimize the use of assets to increase operational efficiency. The company's liquidity, as reflected in the CR remains stable in meeting short-term obligations. Even though PER has decreased, indicating a lower market assessment of share valuation, NPM varies due to fluctuating operational costs. To improve stability and profitability in the future, the company's focus needs to be increased on operational efficiency and better cost management

The Effect of Liquidity, Profitability, Leverage and Activity on Financial Distress

Financial difficulties are a problem that occurs in company liquidity, difficult to solve if there is no change in the company structure. When financial difficulties occur, companies experience a lack of working capital. Lack of working capital can be caused by high operating costs or liabilities. Companies experiencing financial difficulties will file for bankruptcy, however there are some companies that do not do this, because the company is still able to survive amidst the problems that occur. The aim of the research is to see how liquidity, profitability, leverage and activity influence financial distress in transportation companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2018-2022. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive research design with SPSS 26 as a data analysis tool. The research population was 46 transportation companies and the sampling technique used purposive sampling as many as 8 transportation companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research results show that liquidity and activity have no effect on financial distress. Profitability has been significant positive effect on financial distress. Leverage has a negative and significant effect on financial distress. Simultaneously, liquidity, profitability, leverage and activity have a positive and significant effect on financial distress.

This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of CV. D'Printing by analyzing liquidity, solvency, profitability, and activity ratios. The research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data analyzed comprises the financial statements of CV. D'Printing for the 2019-2023 period. The analysis techniques used are quantitative analysis and time series analysis, comparing financial ratios from one period to another. The results indicate that the company's liquidity and solvency ratios are in good and healthy condition. Impact of Covid-19 on companies’ performance and financial resilience: Evidence from Moroccan listed companies

The study aims to evaluate the impact of Covid-19 on company performance and explore the moderating effect of companies’ financial resilience. Data were retrieved from 312 firm-year observations corresponding to 76 companies listed on the Moroccan Stock Exchange Market throughout 2018–2021. Five regression models are used to examine the overall impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on corporate performance, as well as the specific effect on corporate performance of each of the financial indicators of corporate resilience, namely sales, leverage, liquidity, and financial autonomy. The results show that although there is a decrease in the mean of both ratios of financial and operational performance of Moroccan listed companies, statistical tests confirm only a significant negative effect of Covid-19 on operational performance. The results also show that companies with high sales, low debt, high liquidity, and financial autonomy are more resilient to the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, given the significant size and the sectorial concentration of Moroccan listed companies, there is no statistical evidence that the negative impact of Covid-19 pandemic varies according to business sector or size. Based on the results, a number of recommendations are made for both governments and companies. Governments should maintain, despite the crisis, both public and private investment in order to sustain the growth of companies’ business sales. It is also important to implement solutions for rescheduling social and tax debts to safeguard the liquidity of companies and limit their recourse to costly debt.

This research aims to prove and analyze the influence of liquidity and profitability on share prices through company value as an intervening variable in consumption sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In this research, the companies used were companies in the goods and consumption sector which were selected using a purposive sampling method. The data used was from 2016 to 2020. The data processing was carried out using the help of the Eviews program. In this research, indirect influence testing with intervening variables was carried out using the Sobel Test method. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis, it was found that company liquidity had no significant effect on the share prices of companies in the goods and consumption sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In testing the second hypothesis, it was found that company profitability had a significant effect on the share prices of companies in the goods and consumption sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. testing the third hypothesis, it was found that company value had a significant effect on the share prices of companies in the goods and consumption sector on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

The current study focuses on Tata Steel Limited's working capital management. The primary goal is to execute a liquidity analysis on the company. Working capital management ensures that a business functions smoothly by keeping an eye on and making the most use of its current assets and liabilities. The liquidity analysis assists firm stakeholders in evaluating the company's liquidity status. The study is based on secondary data taken from the company's annual report. We analyzed the data using financial ratio analysis tools. The optimal amount of liquidity may reduce costs while contributing more to the success of a company.

The aim of this research is to assess the financial condition of PT. Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia in the 2019-2023 period based on liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios. The methodology used is quantitative descriptive analysis using secondary data from the company's financial reports. The research results show that although the company's liquidity is said to be liquid, a turnover ratio of more than 500% is considered too high. This indicates inadequate capital utilization. The solvency ratio shows a company's healthy financial position, identifying the company as being able to fulfill its long-term obligations. However, the profitability ratio shows poor financial health with the ratio far below standard, tends to decline, and has low ROA and ROE values. The company's inability to use resources efficiently to generate profits is the cause of this decline. Overall, even though PT Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia is liquid and solvable, its financial health for the 2019-2023 period still needs to be improved, especially in terms of profitability. The analysis shows that to increase profitability, companies must improve the effectiveness of current asset management and maximize resource utilization. This study provides an overview of the company's financial situation and can be used as a reference for future management.
