Effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education Learning in Minority Regional Public Schools in Indonesia: Case Study in Tarutung District, North Sumatra

The research findings provide an explanation that the effectiveness of Islamic religious education learning in public primary schools in minority areas has an impact and influence on the development of (1) character and (2) student learning motivation. The effectiveness of Islamic religious education learning in public primary schools in minority areas is strongly influenced by the following factors: (1) learning, (2) practical activities, (3) reinforcement, (4) tolerance, (5) teacher quality, and (6) environment, and (7) learning facilities. In order for the objectives of Islamic religious education in schools in minority areas to be achieved, it must be done through increasing access and quality of Islamic religious education, especially in schools through (1) the availability of Islamic religious education services in schools, (2) the quality of Islamic religious education services in schools, and (3) the quality of students' understanding and practice of religious teachings. In addition, effectiveness can be achieved through effective programmes and learning and the results to be achieved. In principle, the aspects that need to be considered, namely the effectiveness of learning and teaching, the quality of learning service facilities.

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Pai Berbasis Mentimeter di MAN 01 Rejang Lebong

This journal aims to enable Islamic Religious Education learning to be more advanced and developed so that learning becomes more effective and efficient. All educational institutions must be proactive, creative and productive in reading the phenomena that occur today. Therefore, the role of Mentimeter learning media is very important here, creating a good design as a foundation for the advancement of information and communication technology, as well as adding Islamic religious education learning activities with materials and skills and practicing religion including learning activities and mastery. However, we must also be able to use a technical approach with learning methods using this Mentimeter-based media. Furthermore, the researcher will provide information regarding the type of research to be conducted, the planned time for implementing the research, and the class that will be the subject of the research. The results achieved are the process of developing Mentimeter-based Islamic Religious Education learning media, starting from the initial identification stage or implementation of preliminary research to the final revision stage.

Evaluasi Program Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Menggunakan Model Context, Input, Process and Product di SDN 430 Pandoso Kabupaten Luwu

This article discusses the evaluation of the Islamic Religious Education learning program at SDN 430 Pandoso, Luwu Regency using the Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The purpose of this study is for researchers to determine and assess the success of the learning program and its suitability for the Islamic learning curriculum at the school. This research discusses program evaluation based on the CIPP model proposed by Stufflebeam. In this study, context, input, process, and product are used as the four elements of evaluation. The study involved 32 fourth and fifth grade students and Islamic religious education teachers. Information for this study was collected through documentation, interviews, observation and questionnaires. Furthermore, qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis were used as methods to analyze the data in this study. The results of this study indicate that there are discrepancies between programs and learning plans, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, learning media, learning methods and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of research on the evaluation of the Islamic Religious Education learning program using the CIPP model obtained an average percentage of 81% with a very good category based on the results of the input evaluation of 78% with a good category, process evaluation of 85% with a very good category and product evaluation of 86% with a very good category. As a recommendation, this study suggests concrete solutions such as focused training for teachers, utilization of technology in learning, using active learning methods and providing additional learning to students so as to create effective and quality learning. The evaluation of the learning process also highlighted the need for guidance to teachers in making and operating learning media.

Learning Islamic Religious Education and Character By Using Audio Visual Media in Elementary Schools

Learning Islamic religious education and character using audio visual media at school base. This research aims to determine the implementation of learning using audio-visual media in grades 4 and 5. This research was conducted at SDN 6 Sokong, with students in grades 4 and 5 in semester 2. The method used in this research is field research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject of this research is the media audio visuals using LCD, teachers and students. In this research, data collection techniques use interview, observation and documentation techniques, and data analysis techniques in this research use data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the implementation of Islamic religious education and character learning uses audio media. visuals in grades 4 and 5 went well, because according to planning learning Which made, and make students enthusiastic, finally the teacher carries out a learning evaluation to find out the extent to which the goals have been achieved learning.

