This research was conducted to identify the influence of liquidity and company size on the company's financial performance. This objective aims to determine whether the Company's liquidity level, such as the current ratio, quick ratio and total assets, has a significant relationship with the Company's financial performance. The results of this research show that liquidity has a positive effect on the financial performance of technology companies listed on the BEI in 2020 - 2022. The higher the level of company liquidity, the higher the company's financial performance, that company size influences the financial performance of technology companies listed on the BEI in 2020 - 2022. 2020 - 2022. The Effects and Driving Factors of Low-Carbon Transition of International Oil Companies: Evidence from a Super-SBM Model

As the main source of energy supply and carbon emissions, the oil and gas industry has entered the comprehensive low-carbon transition stage driven by various factors. Since different oil companies possess distinct understandings of transition paths, the effect of low carbon transition varies greatly. Obviously, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of low-carbon transitions within the oil and gas industry. Therefore, in this paper, 10 major international oil companies are taken as examples, and a super-efficiency slack-based measurement (super-SBM) model is applied in the present study to analyze the efficiency of low-carbon transitions. Furthermore, the logarithmic mean Divisia index (LMDI) is used to decompose the driving factors of carbon emissions and analyze their impact on the low-carbon transition of international oil companies. The obtained results reveal that although major oil companies have taken different measures in low-carbon transition and achieved a year-on-year reduction in carbon emissions, from the perspective of the efficiency of the entire production and operation process, these oil companies are inefficient in carbon emissions and need to adopt more effective low-carbon transition strategies; Moreover, after the further decomposition of the carbon emission driving factors of the 10 companies, it is found that improving the energy consumption intensity and development level of oil companies can effectively improve the effect of low-carbon transition of international oil companies. Drawing on the above findings, this paper puts forward suggestions for the low-carbon transition of energy companies, thus providing theoretical support and guidance for energy companies in different countries to implement low-carbon transition and green development strategies.

Implementation of Objective Matrix and Root Cause Analysis for Productivity Analysis PT. Indomarco Adi Prima SP Deket Lamongan

PT Indomarco Adi Prima Stock Point Deket Lamongan is one of the business units of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, which distributes consumer products. The company has 300 outlets in grocery stores and modern stores with a distribution target of 30 outlets for each salesman in a day. However, in its implementation, the target is only sometimes achieved. Other problems, such as product delivery errors and delivery delays, occur frequently. This research aims to analyze the company's productivity level using the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method. Productivity measurement also involves the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in determining the weight of each ratio. Based on the calculation of productivity during the measurement period from January 2022 to December 2022 using Objective Matrix (OMAX), the results obtained are productivity index values that decreased during the measurement period, namely February (-4,75%), March (-3.90%), May (-17.48%), June (-11.92%), July (-31.28%), and October (-7.04%). Then, based on the results of productivity indicator analysis, it is known which ratio indicator has the lowest value and causes the productivity index to fall, namely ratio 1, ratio 2, ratio 5, ratio 6, and ratio 7. The decrease in productivity index based on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using fishbone diagram tools due to no heat reducer, no computer and truck maintenance schedule, less communication between employees, travel time estimation is not good, attendance system updates are not carried out, limited warehouse area, high work intensity, no instructions for the preparation of goods in the warehouse area, stock goods arrive late, rainy season, road repairs, no periodic checks, and unpredictable road conditions.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM AT COMPANIES

The article describes the main features of the contemporary accounting system and evaluates the impact of its development factors at the company level from the perspective of practicing accountants. In particular, the authors examine the influence of information technologies on the organization of accounting; the tendency to separate tax and financial accounting; overloading of the accounting regulatory framework, changes in accounting related to integration processes in Ukraine. In addition, the study defines the problems of contemporary accounting, including: the complexity of the regulatory and legal framework; risk of abuse; development of information technologies; the need for additional accountant qualifications; the need to standardize rules and formats of financial reporting; the complication of accounting associated with the development of the world economy. The authors proposed directions for solving problems of the accounting system.

