The southern coastal region of Pacitan Regency, particularly in six districts, namely Ngadirejo, Sudimoro, Kebonagung, Donorojo, Pringkuku, and Pacitan District, is classified as a high-risk tsunami red zone. Based on the research findings, the Pacitan Bay area consists of two villages, namely Sidoarjo Village and Ploso Village in Pacitan Distict. Sidoarjo Village covers an area of 8.36 km², while Ploso Village covers 3.66 km², making the total area 12.02 km² or 1202 hectares. The analysis of land suitability for tourism in relation to tsunami risk aims to assess the level of compatibility of a tourist area located in a tsunami-prone region. The environmental vulnerability parameters include elevation, land slope, coastal morphology, land use, distance from the coastline, and distance from rivers. Additionally, bathymetric data and tsunami run-up based on historical tsunami events in the southern coastal areas of Java Island are utilized to assess the extent and depth of tsunami inundation. In the analysis of tourism suitability based on tsunami disaster mitigation, the suitable tourism area is located in the eastern part of Sidoarjo Village and the entire Ploso Village. These areas fall into the high tsunami risk zone, but their tourism potential is also high due to the coastal location of tourist attractions

Translating agile management practices into a traditional industry context

AbstractThis study explores the translation of agile management practices (agile) into a traditional industry context. Using a case study of agile adoption in a development project in a large traditional company of the aerospace and defense industry, this research investigates how the translation process unfolds by studying how both idea and context are adapted to create shared meaning. This research makes two main contributions. First, this research introduces translation theory to the innovation management literature and details its applicability in explaining variations in outcomes of applying management practices in new organizational contexts. Our research suggests that this constitutes a complementary theoretical lens to diffusion theory, enabling the explanation of the process to create shared meaning when idea and recipient context have a low level of compatibility. Second, this research shows the process of translating agile into a traditional context through a non‐linear joint creation of meaning. The process was shaped largely by the experience and resolution of project‐external (i.e., with the surrounding organization) and project‐internal conflicts, which in turn motivated the idea or context to adapt. The study identifies two central concepts, namely isolation, and shielding, which determine how the translation process unfolds and how meaning is created. Managerial implications based on these contributions are presented and discussed.

The Level of Family Compatibility in Irbid County, Jordan, During the Coronavirus Pandemic

Objective: To assess the level of family compatibility during the COVID-19 pandemic in the city of Irbid, Jordan. Methods: A descriptive-correlational approach was employed. The study population included all residents of Irbid County in 2021, estimated to be 856,200 individuals from 175,035 families. The study sample comprised 1000 participants, including 500 males and 500 females. A questionnaire was distributed through social media platforms to collect data, and a family compatibility scale during the COVID-19 pandemic was used to achieve the research objective. The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results: The study's findings indicated that (1) the level of family compatibility among the respondents was at a low level, reflecting a negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on family compatibility. (2) The higher the number of children, the lower the family compatibility. (3) There is no statistically significant effect of educational qualification and gender variables on family compatibility. (4) There is an effect of the age variable: the older the person, the higher the level of family compatibility. Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant adverse effect on family compatibility, not only in Jordan but also globally. Therefore, the study recommends that social policymakers prioritize this issue, and researchers should investigate other aspects of family compatibility.

Correctional Programs in Reform and Rehabilitation Centers in the Southern Governorates of Palestine and Their Impact on the Level of Psychological and Social Adjustment from the Perspective of Recidivist Inmates

