The background to this research and development is that researchers found students' difficulties and lack of interest in learning Arabic vocabulary. Apart from that, there is a lack of other media that supports learning Arabic vocabulary, while the facilities at SDN Kertorejo 2 are quite adequate. So students need interesting media, in this case in the form of image media. The creation and development of this learning media was carried out to overcome the problems faced by students at SDN Kertorejo 2. The researcher chose a design from the Canva application and then designed it attractively so that it could be accepted and liked by students so as to increase their interest in learning Arabic, especially vocabulary to improve speaking skills. Arabic. Researchers use research methods with a research and development approach. Previous researchers conducted observations and interviews with students at SDN Kertorejo 2. After obtaining the necessary data, the researchers created learning media in accordance with the students' expectations and needs and still referred to the applicable curriculum. Then the researchers applied learning media to students at SDN Kertorejo 2 who, although they still experienced several problems and obstacles, these problems could still be overcome with other facilities and equipment available at the school. In the application of image media carried out on second grade students in elementary schools, it can be concluded that the use of image media in learning Arabic vocabulary in the book "Ro'sun Sirah" to develop speaking skills is very satisfying and helps facilitate students' memorization and pronunciation of Arabic vocabulary appropriately. with basic competencies in the learning curriculum.

Optimization Of The Development Of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Tools In Supporting Independent Learning For Teachers Of Central Java MGMP Economics

Implementing an independent curriculum will be able to realize the rights and abilities of participants to determine their learning process through setting learning goals, reflecting on abilities, and taking steps proactively and responsibly for their own success. The problems in the free learning curriculum are teachers who use learning techniques that are not appropriate to the conditions or circumstances, lack of use of learning media, and monotonous teaching. The reality in the Economic MGMP of Central Java Province is that the development of social emotional learning (SEL) learning tools based on the independent learning curriculum and its development is still very diverse regarding tools that have not been developed based on the independent learning curriculum. The aim of this service is to increase teachers' understanding and skills in designing learning tools in the form of lesson plans, materials and evaluation instruments. The methods used in service include outreach activities, training, mentoring and evaluation of service programs. The results of the service are a) increasing understanding of the concept of social emotional learning for Central Java Economics MGMP teachers; b) able to implement social emotional learning in learning tools to support the independent learning curriculum.

Cultivating Moral Values and Diversity for Early Childhood: A Contextual Approach of Multicultural Education

Cultivating the foundations of moral values and diversity in children is important from an early developmental stage. This article aims to explain how teachers introduce aspects of multicultural education to children. This research uses a qualitative research design in the form of a case study with seven teachers as respondents. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques and then analyzed using thematic analysis consisting of three steps recommended by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The results showed that in introducing diversity, teachers provide role models for children, integrate material about cultural diversity into the learning curriculum, use interesting learning methods and media, invite children to visit historical sites and places of worship, hold activities and celebrate holidays related to cultural diversity, and hold extracurricular activities to introduce cultural diversity. It is expected that this article will have significant implications for educational practice, for ongoing professional development to equip teachers with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively teach and model diversity and inclusion, and for educational institutions to prioritize the development and implementation of curricula that reflect and celebrate cultural diversity.

Differentiated Learning: Teachers' Understanding of Sekolah Penggerak Program at Deli Serdang District North Sumatera

This research aims to describe the level of understanding of secondary school teachers in the Deli Serdang area regarding differentiated learning in the Independent Curriculum that applies in Indonesia. This research is quantitative survey research. Population: The subjects of this research were high school teachers in Deli Serdang Regency, totalling 366 people, with a sample of 216 people selected by random sampling. Data was collected through a survey using a closed questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the Mann-Whitney test to see differences in teachers' understanding of differentiated learning in public and private schools participating in the Driving School Program. The research results show that the level of teacher understanding of differentiated learning in private schools is moderate, and the level of understanding of teachers in state schools is in the high category. Based on the Driving School Program, which does not differentiate between the status of public and private schools in funding and program assistance, differences in understanding occur due to several internal and external factors found in schools, such as principal leadership, teacher competency, and different teacher statuses in the two types of schools. In conclusion, the Mobilizing School Program provides the same treatment in public and private schools and has the same programs and assistance. However, teachers' understanding of learning varies, which certainly impacts the learning process and learning outcomes.

