EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN PETA KONSEP TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 2 PONRE KECAMATAN PONRE KABUPATEN BONE.

Abstrack. This research is an experimental study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Concept Map Method on the Biology Learning Outcomes of Class VII Students at MTs Bulu-Bulu, Tonra District, Bone Regency. The research design was Posttest–Only Control Design. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of MTs Bulu-Bulu, Tonra District, Bone Regency and the sample consisted of two classes, namely class VII A as the control class and class VIIB as the experimental class. Data collection techniques are tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the Effectiveness of the Use of the Concept Map Method on the Learning Outcomes of Class VII Students at MTs Bulu-Bulu, Tonra District, Bone Regency, it can be concluded that the average result of the Biology learning outcomes of students in the experimental class is 82.75 while in the control class is 82.75. 74.76. The results of hypothesis testing by t-test, in the calculation of t-test known 3.00 and ttable 2.023 with db of 39, obtained from 21+20 – 2, at a significant level of 0.05 (5 %), so that t count > t table= 3.00 2.023, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis (H 0 ) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H 1 ) is accepted

Efektivitas Pembelajaran Daring Melalui Whatsapp terhadap Minat dan Hasil Belajar Biologi

This study aims to determine the effect of online learning through WhatsApp on students' interest and learning outcomes in Biology at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City. The method used in this research is a pre-experiment with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. The research sample was students of class XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City, totaling 29 students. The results showed an effect before and after being given treatment using online learning via WhatsApp on the interests and learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bengkulu City. In conclusion, WhatsApp is effectively used as a medium in the online Biology teaching and learning process.

UTILIZATION OF TISSUE CULTURE VIDEOS TO IMPROVE STUDENT BIOLOGY LEARNING OUTCOMES

This study aims to improve student biology learning outcomes on tissue culture by using learning videos in Class XI IPA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis T.P 2018/2019. This research consists of the cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA-2, totaling 32 students. The data collection tool used is a learning outcome test. Based on the pre-test conducted on 32 students, there were 16 (50%) students who got low learning outcomes (unfinished) and as many as 16 students (50%) who were included in the complete category. Then, eight students (25%) were in the incomplete category and 24 students (75%) during the first cycle. Furthermore, during the second cycle, the students who got low learning outcomes were two students (17%), and those included in the complete category were 30 students (93%). There has been a significant increase. Thus it can be concluded that using tissue culture videos can improve student biology learning outcomes in class XI IPA-2 SMA Negeri 1 Batang Kuis T.P 2018/2019

Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Pendekatan Saintifik terhadap Minat dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Materi Virus Kelas X MIPA 2 SMAN 15 Bone

ABSTRACTThis study is a pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttestdesign research design that aims to determine the effectiveness of learning NHT model with a scientific apporoach to student’s biology learning interest and outcomes. The sample of this study was selected randomly and selected in class X MIPA 2 as the experimental group. Data collection techniques through the provision of multiple choice test a description test before (pretest) and after (posttest) learning and giving learning interest questionnaires before (pretest) and after (posttest). Data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with t-test. The results showed that (1) The effectiveness of the cooperative learning NHT model with a scientific apporoach to student biology learning interest, which is effective. (2) The effectiveness of the cooperative learning model NHT with a scientific apporoach to student biology learning outcomes which is effective. (3) Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model with a scientific apporoach an effective be applied with the efectiveness criteria of learning implementation fulfilled, the activities of students are ini a very good category, the response of positive students as well as interest and biology learning outcomes of students increases.

The impact of STEM-based independent learning unit on students’ mastery of the respiratory system topic

One of the efforts to overcome distance learning problems due to the lack of facilities owned by Bali Mandara Senior High School students is by implementing Independent Learning Unit (ILU). However, the ILU that has been developed so far has not been successfully applied in the biology class as evidenced by the average value of students’ understanding being four points below the passing grade. The application of STEM-based ILU is the solution in improving the students’ biology learning outcomes. In conducting the research, post-test data on biology learning outcomes on the respiratory system topic and the students’ responses toward a questionnaire administered were taken from the control group and the treatment group. The average post test score was compared with the passing grade. The results showed that the percentage of the learning mastery of the experimental group using STEM-based ILU was 81% while that of the control group was 59%. It is very likely that the result occured because STEM-based ILU provided a learning stimulus to foster the students’ independence and active involvement in competency mastery. For this reason, STEM-based ILU needs to be developed in distance learning for the other topics.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF GALLERY WALK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 22 JAKARTA

The application of a learning method will greatly affect the ability of students to understand a topic. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Biology of students by implementing cooperative learning model Gallery walk. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 22 Jakarta in March to June 2019 using the action research method. Data collection is done through the provision of written tests to determine learning outcomes in studying ecosystems and environmental change. The data obtained were then analyzed by calculating the average value of the pretest and the average value of daily tests in cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that learning by applying Gallery walk cooperative learning can improve student Biology learning outcomes. Based on these results it can be concluded that Gallery walk cooperative learning can be used as an effort to improve Biology learning outcomes. The percentage of completeness of pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II respectively, namely 8.33%, 47.22%, and 88.89%. The learning outcomes of pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II respectively are 57, 68, and 76.

