Pengaruh Gerak U-Turn terhadap Kinerja Lalu Lintas di Jalan D.I. Panjaitan

Jalan D. I. Panjaitan in the city of Jambi is a vital road with a 2 lane 2 way (2/2) road type, where there are some roads that use permanent road dividers and some that do not use road dividers. The condition of the road which includes residential areas, shops, schools, hospitals, places of worship, and so on causes road traffic to develop according to the conditions around the road. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of U-turn Volume and Degree of Saturation on Jl. D. I, Panjaitan, knows the level of service on Jl. D. I, Panjaitan. The conclusion is that based on the research results that have been calculated, it can be obtained that the U-turn volume influences the degree of saturation (DS) with a positive correlation, so the highest degree of saturation is obtained with a correlation coefficient value of 0.89. The coefficient value shows that the greater the U-turn volume. the greater the influence on the degree of saturation (DS). So the level of vehicle road service on Jl. DI Panjaitan with a road service level volume of 0.56 can have a service level of C. Where the flow is stable, but the speed of vehicle movement is controlled.

Pengaruh Proporsi Kendaraan Terhadap Kecepatan Arus Lalu Lintas

Transportation is the movement of people or goods from one place to another using a vehicle driven by humans or machines. Along with its development, the number of vehicles in Banda Aceh is increasing. On the Tgk Chik Ditiro road, traffic jams often occur, because there are schools, offices, many traders who trade on the shoulder of the road and the sidewalk, there are several vehicles against the flow, and vehicles parked carelessly, there are delays or movement of traffic flow especially at the hour busy. Based on observations in the field, traffic flow at busy times is dominated by two wheels and four wheels, so that it affects the speed on the Tgk Chik Ditiro road in Banda Aceh City. The purpose of this research is to find out what percentage of the effect of the proportion of vehicles on road traffic flow and to get the value of the proportion of vehicles on the road. The results obtained for the highest traffic volume were obtained on Thursday 26 September 2019 at 17.00-18.00 amounting to 6669.60 pcu / hour, the value of road capacity was 4938 pcu / hour, while the level of road service with the degree of saturation obtained was 1.35 means the Jalan Tgk. Chik Ditiro Kota Banda Aceh is included in category F, where the flow is blocked, the speed is low, the volume is above capacity, and there is a delay. The results of traffic volume for 3 (three) days obtained the maximum proportion of two-wheeled vehicles on Thursday 26 September 2019 at 08.00-09.00 WIB with a value of 48.43%. For the Maximum Proportion of four-wheeled vehicles (LV) on Thursday 26 September 2019 at 17.00-18.00 WIB with a value of 74.77%. In the research, it can be seen that the dominant light vehicle growth affects these roads.

Mr. Muhammad Hasan is street one of the entrance gates to Banda Aceh City. The condition of the road is in steady condition, with a two-lane, two-way type divided with a median of 1.5 m wide. The role of this road is very strategic, considering that if a tsunami occurs, this road is one of the community's escaped roads. The results of initial observations of this road are still in a comfortable condition to drive, but it is necessary to research the level of service to anticipate its role as an escape road. Based on that, we want to know how the level of service on Jalan Mr. Muhammad Hasan. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of service Jalan Mr. Muhammad Hasan using the 1997 MKJI method. Data were collected through a survey of traffic volume and speed for 3 (three) days, namely Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The duration of the survey is 07.00-18.00 with 8 (eight) surveyors. The traffic volume is multiplied by the number emp, so we get the amount of flow at peak hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. The result of recording speed in m/second is converted to km/hour. Furthermore, the capacity of city roads, free flow speed and degree of saturation is calculated. Based on the value of capacity, speed and degree of saturation, the value of road service level is obtained. Based on the calculation results, the highest peak hours on observation day occurred in the afternoon, namely Thursday at 15.45-16.45 (2144 p.m./hour), Friday at 16.15-17.15 (2295 p.m./hour) and Sunday at 17.00-18.00 as many as 1698 smp/hour. hour. The capacity of the road on the three observation days was 6178 pcu/hour and the speed was 53.01 km/hour. The lowest degree of saturation occurred on Sunday afternoon at 0.18 and the highest occurred on Friday at 0.54 and overall it was still below 0.75 so there was no need for a scenario. The level of service in the morning and afternoon (Thursday, Friday, Sunday) still shows a value of A, while on Monday afternoon it becomes C and on Friday and Sunday it slightly decreases to B.