MULTI-THEORETICAL EXPLICATION OF EXPERIMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY: THE CONTEXT OF 21ST CENTURY LITERARY TEXTS

This study is a multi-theoretical explication of selected 21st-century literary texts with a focus on determining how literary pieces with experimental typography can be analyzed which places emphasis on a literary primer that can be produced from the textual analysis, interpretation, and explication of the texts analyzed. This research study examines the significance of experimental typography in selected literary texts, specifically focusing on Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me Novel, Austin Kleon’s Newspaper Blackout, and shape poetry. The findings revealed that authors employ various types of experimental typography to convey additional layers of meaning in their works. The analysis of Tahereh Mafi's novel "Shatter Me" identifies the use of strikethrough, the management of space, and the unconventional use of mechanics as experimental typography techniques. In blackout poetry, the interaction between visual and textual elements through the use of semiotics plays a vital role in conveying the intended message. Shape poetry, on the other hand, integrates language, design, and visual representation to create a cohesive composition, offering a unique and visually engaging reading experience. Based on the findings, it is concluded that writers utilize multiple modalities manifested in experimental typography, embedding symbolism in literature. Readers must recognize these modalities and analyze their impact on literary elements to develop accurate interpretations. The study recommends further exploration of 21st-century literary analysis, emphasizing works incorporating experimental typography and innovative forms of literary expression. It suggests making a primer on experimental typography available to literature students to enhance their understanding of typography's expressive potential. Additionally, the study proposes exploring other modalities employed by modern writers and testing the primer's usability in schools to optimize its impact on students' learning experiences and curriculum enhancement. This research contributes to the understanding and appreciation of experimental typography in contemporary literature.

This study aims to analyze the impact of curriculum changes on teaching methods at SDN Pengembangan 9. Although curriculum changes are expected to improve the quality of education, their implementation often poses challenges for teachers and students. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers, and document analysis related to the curriculum and student learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the curriculum change has a significant impact on teaching methods in the classroom. Teachers at SDN Pengembangan 9 faced difficulties in adjusting their teaching methods to meet the demands of the new curriculum, including understanding updated materials and teaching strategies. Some teachers required additional training to effectively implement the curriculum. Furthermore, students also experienced challenges in adapting to these changes, which affected their motivation and learning performance. These findings emphasize that the successful implementation of the new curriculum requires comprehensive support for teachers, including training, guidance, and adequate resources. In conclusion, curriculum changes have the potential to improve the quality of education, but they require effective support strategies to ensure their positive impact can be optimally realized in the primary school environment..

Learning Strategies Of Sunday School Teachers In Installing The Character Of Discipline

Sunday School means traditional church To train children in Biblical truth. However, Sunday Schools, and more broadly, children's ministry programs, are undergoing a change in identity. The aim of this research is to describe Sunday school teachers' strategies in instilling disciplined character in GBI Bassura Sunday School children. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach, which means through a study of various references. The research results show that Sunday School teachers should develop learning strategies that contain a disciplinary character. Possible strategies include: 1) Developing a learning curriculum based on discipline education, 2) Conducting regular meetings between parents and Sunday School children, 3) Determining punishments and rewards, 4) Carrying out group coaching, 5) Implementing habituation methods. In conclusion, by consistently implementing effective strategies, the Sunday Teachers' School will give birth to a generation of Christians who have disciplined character in accordance with Christian values.

This study aims to find out how to implement the independent learning curriculum in an Islamic perspective. This research is Library Research (library), aims to collect data and information from books, magazines, documents, records, and historical stories and other stories, the data collection technique used is the documentation technique. The analysis in this study uses content analysis or content analysis. Content analysis will produce a conclusion regarding the language style of the book, ideas in the contents of the book and grammar. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in an Islamic perspective, provides guidance to students for independent learning, and has high creativity, by increasing solidarity, as well as establishing hospitality and in the implementation of independent learning, there is an ethos of fastabiqul khairat (competition in virtue) that must be cultivated.

The majority of students feel confident in their ability to use digital technology and English in professional contexts. The industry also recognizes students' readiness to enter the world of work with relevant skills. Pelatihan Penyusunan Soal Kurikulum Merdeka Untuk Meningkatkan Kompetensi Guru

The independent learning curriculum offers a learning concept, namely freedom to think, freedom to innovate, freedom to learn independently and creatively. This community service activity aims to improve the ability of HSPG Bekasi teachers regarding preparing independent curriculum questions. Implementation of community service is carried out through several stages such as assessment, planning and development, implementation (socialization), and evaluation. The number of participants was around 20 HSPG Bekasi teachers. Based on these results, information was obtained that this activity was very relevant to the participants' needs. This activity increases knowledge and skills regarding preparing independent curriculum questions. If it is made in the form of a percentage increase from the initial ability of 50%, after training the understanding becomes more than 85%.