TPACK: Analysis of Biology Learning Outcomes at Senior High School Level`s in the Bandar Lampung City During Online Learning

The purpose of this study was to analyze students' biology learning outcomes towards the achievement of basic competencies in biology materials at senior high school and to evaluate the implementation of online biology learning for teachers and students in order to achieve the expected competencies. The research design used an ex post facto design, with the population being all state senior high school students in the city of Bandar Lampung in a different distribution of sub-district locations represented based on the equivalent level of school accreditation. Samples were taken from a population consisting of: SMA N 2 Bandar Lampung, SMA N 5 Bandar Lampung, and SMA N 7 Bandar Lampung. The acquisition of quantitative data in the form of learning outcomes values on the subject matter of plantae, qualitative data in the form of analysis of the results of a questionnaire intended for teachers and students. Interviews were conducted to obtain secondary data in the form of descriptive data carried out by teleconference. The result showed that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes in online classes compared to face-to-face classes (p 0.05). The dominant online learning application used is using google classroom which is already based on the Learning Management System (LMS). As many as 74.1% of students stated that online learning limits interaction and communication with friends and teachers regarding subject matter. Therefore, the results of this study prove that the biology learning outcomes of students carried out online based on LMS have a significant effect, but the interaction, collaboration and communication between students during the learning process become an obstacle.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MAKE A MATCH DIPADU MEDIA LKS SCRAMBLE DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI

This classroom action research aims to improve biology learning outcomes for students of the Department of Biology Education, Muslim Maros University. The study's action hypothesis was that combining a make-a-match learning model with scrambled worksheets media would increase biology learning outcomes. The objects involved in this study were 18 students. Data collection techniques in this study used the following instruments: (1) learning outcomes test sheets in each cycle and (2) activity observation sheets. The data analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis for learning outcomes test data and qualitative analysis for student activity observation data. The results of the quantitative descriptive analysis showed that the Biology learning outcomes of students of the Biology Education Department, Muslim Maros University had an average score in the first cycle of 74.66, and the in the second cycle increased by 85.38. Qualitatively there was an improvement in student activity in the Biology learning process seen from several aspects that met in the high category. It seems like there is an increase through the application of the make a match type learning model combined with the Scramble LKS media.

The relationship between science process skills and biology learning outcome

The study aims to know the relationship between science process skills (SPS) and biology learning outcomes (LO) through inquiry-based learning in the class XI MIA Senior High School of State 01 Manokwari. The correlational method was employed in this research. The population in the study was students of class XI MIA High School at Manokwari. The samples in the study were class XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 4, with a total of 47 students. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used tests and documentation. The hypothesis test used regression and correlation tests. The results showed a contribution of SPS to the biology LO through inquiry-based learning in the class XI MIA High School of Manokwari. The relationship of LO to biology student LO was 31%. The correlation coefficient is 0.557, indicating that the SPS level to the biology student LO was medium.

The Effect of Mind Mapping Model on The Students of Biology Learning Outcomes of SMAN 12 Maros

This research is an experimental study that aims to determine the differences in the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMA Negeri 12 Maros who are taught using the Mind Mapping learning model and the conventional model on the Excretion System Principal Material. The sample in this study were students of class XI MIA 1 and class XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 12 Maros. The experimental class was taught using a mind mapping model , while the control class was taught using a conventional model. Based on the results of data analysis obtained a sig value of 0.001 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an influence on student learning outcomes using the mind mapping learning model in class XI SMA Negeri 12 Maros.