Objectives: This study investigated the impact of rehabilitation programs on the psychological and social adaptation of recidivists in Palestine which was achieved by examining the level of implementation of rehabilitation programs and the psychological and social adaptation in different correction and rehabilitation centres. Methods: A systematic research design was adopted to achieve the goal of objective normative inquiry. Data was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive analysis and linear regression. This encompassed measuring correctional program effectiveness and psychological-social compatibility among 237 recidivist inmates in the southern governorates, chosen through simple random sampling. Results: The results of the study showed a high level of application of the correctional programs used from the point of view of the inmates of recidivism for crime, according to the relative weight of 73.6%. and social, by 12.3%, as well as a significant effect of the variable of age and the variable of educational level as extraneous variables on the relationship between the correctional programs scale and the psychological and social adjustment scale Psychological and social. Conclusions: The study concluded the presence of a high level of implementation of rehabilitation programs as perceived by recidivists, while also indicating a low level of psychological and social compatibility among recidivists. The study further concluded a significant impact of rehabilitation programs on psychological and social compatibility, as well as the influence of age and educational level. However, the study found no significant impact of social status and the duration of punishment.

Characterization of exopolysaccharide/potato starch nanocomposite films loading g-C3N4 and Ag and their potential applications in food packaging

The interest in nanocomposite films incorporating edible ingredients and active nanoparticles has surged due to their potential to enhance food quality and prolong shelf-life. This research focused on developing innovative exopolysaccharides (EPS)/potato starch (PS) nanocomposite films integrated with g-C3N4 and AgNO3. Extensive analysis was conducted to assess the microstructure, physical attributes and antimicrobial properties of these films. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) analysis revealed electrostatic and hydrogen bonding interactions within the film components. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS) data indicated a high level of compatibility among EPS, PS, g-C3N4, and AgNO3, with no new absorption peaks or characteristic signals of C3N4 and Ag appearing in the nanocomposite films patterns. The thickness, water solubility and water vapor permeability (WVP) of the EPS-PS-C3N4-Ag nanocomposite film increased due to the addition of g-C3N4, reached 0.31 ± 0.03 nm, 36.61 ± 1.76 % and 1.42 ± 0.34 × 10−10 g−1 s−1 Pa−1, respectively. While transparency, swelling degree, and oxygen permeability (OP) significantly decreased, reached 26.18 ± 2.38 %, 63.01 ± 2.51 % and 41.98 ± 1.28 %, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscope (AFM) images depicted an augmented roughness and porosity on the film surface upon integration of g-C3N4 and AgNO3. Moreover, the EPS-PS-C3N4-Ag nanocomposite film displayed enhanced mechanical strength due to the presence of g-C3N4. The melting temperature (Tm) of EPS-PS-C3N4-Ag nanocomposite film was 313.3 °C, the removal rates of DPPH and ABTS was 66.11 ± 2.87 % and 45.09 ± 1.23 % respectively. Significant inhibition of microbial growth was observed in film containing g-C3N4 and AgNO3, which demonstrated no toxicity towards NIH-33 cells, suggesting their potential application as promising active packaging material for food preservation.

Hierarchical Leader-Leader Fit: Examining Authentic Leader Dyads and Implications for Junior Leader Outcomes

Leaders at lower levels do not lead in a vacuum; they must lead within the context of the leadership they experience themselves from their next higher-level leader. We propose that lower-level leaders’ thoughts and attitudes and thereby their behaviors are influenced by the level of compatibility of their own style of leadership with that of their senior leader. Drawing from person-environment fit theory, we propose the concept of hierarchical leader-leader fit by assessing the level of congruence between the authentic leadership style of senior and junior leader dyads, and the resulting effects of levels of (mis)fit on the junior leader's behaviors in the form of performance and deviance. In two samples inclusive of both business and military leaders, using polynomial regression and response surface analysis, we find that fit (misfit) between the senior leader's and junior leader's respective levels of authentic leadership in the dyad is positively (negatively) associated with the junior leader's performance and is negatively (positively) associated with the junior leader's deviance. Surprisingly, when two leaders have high levels of fit, we find similar desirable effects on performance and deviance regardless of whether both leaders practice low (low-low) or high (high-high) levels of authentic leadership. Theoretical and practical implications of the degree of fit between leaders operating at different organizational levels, and of leadership as a contextually embedded relationship are discussed.