Traffic Management on The Cikereteg-Pancawati Road in The Caringin District Tourism Area Bogor District

Traffic as part of transportation planning is a vital indicator of tourism development. Bogor Regency is one of the favorite tourist destinations in Jabodetabek. One of the tourist attractions in Bogor Regency is natural tourism around the Puncak Bogor area. This study aims to analyze land use around Jalan Cikereteg-Pancawati, analyze the performance and level of traffic service on the road, and conduct a SWOT analysis for traffic management strategies. The study used GIS to analyze changes in land use and analyzed the level of road service on Jalan Cikereteg-Pancawati. The traffic performance analysis was conducted by analyzing the volume values and degrees of saturation on Sundays and Thursdays. The land use analysis showed that the area is dominated by forests, plantations, and rice fields, indicating great potential as a tourist area. The traffic performance analysis revealed that Sundays have higher volume values and degrees of saturation than Thursdays, with the highest degree of saturation occurring on Sunday segment 3. The study concludes that the traffic management strategy for Jalan Cikereteg-Pancawati should focus on managing pavement repairs and road widening, providing bus and car parking, and utilizing available human resources and supporting regulations for the development of Bogor Regency as a natural tourism area. The study's findings suggest that effective traffic management is crucial for the sustainable development of natural tourism in Bogor Regency. The proposed traffic management strategies can help alleviate traffic congestion and improve the overall tourist experience, ultimately contributing to the region's economic growth and social well-being.

ANALISIS DAMPAK PERUBAHAN PENGGUNAN LAHAN PERKOTAAN TERHADAP URBAN HEAT ISLAND DI KECAMATAN KEDATON

The Urban Heat Island phenomenon is defined as a form of local climate change. In the formation of the Urban Heat Island phenomenon, there are several factors, namely changes in land use, vegetation density, building density, and vehicle emissions. Dense development areas that have caused changes in land use, settlements, and transportation activities have begun to accumulate in Kedaton District. Kedaton District is included in the activity center area so that changes in land use from 2017 to 2022 occur significantly, which can cause an increase in urban temperatures. This study aims to analyze the impact of changes in urban land use on Urban Heat Island in Kedaton District. The variables used are land use, surface temperature, vegetation density, building density, motor vehicle intensity, and motor vehicle emissions. The analytical methods used are LST, NDVI, NDBI, road service level analysis, vehicle emission analysis, and correlation analysis. The results of the analysis show that the impact of changes in land use will result in a 76% decrease in vegetation density in 2022, a 95% increase in building density, and a 99% increase in vehicle emissions. The impact of changes in land use has contributed to the distribution of urban heat islands in Kedaton District. To minimize the impact of changes in use on the Urban Heat Island in Kedaton District, mitigation efforts based on the resilient city concept are needed, namely the addition of private green open spaces, reflective roof paint in densely populated areas, and optimizing public transportation.

Hybrid Analysis of Road Service Level Determination Decision Support System

Traffic congestion on the highway is one of the problems often faced by road users, as on the highway traffic in the city of Padang often experiences congestion due to the growth of several highways that are relatively smaller than the growth of traffic volume, causing a decrease in road service levels. This study aimed to determine the level of road services in several traffic lanes in the city of Padang. Data analysis using Hybrid Decision Support System (HDSS) modeling by combining the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) This method is included in the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) group. The AHP method can consistently determine the weight value of each criterion, and the WASPAS method can analyze alternative data to obtain decision results by ranking with the Weighted Sum Model (WSM) and Weighted Product Model (WPM) processes. The ranking results show that there are three types of road services in the city of Padang, namely B, C, and D with an accuracy rate of 0.6947%, this the results of this study using HDSS modeling can provide a better analysis process.