Pengaruh Video Pembelajaran melalui Zenius.Net terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Biologi Siswa Madrasah Aliyah Kelas X dan XI

The use of media in the learning process can generate motivation and stimulus in learning activities, and even bring psychological effects on students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning videos through Zenius.Net on cognitive biology learning outcomes for students of Madrasah Aliyah class X and XI. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative, which was carried out with a pre-experimental research method using a one group pretest posttest research design. The research sample was students of MAS Al-Anshor Beber, Pengenjek Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency as many as 17 students. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique. Data were analyzed by normalized N-gain method and paired samples t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, the pretest value was 34.4, while the posttest value was 78.6. This shows an increase in student cognitive learning outcomes (gain) by 44.2. The n-gain value is 0.7 which indicates the medium category. These results indicate that the use of video media in Biology science learning has an influence on the ability of students' cognitive learning outcomes. Furthermore, the hypothesis test is obtained tcount = 24.61 > tcritical = 2.12, then Ha is accepted, namely learning videos through Zenius.Net can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.

PENGARUH PENERAPAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DENGAN TEKNIK MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI PESERTA DIDIK

This study aimed to determined the influence of problem based learning model with mind mapping techniques toward the biology learning outcomes. This study was a pre- experimental reasearch with one group pretest - posttest design. The sample of study consisted of one class is a class XI IPA9 SMAN 1 Sungguminasa as 50 students. Sample was take with a random sampling technique. The research instrument is learning outcome test in biological material (excretory system) with multiple choice shaped. Data were analyzed by employing inferential test (paired samples). The result of inferential analysis indicated that tcount 46.682>ttable 1.68, H0 was rejected, meaning that there was influence of problem based learning model by employing mind mapping technique toward students’ learning result.

A review on Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model to improve biology learning outcomes

This study aims to analyze student learning outcomes in the NHT model on respiratory system material. This research uses library data collection methods, reading and recording research materials (library research). Data collection used is through documentation study with data collection stages by editing and organizing. Data were analyzed using inductive and deductive techniques. The results of the study: 1) student learning outcomes showed an increase in student learning outcomes using the NHT model, 2) strategies in improving learning outcomes consisted of syntax, namely numbering, asking questions, thinking together and answering questions, 3) there were student learning outcomes before the model was applied. learning is low and after the application of the NHT model has increased, 4) the effectiveness of the NHT model is effective in improving student learning outcomes, 5) the use of the NHT model can provide opportunities for students to come up with ideas of knowledge in asking and arguing.

The Development of Illustrated Pocket Book as a Source of Independent Learning in Sensory System Material in XIth Grade of High School Natural Science Program

Learning resources are a component needed in teaching and learning activities. One example of a learning resources often used by teachers and students is books. This study aims to develop a pocket book with a sensory system as a source of independent learning and to determine the effectiveness of a sensory system illustrated pocket book on student learning outcomes in the XI th Grade High School Natural Science Program. This type of research is Research and Development using the 4D Thiagarajan model ( Define, Design, Development and Dissemination ). The effectiveness test used a quasi experimental method with the pretest post-test control group design. The data obtained were both quantitative and qualitative. The results of the validation by material experts scored 95.9 (very feasible), language experts scored 90.77 (very feasible), and layout design experts scored 83.48 (very feasible). The results of the response by the Biology teacher were 99.58 (very feasible), and the results of student responses on individual tests were 97.78, small group tests were 98, and limited field tests were 99.72 under very feasible category. The effectiveness of sensory system illustrated pocket book is seen based on the students' Biology learning outcomes, t-test and N-gain value. The results showed that the sensory system illustrated pocket book as an independent learning resource was very feasible to use in biology learning and was quite effective in improving student learning outcomes in the XI th Grade of High School Natural Science Program.

Improving Biology Learning Outcomes on Enzymes and its Functions Through Modification of Multiple Refresentation Learning Model in Class XII IPA SMAN 1 Danau Panggang

The Biology learning process in class XII IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Danau Panggang has so far been more dominant in applying conventional learning models which are characterized by 1) teacher-centered, 2) emphasis on receiving knowledge, 3) less variety, 4) less empowerment of all potential students, and 5) using a monotonous method, because the teacher is dominant as the center of learning resources as a result, there are still many students who are passive, most students do not dare to ask questions. Student activity in learning and discussion is still low, many students in the learning process seem to be passive. As a result, learning becomes boring and less passionate, so learning outcomes are low. The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of Biology on the subject of enzymes and their functions through Modification of the Multiple Representation Learning Model in class XII IPA SMAN 1 Danau Panggang. The research method used is comparative descriptive. Data were taken from 23 students with details of 8 men and 15 women. Then from the data, the percentage value of student learning completeness classically is sought using a predetermined formula using instruments in the form of observations of teacher activities, observations of student activities and student learning outcomes. The results of the final study showed that the average value obtained was 76.52 and the completeness of learning outcomes was 100%. Meanwhile, the activities of teachers and students also increased. Teacher activity increased from 59.72% to 79% with criteria from good to very good. Student activity also increased from 48% to 65% with good criteria