Development and Implementation of The Bilingual "Ulos Weaving" Textbook in The Fine Arts Studies Program as Implementation of An Outcomes-Based Curriculum

The aim of research is to develop and apply teaching materials for the Ulos Weaving course in two languages. This is considered important and urgent to address curriculum implementation as per the requirements for ASIIN, ABET and AUN QA accreditation or certification. The problem studied is the validity, effectiveness and practicality of the product being developed. This applied research uses the ADDIE development model developed by Dick and Carry with five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The objects of product testing were students from the fifth semester fine arts education study program in 1 class (21 people) from 4 classes and 6 lecturers. This research creates innovation and development of teaching materials that are oriented towards textbook products which have an impact on improving the quality of graduates. After the product was validated by 4 experts, material validity was found to be 88% in the very effective category, validation of the layout or appearance of the book was 90%, and validation in Indonesian was 89% and English was 85% in the good category. The results of the student questionnaire were 86.57% and 100% of the lecturers said it was very useful. With the implementation of this textbook, it is hoped that the Ulos Weaving course will become an idol because it is a typical course of the Unimed Fine Arts Department. With this textbook, it will attract the interest of students from other universities and foreign students to study in the FBS Unimed Fine Arts Education Study Program with the Independent Campus Learning Curriculum which is oriented towards results.

Enhancing Critical Thinking Through the Integration of Self-Directed Learning in Sustainable Education in Madrasah

This research focuses on improving critical thinking skills through integrating independent learning in the context of continuing education in madrasah. This research explores the effectiveness of a self-directed learning approach in supporting the development of students critical thinking skills and understanding its impact on sustainable educational practices. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students, observation of the learning process, and analysis of curriculum documents. Research findings show that integrating independent learning significantly improves students’ critical thinking abilities, developing the ability to plan, evaluate, and reflect on their learning independently. Students who engage in independent learning improve analytical skills and creativity in dealing with problems and are better prepared to apply continuing education principles in everyday contexts. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of implementing independent learning in the madrasah curriculum to develop the critical thinking skills needed in continuing education and the challenges that need to be considered in adapting this method to the needs and learning styles of diverse students.

KURIKULUM MERDEKA: PERAN GURU PAI DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SISWA DI ERA DIGITAL

The freedom of teachers and students is the essence of self-oriented learning, capable of producing high-quality education, internationally recognised. In teaching learning activities, the role of the teacher is no longer the primary medium of instruction. Students can now quickly retrieve knowledge from a variety of media and learning resources that grow with technological developments, whether in terms of IT-based learning or other forms of communication. This research takes a qualitative approach, using library research methods to gather previous research data sources with correlation. Access to initiation data sources in Google Scholar, as well as other research related articles. The findings highlight the importance of PAI teacher competence in the independent curriculum learning process in the digital age. Given that Islamic education contains a large amount of material that is important to students, such as the Quran Hadith, Fiqih, and Akidah Akhlak, a PAI teacher should use digital media, social media, and search engines to find relevant material, as well as support the PAI learning process in an independent curriculum in the digital age.

Multi-level sequence denoising with cross-signal contrastive learning for sequential recommendation

Sequential recommender systems (SRSs) aim to suggest next item for a user based on her historical interaction sequences. Recently, many research efforts have been devoted to attenuate the influence of noisy items in sequences by either assigning them with lower attention weights or discarding them directly. The major limitation of these methods is that the former would still prone to overfit noisy items while the latter may overlook informative items. To the end, in this paper, we propose a novel model named Multi-level Sequence Denoising with Cross-signal Contrastive Learning (MSDCCL) for sequential recommendation. To be specific, we first introduce a target-aware user interest extractor to simultaneously capture users’ long and short term interest with the guidance of target items. Then, we develop a multi-level sequence denoising module to alleviate the impact of noisy items by employing both soft and hard signal denoising strategies. Additionally, we extend existing curriculum learning by simulating the learning pattern of human beings. It is worth noting that our proposed model can be seamlessly integrated with a majority of existing recommendation models and significantly boost their effectiveness. Experimental studies on five public datasets are conducted and the results demonstrate that the proposed MSDCCL is superior to the state-of-the-art baselines. Optimizing Crowd Counting in Dense Environments Through Curriculum Learning Training Strategy

Counting individuals in highly crowded environments, characterized by thousands of people, has garnered significant attention in recent years, due to the high number of vertical markets wherein such algorithms can prove beneficial, ranging from smart city and transportation to retail sectors, among others. Within this context, in this paper we introduce a novel training methodology tailored for estimating the number of people, ensuring precise counting accuracy in both moderately and highly crowded scenarios. The proposed approach exploits a formulation of the problem based on point detection, where each point represents an individual’s head. Our innovative contributions center around the designing of a novel training strategy employing Curriculum Learning (CL), which aims to replicate the gradual learning process observed in human cognition, training on simpler tasks at the beginning and tackling more complex tasks as the training evolves. In order to evaluate the complexity of each sample image, we propose a novel indicator taking into account both the number of people and their distribution within the image. The experimentation phase encompassed 18 publicly available datasets; the obtained results validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, surpassing the baseline state-of-the-art point detection by 71% and 70% in terms of Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Squared Error (MSE), respectively

Simulation-based echocardiography learning contribution on training of medical residents.

