The Impact of Science and Technology Innovation on the Training Management of Athletes

Closing the sub-frontier: corridorising Tibet and the social life of pervasive security

ABSTRACT Western China’s border provinces’ domestic economic corridors are positive spaces that erase the negative spaces of the frontier. Frontiers, understood as spaces of incomplete sovereign control, threaten Chinese governance and the success of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). An analysis of sinophone writings on corridors and frontiers demonstrates how bridgehead economic corridors, such as the Tibet-Yi Economic Corridor, are theorised to eliminate frontiers through development. Within a context of uneven and combined geographies, leapfrog development is an indeterminate social process that has shaped both corridors and frontier spaces through new resources and mobilities. I draw from fieldwork on the Tibetan Plateau to show how the agency characteristic of Tibetans in a state-challenging ‘frontier of manoeuvre’ has been affected by restrictions on practices of everyday life and religion, including checkpoints and fire restrictions. The frictions of domestic economic corridors' development suggest a renewed significance of the frontier in this multipolar time.

Exploring the Impact of After-Hours Work Connectivity on Employee Performance: Insights from a Job Crafting Perspective.

With the leapfrog development of information and communication technology and the intensification of external competition among enterprises, after-hours work connectivity through communication devices has become a new norm in the workplace. While it offers certain conveniences, the constant connectivity it entails also imposes significant pressure on employees. How to comprehensively understand and rationally treat after-hours work connectivity has become an issue that organizations need to pay great attention to. Based on conservation of resources theory, this study analyzed 407 questionnaires to explore the "double-edged sword" effect of after-hours work connectivity on employee performance and analyzed the moderating effect of the psychological contract. The results indicate the following: (1) Proactive pathway: after-hours work connectivity promotes employees' job crafting behaviors toward approach-oriented adjustments, thereby enhancing job performance. (2) Passive pathway: after-hours work connectivity encourages employees' job crafting behaviors toward avoidance-oriented adjustments, leading to decreased job performance. (3) The psychological contract positively moderates the relationship between after-hours work connectivity and approach-oriented job crafting and negatively moderates the relationship between after-hours work connectivity and avoidance-oriented job crafting, regulating both the positive and negative coping pathways. The research findings contribute to assisting organizations in adopting a dialectical perspective towards and effectively utilizing after-hours work connectivity. This aids in achieving a balance between organizational effectiveness and employee well-being, seeking a mutually beneficial work paradigm, and providing managerial recommendations to promote sustainable organizational development.

Research on Jiangxi Cultural Wisdom Tourism Industry Strategy Based on OHDSI General Data Model and Digital Art Empowerment

With the rapid development and wide application of a new round of information technologies, such as the global Internet of Things, the new generation of mobile Internet, cloud computing, etc., informatization has opened a new stage of smart tourism (ST), and ST has become the main trend of tourism development in China at present and for a long time to come. Research on the Impact of Labor Resource Allocation on Green Technology Innovation