Corporate digital transformation, governance shifts and executive pay-performance sensitivity

We utilized text mining techniques to gauge a company's level of digital transformation and found that the higher the degree of digitalization, the more apparent the decoupling of executive compensation from performance, indicating lower sensitivity of executive pay to performance outcomes. Within the framework of agency theory, digital technology empowers shifts in corporate governance models, enabling process-based behavioral monitoring and constraining governance mechanisms, thereby reducing reliance on outcome-based incentive mechanisms. Heterogeneous analysis reveals that the substitutive effect of digitization on the pay-performance sensitivity is more pronounced in companies with lower executive ownership. These companies often rely more on compensation incentives in the absence of digital technology. Moreover, the effectiveness of digital technology in enhancing governance depends on the user's wealth of knowledge and technical proficiency. We additionally confirmed that digital transformation has a positive impact on mitigating agency problems, as it enhances information quality, improves internal control standards, reduces excessive perk, and diminishes managerial short-termism. In essence, digital transformation indeed elevates governance regime. Furthermore, we discovered that digitalization increases the association between compensation and executive effort. Our research findings provide a fresh perspective on corporate governance and executive incentive mechanisms in emerging markets.

Combination of lean thinking and A3 problem-solving methods to reduce the cost of purchasing cleaning agents in a paint manufacturer in Indonesia

One of the manufacturing industries for making solvent-based and water-based paints is located in the Cikarang area, West Java. This paint company is experiencing an increase in production due to a large number of requests for various products. The company's level of cleanliness in maintaining quality and reducing waste of operational costs is the key to the company's success in becoming an international standard company. Every year the company incurs the cost of purchasing a cleaning agent imported from Norway because it is a basic requirement in material inventory to meet customer satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to reduce the wasted costs of purchasing cleaning agents originating from imports, maintaining 5S conditions, and fulfilling customer satisfaction. The method used in this study is a combination of the lean thinking method and the most effective A3 problem-solving method which can help create consistent, clear, and structured problem-solving documentation. This research found that there is a very large cost to buy a cleaning agent in 2021 of IDR 114,331,430 which must be spent by companies in using cleaning agents. The results of this study found that there was a reduction in the cost of purchasing a cleaning agent in 2022 to IDR 4,897,900. Therefore this paint company gets operational cost savings in purchasing cleaning agent materials of 97.71%.

Enterprise digital transformation and supply chain management

This paper empirically tests that enterprise digital transformation is an important means to strengthen supply chain management, providing a new research perspective and empirical evidence for improving the level of supply chain management. The empirical research results show that enterprise digital transformation can significantly improve the company's level of supply chain management. The results of heterogeneity analysis indicate that this effect is more pronounced in samples with a high level of marketization and high industry competition intensity. The conclusions of this study offer new insights for enterprises to use digital transformation to promote the optimization of supply chain management.

Pencegahan Risiko Postur Kerja Melalui Analisa dan Rancangan Ergonomi pada Karyawan PT Asiana Garment

PT Asiana Garment is a garment company that has just opened its production site. The company also uses many tools and technologies to carry out the production process. Apart from the availability of tools and technology to achieve a smooth production process and increase the company's productivity level, ergonomic analysis of work posture is also needed. Work posture analysis was carried out on sewing and overlock operators. The results of the analysis using the REBA method showed that sewing operators had a moderate level of risk and needed improvement. The overlock operator was found to be at a high risk level and immediately required repairs. The improvement made was by redesigning the size of the chair used by the operator. The results of the design dimensions are for chair height 44.34 cm, chair length 33.8 cm, chair width 44.34 cm, chair back height 45.31 cm, and chair back width 53.92 cm

