Learning Evaluation Analysis at SDN 101768 Jalan Besar Tembung, Hutan, Percut Sei Tuan Subdistrict

Evaluation is one of the most crucial things to do in learning. Learning evaluation is a continuous and systematic process for assessing student learning progress. Evaluation helps teachers to find out the extent to which learning success improves the quality of learning as expected and provides feedback between teachers and students when the learning proses is underway. There are several kinds of evaluation methods that can be given and carried out by teachers, namely tests, observations, projects and portfolios. The evaluation process also to take into account the uniqueness and needs of each individual. Apart from that, evaluation also aims to collect student information regarding student progress, development and achievements in the learning process. This research was carried out at SDN 101768 Jalan Besar Tembung, Hutan, Percut Sei Tuan District. The purpose of thi research is to find out the evaluatiom carried out by teachers on students during the learning process. In line with the objectives, this research used a qualitative approach with interview and observation methods. Researchers interviewed several teachers to obtain information in the field.

PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN DAN HASIL BELAJAR KELAS VII A SEMESTER GENAP MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI SMP NEGERI 1 GIRIMARTO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

The aim of this research areto improbe the actives and skills the students of SMPN 1 Girimarto in understanding the material learning through Problem Based Learning (PBL). Especially this research are expected can improve the students skill in understanding the material learning, the student's skill are improve with the indicators: (1)75% students get 75 score, (2)75% students are motivated in the learning process, (3)75% students are condusive in the teching learning proses, (4)75% teachers have more experience and knowledge about teching technique. This research use descriptive comparative method. Technique or PBL model include: 1) identify the topic, 2) determine the aim of learning, 3) identify ing problems, 4) materi access. Based on the classroom action research above it can be concluded that PBL can improve the actives and students skill to understanding materil learning, and the used of PBL learning can improve the active and the result of the learning on VII A in the second semester SMPN1Girimarto in academic year 2022/2023.

DEVELOPING SPEAKING MATERIAL BASED ON THE TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE (TPR) METHOD FOR THE EIGHT GRADE STUDENT

The background of the development of speaking material based on Total Physical Response (TPR) is looking at the state of the learning method in general. The objectives of this study analyzed the process of development, validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the method for teaching speaking based on the 2013 of problems: 1) developing speaking material based on Total Physical Response (TPR) for the eighth-grade student. 2) The feasibility the developing speaking material based on the Total physical response (TPR) Method for the eighth-grade student.
 
 The researcher applied the research and development (R&D) from Sugiyono (2016). The data were collected in only 8 steps. The subject of this study was VIII B at MTS Syech Subakir Nglegok which consist of 30 students who participated the in the testing activities. The collection techniques used were observation through interviews and Questionaire. Experts’ validation and students learning outcomes tests. While the data analysis techniques used were validity analysis, practical analysis, and effectiveness analysis of learning speaking based on the Total Physical Response (TPR) Method.
 
 The results of the design and development show that the model Total Physical Response is valid, the average of the two material experts, media experts, and learning experts is 80%. The test results show that the model is effective. This research was conducted in class VIII MTS Sheikh Subakir Nglegok. The class consists of 30 students involved in the needs analysis and trials that use the method of one experimental design group pre and post-test. The pre-test (57,75) results increase in the post-test (78) results. In the paired sample t-test, the t-count is 17,71 with a t-table of 3,767. The product is valid and can be used as a medium in the teaching and learning proses. The English-speaking material based on Total Physical Response was completed with the teacher and student book. It made the teacher easily use the method. The Total Physical Response (TPR) Method enchanted the students' speaking and Appropriate with the 2013 Curriculum.

The Influence Of The Principal's Leadership, Work Motivation, Organizational Culture And Work Environment On Teacher Performance At SMK PGRI 5 Jembe

The performance of teachers is a teacher’s ability to plan and implement teaching learning proses, how to manage classes well, evaluate the result of the students’ achievement, and use learning media. The teachers performance in carrying out their duties and responsibilities will have a major impact on success of education. Many factors influenced the success of the teachers work, namely the leadership of the principal, motivation, organizational culture and work environment. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the partial and simultaneous on the influence of principal leadership, motivation, organizational culture and work environment on teachers’ performance at SMK PGRI 5 Jember. The sample in this study is 58 teachers. Meanwhile, the sampling technique used to collect data is using non-probability sampling (saturated census sampling). This study uses a quantitative method by looking at the influence of the variables studied. Data colletion technique is questionnaire. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The results showed that the principal’s leadership, motivation, organizational culture, and work environment partially and simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers.