Facing increasingly severe environmental pollution and resource scarcity, China has accelerated its pace of green and low-carbon transformation. Green technological innovation helps economic development by reducing ecological pollution and lowering resource consumption. As an important factor of production for social development, the labor force plays a very significant role in optimizing the economic development structure of our country and achieving high-quality leapfrog development. This article explores the relationship between the allocation of labor resources and green technology innovation based on the aforementioned practical motivations, from both theoretical mechanisms and empirical perspectives. Using provincial panel data from China between 2000 and 2021, a spatial Durbin model was constructed to empirically test the spatial spillover effects of labor resource allocation on green technology innovation and to draw relevant conclusions. Subsequently, to further investigate the heterogeneous impact of labor resource allocation on green technology innovation, China was divided into three major regions—eastern, central, and western—and empirical model tests were conducted on separate samples. The following conclusions have been drawn: Over time, during the 22 years from 2000 to 2021, China's overall labor resource allocation has shown an overall upward trend; China's green technology innovation capability has significantly improved, but regional development is uneven, with a large gap in development between the eastern, central, and western regions; through the study of the spatial Durbin model on the impact of labor resource allocation efficiency on green technology innovation, the results indicate that labor resource allocation has a significant main effect and spillover effect on green technology innovation, meaning that the improvement in labor resource allocation efficiency will promote the increase in the level of local green technology innovation, while the decline in labor resource allocation efficiency will inhibit the increase in the level of local green technology innovation; the impediment effect of the decline in labor resource allocation efficiency on regional green technology innovation varies significantly across different regions, with the central region being the most prominent, followed by the western region, and then the eastern region. Based on the conclusions, the following suggestions are made: Regions should strengthen cooperation and exchanges to promote the coordinated development of green technology innovation. Eastern provinces and cities with a higher level of green technology innovation should lead the surrounding provinces and cities with weaker development, actively engage in cooperation and exchanges in infrastructure and green technology, and establish a more orderly and open green technology trading market, thereby promoting the coordinated development of green technology innovation between regions; adopt market-oriented approaches to remove barriers to the autonomous and orderly flow of labor factors. Give the market a decisive role in resource allocation, reasonably play the role of the government, promote the rational and orderly flow of capital and labor resources between regions, and improve the efficiency of resource allocation.

In‐Sensor Touch Analysis for Intent Recognition

AbstractTactile intent recognition systems, which are highly desired to satisfy human's needs and humanized services, shall be accurately understanding and identifying human's intent. They generally utilize time‐driven sensor arrays to achieve high spatiotemporal resolution, however, which encounter inevitable challenges of low scalability, huge data volumes, and complex processing. Here, an event‐driven intent recognition touch sensor (IR touch sensor) with in‐sensor computing capability is presented. The merit of event‐driven and in‐sensor computing enables the IR touch sensor to achieve ultrahigh resolution and obtain complete intent information with intrinsic concise data. It achieves critical signal extraction of action trajectories with a rapid response time of 0.4 ms and excellent durability of >10 000 cycles, bringing an important breakthrough of tactile intent recognition. Versatile applications prove the integrated functions of the IR touch sensor for great interactive potential in all‐weather environments regardless of shading, dynamics, darkness, and noise. Unconscious and even hidden action features can be perfectly extracted with the ultrahigh recognition accuracy of 98.4% for intent recognition. The further auxiliary diagnostic test demonstrates the practicability of the IR touch sensor in telemedicine palpation and therapy. This groundbreaking integration of sensing, data reduction, and ultrahigh‐accuracy recognition will propel the leapfrog development for conscious machine intelligence.

Alleviating China’s energy poverty: does smart transportation matter?

ABSTRACT In the era of the digital economy, smart transportation has achieved leapfrog development, affecting all aspects of life, but few scholars have paid attention to whether it has affected the goal of alleviating energy poverty (EP). Accordingly, our study uses data from 30 Chinese provinces, 10 years (2010–2019), to assess the correlation between smart transportation and EP by using the Instrumental variables generalized method of moments (IV-GMM) model. The findings indicate that: (i) a significant inverse relationship exists between smart transportation and EP, and smart transportation can significantly alleviate EP; (ii) the impact of smart transportation on EP under different quantiles is significant, and the higher the level of EP, the less obvious the role of smart transportation. Furthermore, (iii) aside from its indirect role in reducing emissions, smart transportation still contributes to EP reduction by influencing green technology innovation. In light of the aforementioned results, this study puts forward relevant policy recommendations to provide important policy insights for reducing EP through smart transportation.