Persian game localization scene in Iran: taking stock

ABSTRACT The present study focuses on providing a descriptive account of the Persian game localization scene by offering a diachronic and synchronic account of the video games localized in the Iranian market. This is done through compiling a list of the officially and unofficially localized video games into Persian between 2000 and 2022. The localized video games are analyzed in terms of localization company, publication date, genre, platform, and localization levels. The findings suggest that official Persian game localization has been in place since the early-2000s, whereas the unofficial localization of video games is a rather incipient phenomenon in Iran, starting in the mid-2010s. Furthermore, partial localization, focused on the dubbing of games’ audio assets, used to be the most frequent localization level aimed at by official Iranian localization companies, while official game localization is currently carried out at the level of box and docs localization. Additionally, partial localization is the preferred localization level by unofficial Iranian game localization teams, with subtitles and user interface of video games being localized into Persian. The findings have implications for international game development and localization companies considering Iran, and similarly oft-ignored locales, as a potential target market.

Evaluating the Organizational Effectiveness of Industrial Enterprises Using Game Theory

Assessment of organizational effectiveness is critical to any organization. The purpose of this paper is to present a mixed approach using game theory analysis to assess the performance of organizational effectiveness within organizations. To assess the competence of each unit in assessing organizational effectiveness, the relationship between different departments within an organization is modeled based on effectiveness indicators. Furthermore, indicators related to each aspect of organizational effectiveness are expressed as inputs and outputs for determining effectiveness. The proposed model has been implemented in 20 different industrial enterprises within Slovakia, based on the information obtained in 2022. This paper is based solely on the financial and economic data of various manufacturing companies in Slovakia. With approximately 500 statements, over a period of 6 years, this paper is expected to be able to describe organizational effectiveness, which may provide a potential indication of the company's level of viability in the coming years. Statistical analyses are also performed to monitor the general practicality of the data.

Leveraging computer-assisted audit tools for corporate sustainability: Evidence from Ethiopia

The existing ample literature studied the factors for adopting computer-assisted audit techniques (CAATs) by internal and external auditors, frequently ignoring their impact on the quality of audits and companies’ efficiency. This study delivers new evidence on the kinds of CAATs utilized by internal auditors, examines their adoption impact on corporate sustainability, and studies the moderating impact of company characteristics. This study used data from internal auditors in Ethiopia gathered using a survey, and the study hypotheses were tested using the partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The study found a moderate utilization of CAATs by internal auditors in executing their activities. The result also revealed a highly positive impact of internal auditors’ CAAT utilization on fraud discovery in the acquisition process. The study found that the intensity of this relationship is impacted by the companies’ characteristics of management commitment. However, the size and type of the company are not impacting it. This study finding complements prior studies and helps practitioners make decisions that can improve CAAT utilization in internal audit functions for a high level of companies’ sustainability.

Influence of Green Banking and Financial Performance Implementation to Profitability Levels in Conventional Banking Financial Companies Listed On the Indonesian Stock Exchange Period 2020

The Interesting talks in the company in Indonesia is about social and environmental issues. This event corresponds to the publication of Presidential Regulation No. 92 of 2020 pertaining to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. As a result, having complete and accurate environmental information will lead to better environmental performance. In this situation, financial services firms such as banks can help to realize a green environment by channeling financing to environmentally friendly and sustainable businesses. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Green Banking and Financial Performance on the Level of Profitability in Conventional Bank Sector Financial Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2022 term. For a total sample of 21 enterprises, this study used the purposive sampling method and secondary data in the form of financial statements. SPSS 24.0 was used to analyze the data using the multiple linear regression analysis approach. The findings revealed that Green Accounting has a marginally (Test t) insignificant influence on Return On Asset (ROA). Return On Asset (ROA) is influenced by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), BOPO, and Loan to Deposit Asset Ratio (LDR).