Functionalization strategy of carboxymethyl cotton gauze fabrics with zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (ZIF-67) as a recyclable material for biomedical applications

The accumulation of uremic toxins in the human body poses a deadly risk because it causes chronic kidney disease. To increase the effectiveness of hemodialysis and raise the survival rate, these toxins must be effectively removed from the bloodstream. Developing effective materials for removing these dangerous substances requires a thorough understanding of the interactions between an adsorbent and the uremic toxins. Thankfully, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have shown considerable promise for the identification and treatment of kidney disorders. Herein, cotton gauze fabrics (CGF) were carboxylated using monochloroacetic acid to produce carboxymethylated cotton gauze fabrics (CM-CGF). CM-CGF was subsequently decorated in situ with zeolitic imidazolate framework-67, resulting in carboxymethylated cotton gauze fabrics-zeolitic imidazolate framework-67 (CM-CGF-ZIF). The CGF, CM-CGF, and CM-CGF-ZIF were evaluated for potential kidney applications by removing uric acid and creatinine from mimic blood. The results showed that CM-CGF-ZIF had the highest adsorption of uric acid and creatinine. The maximum adsorption capacity of uric acid and creatinine was 164 and 222 mg/g for CM-CGF-ZIF, respectively, compared to 45 and 67 mg/g for CGF. CM-CGF-ZIF showed excellent antibacterial activity, good antifungal activity, low cytotoxicity, and a satisfactory level of blood compatibility.

Mechanical properties and microscopic analysis of water-castable engineered cementitious composites (WECC)

To address the difficulties in repairing underwater concrete panels and the unsatisfactory results of existing repair methods and materials, water-castable engineered cementitious composites (WECC) are developed. The effects of flocculant dosage on anti-dispersibility, fluidity, tensile behaviors, flexural behaviors, and fracture behaviors were investigated. XRD, MIP, and SEM tests were conducted on the WECC. Excellent tensile properties, flexural energy absorption capacity, and crack resistance are exhibited by the WECC. The increase in flocculant dosage decreases the dispersion degree during the underwater casting process of WECC, reduces the early hydration reaction rate, increases the internal porosity, resulting in a decrease in various mechanical properties. By comparing the tensile properties of WECC and WECC(L), while integrating microscopic analysis results, the performance loss mechanism of WECC and the tensile constitutive model have been identified. Additionally, the effects of (washed sea sand) sand-colloid ratio on workability and mechanical properties were investigated. When the sand-colloid ratio is 0.25, a higher level of compatibility between the fibers and the matrix is observed, and good ductility is demonstrated. Considering various performance factors, two mixed proportions have been established. The time, resources, and labor required for the repair process can be significantly reduced by using WECC for repairing underwater components, and the hydraulic structures can operate normally. The externally generated complex stress can be effectively released by WECC. The tested results provide crucial references for the underwater reinforcement of WECC.

Kepuasan Konsumen Atribut Produk Pakcoy di Rumah Buah Tirtayasa Kota Bandung

Pakcoy is one of the vegetable commodities sold at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa that has experienced sales that have not been on target for more than a year so Rumah Buah Tirtayasa needs to know the reason consumers buy pakcoy, the level of compatibility between the level of performance and the level of importance, and the level of consumer satisfaction after buying pakcoy at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa. The research design used was a quantitative design with a total of 67 respondents. This research uses descriptive analysis methods, Importance Performance Analysis, and Customer Satisfaction Index analysis. The results showed that (1) The characteristics of consumers of pakcoy products at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa are women aged early adulthood, namely 26-35 years who are married with income above the current UMR Bandung City of Rp 4,068,462 who work as private employees. Tirtayasa Fruit House pakcoy consumers buy and consume pakcoy for household needs and the majority of consumers have three family members. (2) Based on the results of the IPA calculation, the attributes that have been satisfactory are color, quality, price suitability with quality, availability, and taste, while the attributes whose performance needs to be improved are size, brand variation, packaging, and labels. (3) CSI's calculation results show that pakcoy consumers at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa are very satisfied with the performance of pakcoy attributes at Rumah Buah Tirtayasa. Companies must improve, innovate, improve performance, and educate consumers about the attributes that need to be improved. For future research, it is expected to examine more detailed attributes or use other variables related to consumer satisfaction.