Artificial Intelligence and Technological Innovation: Evidence from China’s Strategic Emerging Industries

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the driving force for the leapfrog development of science and technology, the optimization and upgrading of industry, as well as the overall leap in productivity. Using panel data of strategic emerging firms in Chinese A-Share Listed companies from 2012 to 2022, this study empirically examines the impact of AI on technological innovation through a two-way fixed-effects model. The study discovered that technological innovation capability can be greatly enhanced by the degree of AI present in strategic emerging industry businesses. This conclusion remains valid following a series of robustness tests. The mechanism study demonstrates how the degree of AI increases businesses’ capacity for technological innovation by lowering funding constraints and boosting R&D investment. According to heterogeneity analysis, AI has varying empowering effects on different industries within strategic emerging industries. Its strongest empowering effect is observed in the western region, with the central and eastern regions seeing the weakest effects. Additionally, the promotion effect of AI is greater for state-owned enterprises than for non-state-owned enterprises. To better play the role of AI in encouraging the technical innovation of firms in strategic emerging industries, it is required to establish dedicated funds, create an AI technology innovation platform, and develop differentiated regulations.

Spatial characteristics and dynamic differences of power industry’s low carbon transition efficiency

The power industry’s low carbon transition is pivotal for achieving carbon reduction and sustainable development. This study uses the super epsilon-based measurement (Super-EBM) model and the Malmquist index to evaluate the power industry’s low carbon transition efficiency using data from 30 provinces in China from 2010 to 2020, and utilizes the Tobit model to comprehensively analyze the factors affecting the low carbon transition of power industry. In addition, this paper examines the spatial differences in the power industry's low carbon transition efficiency as well as its distributional characteristics and dynamic evolutionary patterns. Conclusion is drawn as follows this paper analyzes the regional differences, spatial distribution characteristics and dynamic evolutionary trends of the power industry’s low carbon transition. The main conclusions are as follows: (1) The power industry’s low carbon transition efficiency in China shows an uptrend, with the western China region having the highest overall level of efficiency, greater fluctuations in the central China region, and more stability in the eastern China region, technological progress is a central factor in increasing total factor productivity, the efficiency of the power industry’s low carbon transition is positively influenced by the electricity prices, and negatively influenced by the energy structure, environmental regulations and economic structure; (2) the Intraregional differences and hypervariable density are the main reasons sources of the overall differences in the efficiency of the power industry’s low carbon transition; Intraregional differences in the eastern, central, and western China regions are decreasing year by year, but the efficiency of the power industry’s low carbon transition in the western China region is still distributed in a multipolar way; (3) The dynamic evolutionary trends of the efficiency distribution of the low carbon transition in power industry is influenced by the type of spatial lag in the neighboring area. Where areas with low efficiency makes it difficult to achieve short-term leapfrog development, and areas with a cluster of high-efficiency provinces are prone to “Siphon Effect”. The findings provide a theoretical basis for promoting the efficiency of the power industry's low carbon transition and coordinating the strategic adjustment of economic and environmental green development.

Impact of digital infrastructure construction on financial development: Evidence from the “broadband China” Strategy

The “Broadband China” has enabled China to achieve leapfrog development in the construction of its high-speed broadband networks, thereby accelerating the development of digital infrastructure and unleashing the potential for financial sector growth. This has created a strong impetus for economy to shift towards high-quality development. An in-depth understanding of the empirical correlation between the development of digital infrastructure and financial progress is absent, leaving an unexplored domain of research concerning the impact of the “Broad China” strategy on financial agglomeration (Finagg), financial scale (Finscal), and digital finance (Digfina). In order to evaluate the dynamic impacts of this policy on financial development, this research builds a multi-period difference in differences (DID) model using panel data from 269 prefecture-level cities between 2011 and 2020. The study concludes that the “Broadband China” policy significantly fosters the growth of Finagg, Finscal, and Digfina, in China, and found that the “Broadband China” policy has a significant impact on the regional heterogeneity of financial agglomeration and digital finance. There are significant variations in the effects of this policy on different regions, while the regional heterogeneity differences in the impact on financial scale are relatively small. Additionally, the three mediating variables of technological innovation, fund support, and talent agglomeration play a mediating role in the mechanism of digital infrastructure on financial development.