The Road’s Level of Service at Kawi Road, Malang Regency

A region’s ability to expand and flourish depends heavily on its road system. Roads that are smooth and effective facilitate communication between different locations, the movement of people, and the transit of commodities. Thus, people movement within a region is greatly impacted by the quality of road service. One of the principal thoroughfares in Malang Regency is Kawi Road, which has two two-way lanes without a median and an effective road width of eight meters. It is a primary collector hierarchy (2/2 UD). There is a lot of traffic on Kawi Road since it connects two local activity hubs, Blitar and Lumajang, and acts as a national road. This study’s main objective is to characterize Kawi Road in Kepanjen District, Malang Regency, with regard to its attractiveness and generation of land use, performance, and modeling. In compliance with the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines, the following research methodologies were used: road capacity analysis, saturation degree analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and road service level analysis. The research makes use of field observation data. According to calculations, Kawi Road can handle 2826.63 passenger car units per hour. Its peak performance was reached between 15:00 and 16:00, or 0.87 (LOS E).

Kinerja Jalan Tingang Kota Palangka Raya dengan Metode Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 2014

Population growth is usually accompanied by an increase in the activities of all communities in an area. Community activities require facilities and infrastructure to support the activities carried out. Transportation is an important activity for the community. Therefore, the existence of a private car is a necessity. Congestion often occurs during peak hours and some of the main roads in Palangka Raya City, such as Tingang Road, experience a significant increase in car traffic. Tingang Road is an important road for the local community because it is an access to residential areas, schools, sub-districts and an alternative road out of the city via Mahir Mahar Road or the outer ring road. The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate road performance. This research uses a direct survey method carried out to the field in order to obtain precise information about a condition. After primary and secondary data collection is collected, analysis is carried out using PKJI 2014. Thus, based on the results of the analysis, the performance of the road can be known. The traffic volume is 546.85 skr / hour which occurs during the day, 11:45 to 12:45 WIB. The current capacity is 1667.98 skr/hr. Meanwhile, the degree of saturation is calculated at 0.327, which indicates level of service B, which indicates a good level of road service.

Analisis Dampak Lalu Lintas Pasar Ngablak Kabupaten Magelang

Changes in the structure of urban space will affect movement patterns, ultimately burdening the existing road network in an area. Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) is an analysis of the influence of land-use development on the system of traffic flow movement around the development; this is caused by the emergence of new traffic, shifting traffic, and vehicles coming in and out of or to the development land. The construction of Pasar Ngablak can have a new traffic impact and increase the traffic load around the market, disrupting traffic links that can reduce the level of road services. This study aims to analyze the impact of market development activities that are useful to minimize traffic impact and provide appropriate recommendations. The research method used was the approach of the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997), with the results of the delay value and degree of saturation. The results of the delay value and degree of saturation are used to see the existing conditions and during operation. However, predictions for the next 5 (five) years after development need to be watched out for and given appropriate recommendations because there is an increase in traffic movement around the market

Analisis Kinerja Ruas Jalan Akibat Putar Balik Pada KM 23 Depan Grand Mall Sampai Dengan Simpang Tiga Pasar Batangase Kabupaten Maros

This study aims to determine the performance of roads along the Makassar Maros axis road at KM 23 in front of the Grand Mall to the Batangase market junction due to a u-turn from the results of calculating the large volume of traffic, capacity and level of road service. The focus of this research is located on Jalan Poros Makassar Maros KM 23 starting from the front round of Graha Cemerlang Housing to the front round of Zazil Bakery. The data needed is primary data consisting of geometric road sections, vehicle volume, and vehicle speed and secondary data, namely the 1997 Road Transportation Guidebook and the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The results of the analysis are obtained from the calculations at point 1 and point 2 level road services are included in service level D, so the performance of roads along the Makassar - Maros Axis KM 23 (Front of the Grand Mall to the Batangase market junction) due to U-turns is low speed and varies with delays from both the same direction and the opposite opposite direction or traffic conditions are starting to become unstable.

