Numerical modeling of the propagation of plastic deformation across the cross-section of the rolled strip is carried out, which is especially important during secondary compaction rolling of composite products, due to the existing discontinuity of such a material, consisting of individual particles of metal powders. The developed algorithm for determining оf penetrating deformation will avoid mutual overlap of compressive stresses from each roll and prevent the appearance of tensile stresses at half-height of the strip, leading to destruction of the material. The results obtained will find application in the development of sheet rolling technologies (monomaterials and composite products), as well as in modeling the stress-strain state of the material and analyzing the causes of the appearance of layer cracks in rolled products.
