AbstractA 2‐year‐9‐month‐old, male, neutered, Dutch rabbit was diagnosed with bilateral epiphora, upper eyelid entropion, secondary trichiasis and superficial corneal ulceration. Corneal healing was delayed until temporary upper eyelid eversion with Histoacryl®. Once this dissolved, entropion and corneal ulceration re‐occurred. Under light sedation, proxymetacaine was applied to the injection sites via cotton‐tip applicators. Hyaluronic acid (ALAYNA SG24 Distinct, an‐cbfh 2.4% an‐vision) was injected using a 27‐gauge needle in the subdermal space via a multifocal puncture technique, 1–2 mm from the upper eyelid margin. For each eyelid, approximately 0.5 mL was injected in total across three to four sites. Immediate resolution of the upper eyelid entropion and trichiasis was achieved. Minimal bleeding occurred at each injection site. Eyelid swelling developed within 24 hours, persisting for 72 hours. At 15‐day follow‐up, upper eyelid position and function remained normal. Corneal ulceration had healed, epiphora and blepharospasm had resolved. Four months after the procedure, mild right lateral upper eyelid entropion developed.