Enhancing cellular affinity for skin disorders: Electrospun polyurethane/collagen nanofiber mats coated with phytoceramides

Although the use of thermoplastic polyurethane (Tpu) nanofiber mats as wound dressings is of great interest due to their mechanical properties, they are hindered by their poor wettability and bioavailability. In this study, we aimed to improve the cellular affinity of Tpu nanofiber mats for skin disorders by incorporating extracted collagen (Col) from tendons and physically mixed with a layer of phytoceramides (Phyto) to produce TpuCol@X-Phyto mats in which the weight % of Phyto relatively to the weight of the solution was X = 0.5, 1.0, or 1.5 wt% via facile electrospinning approach. The collective observations strongly indicate the successful incorporation and retention of Phyto within the TpuCol architecture. An increase in the Phyto concentration decreased the water contact angle from 69.4° ± 3.47° to 57.9° ± 2.89°, demonstrating improvement in the hydrophilicity of Tpu and binary blend TpuCol nanofiber mats. The mechanical property of 1.0 wt% Phyto aligns with practical requirements owing to the presence of two hydroxyl groups and the amide linkage likely contributing to various hydrogen bonds, providing mechanical strength to the channel structure and a degree of rigidity essential for transmitting mechanical stress. The proliferation of human skin fibroblast (HSF) peaked significantly 100 % with TpuCol@X-Phyto mats coated for X =1.0 and 1.5 wt% of Phyto. Electrospun scaffolds with the highest Phyto content have shown the lowest degree of hemolysis, demonstrating the high level of compatibility between them and blood. The TpuCol@1.5Phyto mat also demonstrated higher efficacy in antibacterial and antioxidant activities, achieving a rate of DPPH radical scavenging of 83.3 % for this latter property. The most notable wound closure among all tested formulations was attributed to higher Phyto. Thus, the developed TpuCol@1.5Phyto nanofiber formula exhibited enhanced healing in an in vitro epidermal model.

NLP-Based Decision Support System for PUV Management: Enhancing Services Through Passenger Feedback Analysis

This paper presents the development and evaluation of an NLP-Based Decision Support System for Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Management, focusing on enhancing services through passenger feedback analysis. The study addresses the need for improved public transportation quality in the Philippines, where PUVs play a vital role in daily commuting. The proposed system aims to digitize the passenger feedback process and utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to provide decision support for PUV operators. Methodologically, the study follows a phased approach based on the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Developed primarily using PHP as the programming language, with Vanilla JS, Bootstrap, and jQuery for backend development and frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6) for creating an interactive user interface, the system caters to the needs of its different users. The evaluation process incorporates the ISO 25010 standard for evaluating systems, and with the participation of 43 respondents from the province of Iloilo, the evaluation results revealed an overall mean score of 4.34, indicating an "Excellent" level of system functionality, reliability, portability, usability, performance efficiency, security, compatibility, and maintainability. This implies that PUV operators and management can use the developed system.

Non-covalent interaction induces controlled reinforcement of thermoplastic elastomer composites homologously incorporated with hydrophobized cellulose nanocrystals