Penerapan Strategi Active Learning Tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa pada Materi Masalah Lingkungan

An interesting learning strategy that triggers students to be bold in expressing their ideas, namely the Active Learning Strategy. The research objectives were to determine (1) the application of the Active Learning strategy type Everyone is A Teacher Here, (2) the difference in biology learning outcomes between students who applied the “Everyone is A Teacher Here type of Active Learning strategy using animated videos and lectures, and (3) response students towards the implementation of the Active Learning strategy type Everyone is A Teacher Here. Data collection techniques used were tests, observations, and questionnaires. The research sample was students of class X-8 (experimental class) and class X-5 (control class) MAN Cirebon 1, using purposive sampling. Data analysis used T test. The results of the study were (1) student activity increased after implementing the Active Learning strategy type Everyone is A Teacher Here using animated video, was in the good category (30,54%), (2) there was a difference in the improvement of learning outcomes between students who apply the Active Learning strategy type Everyone is A Teacher Here using animated videos and lectures, (3) student responses to the Active Learning strategy type Everyone is A Teacher Here is in the strong category (75,90%).

Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Reading Guide dengan Media Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas VII SMP Tunas Bangsa Makassar

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research which aims to improve the learning outcomes of seventh grade students of SMP Tunas Bangsa Makassar through the use of the Reading Guide Learning Strategy with Student Worksheet Media (LKS). The subjects of this study were the seventh-grade students of SMP Tunas Bangsa Makassar which consisted of 26 students. Data collection techniques include learning activity data obtained through observation sheets and student biology learning outcomes data obtained using student biology learning outcomes tests which are then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of observations of student learning activities show that in general there has been an increase from cycle I to cycle II in each observed student learning activity. The results of quantitative descriptive statistical analysis of students' biology learning outcomes showed that the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 75,19 and in the second cycle was 79,23 so that the percentage increase in student biology learning outcomes is obtained by 4,04. Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Ispring Terhadap Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Bone Kabupaten Bone

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to know determine the effect of using Ispring media on biology learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 9 Bone at Bone regency. The type of research is quasy experiment using Posttest Only-Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Subject of this research consisted of 2 group namely control class (powerpoint media) of 28 student and experimental class (Ispring media) of 30 student. The variabel examine in this study were Ispring media and powerpoint media. Technique of data collection was form test and analysis using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The result showed that the average value of learning outcomes of biology using powerpoint media was 80,36 and the average value student using Ispring media was 84,17. Based on inferential analysis using the t test that the value Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,029 < 0,05, then H0 rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of using Ispring media on biology learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 9 Bone at Bone regency. Keywords: Ispring media, learning outcomes

PENGARUH COOPERATIF LEARNING BERBASIS VOICE NOTE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS XI MIPA DI SMA NEGERI 3 BANTAENG

This study aims to examine how much influence the learning of Cooperative Learning based on Voice Note (Vn) on the learning outcames of biology students of class XI MIPA in SMA Negeri 3 Bantaeng. This study used an experimental method to form Pre-Experimental Design type one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study are 33 students. The calculation result obtained t test 19,488 while ttabel with dk = 33-1 = 32 and a significant level (alpha) = 0.05 is 1.694, turns thitung ttable or greater equal than 19,488 greater equal than 1.694, which means a significant influence on the application of Voice Note (Vn) based Cooperative Learning. From the result of the calculation of the Post Test average value of 81.61 and included in the high category. This means that Cooperative Learning based on Voice Note (Vn) has a high influence on the learning outcomes of biology XI MIPA at SMA N 3 Bantaeng.

The use of distance learning through whatsapp and google meeting to identify differences in biology learning outcomes

The COVID-19 pandemic has turned face-to-face learning into distance learning using online media. Educational institutions strive to provide a system to meet students' needs in conducting distance learning using online media. Educational institutions also try to familiarize teachers and students with using online media in the learning process. Educators and students can utilize distance learning media in Whatsapp groups and google meetings to carry out the learning process. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in student biology learning outcomes between the experimental class I learning using WhatsApp group and the practical class II learning using google meetings. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control design. The study population was all class X MIPA (mathematics and science) Public Senior High School 02 Batu (There are five classes). The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The experimental class I was class X MIPA 4 with 28 students and the practical class II was class X MIPA 5 with 28 students. Descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis techniques using Ms. Excell and the Independent Sample T-Test (SPSS Statistics 17.0). This study indicates that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students between experimental class I (74.75) who carry out learning using WhatsApp group and experimental class II (64.75) who carry out learning using google meetings. In conclusion, learning using the WhatsApp group is better.