The Analysis of Service Level on Diponegoro Road, Pasar Aceh: Comparing The Existing Condition and with on-Street Parking Restriction

Traffic congestion is a major problem in cities, especially on the main roads in the Central Business District (CBD) area, as occurred on Diponegoro Road in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This problem has economic, social, and environmental impacts, such as fuel wastage, longer travel times, and air pollution from vehicle exhaust gases. Factors causing traffic congestion include side friction, such as road crossings (Pedestrian/PED), parking and stop vehicles (PSV), entry and exit vehicles (EEV), and slowmoving vehicles (SMV). Diponegoro Road is a three-lane one-way road (3/1 TT). However, only one lane is effective during peak hours, while the other is used for vehicle parking. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the service level of Dipenogoro Road under existing conditions and with the implementation of on-street parking restrictions. The road performance was calculated using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023 method. The data needed are traffic volume, road geometrics, side friction, and population. The study results show that the road's service level on weekdays (Monday and Thursday) is on level C, indicating that traffic conditions limit the speed and movement of vehicles, and the drivers are restricted in choosing the desired speed. On Sunday mornings, the road level of service is on level B, while in the afternoon, it becomes level D. This difference in service level occurs because there is no activity to access schools or workplaces on Sunday mornings. On Sunday afternoons, most citizens go shopping or sightseeing, causing volume and roadside friction to increase and road performance to drop. The level of road service with the implementation of on-street parking restrictions shows a good level (A and B), with an indication of stable traffic flow, and drivers are free to choose their driving speed. Thus, this research recommends maximizing off-street parking to limit on-street parking.

STUDI KINERJA SIMPANG BERSINYAL PERGERAKAN LALU LINTAS KOTA PAREPARE

Jl. General Ahmad Yani and Jl. A. Mappangara are at a signalized intersection in Parepare City. Because the traffic flow is quite dense, especially during rush hours, this intersection has the potential to cause accidents, congestion, and delays. This study aims to determine the existing condition of the intersection and the performance of the signalized intersection on Jl. General Ahmad Yani–Jl. A. Mappangara Kota Parepare. The method used is quantitative, namely data management in the form of numbers with data analysis using the MKJI 1997 method, which was carried out in March 2021. The results of the research show that the results of data analysis on traffic flow patterns are busiest on Mondays, with afternoon peak hours at 17.00–18.00 WITA. The value of the number of vehicles on the north arm is 1149 pcu/hour, the east arm is 319 pcu/hour, and the south arm is 705 pcu/hour. Performance that occurs at the intersection with a degree of saturation of 0.92 and an average delay of 53.00 sec/smp. The level of road service on the 3 approaches shows poor service with a LOS (Level Of Service) value on the North arm of 43.2 is E, the East arm is 84.51 is F, and the South arm is E. Where the flow is unstable, the traffic volume is quite heavy.

Analisis Hambatan Samping Terhadap Tingkat Pelayanan Jalan Pada Ruas Jalan Ahmad Yani Kota Maumere

The increase in development in an area and the increase in population cause the need to pay attention to facilities and infrastructure in the field of transportation, especially roads. Maumere is the capital of the Sikka district. The increasing need of the people of Maumere City for traffic movement causes road performance to decrease because traffic movement exceeds the existing road capacity. Side friction occur on this road section because there are several offices, schools, shopping centers, and restaurants and are the route in and out of campuses, schools, shops, and markets. The purpose of the study is to determine the side friction of working days and holidays, the level of service of working days and holidays, and the effect of side friction on the level of road services. The method used in the research is quantitative based on PKJI 2014. The results of the weekday side friction analysis showed that the value of side friction reached 1,286 events/hour and included very high side friction classes and holidays showed that the side resistance factors reached 125 events/hour and included low side friction classes. The road service level value on weekdays is B and the holiday road service level value is B. The value of the side friction class on weekdays is high and the value of the road service level is B. while on holidays the value of the side friction class is very low and the value of the road service level is B.