Surface hydrophobization of cellulose nanocrystal (CNC) is developed through Pickering emulsion method and esterification-grafting, consequentially enhancing its thermal properties and hydrophobicity, and tensile modulus in thermoplastic elastomer composites. n-Tetradecenylsuccinic anhydride (TDSA) provides a high level of compatibility owing to the structural homology by non-covalent interactions between CNC-graft-TDSA and poly(styrene)-block-poly(isoprene)-block-poly(styrene) (SIS). Theoretical calculations supports the molecular-level insight on how the nanofiller and SIS interacts. Density functional theory calculations and the energy decomposition analysis reveal the stabilization free energy of −2.59 kcal mol−1 gained through hydrophobic and OH–π interactions, which is assigned as the key component for the superior mechanical properties. At the filler contents of 0.6–2.5 vol %, the moduli of the TPE nanocomposites gradually strengthen while retaining thermoplasticity, without sacrificing the ultimate tensile characteristics of SIS, although it is below the calculated φc of 5.9 vol % (critical percolation threshold) for filler-filler interactions. Origin of the controlled boost in filler-matrix binding is rationalized by pronounced hydrophobic interactions in isoprene-rich rubbery phase (86 wt % in SIS). Interestingly, at 5.1 vol % near to filler-filler interactions, even though reinforcements in storage/initial modulus, and toughness increase by up to 14/4.0-, and 1.2-fold, the tensile stress at break only decreases by 27 %.

Nanoscale-precipitate-strengthened (Ni,Cu)-rich TiNiCu shape memory alloy with stable superelasticity and elastocaloric performance

This study aimed to enhance the stability of the superelastic and elastocaloric properties of a Ti49Ni41Cu10 shape memory alloy through a synergistic approach combining compositional design and precipitation hardening. The alloy was subjected to a 168-h aging treatment at 400 °C. The aging treatment increased the hardness of the alloy due to the formation of nano-scale C11b Ti(Ni,Cu)2 precipitates. The C11b Ti(Ni,Cu)2 precipitates exhibited a coherent interface with the matrix, contributing to the significant strengthening effect. The thickness of the precipitates was measured to be approximately 2 nm. Additionally, the lattice compatibility between the B2 parent and B19 martensite phases, determined to be 0.997 after aging, indicated a high level of compatibility between the two phases. The high compatibility and precipitate strengthening further contributed to the functional stability of the alloy. The 168-h aged Ti49Ni41Cu10 shape memory alloy showed excellent functional stability during thermal and deformation cycles. The peak temperature of B2 to B19 transformation only decreased by 0.2 °C after 10 thermal cycles and showed limited changes with a decrement of 3.2 °C after 10,000 superelastic cycles. The Ti49Ni41Cu10 SMA showed a large elastocaloric temperature drop of 18 °C at the 1st superelastic cycle and maintained a large temperature drop of 17 °C after 1000 cycles. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the microstructural changes and their impact on the functional properties of the Ti49Ni41Cu10 shape memory alloy. This study has demonstrated the potential for developing shape memory alloys with improved stability and performance by utilizing compositional design and precipitation hardening techniques.

The potential of MOFs embedded in banana cellulose materials for application in dialysis

The accumulation of uremic toxins in the human body presents a fatal issue that leads to the development of chronic kidney disease. The effective removal of these toxins from the bloodstream is crucial for enhancing the efficacy of hemodialysis and improving the survival rate. A comprehensive understanding of the interactions between an adsorbent and the uremic toxins is vital in the development of efficient materials for the elimination of these hazardous compounds. In this study, we investigate the adsorption behavior of various toxins, namely cresol sulfate, and creatinine, using banana cellulose and its modified form with MOFs, namely Ni-BTC, Cu-BTC, and Co-BTC. The adsorption behavior is characterized using the Langmuir and Freundlich models. The analysis reveals that the Langmuir model provides a better fit to the isotherm data compared to the Freundlich model. Furthermore, the adsorption kinetics data indicate that both banana cellulose and its modified form with MOFs adhere to the pseudo-second-order rate models rather than the pseudo-first-order model. The capacities for adsorption of cresol sulfate by banana cellulose, Ni-BTC@cellulose, Cu-BTC@cellulose, and Co-BTC@cellulose were measured to be 115, 402, 509, and 577 mg/g, respectively. Conversely, the capacities for adsorption of creatinine were found to be 166, 514, 605, and 704 mg/g, respectively. The underlying mechanism of adsorption is contingent upon the van der Waals interactions and π–π interactions. Furthermore, even after undergoing five cycles, the removal efficiency for cresol sulfate and creatinine remained at 88 % and 85 %, respectively. These findings demonstrate the renderability of MOFs@cellulose. The antimicrobial activity of the prepared MOFs was recorded for all MOFs composites against tested pathogenic microbes. Additionally, the MOFs@cellulose exhibited a satisfactory level of blood compatibility. Consequently, these exceptional MOFs@cellulose present a promising opportunity for reducing costs associated with clinical hemodialysis.