Relevansi Nilai Moral dalam Antologi Cerpen Pacar Seorang Seniman Karya W. S. Rendra pada Pembelajaran Sastra

This article aims to explain the moral aspect in the short story anthology of Pacar Seorang Seniman by W. S. Rendra. This research uses short stories in the anthology of Pacar Seorang Seniman by W. S. Rendra using an analytic descriptive method with a qualitative approach. A pragmatic approach is used to deep review Rendra's 186-pages anthology which was published in its first printing, October 2016. The data collection used in this research is the reading and note-taking technique. The results of the study show that in this anthology there are moral values related to oneself, moral values among humans, humans and God, and humans and nature. Many moral values are conveyed by the author in the collection of Pacar Seorang Seniman short stories, either through the author's description or dialogue between the characters. This is applied as a means for cultivating the noble characters as stated in the 2013 Curriculum. The short story collections of Pacar Seorang Seniman has met the criteria for literary appreciation materials so that it is appropriate to be used as the appreciation materials for learning prose at the high school level, that is the analyzing values in literary works.

KELAYAKAN PENUNTUN PRAKTIKUM STRUKTUR DAN FUNGSI JARINGAN TUMBUHAN DENGAN INFORMASI KETEBALAN DAUN DAN LAJU TRANSPIRASI

This study determined the feasibility of a submaterial practical guidelines for tissue structure and function in plants of class XI SMA with information of leaf thickness and transpiration rate as teaching materials. The research method was descriptive. Validation of practical guidelines consisted of two stages, namely instruments and practical guidelines validation. Instrument validation was carried out by one biology education lecturer at FKIP UNTAN and one biology teacher for class XI SMA Pontianak. Validation of the practical guidline was conduted by 5 validators including 2 biology educaton lecturers at FKIP UNTAN and 3 biology teachers for class XI SMA Pontianak. Validation use questionnaire with for aspect an 15 criteria filled using likert scale and analised by lawshe method. Researh of validation pratical guidelines often CVR value of 0.88. Practical guidelines requires improvement of material, construction, practicality and performance aspects to be use as learning proses.

RHETORICAL ANALYSIS OF CONTESTANT’S SPEECHES IN SPEECH CONTEST OF "STEC FESTIVAL BAHASA" COMPETITION AT IAIN KUDUS

Conducting speech contest in the college belongs to learning process in developing language skill. It is a kind of public speaking as realization of communicative competence in teaching and learning process. It conveys the message delivered to the audience. Message must be prepared in written form before it is performed . then the teacher must guide the students in constructing the text in delivering the message. Speech was performed has to fulfill the structure of organization and supplementary components. One of the strategic in delivering good speech is rethorical language. Rethorical languge consist of suppoting language developed in the speech for example hyperbole, alliteration, metaphor, repetition, irony, metonymies and rethorical question. This study conducted the the reseach to determine the importance speech in the teaching and learning proses. This study analysed the structure of the text. Moreover this study also revealed the rethorical language of the winner of speech competition held in IAIN Kudus. It was conducted using descriptive qualitative method in which the data anlysis used content anaysis. Based the analysis ,It was found that there were 9 items of rethorical language from the speech text that consist of 5 metaphors and 4 rethorical questions.

Indonesian teachers manage their lesson plans in learning prose

Planning is a function of management that needs to be done before the implementation of an activity, whether they are activities in organisations, institutions, schools or in learning. Improper lesson planning makes goal achievement not optimal. Therefore, this study aims to describe the learning planning of prose literature that affects character education. To achieve the objectives of this study, the research method used is quantitative methods. The data collection tool is a questionnaire distributed via online media to seventh-grade teachers of junior high school in Indonesia. The results of the research analysis show that F-value is calculated as 8,614.787 with a significant value of 0.001, which means it is smaller than 0.05, so the hypothesis is accepted with the simultaneous statement that learning planning management of prose literature (X) has a significant effect on the character education (Y) of grade VII students of a public junior high school in Indonesia, and it can be implemented. The implementation of prose literature learning planning will be carried out well if character education is integrated into the learning implementation planning component.