Living Qur'an Approach to Improve Critical Thinking Skills in Islamic Religious Education Learning

This study explores applying the Living Qur'an approach in Islamic education to develop critical thinking skills and a reflective and relevant understanding of Islamic teachings in students' lives. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to collect evidence of applying the Living Qur'an in Islamic education. Relevant literature was selected from the Garuda, Google Scholar, and Scopus databases. Articles that met the inclusion criteria were evaluated and analysed based on the themes of experiential learning and improving critical thinking skills. The findings were analysed to understand the impact of the Living Qur'an in developing Islamic learning. The results of the study show that the Living Qur'an approach bridges the gap between the text of the Qur'an and students' social lives, making it more relevant and applicable. This approach integrates Islamic teachings with social, cultural, and gender contexts, such as in the division of inheritance in South Kalimantan and Mandar culture. The Living Qur'an encourages critical and reflective thinking, inviting students to apply Islamic teachings daily. The innovation of digital interpretation allows learning to be more interactive and to the needs of the times. In addition, the Living Qur'an plays a role in shaping social ethics, improving the quality of community life, and strengthening students' character through applicable religious education. Implementing the Living Qur'an in Islamic Religious Education learning includes contextual, value-based, interactive, collaborative, and project-based approaches. Methods such as Discovery Learning, discussion, and Problem Based Learning are used to apply the values of the Qur'an. The limitations of this study lie in the focus on limited literature and the SLR methodology that does not include direct empirical data from students. Further research is recommended to involve field studies to test the practical application of the Living Qur'an in a broader educational context, including its influence on student learning outcomes.

Islamic Religious Education Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Lampung Province


 The Covid-19 pandemic has succeeded in changing the entire structure of world society. Many sectors have been affected by the ferocious spread of the Covid-19 virus; economic, tourism and even education sectors. The aim of this research is to describe Islamic Religious Education learning patterns in Lampung province which took place during the Covid-19 pandemic era. This type of research is qualitative. The research was conducted in Lampung Province targeting all educational institutions starting from primary, secondary and upper education levels. The data sources in this research were obtained from interviews; Interviews were conducted with teaching staff, education staff, students and students' parents. The research results illustrate that the Islamic Religious Education learning process in the Covid-19 pandemic era in Lampung Province encountered many obstacles. The use of online learning platforms such as Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom Meeting is not evenly distributed. To support the use of online learning applications, an internet quota is also required which then becomes an unexpected expense for all students' parents; and is considered a drain on your wallet. Use device for each student whose ownership is not evenly distributed due to diverse economic backgrounds. Uneven internet networks and limited teaching are also factors that policy makers need to pay attention to. Learning methods or strategies, especially Islamic Religious Education in Lampung Province, have been changed to use online learning platforms. The curriculum used in the pandemic era in Lampung Province uses an emergency curriculum.

The Influence of Cultural Factors in PAI Learning at Higher Education (Study at Al-Khairiyah University Cilegon)

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is one of the eye compulsory lectures​ followed by students at college. There are various cultural factors that can influence the PAI learning process, from both lecturers and students. Research This aiming For identify and analyze influence factor culture in Islamic Religious Education learning in college. The research method used is qualitative. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from colleges. Research results show that factor influential culture​ in Islamic Religious Education learning in college tall covering background religious, ethnic, social and educational background from lecturers and students ; values culture adopted by lecturers and students. As well as interactions between lecturers and students who are influenced by cultural norms. Factors culture the can give impact positive and also negative to Islamic Religious Education learning in college. In conclusion, cultural factors play a crucial role in Islamic Religious Education learning in college, influencing motivation, participation, understanding, and attitudes of both lecturers and students towards PAI.

Internalisasi nilai moderasi beragama berbasis kearifan lokal pada siswa SMAN 13 Bone melalui pembelajaran PAI-BP

This research aims to determine the internalization of the value of religious moderation based on local wisdom in UPT SMAN 13 Bone students through Islamic Religious Education and Character Learning. This research is qualitative research using a pedagogical approach and an Islamic Religious Education approach. Research data was obtained using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The research results found that the process of internalizing the value of religious moderation based on local wisdom in students was carried out through planning, implementation and evaluation in learning. Internalization through planning is included in the form of curriculum and lesson plans. The implementation is carried out through three stages, namely the transformation, transaction and value transinternalization stages. Meanwhile, the evaluation part is carried out through written tests and observations. The internalized values ​​are the value of tasamuh which is colored with Sipakatau, i'tidal colored with Sipakalebbi, and tahadhdhur colored with sipakatau, sipakalebbi, and sipakainge'.