Virus-like particle-based multipathogen vaccine of FMD and SVA elicits balanced and broad protective efficacy in mice and pigs

Inactivated vaccines lack the capability to serologically differentiate between infected and vaccinated animals, thereby impeding the effective eradication of pathogen. Conversely, vaccines based on virus-like particles (VLPs) emulate natural viruses in both size and antigenic structure, presenting a promising alternative to overcome these limitations. As the complexity of swine infectious diseases increases, the increase of vaccine types and doses may intensify the stress response. This exacerbation can lead to diminished productivity, failure of immunization, and elevated costs. Given the critical dynamics of co-infection and the clinically indistinguishable symptoms associated with foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) and senecavirus A (SVA), there is a dire need for an efficacious intervention. To address these challenges, we developed a combined vaccine composed of three distinct VLPs, specifically designed to target SVA and FMDV serotypes O and A. Our research demonstrates that this trivalent VLP vaccine induces antigen-specific and robust serum antibody responses, comparable to those produced by the respective monovalent vaccines. Moreover, the immune sera from the combined VLP vaccine strongly neutralized FMDV type A and O, and SVA, with neutralization titers comparable to those of the individual vaccines, indicating a high level of immunogenic compatibility among the three VLP components. Importantly, the combined VLPs vaccines-immunized sera conferred efficient protection against single or mixed infections with FMDV type A and O, and SVA viruses in pigs. In contrast, individual vaccines could only protect pigs against homologous virus infections and not against heterologous challenges. This study presents a novel combined vaccines candidate against FMD and SVA, and provides new insights for the development of combination vaccines for other viral swine diseases.

The effect of an educational curriculum according to mental maps in learning the effectiveness of 100m hurdles for the female coaches of the Ministry of Education team


 Learners at all levels face confusion in the process of learning new skills, or usually, the methods of learning for skills are traditional and routine, which causes the lack of learning in an optimal way, which is known as the problems of learning. Barriers in all its stages for female students The aim of the research was to - identify the effect of the educational curriculum according to mental maps in learning to perform the effectiveness of 100 m barriers for players. The researcher defined her research community with students from the first ten Karkh Education Team players, who are (10) students, and the researcher chose a sample of his entire research by (10) students and the researcher used experimental design, with a single group to suit the nature of the problem and the researcher used the statistical bag (SPSS) and used (middle) Arithmetic, standard deviation, T-test for analog samples, torsional coefficient) to extract its results. The most important conclusions - the effect of the educational program according to mental maps positively on motor physical intelligence and creative thinking. - The educational program, according to the mental maps, had a positive effect on learning to perform a run of 100 meters. - Mind maps provided objective information on the level of neuromuscular compatibility in working muscles for the effectiveness of running 100 m hurdles.The most important recommendations came: - The necessity of using mental maps prepared for female students, and in special preparation specifically. - The need to use mental mapping techniques in order to provide objective information about the level of compatibility with the neuromuscular effort. - The need to use mental maps, as it has an effect in accelerating the learning process.
 

Exploring δ13 C data compatibility in a broad δ13 C range: Reassembling δ13 C values obtained for NIST CO2 RMs 8562-8564 at different laboratories.