Peningkatan Keterampilan Menulis Siswa Kelas V SDN 03/04 Margoyoso Menggunakan Media Youtube

This study aims to improve the writing skills of 5th grade students of SD Negeri 04 Margoyoso by using YouTube as the media. The main problem in this mini research study is that students are lazy and find difficult to write a lot because of the length of online learning due to the pandemic. It can be seen from the result of student writing, unstructured interviews, and class observations and collection of documentation. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 03/04 Margoyoso in the odd semester of the academic year 2021/2022 with the research subjects being 22 students in 5th grade. This research is a mini classaction research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Quantitative data in the form of writing skill scores were analyzed descriptively. Students writing skills increased from the precycle score of 45.56%, increased in the first cycle of 54.55% and increased again in the second cycle of 72.73%. The succes of the learning proses can be seen in the activities of students who are enthusiastic and antusiastic about participating in learning.

Learning methods to improve communication skills in health professional student: a literature review

Background: Effective communication is one of patient safety's foundations that health workers must consider. Poor communication will impact both patients and health professionals. Health profession students have to comprehend communication skills to improve patient safety when providing care for the patient. They have learned effective communication from the education stage through various learning strategies. This study aims to identify multiple learning methods to improve effective communication learning in health professional students.Methods: This study is a literature review by looking for the main article according to the inclusion criteria of effective learning and communication methods for health professional students. The search was conducted on several databases with ScienceDirect 32,322, Ebsco 1,644, ProQuest 48,449, and SpringerNature 4,994 articles. The result was that nine articles were screened with the PRISMA chart guide.Results: The results showed that several learning methods such as simulation with a standardized patient, role play with standardized family, experiential learning, cooperative learning, simulation with virtual reality, peer review method, video recording and standardized patient feedback, and specific feedback used to improved communication skills in the health professional students.Conclusion: These methods can improve the communication skills of health professional students, which is the key to supporting patient safety, and there are many challenges and facilities during communication learning proses.

PENGEMBANGAN ELEKTRONIK MODUL (E-MODUL) AKUNTANSI DASAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA (Studi Pengembangan e-modul) Akuntansi Dasar Pada Kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Lahat)

This research aims:1)Development of e-accounting modules that can facilitate the learning prosess, 2)Describe the feasibility of developing an e-module of accounting on the basis of exspert tests and tests tobe used in learning prosess, 3)Describe how electronics module can improve student achievement. This research main goal is to develop electronic modules or modules that can help students in learning because they can use a laptop and also smarphone (HP). The module development prosess uses sigil application for manufacturing processand to read it using EPUB reader using Azardi for laptop and easily for smartphone (HP). This development is expected to guide students with digital learning patterns 4.0. Becauuse the materialand evaluasion can be adjustes to the learning abitlities of each student. This e-module is expected to be able to: 1) Help students learn by themselves without the presence of teacher, 2) Help teacher have digital learning suggestions in the form of electronic module (e-module), 3) One of the references for learning accouting digitally. This development researh used ADDIE methid (Analyze, Design, Development, Implematation and Evaluation). After validation the e- module will try to the student in basic area and in the widht area. To see if test the e- module. The result the e-module can be used in learning proses.

