Using Offensive Words as Unethical Advertising in Viral Marketing at Angkringan West Semarang

Communication strategy is the main factor for doing marketing. Likewise, what was conducted by Angkringan West in order to increase the number of followers and customers in its culinary business, a communication strategy was chosen using offensive words which were considered controversial. The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing communication strategy concept of the owner of Angkringan West interested in using offensive words in conducting marketing communications, to analyze the considerations and the expected impact of using offensive words as unethical advertising on Angkringan West. This research was conducted using a type of qualitative research. As for the results of the study, it was found that 1) the consideration of using offensive words was adapted to use the language of social communication, namely the Semarangan language which flows spontaneously; 2) choosing the strategy of using offensive words is not to cause discomfort, impolite or unethical in trading, but the acceptance of offensive words depends on the demographics of the audience and the willingness to join the Angkringan West community. Conclusion: offensive words are an appropriate marketing strategy to use with certain marketing targets.

Pendampingan Pengenalan Slang Word Menggunakan Aplikasi Media Sosial Tiktok pada Anak-Anak Kp.Golat Desa Pangkalan

Introduction: Slang is a branch of Indonesian as a language of social communication. The term began to appear in the late 1980s. Slang is often used as a means of communication among teenagers and even children in a group within a certain period of time. Indeed, children and teenagers have their own language of expression. Objective: This study aims to investigate the effect of the existence of slang on tiktok social media on increasing children's knowledge in understanding slang. Method: The research method used is a lecture method with a descriptive design on a group of children from Kp.Golat. Result: The implementation of assistance in the introduction of Slang Word (Slang Language) is given to children in Kampung Golat, Pangkalan Village, Pandeglang Regency as mentoring participants and is carried out in the Kp.Golat environment so that they can add insight and can understand about slang languages contained in the Tiktok social media application in order to equip.children.in.facing.technological.developments.and.the.times. Conclusion: By providing assistance regarding the introduction of slang to golat village children, it has proven to be useful for increasing knowledge and understanding of slang found on tiktok social media

Konstruksi Identitas Kebangsaan Ganda Diaspora Tionghoa Indonesia Melalui Penggunaan Bahasa

National identity is constructed by primordial, sacred, character and economic factors. Indonesia as a multi-ethnic country, the population consists of various ethnic groups and diaspora such as the Chinese, Arab and Indian diaspora. As an independent and sovereign nation, even though there are many tribes and there is also a diaspora, Indonesia's national identity can be recognized by other nations in the world, one of which is through language. The Chinese diaspora is the diaspora with the largest number in Indonesia, after becoming Indonesian citizens they also still have a Chinese national identity considering the history of their ancestors from mainland China. Then when they live in Indonesia and become Indonesian citizens, they use Indonesian as the language of social communication and have an Indonesian national identity. However, their Chinese national identity is still attached. The condition of the formation of a dual national identity in the Chinese diaspora through the use of Chinese and Indonesian languages ​​raises the question, what is their real national identity? Then what social consequences arise as a result of the dual national identity. The purpose of this article is to understand the influence of language on the formation of dual national identity and its consequences. The research method is based on literature study and qualitative data from interviews with several Chinese diaspora families based on their life experiences when they were still in Indonesia.

СУБСТАНЦИИ КОМПОЗИТНОЙ ФОРМЫ

Architecture as a language of social communication embodies the artistic content in various forms that are associated with the organization of professional work. During the period of handicraft production, the architect-the main builder, expressed the cosmic harmony of the Universe made by the Creator. Being a designer, an architect expressed mathematical proportions in the composite forms of the building drawing. The division of labor in design led to the differentiation of the composite form into a functional form, compositional form and constructive form. Industrialization of design led a composite concept to the development of spatial concepts and the formation of an environmental approach. The development of formative thinking of the architect led to the creation of new innovative eco-friendly architectural materials. Unique manufacturing techniques allow to create perfect flatness and flexibility of composite materials associated with the absence of internal stress. This led to the creation of spatial structures without seams in different temperature and climatic conditions. The article systematizes professional design experience concentrated in the concept of composite form, calling the integrated, differentiated and multilayer superpositions of design graphics and the construction body.

SYSTEMS THEORY AND POWER/KNOWLEDGE:

Although Niklas Luhmann refrains from an explicit treatment of power as a force of social constraint, I propose that, if partially reconstructed, his Systems Theory can illuminate the subject considerably. I show this by distinguishing between five elements in Luhmann's treatment of each of the following six social subsystems: the economy, politics, law, science, religion and education. The five subsystem elements are: (1) a binary code, (2) a basis of authority, (3) a language of social communication, (4) a generalized medium of communication, and (5) a social function. Whereas Luhmann assumes that each subsystem approximates autopoiesis, or self‐contained internal operation and autonomy, I assume the pervasiveness of interpenetration, whereby operations is one subsystem nonetheless affect operations in others. Subsequently, I juxtapose the reconstructed systems‐theoretic framework developed in the first half of the paper with Michel Foucault's power/knowledge framework. I conclude that the use of a reconstructed systems‐theoretic approach, based loosely on Luhmann's original theory, could greatly illuminate the specifics of power/knowledge in modern societies, to an even greater extent than Foucault does himself.