Stable isotope datasets obtained in different laboratories over years must be compared and combined. The strict compatibility in δ13 C at ±0.01‰ and ±0.02‰, k= 1, respectively, is required for observations of greenhouse gases CO2 and methane. That implies the long-term compatibility of calibrations realized at different laboratories. Thus far, this level of compatibility has not been demonstrated for pure CO2 in a broad δ13 C range and over years. We reassemble the δ13 C obtained in different laboratories for NIST CO2 RMs 8562-8564, which are pure CO2 gases. If the measurements are based on independent calibrations and reported on the same 17 O correction framework, δ13 C of all three RMs can be used to estimate the long-term δ13 C data compatibility. δ13 C values obtained in different laboratories for NIST CO2 RMs 8562-8564 (a range of δ13 C from ~ -3.7‰ to ~ -41.6‰) from 1998 to 2020 agree within their uncertainties. Two NIST studies (1999 and 2004) have combined data from several laboratories using different Isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) methods and somewhat different approaches. Three single-laboratory studies (2003, 2008, and 2020) have used the same type of IRMS and similar approaches. The δ13 C values from these laboratories agree within ±0.01‰, k= 1, over the entire δ13 C range and have uncertainties about two times lower than those obtained at NIST by combining data from several laboratories. The δ13 C values for NIST CO2 RMs 8562-8564 obtained in three laboratories using the same IRMS (2003, 2008, and 2020) agree within ±0.01‰, k= 1. First, this confirms the long-term stability in δ13 C of RMs 8562-8564. Second, this example of compatibility in δ13 C calibrations on pure CO2 , from -3.7‰ to -41.6‰, is relevant to stable isotope measurements of greenhouse gases CO2 and methane. Third, this confirms the high accuracy of the δ13 C(air-CO2 ) calibrations performed in 2003 and 2008 for the project Civil Aircraft for the Regular Investigation of the atmosphere Based on an Instrumented Container (CARIBIC).

Autolytic capsules incorporating alkali-activated slag system for self-healing cementitious composites

The optimization of healing materials used in capsules for effective crack self-healing has garnered significant attention. This study focused on the development of a novel capsule using a full-solid-waste alkali-activated slag system. Instead of traditional cement clinker and chemical agents, healing materials such as red mud, calcium carbide residue, phosphogypsum, and ground granulated blast furnace slag were used. The capsules were autolytic due to the retardation and weak expansion properties of gypsum. The healing mechanisms were mainly attributed to the formation of ettringite and calcium silicate hydrate. Crack width, crack area, and strength recovery tests were used to thoroughly analyze the self-healing behavior of the capsules. Detailed characterizations were conducted to understand the healing products and the evolution process. The results showed that cracks with initial widths less than 350 μm were well-healed, with a healing ratio ranging from 55% to 100% for all cracks (initial widths <600 μm). The cementing characteristics of the healing products were significantly increased by the formation of substantial ettringite, which led to an enhanced strength recovery ratio. Crucially, the composition of the healing products closely resembled the hydrates in the matrix, suggesting that the healed mortar had a high level of system compatibility. These results highlighted the potential of the developed alkali-activated slag capsule in promoting self-healing of cracked cementitious composites.

Assessment of the relationship between psychophysiological compatibility and sports qualifications in rhythmic gymnastics

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of psychophysiological compatibility (PPC) and sports qualifications in group rhythmic gymnastics. 20 girls from 4 rhythmic gymnastics sports teams of various sports qualifications participated in this study: one team consisted of athletes of the first adult sports category, two teams – of candidates for master of sports, one – of masters of sports. The level of PPC in the teams was assessed using the hardware and software complex SIGVET-TEAM and the Pearson correlation coefficient (r). The positive relationship between the growth of PPC and sports qualifications was revealed as a result of the study. At the same time, the analysis of the individual result of athletes demonstrates a great variability in the specific contribution within the groups. This fact raises new questions about the importance of PPC at various stages of athletic training in group rhythmic gymnastics.

Attitude of society towards them is caused their incompatibility and dissatisfaction between their soul and body. The behavior of Islamic scholarship and law with regard to the issue of transgender is an important subject. As Pakistan is an Islamic state, a legislation is enacted the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2018 to address their issues and with the aim to provide rights to the transgender and for their welfare.