Analisa Pengaruh Putar Balik (U-Turn) Terhadap Kinerja Lalu Lintas (Studi Kasus :Jalan Gatot Subroto, Kota Tangerang)

Tangerang City area is one of the areas in Banten Province which is right on the west side of DKI Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. Tangerang City is one of the largest cities in the JABODETABEK. With the increase in population mobility, the higher the traffic flow, the more traffic that causes congestion, because the number of vehicles is always increasing and not matched by the expansion of the area. To improve safety and comfort and also minimize traffic problems on the road, a median can be made. One of the influences when making a U-Turn is when the vehicle speed will slow down or stop for a moment. Seeing this problem, it is necessary to analyze the influence of the distance between U-turns that occurs on Gatot Subroto street, Tangerang City. In tihs study the authors used a quantitative method where the authors obtained numerical data from direct observation. Based on results of the study, it is shown that the distances between the U-Turns that are very close together causes vehicles that cross the road to be hampered by their journey, then the highest average daily traffic volume peak is 2951,1 smp/jam which occurs on Monday at 18.00-19.00. traffic flow performance on the eastbound Gatot Subroto road section has the highest degree of saturation of 0,94 with the class E road service level category, while for the west direction has the highest degree of saturation of 1,05 with the class F road service level category.

INTERSECTION ARRANGEMENT DESIGN ON SULTAN HAMID II ROAD - GUSTI SITUT MAHMUD ROAD – 28 OKTOBER ROAD – SELAT PANJANG ROAD PONTIANAK DUE TO THE OPERATION OF THE LANDAK PARALLEL BRIDGE

The signalized intersection on Sultan Hamid II Road - Gusti Situt Mahmud Road – 28 Oktober Road – Selat Panjang Road is an intersection in Pontianak city with high traffic problems. The construction of the Landak parallel bridge initially aimed to reduce congestion, but this created an imbalance that caused congestion. This research analyses the performance of the intersection using the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual method and VISSIM software simulation. Data was collected in the form of intersection geometric data, traffic light cycle time, vehicle speed, and traffic volume taken for three days with a survey tool in the form of CCTV as a recorder at 06.00 - 18.00 WIB. Then, the data collected is processed into the basis of research to calculate the performance of the intersection in existing conditions and develop alternative improvement plans using MKJI 1997 and VISSIM software simulations. In the analysis with the MKJI 1997 method, the North road's service level is LOS C; the East road is LOS C; the South road is LOS B; the West road is LOS F, and the highest degree of saturation is 1.56. Analysis with VISSIM software simulation obtained the level of service of the intersection LOS C. After making alternative changes in cycle time, geometrics, and restrictions on the time of prohibition of passing obtained in alternative 15 with changes from signalized intersections to roundabouts and geometric changes.

Pengaruh Gerak U-Turn pada Bukaan Median terhadap Karakteristik Arus Lalu Lintas

Transportation problems in big cities in Indonesia, especially on Jalan R. Suprapto, Ketapang Regency are increasing from time to time in line with population growth, rapid growth in the number of vehicles and vehicle ownership, urbanization and an inefficient public transportation system. This has an impact on the decrease in the performance level of the road segment, including the U-Turn motion behavior at the road median opening. This study aims to determine traffic characteristics, road capacity, road service level (LOS), the average time for vehicles to perform U-turns, queue lengths and alternatives that will be applied in this study based on the 1997 MKJI guidelines. From the results of research and discussion on Jalan R. Suprapto the characteristic value of traffic flow which consists of traffic volume at rush hour from the direction of Jl. R. Suprapto – Jl. Gatot Subroto at 513.8 smp/hour and for the direction of Jl. Gatot Subroto – Jl. R. Suprapto at 651.35 smp/hour. The vehicle speed is 49.86 km/hour. Traffic density for the direction of Jl. R. Suprapto – Jl. Gatot Subroto of 10.24 smp/km and for the direction of Jl. Gatot Subroto – Jl. R. Suprapto 13.1 pcu/km. The road segment capacity is 5,422.3 pcu/hour. Analysis of the Effect of U-Turn Access Closure on the Performance of Gajah Mada Road, Batam Indonesia