Implementation of Prediction Guide Method in Islamic Religious Education Learning

The Prediction Guide Method is a learning model designed to actively engage students from the beginning to the end of the learning process. By using this method, students are expected to be involved from the start of the session, maintain focus, and keep their attention while the teacher delivers the material. The steps in implementing this method begin with the formation of study groups by the teacher in the classroom. Through these groups, students can discuss and share their understanding of the material being taught. However, by implementing the Prediction Guide Method, the teaching and learning process becomes more engaging and encourages active participation from all students. This method has a particularly significant impact on student engagement in Islamic Education. As a result, the implementation of this method not only makes students more active but also improves their comprehension and learning outcomes. Students can more easily remember and understand the material because they are directly involved in the learning process. Through this method, teachers can also better assess students’ engagement and understanding, thereby enhancing the overall quality of learning.

Implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Higher Education Institutions to Enhance Students' Moderate Attitudes

This study is motivated by the issue of low levels of moderate attitudes among university students. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Model in religious education at higher education institutions to enhance students' moderate attitudes. The research employs a Mixed Methods Research approach with a sequential explanatory design. The sample consists of 70 management students at Universitas Islam Nusantara. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Quantitative data analysis employs simple regression analysis, while qualitative data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PBL model in religious education significantly influences the enhancement of students' moderate attitudes. This is evidenced by a significance value of 0.001, which is less than the probability value of 0.05, and a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.234. This indicates that the contribution of the independent variable (PBL model in religious education) to the dependent variable (students' moderate attitudes) is 23.40%.

Pengaruh Pembelajaran PAK Menggunakan PAIKEM Terhadap Minat Belajar Peserta didik di SMA Taruna Mandiri Pamulang

Students lack interest in learning and tend to be monotonous because they do not clearly understand the teacher's teaching methods. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the PAIKEM method to increase students' interest in learning with a more creative and in-depth approach. This research uses descriptive methods combined with quantitative methods. The purpose is to measure the importance of the contribution of Christian religious education learning with PAIKEM method to students' learning enjoyment at SMA Taruna Mandiri Pamulang. The results showed that the effect of PAK learning with PAIKEM method simultaneously contributed 56.0% to students' learning interest, while the remaining 44.0% was influenced by other variables that were not in this study.

Pemanfaatan Media Digital dalam Menarik Minat Siswa di SD/MI Terhadap Pembelajaran PAI

This study aims to examine the utilization of digital media in attracting the interest of elementary and Islamic elementary school (SD/MI) students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. The primary focus of this research is to identify effective types of digital media, their application methods, and the impact of their use on students' interest and understanding. The study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method, using research data sourced from articles indexed in Google Scholar and Sinta. The findings reveal that various forms of digital media, such as audiovisual media, e-learning platforms (WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Zoom), storytelling, animations, YouTube, and the Shofun application, have been implemented in PAI learning. The utilization of these media can enhance students' motivation, creativity, and understanding of PAI materials. However, several obstacles are identified, such as teachers' limited understanding of technology and infrastructure constraints. The positive impacts of using digital media include facilitating material delivery, increasing student interaction, and overcoming spatial and temporal limitations. This study provides recommendations for educational practitioners to optimize the use of digital media to support more effective and engaging PAI learning for students

Implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka Through the P5 Program in Islamic Religious Education Learning at SMP Tahfidz Assyifa Al Islami Parung

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation, challenges, and solutions in applying the Kurikulum Merdeka through the P5 program in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. The research was conducted at SMP Tahfidz Assyifa Al Islami Parung using a qualitative approach and field research methodology. Data collection techniques included interviews, documentation, and observation, with data validity tested through triangulation of methods and sources. Data analysis involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka through the P5 program in PAI learning began in the fourth week of July in the 2024 academic year, focusing on entrepreneurship for seventh-grade students and democracy for eighth-grade students. However, challenges were identified, including limited teacher understanding and training regarding the P5 program, insufficient supervision from project coordinators, and inadequate module support, as the materials were primarily downloaded from the internet.