Extension Mechanism of Water-Conducting Cracks in the Thick and Hard Overlying Strata of Coal Mining Face

It is of great significance for coal safety production and water resource protection in the Yuheng mining area to master the evolution law of water-conducting fractures under the condition of thick and hard overburden. This research focuses on the 2102 fully mechanized mining face in the Balasu Coal Mine as the research background. The fracture evolution and strata movement characteristics in thick and hard overlying strata are simulated and analyzed by combining numerical simulation with physical simulation, and the formation mechanism of a water-conducting fracture in the overlying strata is revealed and verified by field measurements of the development height of “two zones”. The results show that the anisotropy of fracture propagation in low-position overlying strata is high, and the fracture propagation in high-position overlying strata is mainly vertical, which indicates characteristics of leapfrog development. The number and development height of fractures undergo the change–growth process of “slow–rapid–uniform”. Multiple rock strata together form a complex force chain network with multiple strong chain arches. The local stress concentration leads to the initiation of micro-cracks in contact fractures, and the cracks gradually penetrate from bottom to top and then the strong chain arches are broken. The water-conducting cracks in overlying strata show a dynamic expansion process of “local micro-cracks–jumping cracks–through cracks–water-conducting cracks”. The fracture between the caving zone and fracture zone presents obvious layered characteristics, the overall shape of the water-conducting fracture zone is “saddle-shaped”, and the maximum development height lags behind the coal mining face by about 180 m. Through the observation of water injection leakage and borehole TV observation of three boreholes under underground construction, combined with the results of water pressure tests, it is comprehensively determined that the height of the water-conducting fracture zone is 103.68~107.58, and the fracture–production ratio is 31.42~32.60, which is basically consistent with the results of numerical simulation and physical simulation. This research provides theoretical guidance and a scientific basis for coal mine water disaster prevention under similar geological conditions.

Multifunction integration within magnetic CNT-bridged MXene/CoNi based phase change materials

Developing advanced nanocomposite phase change materials (PCMs) integrating zero-energy thermal management, microwave absorption, photothermal therapy and electrical signal detection can promote the leapfrog development of flexible wearable electronic devices. For this goal, we propose a multidimensional collaborative strategy combining two-dimensional (2D) MXene nanosheets with metal-organic framework-derived one-dimensional (1D) carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and zero-dimensional (0D) metal nanoparticles. After encapsulating paraffin wax (PW) in three-dimensional (3D) networked multidimensional MXene/CoNi–C, the resulting composite PCMs exhibit excellent thermal energy storage capacity and long-term thermally reliable stability. Benefiting from the synergistically enhanced photothermal effects of CNTs, Co/Ni nanoparticles and MXene, PW@MXene/CoNi–C can capture photons efficiently and transfer phonons quickly, yielding an ultrahigh photothermal conversion and storage efficiency of 97.5%. Additionally, PW@MXene/CoNi–C composite PCMs exhibit high microwave absorption with a minimum reflection loss of −49.3 ​dB at 8.03 ​GHz in heat-related electronic application scenarios. More attractively, the corresponding flexible phase change film can simultaneously achieve thermal management and electromagnetic shielding of electronic devices, as well as photothermal therapy and electrical signal detection for individuals. This functional integration design provides an important reference for developing advanced flexible multifunctional wearable materials and devices.

Research on Rural Tourism Development in Ganzi Tibetan Area under the Perspective of "Agriculture, Culture and Tourism" Integration

With its unique resource endowment, rural tourism in the Ganzi Tibetan region has developed rapidly. From the early stage of "big development, small integration" to "big integration, small development", it ultimately presents a new situation of "each with its own characteristics, fully blooming". When developing rural tourism, especially in the process of combining agriculture, culture, and tourism, the Ganzi Tibetan region faces many difficulties such as resource independence, single function, technological barriers, and market competition. To this end, efforts can be made to strengthen the integration of resources, functions, technologies, and markets in rural tourism in the Ganzi Tibetan region through regional linkage and mutual assistance, innovative integration forms, coordinated planning of industries, and improved market access, in order to promote the deep integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism in the Ganzi Tibetan region and drive the leapfrog development of rural tourism industry.