Purpose: Gajah Mada Road, Batam Taman Kota area is a primary collector road 1 that has a U-Turn and dense current if passed by motorists on weekdays in the afternoon. This study aims to analyze road performance due to the closure and opening of U-Turn access.
 Design/methodology/approach: The research method used systematic observation is carried out on Mondays and Fridays (weekdays when the U-Turn is closed and opens) at 17.15 - 18.00 WIB in MKJI 1997.
 Findings: The volume of vehicles and the average speed of vehicles passing when the U-Turn is closed is higher compared to the U-Turn is opened. Meanwhile, the level of road service (LoS) is classified as good because of the stable current and normal volume even though the vehicle speed is limited and affected by traffic.
 Research limitations/implications: The U-Turn closure policy is believed to be a solution to reducing vehicle congestion.
 Practical implications: Vehicle buildup factors due to U-Turn access are the main factors hampering road performance.

ANALISIS KECEPATAN KENDARAAN DAN KINERJA RUAS JALAN RAYA KAPAL AKIBAT AKTIVITAS RUMAH SAKIT MANGUSADA KAPAL, MENGWI, BADUNG

Mangusada Hospital is one of the hospitals in Badung Regency, which is located in Kapal Village. Hospital activities during operating hours will directly affect the smoothness of traffic on the roads around the hospital caused by the activity of entering and leaving vehicles to or from the hospital. To find out the performance of the Ship Highway section, a research was conducted in the area for three days, namely Monday and Friday representing working days, Sunday representing holidays. Analysis of road performance using the 1997 MKJI calculation procedure for urban road sections. Based on the results of data analysis it is known that the highest vehicle traffic volume on Monday was 3046.05 pcu/hour occurred at 07.15 WITA -08.15 WITA, on Friday it was 2802 pcu/hour occurred at 07.00 WITA - 08.00 WITA, Sunday at 2372.9 pcu/hour occurred at 16.45 WITA - 17.45 WITA. The level of road service during Monday's peak hour was at level C with a degree of saturation value of 0.59, the average speed of light vehicles reached 39 km/hour. The condition of the vehicles at the road service level illustrates that traffic flow conditions are still stable, travel speed and freedom of movement are affected by the large volume of traffic so that the driver can no longer choose the desired speed

Analisis Tingkat Pelayanan Jalan Akibat Hambatan Samping Pada Ruas Jalan Gunung Sabeulah Kota Tasikmalaya

The problem that occurs on Jalan Gunung Sabeulah Tasikmalaya City is that there are shops which result in side barriers. In addition, the presence of vehicles stopping temporarily and vehicles coming in and out of the area around the road affects the level of road service. The aim of the study was to determine traffic volume and capacity and to determine the service level of the Gunung Sabeulah road section, Tasikmalaya City. The method used in this study is a survey method, namely by making direct observations at the research location to obtain data as a reference for conducting analysis. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the peak traffic volume on Jalan Gunung Sabeulah, Tasikmalaya City was 1396 pcu/hour and the road capacity was 2687.49 pcu/hour. The level of service for Jalan Gunung Sabeulah, Tasikmalaya City, Monday and Tuesday, 1 and 2 August 2022 is at level C, while on Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 August 2022 is at level B. The average service level is at level C with characterized by a stable flow with moderate traffic volume, speed begins to be limited by traffic conditions, moderate traffic density internal traffic obstacles begin to affect speed, the driver still has enough freedom to choose his speed and the lane used.