Knowledge Management Maturity Level of Steel Fabricator Companies in Indonesia

Improving the maturity of knowledge management implementation is considered a promising approach that can help companies to gain a competitive advantage and improve company competitiveness. This study was conducted to evaluate the achievement of the maturity level of knowledge management implementation in steel fabricator companies in Indonesia using the methodology published by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in 2020. The evaluation was carried out on 7 steel fabricator companies in Indonesia with a non-random judgmental quota sampling method by distributing questionnaires, each of the question of indicators can be rate from 1 (doing poorly) to 5 (doing very well). Based on the results of the analysis, found that from 7 categories, there are some categories need to be improved, they are "Learning and Innovation", "Knowledge Processes" and "People”. It is found that the maturity level of the application of knowledge management for steel fabricators in Indonesia is at the expansion level, where knowledge management has been implemented but has not been carried out thoroughly in the organization.

Strengthening the competitiveness of state-owned enterprises

State-owned enterprises (SOE)s tend to be rigid, bureaucratic, and hierarchical, making competition difficult. In addition, the change in fertilizer policy to a free market has suppressed the competitiveness of state-owned fertilizer companies in Indonesia. This research is intended to strengthen the competitiveness of SOE fertilizer companies. It employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to elaborate data from a survey of 344 respondents at the middle-up management level in state-owned fertilizer-producing companies. The research results show that dynamic and marketing capabilities shape a company's competitiveness more strongly than strategic fit or knowledge management. Agility and resilience are vital for measuring a company's competitiveness. Therefore, SOE fertilizer producers must respond quickly and effectively by reconfiguring resources to change by forming an implementation task force for future business transformations. The agility and resilience of a company are the two most vital indicators of competitiveness of a state-owned fertilizer enterprise. Dynamic capabilities and marketing capabilities primarily influence competitiveness. Therefore, state-owned fertilizer enterprises must shift their attention to innovation and market orientation to enhance their future competitiveness.

Identification of Key Factors of Digital Transformation of Manufacturing companies Using Hybrid DEMATEL Method

This study constructs the influencing factors system of digital transformation of manufacturing companies and determines the influencing factors of digital transformation of manufacturing companies from the technical level, the ability level, the environmental level in order to promote the process of digital transformation of manufacturing companies, consider the impact of technology, capacity and environment on digital transformation of manufacturing. To identify the most important factors and crucial factors, developed a model for identifying critical factors based on the hybrid DEMATEL (Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) methodology. Combined with the related data, this study carries out empirical analysis to demonstrate and verify the influencing factors system of digital transformation of manufacturing companies with the help of hybrid DEMATEL method. The empirical analysis results indicate that the investment share of digital technology, the benefit level of company of manufacturing industry and government support are the crucial factors, and the construction level of digital platform, the technical level of employees, level of construction of digitized equipment and industrial supporting capacity are the non crucial factors. The feasibility and validity of hybrid DEMATEL method are verified.

THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL RATIO ON FINANCIAL DISTRESS IN INDONESIA SHARIA COMMERCIAL BANKS

An early warning system can be implemented to anticipate the presence of financial distress, which will threaten financial problems. Altman Z-score is a tool for predicting a company's bankruptcy level by calculating several financial ratios. This study aimed to see whether finances can affect financial distress in Indonesian Islamic Banks. This study used Eviews software version 10 with panel data analysis techniques. The research object is the Indonesian Sharia Commercial Bank, which published semiannual financial reports from 2017-2022. Based on information on the official OJK website, there are 12 Islamic Commercial Banks, but only 9(nine) banks meet the sample criteria in this study. The results of the study show that ROA and CR have a significant positive effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, ROE and DER have a significant negative effect on financial distress. Unlike the case with NPF, which has no significant effect on financial distress.