Implementasi Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Ekstrakurikuler Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Swasta Kencana Sastra Percut Sei Tuan

This study aims to analyze the implementation of strengthening character education through extracurricular activities of reading and writing the Qur'an (BTQ) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at school. Strengthening character education is the main focus in an effort to form students who have religious values, discipline, and the value of reading. BTQ activities are chosen as one of the effective methods to instill these values systematically and sustainably. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study consisted of principals, BTQ extracurricular teachers, deputy curriculum, and students. The results showed that BTQ extracurricular activities are effective in strengthening student character. Through learning to read and write the Qur'an, students not only develop religious skills but also experience strong character building, such as religious values, discipline, and love of reading. This implementation is supported by the active role of PAI teachers and the support of the school environment, but also faces several obstacles, such as time constraints and lack of student motivation. This study suggests an increase in parental involvement in supporting BTQ activities at home as well as additional time and adequate facilities to support the smooth running of these activities. Thus, it is expected that strengthening character education through BTQ can run more optimally and have a greater positive impact on students' character development.

Strategi Pembelajaran PAI Berbasis Karakteristik Peserta Didik di Era Digital

This study analyzes the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning based on student characteristics as a response to the increasingly complex challenges of the digital era. Using a literature study approach, this research integrates technology such as interactive applications, online multimedia, and collaborative platforms specifically designed to support student-centered learning. These strategies not only strengthen the understanding of moral and religious values but also enhance student engagement, foster independent learning, and help manage the impact of negative digital content. The findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between teachers, students, and technology to create PAI learning that is relevant, innovative, and aligned with the needs of the younger generation. This study also provides significant contributions to the development of an adaptive curriculum capable of addressing the challenges of learning in the digital era.

Application of Ahklakul Karimah to Grade 3 Students at Uptd Sdn 013828 Manis in Islamic Religious Subjects

This study discusses the process of learning Islamic religious education at UPTD SDN 013828 Manis, its implementation, and the obstacles faced by teachers in instilling moral values to students at the school. The main objective of this study is to explain how Islamic religious education learning is implemented at UPTD SDN 013828 Manis. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a focus on the implementation of Islamic religious education at the school. The author only wants to collect data related to efforts to instill morals in students at UPTD SDN 013828 Manis. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that students have good skills, knowledge, and morals. The process of learning Islamic Religious Education is carried out through various methods, such as meetings, discussions, games, and exemplary stories. The results of the implementation of Islamic religious education at UPTD SDN 013828 Manis are part of an effort to improve students' morals, which can be seen in their daily lives at school, such as: (1) trustworthiness, (2) good behavior, (3) responsibility, (4) discipline, (5) loyalty, and piety, both in learning activities and in carrying out worship. Factors that hinder the instillation of morals in students at this school include internal factors, namely the students themselves and school facilities, as well as external factors, such as the relationship between parents and students, the social environment of the community, and the influence of peers.

Analisis Integrasi Nilai Kearifan Lokal dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

Integration of local wisdom values in Islamic Religious Education learning is a systematic effort to combine local wisdom values with the principles of Islamic teachings. This study aims to analyze efforts or methods used in integrating local wisdom in Islamic Religious Education learning. The method in this study uses library research involving the collection, analysis, and synthesis of data from various sources that have been obtained. The sources used are written sources such as scientific journals and relevant scientific articles. The results of the study revealed that the integration of local wisdom values in Islamic Religious Education learning is carried out through through curriculum development, addition of teaching materials, and attention to the learning methods applied. The success of this integration is highly dependent on the collaborative role between teachers, students, local communities, and cultural experts in creating meaningful learning experiences.