Analysis of the Impact of Foreign Restriction Policies on the Development of New Energy Vehicles in China Based on DID Algorithm

The world is facing an energy and environmental crisis, and is therefore actively promoting energy conservation, emission reduction and green development, and new energy vehicles have thus become the focus of attention. These vehicles, which use electricity instead of oil, are crucial to achieving carbon neutrality and have gained global consensus. In recent years, new energy vehicles have led the transformation of the global automotive industry and contributed to the sustained growth of the world economy. China has achieved leapfrog development in this field, leading the world in terms of industry scale and technology, and its complete industrial chain has enhanced its leading position in the global transformation of automotive electrification. However, despite the fact that China's new energy vehicle industry chain is the most complete and has competitive advantages, it still faces challenges in exporting, such as high tariffs and restrictions in the US and Europe. In order to explore the impact of these boycott policies on China's new energy vehicle industry, this study constructs a double-difference model (DID) to analyze the impact of these policies with tariff rates of each country as the control variable, which is expected to provide valuable reference for China's new energy vehicle export strategy.

Coordination between scientific and technological innovation and the high-quality development of Baijiu industry: The coupling and decoupling perspective.

The Baijiu industry is a significant contributor to both the food industry and the light industry. Its high tax characteristics effectively promote the sustainable development of the regional economy. First, the evaluation index system of scientific and technological innovation (STI) and high-quality development of Baijiu industry (HQDBI) were constructed. The entropy-improved CRITIC method was used to measure the weights. Second, the coordination relationship and evolution trend of STI and HQDBI were explored using the coupling coordination model and the Tapio decoupling model. Then, the transfer law and key influencing factors were further investigated using the Markov chain and grey correlation, respectively. The main contribution is the dynamic evolution of the coupling and decoupling relationships from the perspective of multiple Baijiu provinces, and deeply depicts the coordination relationship and evolutionary trends of STI and HQDBI. The results show that: the spatial distribution of the coupling coordination degree shows high values in the east-west and low values in the north-south characteristics. In 2021, a pattern of coordinated development in Baijiu provinces has emerged along the Yangtze River basin. The decoupling state is mainly strong decoupling, but it remains poor in Shanxi. The coordination process is unstable and difficult to achieve leapfrog development. Coordination, sustainability and innovation environment have a greater impact on the coordination of subsystems.

Research Progress and Application Prospects of Solid-State Hydrogen Storage Technology.

Solid-state hydrogen storage technology has emerged as a disruptive solution to the "last mile" challenge in large-scale hydrogen energy applications, garnering significant global research attention. This paper systematically reviews the Chinese research progress in solid-state hydrogen storage material systems, thermodynamic mechanisms, and system integration. It also quantitatively assesses the market potential of solid-state hydrogen storage across four major application scenarios: on-board hydrogen storage, hydrogen refueling stations, backup power supplies, and power grid peak shaving. Furthermore, it analyzes the bottlenecks and challenges in industrialization related to key materials, testing standards, and innovation platforms. While acknowledging that the cost and performance of solid-state hydrogen storage are not yet fully competitive, the paper highlights its unique advantages of high safety, energy density, and potentially lower costs, showing promise in new energy vehicles and distributed energy fields. Breakthroughs in new hydrogen storage materials like magnesium-based and vanadium-based materials, coupled with improved standards, specifications, and innovation mechanisms, are expected to propel solid-state hydrogen storage into a mainstream technology within 10-15 years, with a market scale exceeding USD 14.3 billion. To accelerate the leapfrog development of China's solid-state hydrogen storage industry, increased investment in basic research, focused efforts on key core technologies, and streamlining the industry chain from materials to systems are recommended. This includes addressing challenges in passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and hydrogen refueling stations, and building a collaborative innovation ecosystem involving government, industry, academia, research, finance, and intermediary entities to support the achievement of carbon peak and neutrality goals and foster a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient modern energy system.