A dynamic framework to align company climate reporting and action with global climate targets

AbstractThere are global aspirations to reach net zero emissions, which triggered the development of standards, guidance and tools to measure and manage climate action across countries, sectors and companies. However, carbon accounting inaccuracies, ambiguous emissions disclosures and unambitious climate targets are hampering these aspirations. This paper reports on the disparity between high‐level guidance and practical implementation of carbon accounting and reporting at company level. By conducting a systematic literature analysis and focussing on the English Water sector, we utilise case study data from Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL), to identify limitations in the current guidance and frameworks. The results indicate the necessity for enhanced alignment in high‐level guidance, particularly regarding the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the Science‐Based Target Initiative. It is evident that clarity and consistency from high‐level resources are essential for climate mitigation. This paper shows, depending on the sector and company types, that different benefits are gained from using the available resources. We propose a carbon measurement and management process for the English Water sector (and beyond) to reach net zero targets and make recommendations for decision makers. This helps to understand best practices of carbon accounting and reporting and to make effective investment decisions. Consequently, we advocate for policy interventions to improve the standardisation of carbon accounting models. Harmonising international regulatory frameworks and standards is needed, which will empower organisations to effectively assess, manage and reduce their carbon footprints.

Selecting indicators for measuring progress towards sustainable development goals at the global, national and corporate levels

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) guide towards sustainability across a broad palette of aspects. Since their adoption by the United Nations in 2015, many organizations have started using them to relate their own sustainability performance. However, there exists no consensus nor science-based methods for performing such assessments, hence bringing the risk of cherry-picking and arbitrary target-setting among the 17 goals and potentially compromising the robustness, usefulness, and credibility of SDG assessment. To address this, we propose a framework that enables to systematically evaluate or select indicators for assessing and monitoring SDG performance at different scales. A critical review of sustainability indicator selection criteria was performed, forming the basis for recommendations of existing criteria. Two separate applications of the framework are operationalized, namely the evaluation of existing indicator sets and the selection of new indicators, respectively. The guide is tested and demonstrated on two different proof-of-concept cases representing the global level and the company level. The results demonstrate that the proposed framework allows decision-makers to systematically evaluate and select SDG indicators for different scopes, offering stronger scientifically founded indicator sets and reducing unintentional bias. Furthermore, the framework still provides the flexibility of tailoring indicators in the selection process, allowing the user to freely select the indicators to be tested. The framework and criteria are central inputs for the indicator selection phase and represent an essential step towards a full-fledged, consistent framework for SDG performance assessments.

Detection of Determinants Bank Sustainability Performance

Banks are financial institutions that function as a means of transactions carried out by the public in the form of deposits or loans. This study stems from the discovery of the problem company's sustainability level in commercial banks in the BUKU 4 group in 2019 which declined after being analyzed using the Financial ustainability Ratio accompanied by conditions of economic growth in Indonesia whichworsened from the previous year. This study was conducted to determine the effect of financial ratios in the form of Return on Assets, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio, and Non-Performing Loans on Financial. Sustainability Ratio using quantitative research methods through multiple linear regression analysis. The use of a sample of 5 banks out of 7 population banks was determined using the purposive sampling method and using quarterly company reports from 2017-2019. Based on the results of the study indicate that the Return on Assets, Loans to Deposit Ratio, and Non-Performing Loans have a significant effect on the Financial Sustainability Ratio. While the Capital Adequacy Ratio has no significant effect.

Prosedur Dalam Penetapan Harga Produk Pada PT. Mirota KSM

For every company that produces products, whether goods or services, it has a social goal and seeks profit and maintains the continuity of its business amidst competition. To achieve these company goals requires good coordination of all existing management functions. One thing that companies need to pay attention to in order to be able to compete amidst increasingly fierce business competition is good procedures in setting prices. Good and appropriate procedures for setting prices at PT Mirota KSM need to be carried out so that having appropriate pricing procedures can help the company to survive in the midst of market competition because price is a component that has a direct influence on the company's profit level. This research aims to determine the procedural steps in determining product prices at PT. Mirota KSM. The type of research used is qualitative research by describing phenomena and facts. Data was obtained from observations and interviews during industrial visit activities carried out. Based on research on procedures for determining product prices at PT. Mirota KSM can be concluded that there are six procedural steps for setting prices that can be taken into consideration by companies in developing policies in setting prices for their products, including: choosing a price target, determining demand, estimating costs, analyzing competitors' offers and prices, choosing a pricing method, and choose the final price.