Echocardiography is a pivotal exam in critically ill patients, a specific training is crucial. Medical residents often lack echocardiography practice. This study aims to evaluate the impact of simulation-based training on medical residents' echocardiography mastery. This interventional study was conducted among medical residents at the Simulation Center of the Faculty of Medicine in Monastir (CeSim) in January 2022. The intervention consisted of a theoretical training and a simulator-based practical training concerning echocardiography. Residents underwent evaluation before and after training through a "Pre-Test" and a "Post-Test," respectively, using a French-language questionnaire. Participation was entirely voluntary. A total of 28 medical residents participated in our study, with the majority being female (57.1%). The median age was 29 years (interquartile range: 28-31.75). Following training, the proportion of participants who reported having the necessary skills for echocardiography interpretation significantly increased (p<0.05). Respondents demonstrated significant improvements in their scores on theoretical tests and practical skills assessments. Concerning echocardiographic views, the percentage of participants who correctly identified the title of the parasternal small axis section increased from 53.6% before training to 100% after training (p <10-3). Significant enhancements were observed in all parameters evaluating the practice of echocardiographic sections by respondents on a mannequin after training, encompassing time to obtain the view, view quality, image quality, visualization of structures, interpretability, and image stability (p<10-3). There was a significant improvement in average response rates for echocardiographic clinical syndroms among medical residents before and after training. All participants emphasized the indispensability of ultrasound education in the training of physicians specializing in managing cardiopulmonary emergencies. This study reports the beneficial role of simulation-based training in enhancing the mastery of medical residents in echocardiography. Incorporating such training methods into their learning curricula is advisable.

NAVIGASI KESUKSESAN GURU DAN SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM MENGIMPLEMENTASIKAN KURIKULUM MERDEKA

ABSTRACT: The Merdeka curriculum is a student-centered curriculum aimed at promoting critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students, it emphasizes the importance of holistic education, which combines not only academic subjects but also socio-emotional learning and practical skills. One aspect of the Merdeka Curriculum is to emphasize personalized learning to meet the individual needs of students and increase their involvement in the learning process. To create successful learning in an independent curriculum, it is necessary to discuss the implementation, navigation of success, challenges, and impact of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian primary schools, with a focus on the experience of teachers and students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library study as a data collection method. Merdeka's curriculum has improved student engagement, creativity, and problem-solving skills despite challenges such as adaptation of new teaching methods and technologyintegration. The teachers found that collaboration and professional development continuously supported successful implementation. It is also about strategies for the successful navigation of teachers and students in the Free Curriculum, including inclusive practices and the necessary support system to support educators in improving the quality of education for all students, by adapting teaching methods and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Analysis of Elementary School Teacher Readiness in Implementing the Independent Curriculum in Gorontalo City

This research aims to find out how prepared teachers are in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools (SD) in Gorontalo City. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in several elementary schools (SD) in Gorontalo City, including SDN 96 Kota Utara, SDN 29 Kota Selatan, SDN 75 Kota Tengah, SDN 02 Kota Barat, SDN 8 Kota Barat, SDN 42 Hulonthalangi and SDN No. 57 East City. The data collection technique used in this research was conducting in-depth interviews. The research analyzed the readiness of elementary school teachers in implementing the independent curriculum using 6 indicators, namely (1) understanding of the curriculum structure, (2) readiness of learning plans, (3) readiness of the learning process, (4) readiness of teaching material modules, (5) readiness of facilities and infrastructure, 6) readiness for learning assessment. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that the readiness of teachers in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools in Gorontalo City based on six indicators shows that teachers in Gorontalo City are still not fully ready to implement the independent curriculum. Some teachers still lack understanding regarding the structure of the independent curriculum and admit that they still need training, especially regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum in learning, such as developing teaching modules, learning assessments, implementing the Ancasila student profile program and utilizing PMM. Apart from that, teachers admit that they still have difficulty accessing textbooks used in implementing the independent curriculum. However, in general, school infrastructure, including the internet, is very adequate in supporting the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools in Gorontalo City.