THE USE OF CARTOON VIDEO IN TEACHING STUDENTS VOCABULARY

<p>This paper aims to discuss vocabulary and cartoon video, and how to teach vocabulary by using cartoon video. Cartoons are designed not only to entertain children, but cartoons can be also used to teach and educate children. In order to find the relationship between cartoon and education, the writer writes a paper which the title is “The Use of Cartoon in Teaching Students Vocabulary”. It has a purpose to help children in learning English, more specifically it aims to improve English vocabulary for children whose age are between seven years old to fourteen years old.The method of the research is quantitative research in design experiment class and control class.The Reseacher could take conclusion that there was a significant between experiment class and control class, The mean of experiment class is greater than the mean of control class ( 77,25> 57,75). on the other hand, the test of hypothesis using t-test formula shows the value of t-test is greater than the value of the t-table. The value of t-test is 3,712 while the value of t-table on t-table in degree of freedom of 38 with level of significant of 0.01 is 2,42. The hypothesis is accepted.Based on the result of this study, it is accepted to be a good information for many teachers espesially English teachers. It is one solution to be used as appropiate method in teaching learning proses. It could be an alternative that could be used in teaching.</p>

Writing Descriptive Mapping on students D3 Bahasa Inggris Programs

ABSTRACT
 This study concerns with the improve students’ creativity ability in writing descriptive paragraph through mind mapping technique. The objective of this study is to discover whether the use of mind mapping could significantly improve students’ creativity ability in writing descriptive paragraph. With support from the theory by Buzan. This study was conducted by applying Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles in 4 meetings. The subject of this study was the Administration Public course in 2ed semester of Students Universitas Merdeka Malang which consisted of 20 students. The data will take in quantitative and qualitative data. Where quantitative data collected by giving descriptive writing tests that related to topic in TA( (tugas akhir) and calculating the mean of students’ scores. The quantities data were collected by the students’ score in (80. 55) which was higher than the first cycle (74.95) and orientation test (69.65). The qualitative data were collected observation and questionnaire sheets. The analyzed qualitative data gathered from the observation and questionnaire sheet during cycle I and II. It was found that students also made improvement students creativity in writing descriptive paragraph by using mapping on their TA (tugas akhir) while guidance and teaching learning proses . Despite all students got problems at 1st meeting, they could handle their difficulties and more enjoy their lesson. By the process they become active and creative in writing descriptive paragraph and qualitative data showed students strongly agreed by mind mapping had solve students problem in writing TA (tugas akhir) that related to writing descriptive paragraph. The result of the research showed that mind mapping significantly improved students’ ability in writing TA (tugas akhir) that related to descriptive paragraph text.
 

Perception and understanding of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers on numerical literacy in mathematics learning

Numerical literacy is an ability that equips students with the ability to apply the concept of numbers, calculated operation skills and the ability to interpret quantitative information However, those skills have not received much attention. Understanding of numerical literacy needs to be built, starting with teachers as leader of learning proses in schools. Therefore, this research aims to explore the perception and understanding of teachers on numerical literacy on mathematics learning. It can be used asthe basis for the development of relevant, applicative and comprehensive learning models. This research is an observational research conducted on 33 mathematics teachers in Central Java. The data was obtained during July-August through an online interview. The data was analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results founded 24 people or 72.73% had never received literacy training, and only 5 respondents had literacy. In addition, only 48.49% of total respondents understood numeration literacy and only 21.21% of total respondents applied it in math learning. Interesting facts have been found when all teachers have used learning media from concrete examples in environments such as interpreting integers using thermometers; measuring flagpoles with Pythagoras; and classrooms and tubes to calculate surface area and volume. But respondents assumed that what they were doing was not part of numeration literacy.

The abstract reveal the problem of acculturation by international students. There are four main types of acculturation strategies: assimilation, separation, marginalization and integration. We agree that the most successful is integration. It is well known, that the language and speech belong to the important part of the acculturation proses. The language skills can help or slack the acculturation of the international students to the new environment. That means that the langue skills make the adaptation easier and more comfortable and provide successful learning proses. On the other hand the acculturation can take much more time and affect their mental health. It is important for the universities to work out some acculturation programs in order to help and support their international students.

Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Collaborative Creativity Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Siswa Pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan

The 2013 curriculum applies a scientific approach in the learning proses, therefore students are expected to have higher order thinking skills, one of which is creative thinking. Students' creative thinking skills can be trained by implementing student-centered learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze the using of collaborative creativity learning model on students' creative thinking abilities on the topic of environmental pollution. The method used in this study was a quasi-experiment with a pre-experimental research type and one group pretest-posttest research design. The subjects in this study was class X science 8 Senior High School in Bandung. Creative thinking abilities measured in this study include four aspects: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Data of students' creative thinking skills were obtained from the pretest and posttest scores. Based on the results of data processing, the creative thinking ability of students has increased after using collaborative creativity learning model with a gain index value of 0.31 in the medium category. This shows that the use of collaborative creativity learning model can improve students' creative thinking ability on the topic of environmental pollution. The benefit of this research is that the Collaborative creativity learning model can be used as a reference for learning in class.

THE USE OF VIDEO AS MEDIA IN TEACHING WRITING DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

Writing is one of the skills which must be mustered in learning English. However, many students het difficulties in learning writing. The objectives of the research entitled “ The used of video as media in teaching writing descriptive text” were to found out: 1) the implementation of the scenario in teaching English writing descriptive texts in seventh grade using video as media. 2) Students responses in learning descriptive text using video as media. In conducting this research, it was used a descriptive qualitative research design to describe the result of the research. The subject of the research was grade VII of junior high school in Padalarang, consit 20 students. The results of this study indicated that the implementation in teaching is done according to the scenario which was prepared by the researchers. The responses of the students based on the questionnaires showed that teaching learning proses using video was effective. Students had high enthusiasm, they did not feel monotonous, and they were motivated. From the result of assessment, most of the students had difficulties in writing English because they had poor grammar, lack of vocabulary, and poor understanding of mechanics in writing. In addition, the students had less experience because they were not accustomed to using English in writing. After learning using video as media, the student could overcome their difficulties eventhough there was few students that not understand grammar use, vocabulary, and mechanics in the final project. PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH DENGAN STRATEGI THINK TALK WRITE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS DAN SELF EFFICACY SISWA

The purpose of this research is to find: 1). Student's achievement in mathematics representation ability who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy; 2). Student's achievement in self-efficacy who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy; 3). Whether a student's achievement in mathematics representation ability who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process; 4). Whether a student self-efficacy who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process.The population of this research is a whole of the 8thgrade students from Junior High Schools from Purbalingga. The sampling process is determined by a cluster random sampling technique so that the research can obtain the experiment class in which learning proses are using the TTW strategy with 71,81 rate, meanwhile, students who are following direct learning are around 62,94. Based on the student self-efficacy questionnaire who followed learning process with the TTW strategy are 74,37 rate, meanwhile students who are following direct learning are around 66,37. The data analysis using independent sample T-Test to test one right side. The result of the research shows that student's achievement in mathematics representation ability who followed the learning process using the TTW strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process. Student self-efficacy who followed the learning process using the TTW strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process.

Learning of Imla’ Using Flashcards on Writing Skill at Islamic Elementary School Level in Samarinda

There are some language skills, one of them is writing which has the steps of learning a foreign language. Writing skill has the most difficult skill. The use of instructional media has functions to facilitate teaching and learning activities, especially in Arabic learning of Imla’ material. The flashcard is used as a medium to facilitate teaching and learning activities of Imla’ for non-Arabic students. This research aimed to describe learning of Imla’ on Arabic writing skill and describe learning implementation of Imla’ on Arabic through flashcard at the level of elementary school at Elementary School level in Samarinda. The researcher used research design of qualitative descriptive by using the research instruments of observation, interview, and documentation. The research result obtained through the data sources from the principal, vice principal of curriculum, Arabic teachers and students. To analyze the data, the researcher used Miles and Huberman’s theory through three steps of data reduction, data display, and verification. The research results were that Arabic learning based on the writing skill on the elementary level included in category of Imla’ manqul which is aimed for students to be able to recognize, know, and rewrite letters of Hijaiyah by the rules of writing and letters written separated or connected with other letters. The students were also able to recognize the meaning of what they wrote through flashcard. The use of flashcard was helpful in the Arabic teaching process, because the students were easier in understanding the meaning of each vocabulary they wrote. The students did not feel saturated in teaching and learning proses, because flashcard can be used by the students as a form of game which they usually play such as picture card. Therefore, the Arabic writing skill on the elementary level will be easier to be learnt by the students.
